"There are emotions that you cannot fix in your mind, because your heart is still building them. And there are cities that you cannot picture in the mind of the others, because they will miss chaos, dust and smells. My Aiesec experience is full of these emotions, and Dhaka is one of these cities. It is a problem of connection between my beating heart, my overcrowded mind and my crazy fingers on the keyboard.
Thus, I really would like to try to fix in your mind one of my heart’s memories: bumping into Professor Yunus introducing my-self in Bangla (“Amar naam Matteo, amar desh Italy”), driving a rickshaw with the rickshaw’s wallah in the back, , shooting as a real actor in a French/Bangladeshi movie, shouting like with Bangladeshi supporters during a World Cup Cricket match, speaking with one hundred poor women collecting their dramas and their dreams, playing with slums children running behind a knit with holes that could not fly (but –do not tell them-, they were trying, and singing, and smiling, smiling and smiling) or telling you the story of Sabhina, 12 years old, slums girl, that hides (to her father) a small buttons business to earn 60 TK per day and buy cosmetics. I really would like. But the right way to calm my heart, mind and fingers it is ripping out randomly a page from my experience diary and paste it.

THERE IS NO SUCH PLACE AS FAR AWAY (because differences make you different)

The Danish girl, the major sister, she’s blonde but walking in the street her hair became a respectful golden chador. She introduced me to the healthy world of Oats. She left, but the flag of Denmark lives in our flat. I love her business card, with the yellow network of world cities visited.

The Japanese girl, the cartoon one, she asked me if all the Italian are “funny and hot” like me, I didn’t ask anything because –now- I know the answer to an old doubt: what we see and call “Japanese cartoon” are for them simple sit-comedies and reality shows. She loves chocolate.

The Austrian girl, the pretty daughter in the family TV spot who -with blonde curly hair and green eyes- pushes you to buy something that your daughter doesn’t need. Dhaka doesn’t offer anything, even she’s the only one that comes with me, we practice night-urban-trekking, English lessons, wi-fi fishing and Lonely Planet’s updating.

The Hong Kong guy/1, the mountain with a tender heart, he’s big as much as he’s good, I would like hug him every night before sleep, he’s really in love with his girlfriend. He’s watching “Love Actually”, and for sure he’s thinking about her.

The Hong Kong guy/2, the chinese metaphor, serious-folk-clever-hardworker, he’s a big eater –like China- that will eat all of us. He’s really in love with his girlfriend, very often I listen him and it’s incredible how love makes nice a frigid language as chinese.

The Japanese guy, the other half of the apple, he’s my exact opposite and for this we are a magic couple, he’s polite, he respects the rules, he doesn’t joke with the girls, he speaks few but he’s always right, he’s constant. His girlfriend is beautiful, and he loves her. He’s watching “Titanic”, and for sure he’s thinking about here.

The Indian guy, the Indian metaphor, young-dreamer-smart-still inexperienced, he’s full of hopes and –like India- there will be a better future for him. He’s 4th dan of Karate, he practices transcendental meditation, he will introduce me to meditation because I have to be quite even if the tea-seller asks me 10 taka for a cha that costs only 6. He said that he started to love Bangladesh “only after knowing me."

First trip to Europe

"I am 20 years old from Mumbai, India. This internship in AIESEC Torino was my 1st trip to europe and i was going all alone to a country where i didn't speak the language. But the warm hearts of the italians won me over. I had a life changing experience and discovered myself again. I made new friends and i found love. Even now when i think about all my experiences i have tears in my eyes because they were the best 8 weeks of my life.

The local committee of Turin is awesome and has many crazy and fun people.

One of my best memories of italy is of falling in love. Sharing my experience with a handsome italain boy was a dream come true. I would love to go back to turin and meet my friends. Many of my friends have also visited me in india.

I learnt how to speak some italian and my students in the schools also taught me so much about the beautiful country called Itally. I was a person who hated pizza cause of dominos and pizza hut. But in Italy i ate pizza and gelato almost 3 times a week. Even now i miss the authentic italian food. The grocery store near my house and the polite "grazie" of the sales staff.

