Atlanta History Center Hires New Chief Development Officer and Chief Content Officer

Beloved nonprofit Atlanta History Center is approaching its 100th anniversary next year. And with this preparation comes expanding its executive team. Pola Changnon has been selected as the center’s first-ever chief content officer. This year’s showhouse is a thoughtfully crafted cottage that blends style and function in all the right ways. Designed by Serenbe Planning + Design with interiors by Mister + Mrs Sharp and built by South Haven Builders, this warm and inviting home is tucked into Serenbe’s newest neighborhood, Spela. The elegant four-bedroom home will feature the work of 12+ talented designers and include a curated pop-up shop, making it a must-visit for anyone who loves great design.

Parking for the AH&L Serenbe Designer Showhouse is along Serenbe Lane in Spela. Please look for parking signs and avoid private resident parking.

Serenbe is located in beautiful Chattahoochee Hills, only 25 minutes southwest of the Atlanta airport. Enter the Serenbe community from Atlanta-Newnan Road, turning onto Selborne Lane. Proceed to the 3-way stop in the Crossroads neighborhood and turn left onto Tabb Way, then right onto Serenbe Lane. Follow signs for parking and continue through Mado and Overlook neighborhoods; as you enter Spela neighborhood over the bridge, the 2025 Showhouse will be on your left.

ADAC West gained a delicious new addition. Led by chef Kevin Rathbun, Krog Bar – Coal Fired Pizza is now open. Formerly located in Atlanta Stove Works in Inman Park, the original location closed in 2020. A reimagining of the original Krog Bar, the new spot focuses on coal-fired pies, salads, house-made sandwiches, wine, and cocktails. Proceeds from the 2025 Cashiers Designer Showhouse will support The Cashiers Historical Society, dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of the Cashiers Valley. Located two miles south of the Cashiers Crossroads on NC 107, the five-acre campus contains four historic buildings that help tell the area’s history. Throughout the year, the Cashiers Historical Society offers educational programs for a range of audiences about the history and culture of the plateau. Additionally, the grounds and walking trails are open year-round for visitors.
