The exhibition will be open to the public March 25th to July 8th, 2012. If you're in the Denver area this is a must-see! The exhibition will features the fashion icon's 40 years of haute couture, major pieces, photograph, films and sketches. Yves Saint Laurent's collections are so gorgeous and classically timeless. Bottega Veneta’s Knot Intrecciato Velvet/Pitone Clutch

Every little girl with an imagination (and an active fashion sense) dreams of being able to carry around her precious stickers, barrettes, and other accessories in a giant piece of fruit. The fruit could be an apple, a plum, a pear. But the sumptuousness and juiciness of fruit – its ornamentation and colors – really appeals on a primal level. Perhaps that's why so many women are drawn to Bottega Veneta's Knot Intrecciato Velvet/Pitone clutch.

At first inspection, the clutch looks like a plush pineapple or a more exotic tropical fruit.

The bag boasts woven velvet, a leather-lined interior, and python trim. It is Italian made (of course!). It comes in Fire Opel (like a shimmering orangish color), and it measures in petitely at 5 inches x 7 inches x 2.5 inches. The python trim is decidedly understated – a purposeful design choice, one that separates clutches like this from other “lower caste” bags.

So what else separates this bag from "the pack"? Is it merely the understatement of the python trim? Is it the almost sinfully plush tactile interior or woven velvet texture? Is it the color itself, a color that hints at the most extravagant essence of peach, orange and Monopoly money? Is it the precision of the stitch work?Is it a synthesis of all the different design elements?

Is it all or none of the above?

Sue Devitt's Eye Intensifier Pencils Give Your Eyes That Smudged Look!

Honestly, I think I have tried every eye pencil that's out there. For the past few years, I've been using Sue Devitt's Eye Intensifier Pencils. They're amazing for that smoky smudged look around the eye. As Terry Barber ( director of makeup artistry for Mac Cosmetics) said in last Thursday's issue of the New York Times Style Section..."The look is coming home from the party, not going out to the party". This is very exciting news since that's been our look for years. My eyeliner is always smudged or smeared and not on purpose. Now I'm in style with my disheveled eye makeup!!!

My three favorite Sue Devitt color pencils are: Golden Triangle, Laos (bronze) and Gold Reef. In fashion, what once was old is almost always new again shortly after, in the form of resurrected trends and updated takes on failed fads.
