Super Contemporary opens at Design Museum

Last night we attended the (rather well attended and rather poshly lubricated) launch party for the Design Museum's new exhibition, Super Contemporary.

The exhibition is a celebration of all things London and all things design. There's a timeline running around the exhibition space from 1960 to present day and various creative luminaries have made works specially for the show.

Alongside all this is a project to map London in a way that is personally meaningful. For Airside, this meant doodling over the section of map given to us, showing cheese shops and ad agencies and bike routes and picnic spots and clients and... and...

The exhibition runs until 4th October and is definitely well worth a visit. Plus the location of the Design Museum is fantastic and there's a battleship nearby.

As part of a series of talks related to Super Contemporary, we'll be doing a talk there on Friday 24th July. For details of tickets and listings, please click HERE.

Shown here: a small section of Airside's map, the whole map, and Anne interacting with Paul Smith's bunny bin.
