IntelliLinks provides in-text advertisement, sidebar advertisement and link selling marketplace for webmasters and advertisers. They are new to the scene and enrollment is automatically accepted although your websites can be reviewed to be acceptable to their network. When I test, they automatically accepted my pagerank 2 site but for a newly published site they sent me a message to review that site. So I guess, although not publicly stated, pagerank is a good indicator to be eligible to their network. They have a build in script for php-powered site and plugin for wordpress based sites. You can’t decide which link costs how much but you can argue about the price later when link published on your site… This is of course a case when everything is automated bu intellilink but you can decide manually approve the links also.

Adbrite also provides text ads, banner ada, full page ads, and bridepic which serves ads in pictures. Adbrite is one of the most widely used adsense alternative but in fact they do not provide contextual ads. But because of their huge amount of advertisers, it is always possible to provide ads for your website. Inline ads is quite good but the actual amount is earned through text-ads which is very similar to adsense ads unless they are not contextual. Adoptim provides in-text advertisments, in-video ads, text link ads, full search pages, directs and rotatives campaigns to its publishers and can be used as a google adsense alternative. The interface is not complicated and the program available for international webmasters and traffic. Full search pages and search bars give no results if there are no advertisers for the searched term according to your visitors IP. So if you have wide audience of non-US, Canada or European traffic, it won’t give much yield I guess. As of this writing, AdOptim doesn’t have many direct advertisers to advertise on sites, 7 direct advertisers were on file and their payout commissions were between 11$ to 35$ per leads generated. I started to use their ads on some of my sites and it seems, although no leads or clicks generated on the stats, they give 0,08$ per CPM I guess (not stated anywhere for CPM payment but stats seem to say so). I am expecting better yield from its in-text advertising service though.

When I use clicksor on some of my websites though, google limits the access to some of the pages that clicksor ads shown because of advertising of browser add ons. So check the access to your site through google search results time to time when you work with this network.

Chitika is a good alternative to google adsense. You can use it in conjunction with adsense or as a stand alone google adsense alternative. YPN is one of the best adsense alternative around but only available to US and Canadian citizens. You can use YPN on English and/or Spanish based sites/blogs and webpages. You can work with another ad networks but you are not permitted to display ads from the other network on the same page at the same time as your YPN ads are displayed. They pay you through paypal, check, bank transfer or to your search marketing account on yahoo.

In search engine advertising bir per placement arena, overture was the king years ago before google and globally google seems to be the number one choice. But In USA, competition between google and yahoo is still going on. So just think about YPN as your second of even your first income program instead of adsense…