I was crying every morning a week before i had to leave. All i wanted was to live in Turin for the rest of my life. After being pampered all my life by my parents and grandparents (indians have big families) being alone was refreshing. Despite all the silly things that went wrong it was perfect in my eyes.

If only i could rewind and go back to those two months. See my friends, meet my love and eat lots of pizza.

If I need to describe my experience in 3 words I would choose : challenge, deep personal and professional growth, emotions.

1. Why go on exchange?

AIESEC exchange was the best mix of personal and professional growth, I got to know incredible people from all over the world, I share ambitions, dreams, problems and I had a lot of fun. I had real and big responsibilities at work and I could prove myself in different areas of marketing and sales. I made great friends and I know they are for life.

2. What added values has exchange provided to your career?

My long term career goal is to be an entrepreneur, to own a business doing everyday what I like the most and continuously learn. When I picked my internship I had that very clear in my mind, and I chose to join a very small company in Holland. I took the responsibility to expand their business in Italy. In one year I open a new market, put the basis for it to work In the long run in a sustainable way. I achieved my goals and contributed to the opening of the company in more than other 3 countries. Exchange experience has been crucial to get closer to the achievement of my professional goals, a big step forward in my ambitions, a key factor in my learning and development. I’m moving to the next level now and I’m ready to start my own business in few months from today.

3. What did exchange teach you?

The AIESEC exchange helped me to strengthen my will power and ambition. It made clear to me what I want to do and achieve, it taught me one more time to never give up and go for what I love, because in the end it pays off.

I see exchange as the key in understanding your limits, overcome them and follow your life path.

AIESEC makes your dreams come true......!

This is the best sentence to express AIESEC internships! I was dreaming of something new, something challenging and something unique and finally I got it. "Eleonora, you've been selected for MAC MILLAN CANCER SUPPORT!!"

My exchange experience started in July 2008. I took the flight to Manchester, took the train to Sheffild and then I started my new adventure! I was working for an NGO that helps people affected by cancer and search for funds for medical research.
Well, I was thinking: "This was the best way to have a positive impact on society!"

When I arrived at the airport I was already feeling at home - an international team was there waiting for me.... giving me 3 special presents:

a dairy to write everything about my experience
an umbrealla (that was my best friend, considering the weather)
some candies

What a better way to start?

At work everything was great from the beginning: I was working in the fundraising office and my main responsabilities were to organize event with a team. It was really amazing. I had the possibilty to organize a Midnight Run, a special Jazz night, a painting competitionsons. The biggest Event that we organized was The BIGGEST COFFEE MORNING - an event run in all England in the same day and we raised more the 7 million pounds. This was really a special day all over the city, there were logos of MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT. This event gave me the opportunity to met a lot of people, interview businessman and understand how companies are doing CSR in England. I had the deep and professional working experience ever.

It's really not so easy to talk about three months of special journey in just few words............ I gained a lot professionally but this is just half of the experince cause the personal side gave more. I was in England and I had the opportunity to live with people from China, Korea, Germany, Poland etc.... sharing ideas, thoughts, personal life, enjoy participation each day.

"My SIBERIAN DREAM

Soon after having obtained a master degree in interpretation and translation, with Italian, French and Russian as working languages, I suddenly realized that entering labour-market nowadays is kind of a difficult process to go through. Language knowledge is no more sufficient to take a good job for granted, as far as working experience is especially needed. Where could I put into practice my skills?

AIESEC was the right answer for me!

It offered me the opportunity to work in a russian enterprise not a simple trainee, but as a real employee, a member of the staff, and a sort of good new-old friend for all my collegues. I had the chance of meeting a smart and clever person, my director, from whom I learnt a lot. From the professional point of view, these are the advantages and the emprovements this Management traineeship gave to me.

