Set Wireless Router as Access Point

Due to the bad performance of my ZTE MF608 modem+wifi router to transmit wifi signal, I planned to use my wireless router, TP-LINK TL-WR543G as an access point. I was using this router before for my PPPoE "caller" for telkom speedy, but now speedy is no more here T___T. I miss its unlimited high-speed internet. :(

Ok, back to main topic, I've actually faced the same problem with speedy. But the solution is different, because with speedy I can use their ADSL+router as an ADSL bridge, so the available router is just the wireless router. But with this modem, I can't do that. So, again, I have to google it.

There are a lot of tutorials and articles out there about turning a wireless router into a wireless access point. From all of those articles, a lot say that wireless router is cheapter than an AP, so many people prefer to buy it.

The main thing in setting a wireless router as an access point is not to have double DHCP servers, avoid double NAT, and to use wireless router's LAN port instead of the WAN one. Ok, here is the step by step instruction, and I'll use my TP LINK as an example:

First, decide which DHCP server you want to use, the one in your modem router or the one in the wireless router. I myself choose the second one, because my wireless router(I'll mention as AP from now on) DHCP manager has more features such as address reservation and DHCP client list. It's just a matter of preference, after all.
Now, log in to AP's web-based manager. You just have to plug a cable into your computer and plug the other end into the LAN port of the AP, or just connect to the wireless, if you've configured it before(this is the case for me). Usually, the address if http://192.168.1.1 or similar. If you're not sure, just open cmd, type ipconfig /all, and see the 'Default Gateway'. Usually it is the login address.
If you choose your modem's DHCP server, you have to turn the AP's DHCP server off. Usually there is a menu for DHCP, either in advanced setting or LAN setting. Just disable it. However, if you choose the AP's DHCP, configure the IP range. Usually it's just 192.168.0.100 - 192.168.0.199
Then, change the AP's local IP address. I found it on the LAN option on my AP. Change it to be on the same subnet as the modem, but outside the DHCP range. Suppose the modem's IP is 192.168.2.1 and the DHCP range is from 192.168.1.100 to 192.168.1.199, then change the AP to 192.168.2.10 or similar. Usually the AP will reboot itself.
Now, for the WAN setting. Choose static IP, and fill the IP address with one you'll never use, but outside your subnet. For example just use 10.10.99.100. The important thing is to set the Primary DNS to your modem's IP.
Next, if you use your AP as the DHCP server, you have to log in to your modem's manager, then turn off its DHCP server.
Finish! Just connect your modem and your AP with a cable. Remember to plug both the ends to LAN port. Never, ever, use the WAN port.

It should be done now. Test your connection by pinging your modem(e.g. 192.168.2.1), your AP(e.g. 192.168.2.10), and a website(e.g. www.google.com). If they all "answer" you, then you're ready to browse the web again!

Setting "Show Hidden Files and Folders" via Registry

Today, in the school, my friend wanted some help from me. He asked me to showing his hidden files or folders he saved in his USB Flash Disk. He already setting it manually via Folder Options in Tools > Folder Options, then he choosed Show hidden files and folders, but it's didn't work. Well, I remembered that there is another way how to setting it, via registry! I ever do that on my mom's notebook, but I forget where I should change the DWORD data for showing hidden files and folders.

Than, when I arrived at home, I was very confused how to do that. So, i tried to googling, but I didn't find how to set it exactly like I did on my mom's. Finally, I tried to FIND IT MYSELF through registry editor, and I found it! Yeah, finally, I remember how to do that. From the very start, I also remember that I ever made a script to do that in batch file, but I forgot on which computer I saved it and on what folder? But now I remember, so here is how to do that

First, open Run... dialog by choosing start menu --> Run, or press Win + R

Then, type regedit or regedt32, then press enter
Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
You will see a value name "Hidden" in this key, if not, make a new one by doing right click --> New --> DWORD Value, than type "Hidden" for the name (caSe SenSitiVe)...
From here, there will be 2 options...

