I have been clubbing since 17. that’s when I was still underage.

How can I enter the premises when I was still underage? The answer is simple – my dad brought me

The first time he tried to sneak me in was when I was 14, when my first puberty signs were showing, a.k.a the bulu).

Then how? failed lah of course. We laughed together and went back home. “Your bulu is not thick enough hahaah” my dad said.

I still remember the first drink I had—Tequila Pop, followed by few glasses of beer. Confident rise to roof top and girls looks prettier. I walked like I have 50 inches chest and 6 packs. Confident gao-gao I tell you.

Not only that, my dad also taught me the 5 Commandments in drinking (or rather, night life). I remember every single commandments and practise them until today. I am sharing with you today.

1. Do not act like a jerk – You are in control of your emotion, not emotion control you.. If you did something wrong, do not use alcohol as excuses – blame yourself.
2. Do not pick fights – You don’t be a tai lin ngong and go start a fight, you’ll never know what card that guy has in hand (literally). If fights happened (related to your friend, or just a brawl fights) avoid at all cost. Run bitch! runnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!
3. Only fight – If your woman was involved in fight (uiyoh, your woman very garang o lin si!), e.g. the guy slapped or punch the girl. You have to be act tough even if you’re balls is like shaking like a peanut. If the guy points a gun at you—you MUST NOT run (but don’t die la for the woman la… unless she’s your mum)
4. Calm – remain calm at all time, this shows men’s masculinity and confidence, don’t shout like a girl when shit happens (run away like a women too).
5. Drink slow – enjoy the process, this is not competition. You pay alcohol to make yourself miserable, what’s the purpose?

P/S Driving tip from uncle: You can drive fast, but only do it on familiar roads. But the best option is of course drive safe la..)

Now, let’s talk about my mum.

My mum also hang out with my dad all the time (only stopped at recent years, age finally caught up hahaaha). They used to be clubbing couple. My mum taught me a few tricks too, mainly on drinking ethics and what woman like in men (hehe). But the most valuable lesson I learn from her was How To Get Drunk—The cheap way. Here’s how:

1. Drink beer with straw
2. Sit under fan

Don’t play play, these two tips looks very simple. But I really saved a lot money with this method lo. This method really works.. hahaha. However, I only used this trick few times – real men drink beer with big gulps. Hell yeah

What is this post about?
In summary—Mr.Lau had an urge to watch the fireworks celebration in KLCC ended up in a racist attack by a group of teenagers. It was posted on Facebook.

According to Mr. Lau, he and a friend of his planned to go join Merdeka Eve celebration at KLCC, they walked through well lit place and was attacked by a group of Malay teenagers. They ended up with injuries and no one cares about them, to make it worse—the teenagers says “Baliklah ke negara asal”

Mr. Lau even had problems making a police report.

This shows how inefficient the government bodies are in handling these racism problem. I know, racism is happening in every coutries, and it’s difficult to banish them completely.

However in my opinion, we should 大事化小，小事化無. Life is too short on hating someone.

Remember guys, this is only a minority of people are causing troubles. I believe 99% majorities are harmless and we all wished to live in harmony. Don’t get agitated easily and revenge on 99% of them. Remember, most of us are harmless.

Lastly, I would like to wish all Malaysian a Happy 53th Merdeka. Our freedom did not come easily.

Malaysia is my home and I love this country

Hin Ching suggested we have lunch at Karamunsing Capitol today. There are some new restaurants there so we decided to check it out.

We decided to go Fatty Chef Cuisine restaurant.

First thing that comes into my mind when I stepped into the restaurant…

“Wah, sei loh. Why so high class wan!? This place is going to be damn expensive… Okay la, die then die la, I want to enjoy this meal!”

The ambiance is also amazing—I immediately feel like a millionaire when I stepped in.

“Only yau chin lou visit these restaurant” I said to myself. Hahaha

If I have the chance, I want to look at the chefs… are they really all fat fat one?