But I consider the working part as one half of the whole meaning of my X-change period. Starting from the first minute, after landing in Siberia, up to the last morning at the airport on leaving day, I went through an unforgettable life experience, through which I received some very precious gifts: first of all, the people I met there, the hospitable and generous Siberians, with whom I shared some unique moments of happiness, and who helped me face all sad times and difficulties all along as well. Nothing would have never been the same without them, and I will never thank them enough, everyone of them knows how much they mean to me.

This is what I got from this internship: these two months have changed my life and opened my mind, making me discover the beauty of a country and the deep soul of its inhabitants."

"COLORFUL TWEEZERS

Sticky and stinky trains, creams in which put hopes, different continents that say hello insulting me, delay as long as endless trip, fans never off, incomprehensible sings.

Three eyes that stare me behind corner of rainbow; clouds that, even in the same sky, won’t reach you. Old small tower to shoot the tigers today drowned by waters wisely moved from henna hairs; owls, antelopes and hidden crocodiles. Colourful faces unknown until yesterday just became safety, t-shirt that slept on walls surrounded by enthusiastic eyes so different from ours. Hindi songs and German eco, the unsteady English of too-young moustache that rejoice per white spots on a picture. Jeep get stuck in the mud, floors that become beds, hands become forks, bag-packs become pillows, strangers become friends.

Writing on an irregular roof, by sweaty hands of a faraway sun, with principles of meditation on one side and my first Indian smile that go through and smile. Alone, by choice, to taste the silent and count the knots in my dream’s threads, brushing them to melt the bigger, in vain. To look at naked wrist and intact bookmark, without finding the soul of brick house. The Australian accent that changed my life that sing and hang out. I don’t know where I am, I smile.

AN ORDINARY SATURDAY

A hot that I’m not able to stop.
Polish hand on a camera, traces of a night on the roof in my head. Projects.
Indian music screen the noises of mad fans that barely slice thought the air.
Unsafe green gas pipe and ants that go crazy because of the smoke of a mosquito repellent.
Noisy lids and fixed washing machine. A new song, my future piano. Orange and brown follow each other on my arm with a fresh tattoo, bottles full of sweat. Spanish accent that climb the stairs and become stronger.
My hands that softly hit the keyboard pushed by nothing. Phone call with the shining blond smile, Colombian goodbye hugs... and usual delays."

"A dream came true!!!!!

When I decided to do an intership with Aiesec I just wanted to go away from my city, try to do a good experience and trying to take the best from a new life abroad. I choose to go to Istanbul, in Turky cause i was so excited to go and to visit and to "live" in a so amazing and fashinating place.

I immediadetely felt in Love with the City, this strange athmosphere that involves you completely from the inside; first of all I was a little bit scared because of the enormous differencies about culture, religion, language and so on, but i could realize that Italian people and Turkish are very similar for a lot oh things; that's why now i can say that I still have a lot of friends there, and my Turkish friends say that I am self Turkish :)

The places were so beautiful, the food, the culture, people, everything was just like a DREAM. I am so happy now cause i did for sure the best expereince ever in my life. I had the opportunity to know a place that is now in my heart, and it will be there forever, to meet a lot of people that are like brothers or sisters for me, to work in a great Company with an extraordinay team work... so what can I say...just a Dream came True. Responsibilities: "Modern Art Demonstration" project, organization of festival of Modern Art and International Culture.

"It’s hard to explain to others what my internship means for me. Even if it’s almost passed half-an-year, I constantly think about that experience and how proud and happy I am to have chosen AIESEC in order to live an International program.

Living for 7 weeks in such a different place like Russia totally changes my way of seeing the world around me. Siberia is totally different from Italy, but I understood that, besides of history, language and cultural differences, we have all the same feelings, wishes and thoughts.

When I went abroad I was just an Exchange Participant of AIESEC, with no experience in any team works or leadership positions. "Modern Art Demonstration" project gave me the chance to believe in myself and be proactive in everything I do. I became also more confident with my strengths and weaknesses. So my internship was mainly a challenge to develop myself.