1 - if you want to show your hidden files and folders, just change the data of Hidden to 1, you can do that by doing double click in Hidden value, than change the data and press enter
2 - if you want to hide it, you can change the data to 2, you can do that by doing double click in Hidden value, than change the data and press enter

Now, check in Windows Explorer, your files or folders that hidden must be visible if you choose option number 1, and invisible if you choose option number 2.

Ok, that's it guys...

And for make it easier, I also make a script like I told you before in a batch file (.bat file). I will share it soon after I totally finished making the script. I also hope I can write the script in VB6...

Painting the complicated drawing

Today, I did my usual activity, go to school. Today subject was Computer, Biology, Art (Painting), Arabic Language, Math, and Geography. Well, I'll start from Computer.

My First subject today was computer. I learned how to lock a cell in MS Excel today, which it's make easier to run a same operation with one cell from many different cells. Then, I learned about human grow in biology. I'll tell you about Art later, much to tell in this subject ^^. In Arabic language subject, something good happens today. What is it? It's a delayed test! Yeah! Actually, my teacher really wanted to had a test today, but because time problem, it's delayed! I think I lucky I have Art today, because if it isn't Art today, the test will be begin.

In Geography( I won't tell you about math), we had free hours, so I can used it to continue my painting job, like my friends. In this painting job, we have to draw a picture with in a canvas (kanvas in indonesia) with 60x75 size. And to make it easier, we don't have to draw it alone, it's 2 people pair (is my english structure true, 2 people pair?). My team draw a shukaku, an one-tailed monster in Naruto series. Even my teacher told us to draw in 60x75 size, but my friend told me to draw in 60x80 size canvas, he size to make it easier (because the ratio is same with the shukaku picture we want to draw, so we can imitate it easier). Well, I agree with him.

But now, I don't know, but I think our picture is too hard to paint. Because the picture is too detail. Even, my friend in my team who draw it, who known as "genius in drawing" said, "It's hard to paint. I'm very afraid. The picture I draw is too detail." Then I said to him,"Maybe it's better if we change our picture. Let's buy some new canvas and draw another picture, an easier one." Then he said,"Are you crazy!? Did you know how much we paid for the canvas and also the paint!??" But, in other time, he also said that it will better if we change the picture and canvas. So, we're planning to change the picture, if it's possible.

Ok, that's a few story about today. Now, I have to do a little homework for tomorrow. I wish tomorrow will be better from today. And hope you're not boring to read my boring article ^^.

This chapter is still about Naruto who is fighting against pain, the leader of akatsuki. As you know, in the previous version (ch 436), pain is hiding on mountain near konoha, together with Konan. Now, the villager of Konoha is searching for Pain. In other side, Naruto is almost done with Pain. Actually, he well lose if there isn't Hinata with him. Yes, Hinata is helping naruto on his battle, then she was killed. Killed Hinata make Naruto angry, so he's showing again "the real him", the 6-tailed fox!

When Naruto showing that, Neji and his team (Lee, Guy, and ...) is back from their mission. How the fight will be, with the 6-tailed Naruto and Guy's team there? Plus Konohas villager try to finding pain? Let's wait the next chapter!

Today, I go to school on 6.30 a.m. I'm afraid I will late. But luckily, I arrived at school about 1-3 minutes before the bells ring. And because today is wednesday, I must pray Dhuha with my friends before class started. So, I went to the mosque to do that. Then, I study like usual.

Today, I have english subject. Something special happens on my english subject today. Why or what is it? Well, not too special but I think it's important. My teacher told the entire class to practice english more. She told us to write diary, every day, with english. It's to make our english better. Because, our english wasn't good enough.

So, from now, I will write a diary like this in my blog to practice my english. You can see how bad my english with this diary, right? I want to make it better, so I will write a diary like this. I hope I can fix my english with this.

Sekarang saya kembali ke aktipitas skulah sperti byasa...
Hu hu, tapi kayaknya kug nilaiQ hari ni jelek2 gto ya.........