We talked about the menu design, it was good. But we found something funny, if you go visit next time, look at the first page and last page of the menu, got gwai lou one! The images were taken from internet hahaha. Two nerds sit together, sure got funny conversation

“I want to order Hainan Chicken rice, don’t feel like eating oily food today… wait, RM15 for Hainan Chicken rice ah…. okay la” (hand trembles, cold sweat from head)

(Truth: spend too much on clubbing last month, this month have to cut back expenses)

Kelvin joined us… he looked at menu… look back at me…

We both smiled

What to do… we have not reach that level of income yet. However, we can easily pay hundreds for alcohol, but not proper good food. Silly KK people. hahaha.

Hainan Chicken Rice – This is what I ordered. Amazingly, the food awesome, totally out of my expectation. The chicken is juicy and chewy, and the rice is fragrant. Presentation is good. I reckon we can only get these kind of taste with great ingredient – in this case, chicken.

We get what we pay la I guess. I thoroughly enjoyed the dish ^^ I haven’t had such a good chicken rice for quite long time..

Ayam Percik with rice – Kelvin ordered this. According to his review, he says it’s pretty good. I asked him to elaborate more, he says:

“The sauce is satay sauce loh… okok lo… nice ar… and everything is up to standard. But leh, the rice is small portion la. other than that, everything is good.”

Another satisfied customer, I assume

Lemon Chicken rice – Hin Ching ordered this. He is satisfied with the dish as well, the only thing he complaint was the rice was a bit hard.

Normally, in other restaurant, they fried the chicken in whole piece, then only cut into little pieces and add lemon sauce. However, in this restaurant, they fried the chicken separately, so each pieces are 100% crunchy on the outside.

3 of us are very happy. Total bills comes up with RM52.

They have wide selection of desserts too, looks tempting! I will visit this restaurant again -specially for the desserts. Siapa nak ikut?!

Serves no pork! No oink oink!!

I was invited to Hyatt Ramadan Buffet, to do food review.

Well, you see… I am not really a food blogger—I just like to to take photos of good food and share with you.

I do not share lousy food on blog, waste my time only lousy food do not deserve to get free publication. Which also means, the food I blog here is good.

I am fortunate to get invitation from Dinoza to attend Hyatt’s Ramadan buffet. “Ah Bing! Come we go makan with other KK food bloggers!” he told me on phone.

“Buffet? OKAY confirm come!”

…. then stupid Bing had big meals 3 hours before buffet *totally forgot about the buffet*, I end up tasting instead of feasting T_T

So here are some photos to share with you.

As you can see from the photos above, the food is not limited to Malay cuisine only—they serve different cuisines to cater in-house guest and western customers who some prefers western food. Even dim sum are served.

The price—slightly on the pricey side, but that’s hotel price mah, confirm got standard one. However, I keep comparing to SHOGUN buffet at Semenanjung Malaysia.. hahaha.

The dining area were jammed pack with hungry customers by 6:30pm. Make sure you come earlier, or make reservations, because seats are limited.

Food quality, I really don’t have to say much lah, Hyatt is a world class hotel, of course they are able to hire excellent chefs. Got standard one, ok?

“Lin si, you want to go try out authentic Indon food ma?” Joey asked.

Joey is a new friend I recently met. We are lucky to meet each other through blogging, and she just recently moved to KK. Here’s Joey’s blog.

“Why you call me lin si oooooooooooo” I asked.

“Isn’t that how KK people call each other?”

/faint hahahhaaha.

BTW, Joey refers me as “…a famous blogger from Kota Kinabalu” in her blog. I am famous!! Wohoooooo! *syok chin-chin*

This how the restaurant looks like. Very nice right? I love the ambience. It was very quiet when we arrived. We even laughed at ourselves for making reservations. But it was packed around 7.30-ish. Malay family dine late, I guess.

If you prefer to sit on chair, you have to sit outside, without air-con room. Shoo shoo.

One thing I like about this restaurant is, they provide long tables to accomodate family of large members. They serve mostly Malay customers and Malays tend to have larger family members. For me, this is perfect for large gatherings – especially class gathering, but without alcohol.