"MAD" project was created to let grows the conception of art in Siberia and to create an international environment in the third city of Russia. Thus, "MAD" project was my challenge of cultural meeting in Novosibirsk, capital of Siberia, centre of the Russia, meeting point of European and Asiatic culture.

Thanks to my internship I can say to have extended my friends’ network and it’s not a matter of numbers but it means that I have friends around the world with whom I keep in touch almost everyday and I know that they stand by me in every moment. One by one, they gave me a little piece of their world and with all of them I’ve built mine.

Once, one of Russian AIESECers told me the sentence that, I guess, represents my internship the most: "Don’t be a quitter, than no matter what happens… believe in it and keep going on… the fruits always come at the end of the summer."

After my summer and my AIESEC experience in Russia, I can say that the fruits are born and I lived the best experience ever. Thank you, AIESEC!"

"Hi everybody, I’m Emanuele from Venice. I participated to Social Business Program Artemisia in Brazil, which aimed to develop social business start-ups. We were 13 in all Latin America.

My project was about a microcredit institution: Banco Pérola. I’m graduated in Statistics and I’m glad I could use my knowledge to help them develop their company. When I arrived they had 12 costumers, nowadays more than 30.

What impressed me the most it that the purpose of my work was completely different. I was coming from greedy Europe, where what every company does is just maximizing their incomes, and in that moment I was working in a bank which didn’t want to make money! Their main purpose was to help as much people as possible. And I assure that when you wake up in the morning, it makes a difference to work for such a goal.
In normal life, when you need a loan you dress up smart and go to a bank. In the microcredit world, the bank comes to your place, and you can share a cake while they try to solve your problems.

Life outside work hours was even better: Brazilian people are just awesome. Their main proverb is “a gente da um jeito”. Don’t worry, we’ll fix it. They never get angry, and if they do, after two hours everything is solved. They really know how to enjoy life, and one of my key learning points was that you don’t need money to do it. You just need some friends and, if available, music and cachaça.

After internship and during weekends, I took some time to travel. AIESEC network gave me a huge help, because in every city I could meet some people to host me of show me around. But in particular I’m thankful to AIESEC in Sorocaba, my host LC, because they dedicated me so much time and effort and, especially, they helped me not to feel alone even if I was 10,000 Kms far from home. With the other interns, we were like a family, doing everything together and supporting each other in times of homesickness. Now I’m still in contact with them, and I realized the world is much smaller than we think.

My discovery is that I learnt to always challenge myself. If there are two roads, take the less travelled one. There will be more difficulties but it will lead to a much more interesting path. I could have just started working in a whatever company in Italy, but I chose this other option instead, and I will remember this experience for all my life. "

"I AM LIVING MY DREAM..

Working in Turkey was my biggest dream and it came true thanks to AIESEC. It has been the best experience of my life for many reasons.

1. I have never been so happy and enthusiastic in all my life. Sometimes I feel like crying thinking of what I am surrounded by here.
2. I proved to myself that if you work hard and if you really believe in yourself and in your dreams you can get them.
3. I have grown in self-confidence and I have learned how to be a good teacher, how beautiful is to work close to people from every part of the world.
4. I learned how great is to discover day by day such a historical, deep, colourful and unique culture as the Turkish one is. How amazing and exciting is to communicate speaking Turkish; when you realize that now you a part of here.
5. I learned that, even in a very different country, some new friends can become your family and make you happy with their smile and pure friendship.
6. I understood that a country can change your life forever, leaving a deep sign in you.
7. I experienced also how hard is to understand some radical points of view, when you cry seeing some people burning another country's flag, or listening to someone who declares the inferiority of women...feeling so disappointed... but afterall I understood that the things that make me love this country are much much more than the few things that i don't like :)

AIESEC changed my life, giving me the best present of ever.
So every day when I meet my students, when I learn from them every feature of this culture, when I dance with my Turkish friends, when I drink raki, when I speak Turkish, when I listen to Sezen Aksun singing about Istanbul, when I look at the Bosphoros ...I FEEL ALIVE like I have never felt and I reach what I usually call "my pick of happiness".

