iTunes is not a centralized Store, its music library varies from country to country, it doesn’t live in the browser but in iTunes, and recently various US accounts from outside the country were banned from the Store by an IP control policy.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab is an Android-based compact tablet computer produced by Samsung that debuted on the 2nd of September at the 2010 IFA in Berlin. It features a 7 inch widescreen TFT-LCD touchscreen (1024 × 600 px), Wi-Fi capability, a 1.0 GHz ARM Cortex A8 (Hummingbird) processor, and the Swype input system. It is equipped with 2 cameras, a 3.2MP rear-facing camera with LED flash and a 1.3MP front facing camera for video calls.

The Galaxy Tab, at release, was equipped with Android 2.2 (Froyo).

The screen is based on TFT, instead of AMOLED, which Samsung uses on some of its smartphones. The concession was made to lower the cost of the product and improve battery life, which should last up to eight hours, according to Samsung.

The tablet’s lower weight and ability to make phone calls are two of the main advantages it has over Apple’s iPad, Samsung said.

Duke has the same sense of humor, he is cracking jokes, chewing bubblegum, and the ladies always surrounds him.

Duke Nukem Forever is a first person shooter. The controls are standard, mapped as you’d expect on the Xbox 360 controller. Zoom on the left trigger. Shoot on the right. Click the right stick to crouch. But, before all that, at the start of the demo, pull the right trigger to piss.

The demo starts with a first person view of the urinal. You can make Duke urinate as much as you want. The wait is over!

Well, no that’s not what this game is about. You’re in a football locker room. There are a couple of hot tubs and, in the main area, some soldiers gearing up for a fight. On the whiteboard they plan their move against the beast on the field. You can draw on the whiteboard.

The game is 100% in the spirit of classic Duke Nukem.

When you leave the locker room, you race down some halls where aliens are fighting soldiers. These scripted sequences show some of the destructibility (mostly of your allies’ limbs) and the smoke and explosion effects in the game. The effects look modern, though not beyond what we see in other games.

After that the demo jumped forward to level 15, which began as a driving level. Duke was in a dune buggy, racing down a canyon as an alien shuttle streamed forward overhead. The buggy can boost for big jumps.

The game will be ready in 2011.

Hail to the King:

GLaDOS appears to be troubled by the robots working together, and will attempt to aggravate their relationship through verbal trickery such as praising one robot over the other.

One of the robots is to be modified from a Personality Core, the other from a Sentry Gun. Very little is known about them so far, but Valve is considering making one masculine (probably the Personality Core-based) and the other feminine (probably the Sentry Gun-based).

Each robot is to have its own Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device, the capacity to transport through the portals created by the other.

The ASHPD used by the robot with the blue eye seems to be able to create two variants of blue portals. One is a light blue portal and the other is indigo, while the other robot has a light orange portal and a reddish-purple one.

In the new trailers in PAX 2010 for Co-Op, a shot of the two robot’s backs show that the core-like robot has the word “Atlas” on it, which could possibly be its true name.

While the single player campaign in Portal 2 is designed to avoid frustrating the player, the co-operative levels are more focused on coordination and communication, and are recognized by Valve as being much more difficult than the single-player puzzles.

The title of Dead Runner sounds like a game with lot of action in the middle of a dark and foggy woods, perhaps you must escape from souls or zombies, or something more interesting. Do not be fooled, you just run without stopping and you must avoid colliding with the trees … AND NOTHING ELSE !!!

The long waited game, Duke Nukem Forever is in the hands of developer Gearbox Software, after a incredible long development cycle.

The publisher announced this morning in advance of PAX 2010 that Gearbox Software was on the job, picking up where developer 3D Realms left off. Gearbox plans to ship the game on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 within the next year 2011.

Given Duke Nukem Forever was first announced in 1997 as a sequel to Duke Nukem 3D.

Gearbox and 2K will be showcasing the game to press and the public at this weekend’s PAX convention. 2K Games is offering a publicly playable demo of Duke Nukem Forever at its booth.

Gearbox Software president Randy Pitchford tells that his studio picked up development in late 2009 and that the game is currently in the polishing stages.

A great Review. This is probably one of the most affordable 10.1″ capacitive Android 2.2 ARM Cortex A8 45nm tablets, with beautiful built-in HDMI output and full sized USB host, it’ll come starting at $299 for the 8GB model with MicroSD slot, it’s amazingly thin and light, 480gr that is 30% less heavy than the iPad and it’s got 12% more screen surface area than the iPad (9.7″).

It plays HD videos 720p.

Once again, the engadget guys has the new iPod touch 4th Generation in their hands to be tested (in a fast way, come on, no gyroscope test). First impression, it is smaller than the iPhone 4 (but what about than the previous iPod Touch 2009?)

In essence, it’s a much thinner iPhone 4, with no cell radio and a lower quality photo camera. The design is relatively similar to previous touches, so no major surprises there, but the inclusion of that A4 chip, higher resolution screen, and front and back cameras makes it a far more versatile device.

The back camera is clearly not the same 5 megapixel shooter present on the iPhone 4, its photo resolution is 960 x 720, a huge difference. The first iPhone from 2007 was iwth a 2MP camera, so this must be a joke (sadly it’s not).

My thoughts on Apple’s new iPod Shuffle are quite similar to what Chris Pirillo says here.

A great review from the guys of engadget. What I like to see is how the new iPod Nano could be used as a wristwatch. The clock app has a very easy-to-read analog style to it, and swiping across the screen will give you a stopwatch and timer. There is no alarm clock, however, which as the Apple rep explained to us was a design decision given its lack of an external speaker.

At first glance, we can analyze that:

• In the first picture they covered the ethnic factor, a blonde girl and a african-american dude doing FaceTime.
• The logo of the iPod Touch and iPod Nano, have letters with colored fingerprints to highlight both are multitouch devices.
• The most important of the new iPod Shuffle is that it brings …. Buttons! because they mentioned it like so
• The text of iTunes 10 and Apple TV has a horrible effect, not very legible. A FAIL.
• The most important highlight in the new iTunes is Ping.
• They only give the price of the cheapest model of iPod Nano and Apple TV.
• ANOTHER FAIL: Apple TV is not quite visible, they are giving priority to the Huge TV and the Apple remote control.