The Husband, Kenneth (yes Joey’s married) offered to pick me up because I don’t know the exact location. It’s not a restaurant per se, more like a kediaman rumah modified into a business operating platform.

This is the exact location of D’KL restaurant.

Drinks we ordered—Air Serai and Soda Gembira. Air Serai is lemongrass juice, very rare in KK. You must try!

Joey ordered Soda Gembira, which is air bandung (rose extract) mixed with evaporated milk and soda, if not mistaken lah. I am very senkalin one, I guess everything

And these are the foods we ordered.

Kangkung Belacan

Ayam Bakar Taliwang – A bit charred, but I guess that’s how padang food suppose to taste like

Ikan something something with young mango. lol.

Ayam Penyet – I have to mention the effort they put in their food. Look at the presentation of the dish! Each cabbage are rolled individually, amazing details!

Cumi Goreng – Guess what is cumi?

Tauhu Telur – I seen this dish at food show before, never thought KK has this dish! I love deep fried tauhu, kesyokan chin chin.

Nasi Putih Kemgembiraan Maksimum – damn cool dish name, and yes I added this myself. It’s not available in the menu haha.

Guess how much all of these cost?

RM75

That’s considered cheap in KK standard. Seriously. With the great ambience, great food, helpful and friendly staff, we couldn’t get anything cheaper than that.

On top of that, I am lucky to have companionship with Kenneth and Joey, which makes it even more perfect. What a great night

D’KL have successfully convert another satisfied customer into their list. I’ll be coming back again.

This is my best buddy, YSLo. We are the biggest guy within our circle of friends, and yes—we give the best hugs. The best thing is, our hugs are free (only first 3 minutes lah) When you need a hug, you know who to look for.

Anyway, this post is not about promoting our hugs. It’s about the bulu on my face.

Yes. I am referring to my janggut.

You see, I’ve been shaving my janggut since my hormone activated many years back then (means my bulu started growing lah), and managed to remain “clean-shaved” from the start.

I once grew my janggut during university studies, but my girlfriend give me the what the huack dead-glance all the time. She prefers I shave my face clean-clean, like baby ass.

I cannot put my face close to hers if I have janggut, she says very geli. So I shaved it off.

It was 4 years ago since I keep my janggut (and different girlfriend liao ok)

Today, Ah Bing 重出江湖.

Shit man, the more I look at myself—the deeper I fall in love with myself.

What the huack hahahahahha. Don’t curi curi wash my photo and put in your wallet ah! Hahaha.

So, what inspires me to grow janggut?

My cousins – they grow janggut like me (same grandfather mah). One have been growing for awhile, and relatives question me.

“Ah Bing! why you don’t have janggut wan?”

“Got loh, mine grows like Osama bin Laden one leh”

“I don’t believe you!”

(2 weeks later)

“Nahhhhh.. I didn’t shave 2 weeks, and my janggut is longer than your ketiak bulu liao!!”

Cousin: WOHHHHHHH *impressed*

“I am going to keep it” I announced

Elder relatives: HARRRRRRRR

I had to keep my janggut—for one sole reason. I look much better, and I attract more girls. HEHEHEHE

“Bing, can you rub your janggut on my face? /shy” a girl ask.

“Sure, I’ll try to do it gently…”

This phenomenon look remained for a month, until I get bored with my look. And also I get few critics from elderly, they say I cannot keep my janggut that long because my parent haven’t pass away *touch wood*

Haha, but on a serious note la. Keeping janggut really attracts some attention one *perasan*

So I decided to do something different. I started playing with different types of janggut “designs”, I did every design with normal blade shaver.

Yes, believe it or not.. a 7 years old shaver. I must have mad skillz man. call me Mr. Fantastic!!

Whenever I have a lousy design, and accidentally over-shaved… I start from scratch—I shave every single bulu on my face, and restart. I’d say probably takes me 3-4 days to regrow my janggut.

For the time being, I am keep this style. No complaints from relatives, and I love the fact that no rice stick on my janggut anymore. Hahaha.

Ouh. I am so sexy.
