Last year Tesco Homeplus turned one of Seoul’s biggest subway stations (temporarily) into a virtual supermarket. Using a pre-downloaded smartphone app, commuters could scan item images, and have the groceries delivered straight to their home.

LinkedIn has announced it has passed the 150 million member mark helping to seal its dominance over the professional social networking market. It passed the 100 million mark back in March 2011, but growth has been picking up steadily since then and it has added 20 million members since November.

Wimpy South Africa announced the launch of their Braille menus with an inspiring video campaign featuring visually-impaired customers. Each person was given a burger with a description of its quality written in Braille on top of the bun with sesame seeds. The video resonated with many customers in this community, eventually reaching over 800,000 sight-impaired individuals.

It doesn’t get more high concept than this. We heard the iPhone 6 might be getting a curved display, but this is just downright insane.
Perhaps years ahead of its time, Flickr user Vchenjingyuangel‘s flexible iPhone concept simply serves to remind us that while a razor thin phone with a bendy screen would undoubtedly be very cool, it would also be quite impractical.

House Party is a website that encourages people to throw parties with a free pack of exclusive items from sponsoring brands.
Hosts choose from a list of parties offered by different brands and receive a pack full of goods to get the party started (sadly, booze and nibbles not included). Party packs can include everything from food and toys to beauty products and games. Guests don’t need to pay or sell anything – all they have to do is give feedback on the party pack items.