"My AIESEC Exchange experience was good. Sometimes hard and difficult, but finally great!

I could learn many things and it was useful for me to grow up. I knew interesting and amazing people that I will never forget. But first of all, I could know a wonderful country, its language, culture and traditions that now are part of me and my life!

I could feel my self as a part of one single world, without any racial, cultural or religious differences.
I learned the importance of the tollerance and how an open-minded context can get you richer!

"Hello,My name is Gabriele Ragusa, 23 years old, from Catania.

My project where i was working during my internship was called “Ready, Steady… World!” in AIESEC Poland, Local Committee Krakow. This project was perfect to me. Going to schools and present my culture was interesting, enjoyable, excited. I spent days full of love, happiness, peace. The students gave me a lot of love and affection, the teachers were friendly and very nice ! I will always keep them on my heart! I am deeply moved about all the hospitality and the love received so I would like to thank AIESEC Krakow!

How was my Aiesec Exchange ?? An incredible and unforgettable experience, full of memories!

It was a beautiful challenge: I had to talk in front of around 40 students, I had to catch their attention, their interest. I wanted to make known to their my home-country in a creative and entertaining way. I believed I’ve won my challenge and exceeded my limits.

Now I have many friends in Krakow…they love me, I love them! But now I have also many friends in all the world: India, China, Russia, United States. It has been one of most beautiful experience of my life, that allowed me to exceed some my fears and doubts about my skills.

What was my discovery during the internship?

I discovered that you have to pay attention and listen to people who are nearby, each have a story to which you can learn.
I discovered that I'll never stop to follow my dreams.
I discovered that you should never give up when faced with difficulties. NEVER GIVE UP!
I discovered if I give a smile, will receive two ones back.
I discovered that you must always live at most. No regrets.
I discovered how much good it feels to love and be loved.
I discovered I must always follow my feelings.
I discovered the power of an hug.
I discovered how beautiful it’s to respect others.
I discovered how much good it’s to live in multicultural environment.
I discovered: Life is beautiful. I don’t want to waste my time.

I came back and I discovered so much new things. I’m a new person.
I am really able to hug the world from all the point of view!

I’m Russian and I’m 22. Scared by definition of leadership and idea of entrepreneurship, by public speaking, by negotiations and selling, I joined AIESEC in 2007 attracted by the opportunity to go on professional and cultural internship abroad. On the first Regional AIESEC Conference with 200 delegates from 5 different cities and facilitators from different countries I was inspired by desire of young people to change local environment through realization of projects based on global issues. I admired the stories of recent graduates who were going in developing countries for establishing social businesses there.

Now I’m in September 2010. During 3 years in AIESEC I was working in area of External Relations, making fundraising for our projects, I was Alumni Relations Manager, than in a team with 7 other people I was leading 130 members in AIESEC Local Office in Saint-Petersburg, taking care about marketing materials development, on-line marketing, internal communication and information management. And currently, I’m working in Milan in National Office of AIESEC Italy, living the most exciting experience in a team of 9 people from 3 different countries. Together we are leading 600 members in 17 Local offices around Italy.

Why am I in love with AIESEC? Because AIESEC is a dynamic environment, where everyday you meet new challenges for which you need to find a solution; where success of you actions depends not only on your personal effectiveness, but on your ability to lead other people; where everyday you can learn and develop in a different areas by being involved in a range of activities in network of 50000 people in 107 countries.

With AIESEC I had opportunity to organize 2 conferences, lead different teams, deliver trainings for 300 international delegates, visit different parts of Russia, Switzerland, Turkey, India and Italy. But what is the most important for me, having bachelor in financial management and finishing study in psychology, I discovered a real area of my passion that is graphical design. And AIESEC is a platform for me where I can get professional experience in this area even if I don’t have education background in it.

My dream is to have social business that is supporting development of art activities, aimed on solving modern global issues. And thank you, AIESEC, for made me believe that this dream easily can be the truth.

