Some amazing video’s illustrating the research done on bird flocks, the conclusion from the lab is that they behave like metals becoming magnetized. Nice chance to see good footage of the behaviour of flocks. You can check for yourself if you see any differences between italian or english birds in the second video ;) See the video here>

Ok, there we go…. Although still part of the Aer family ;), from end of this month I will leave the boys to dedicate myself to other projects, and enjoy the time with my son Tim! Thanks enormously for the 3,5 years working with you guys! It’s been amazing!

Good news for Barcelona, the Institue of Design, Art and Technolgy (IDAT) is renewed! It’s now part of the IAAC institute, certificated by UPC.

We are very happy that the next step in interaction education is taken. We will be part of the professors base for 2012 joining Hannah Perner-Wilson, Mika Satomi, Chris Sugrue, Arturo Castro among others, in teaching the Master in Advanced Interaction.

2012 a special year, let it be a great one, with a golden edge!

During the past 3 weeks we’ve been teaching a workshop inspired by old school video games. The idea behind the workshop was to modify an Atari 2600′s video games adding a simple twist to it. It could be by changing part of the playability of the game or by using other inputs than just buttons.

The students came up with 3 final pieces: Barreño, Beatlaw and Indy 501. Please visit the workshop website to play them, download the source code or get more info about the workshop process of work.

Enllaç is an app to help you find the best route to your destination using public transportation in Barcelona. You can choose any mode of transportation; whether it be metro, bus, train, tram, public bicycles, taxi or even going by foot. It mashes up services from Tranports Metropolitans de Barcelona like Vull Anar and iBus along with Google Maps and Bicing. This way you can discover new routes or just know if you are going to arrive in time to catch the next bus.

Its is designed for daily use, so it is very straight forward and fast. The only thing you need to know is where you want go. Enllaç does everything else.