Abis gimana lagi, nasib emank nasib, aku minggu kemaren pas hri snen kan gak masuk tuh, sakit! Jadinya, ya aku banyak gak tau gitu lah tugaz2nya... Ada juga yang tau but blum slese, soalnya tugaznya di lembaran gitu kan, but aku gak dapet lah, orang gak masuk...

Tapi, yah, kurasa hari ini cukup bagus buatku untuk introspeksi diri, karena kayaknya minggu2 ini q banyak maen2 nih.... Mudah2an setelah hari melelahkan yang nyebelin ini, aku bisa lebih maju! Amiin! Semangat JIM!!!

How To Download File from Rapidshare with IDM

Hey guys, back again with me.

Now, I want to tell you some tricks for one of our favorite download manager, Internet Download Manager. Guys, have you ever try to download file(s) from Rapidshare.com with your Internet Download Manager?

If you ever, I guest you have a problem. IDM won't download the file, I guest? It's just saved as an HTML document. Oh, SHIT!!! But, don't worry, I will show you how to fix the problem.

Here how to download file(s) from rapidshare.com with IDM :

1. Go to whatever rapidshare link you want to download to
2. Select free user, as always
3. Then, after the countdown start type "javascript:alert(c=0)" (without quotes) in your adress bar
4. Now you see, the countdown must be go to 0, right? You can see the Download Image now. Then, you must wait for about 20 seconds before you go to the next step!

From here there is 2 way. Try another one if one of this way is not working.

Way 1 :

5. DO NOT click the image. If you click it, it won't download the file, it will just show a page that say "Your browser doesn't support javascript" or whatelse is it. Just view the source of the page.
6. Search for form name="dfl" in the page source. Near the form name="dfl" you must see the download link. Just copy the download link and paste it manually to IDM via "Add Url" Option.
7. Gotcha! Now, you will see that IDM download the file normally like you download without IDM. It's simple, doesn't it?

Way 2 :

5. Click the download image. You must cannot download the file like usual, right? You will just see "Your browser doesn't support javascript" page. It's ok, it's good.
6. Just look the address bar of your browser in that "Your browser doesn't support javascript" page. Than copy the link in the adress bar an paste it to IDM manually via "Add Url" Option.
7. Gotcha! Now, you will see that IDM download the file normally like you download without IDM. It's simple, doesn't it?

Assalamu'alaikum wr. wb.,

selamat datang di situs sederhana dari Muhammad Aji Muharrom. Aji Muharrom adalah seorang manusia (ya iyalah) yang saat ini sedang menduduki bangku sekolah MTsN Malang 1. Hobinya adalah membaca komik dan berkomputer (menurut anda, hobi burukkah itu???).

Dia, (muhammad aji muharrom) dilahirkan di Malang, 27 Mei, 1996, sama dengan penulis (ya iyhalah, orang penulisnya emank sama). Perjalanan hidupnya dimulai dari bersekolahnya dia di TK Anak Saleh, kemudian dilanjutkan ke pendidikan sekolah dasar di MIN Malang 1. Setelah lulus, dari MIN Malang 1, dia melanjutkan pendidikan di sekolah menengah pertama tepat di sebelah sekolah lamanya, yaitu di MTsN Malang 1.

Di MTsN Malang 1, dia mencoba untuk memasuki program akselerasi (itu lho, program SMP 2 tahun gila itu!!!), yang ternyata berhasil. Sehingga, saat ini, sperti yang udah dikatakan di atas, dia resmi menjadi salah seorang murid MTsN Malang 1.

Laki-laki yang biasa dipanggil "ajim" ini mulai bergelut di dunia komputer saat dia mulai kelas 6 SD di MIN Malang 1. Entah apa yang merangsangnya untuk bergelut di dunia perkomputeran dan tekhnologi (karena si ajim ini juga lupa kok!), tapi akhirnya saat ini dia sudah sering berkomputer terutama di dunia internet.

Oh, akhirnya inget juga sejak kapan mulai terangsang berkomputer, yaitu sejak si ajim ini mendapat fasilitas internet speedy di rumahnya. Ya, sejak itulah dia mulai bergelut di dunia komputer hingga saat ini.