I joined AIESEC 15 months ago. I have been LCP. I am part of AIESEC Italy MC team as VP Public Relations.

It's said that practice make you perfect. the theory is: the most you think as a manager, the most possibility you have to become it. The more you are able to be cold facing difﬁculties, fast in decision, cynic in implementation... the most it will be difﬁcult in doing it in a different way.

AIESEC gave me the chance to be brave in taking risks, inclusive in listening to people's opinions, open to inputs. AIESEC let me start thinking about ambition in a people oriented way.

Through my small and fast AIESEC experience I gained something more about the "half full and half empty" glass. I learned that You are the one who decide where is the line dividing empty from full. Always. This is just the representation of your approach, of your will to change the world, of your desire to go one step forward, beyond appearences and limits. Sometimes you just want a drops, sometimes you feel is never enough. You are the one who can change the world. You feel it. You are the one, but you are nobody without people.

Your actions are senseless without communicating them, your decision are useless without being agreed by the people you want to be the leader of.

After these 15 months of experience I am still striving to fulﬁll my glass. The empty part is the opportunity of growth. There is always something to make better. There is always something to make the world WOW.

My reason why to do AIESEC is to make to be part of a bunch of people who can create a "World of Wonderfull". NOW.

Smell of new wood, cleaned and empty table in the middle of the living room, fixed beds with comfortable mattresses, large hot shower, perfume of cleaned kitchen... just cooked food is missing, but granita with water melon has been an excellent option!

What is MC team talking about? have we moved AIESEC to a furniture company? No, this is just a picture of MC new house..the last picture we are taking in this exact moment!

The process of building this picture has been something really connected with ambition, commitment, resilience..and never ending stories. AIESEC is always about this..it's a matter of alignment, maybe.

Now all the world can have the opportunity to discover where MC team has been in the last 15 days and What were these 20 years old guys doing 24 hours a day!

Can you imagine the process of moving one office with 50 years of archive inside and 12 people still working there?
Can you imagine the process of moving an house habited by 12 people to a flat just in one day?
Can you imagine the meaning of scratching 4 rooms walls and floors from marble and ceramic to remove paint and glue?
Can you figure in your mind the painting process directed by a 22 years old girl? Do you know how to put together IKEA stuffs? How to clean house?

We didn't think to be able to do recycling even if it was 20 hours that we were doing the same movement to spear paper form plastic to trash archives folders. Here we understood the meaning of commitment!

Was it easy? It wasn't.

Was it fast? Maybe, in average..

Was the goal achieved? It was!

Now that everything is over we all are talking about this double moving with a smile on our face, and we all know that it has been one of the most exciting, unique, unpredictable experience we could have done during our term as Leadership Body of AIESEC in Italy. Which experience can bring you closer to your team apart from sit on a dry floor scratching glue or do a human chain from dusty underground without lights? Is there anything that can give you more trust on your teammates then to stand under lot of kilos bed bearing it and waiting for others to fix it?

Picasso said, "if you paint, close your eyes and sing".

It has been a process of inspiration, poetry, fantasy, dream.

What about now? we are sitting in the middle of the house, feeling a comfortable sense of happiness.

What motivated us to do all this fatigue was the commitment to bring AIESEC Italy Member Committee team a better house for the future, to save money to pay International Conference in India (www.ic2010india.org/) and to have a higher quality everyday life during all our term in order to provide an higher level of work to the organization and to better develop ourselves as people.

Just once we had moved everything we realized..once, 15 years ago, 75 MC full time members ago and hundreds people sleeping over there for AIESEC necessities ago, via Andora was avery good place, big, lightening, with a wood parquet, 3 stairs to be lived ad corners to be discovered.

For this reason, MC AIESEC Italy decided to adopt a motto for this year, at least: "Not to have in our house something you don't consider useful, or you don't see as beautiful" (W. Morris)

Now is official, MC team has a new house, and it has been built almost all by its own hands because house in nothing more than a projection of the self, and furnitures is the indirect shape of self cult.

This is the 1st celebration we have had as MC team, in the middle of moving, transition, event we stopped and went out to have fun together and celebrate. Actually it wasn't a celebration of a partnership, it wasn't the celebration of an achievement, tangible neither untangle, but something more. Something that reminds us which is the main asset, the main important element of our experience. People. And behind people, every single person.

This 29th of June is Chiara's day. All together, as friend more than teammates, we wished Chiara happy birthday! anything else than some drinks singing to the sky... or in Ligabue style... screaming against the sky...

There has been a time to dream, the time of fears and excitements, the time of drawing a path and starting the 1^st step to walk on it. AIESEC Italy has dreamt for one year. Finally, this is the time to wake up and discover that it has become true.

AIESEC Italy has reached one Goal, maybe the most important. Maybe not. Maybe this has been just the first step to start thinking bigger. We just know one thing for sure; this year, in less than 12 months we have changed more than 245 lifes. We have had an impact on 245 young people who have had the chance to discover a new corner of the world. New people, new cultures, new faces, new foods, new jobs. We are generation of achievers

Here starts the second big news of the week that concern MC team..and all the people from the network who are just waiting for November and for Application to MC to be released!

This week MC of AIESEC Italy has finally discovered its new office. After 15 years of via Andora life style, this is the time in which AIESEC Italy is reaching another planet.

Coffee machine just outside the office, one big table for all the 9 of us, wall made of glass, a lot of companies around and the world outside that seems to be there just waiting for us to be conquered.

Then more, MC team has met EBBF co-founder, the President of Supervisory Group, Doct. Beppe Robiati, in his wonderfull house. We have met there one of the future managers of Lush and we have spent some hours talking about Corporate Social Responsibility and adventures around the world. Were you aware of the fact that Congo is importing all its vegetables from South Africa and just producing them on place they have been able to build schools for children paying just 1$ each? Were you aware of the fact that China is starting building 30 cities for 7 million inhabitants each giving tender procedures to foreigner companies, between which there are also italian one? Do you know that in order to allow this buildings million of people living in the country are forced to go away? ..We dream...

Sometimes change happens

Group is growing. Minds are dreaming. MC team is setting bases to shape history.

2 weeks of Transition are gone.

They have been 2 weeks of hard listening and big chatting, ordered discussions and great outcomes creation. We have gone through all the situations of our Local Committees, we have allocated coaches for them and we are all ready to make our Network growing and performing.

How will we? Motivating, directing, inspiring, supporting, aligning and rewarding our entities... in one word: Coaching! (Thanks Daniele De Lorenzo, directly form L'Orèal for the amazing Master Class done. ; )

Will we succeed in the strategy?

Will we be able to give you all the needed support?

Will we establish the best AIESEC in Italy ever?

Will AIESEC in Italy be relevant at the end of the next term?

We wondered, we dreamt and we came out with a purpose to be able to answer back: YES! Our answer has been a smart idea for letting LCs planning but most of all... we are ready to shape the common idea of National Projects… we will show it at National Conference "FACS" in Palermo... and everybody will be fashionated! It's almost a promise!

Sometimes change happens...

This is the title… because change happens! And AIESEC Italy is changing, growing everyday in term of numbers and improving in term of quality. What has been our achievement this week?

In term of numbers we, as a netwrok, have let 19 people leaving for an international internship abroad and other 19 interns to come here in Italy to discover italian country, to discover italian people and to share their own experience. We are changing life offering life changing experiences.

In term of quality... we have finally revolutioned the idea of MC life. It is one week since MC is working in BLEND TOWER, a glass skyscraper in the center of Milan. High Quality AIESEC XP! COOLness will be one of our Pillar ; )

Before starting a new week of work, let's open a window on Mauritius Island and say Hello there to Yulia Dmyterko, actually MCP. All the current and elected team AIESEC Italy is proud of having worked with this crazy and amazing girl. We are happy to know that MC Team days will be paid by her there… who knows, maybe it could become true..!
