It sounds like the people of Mati have been refreshed and rejuvenated after the tiresome midterm election experience in Mati City when E.R. Supermall brought celebrity guests in celebration of their 2nd anniversary. Almost 6,000 people [ E.R. avid customers] gathered and had fun in one celebration.

E.R. Supermall, a homegrown company owned by Pang family, staged a 4-hour concert with big stars such as Jaycee Parker, Maui Taylor, Jake Cuenca, and today's generation and most loved teen star Kathryn Bernardo. The crowd was also entertained by the prime hilarious comedians from Davao City Kenita and Bebang who happened to be my friends.

I personally thank Pang family especially to Jr Pang and Lyn Pang for accepting my service as the production director. To the rest of Pang family, my heartfelt gratitude for introducing Mati City to the mainstream through the mentioned celebrities.

It is not my first time to mount a program with stars and this is the easiest program I have handled but I cringed a lot because of excitement and feeling of satisfactory that I have served not just for ER but for the people of Mati - my hometown.

While watching the stars and hearing the crowds roar, I realized how far Mati has gone through while slowly accepting the modern culture. Had it not been for this prominent family, everyone will just be dependent on what its leaders could give. I hope, matinians will continue to patronage and avail the services of ER supermall and the superstore.

Soon, investors will come. Malls will be pouring millions to compete. To the matinians, let us be grateful of the growth our city may come but let us not forget the spirit of helping our very own ER who has been with us for many many years.

Happy second anniversary ER Supermall. All the best. Long live!
Copyright 2006-2011. All contents provided by Alberto P.

PROTEST. Angry Taiwanese fishermen set fire to Filipino flags during a protest in Taipei on May 13, 2013 against the shooting to death of a local fisherman by Philippine coastguards. AFP PHOTO / Mandy CHENG

Angry Taiwanese fishermen burned Philippine flags in protest Monday, May 13, after the Philippine coast guard fired on a Taiwan fishing boat killing a crew member.

Philippine President Benigno Aquino called for calm as tensions escalated between the two countries over last week's incident in which the 65-year-old fisherman was shot dead.

Hundreds of fishermen wearing yellow headbands and chanting "Justice must be done!" and "Killer must be punished!" hurled eggs at the Philippine de facto embassy in Taipei, which was guarded by dozens of police.

Aquino said Monday that the embassy in Taiwan was in talks with Taiwanese foreign ministry officials and had assured them an investigation was being carried out.

"I think it is in the interest of both parties to proceed in a calm basis," Aquino told reporters. "We are proceeding in that manner."

The Philippine Coast Guard admitted on Friday, May 10, to firing at one of four Taiwanese fishing vessels that it said had strayed into the country's waters.

Taiwanese authorities said more than 50 bullets hit the 15-ton vessel, and fisherman Hung Shih-cheng was killed.

The victim's son, who was with his father and two other sailors on the boat at the time, has insisted they did not cross into Philippine waters.

Prosecutor Liu Chia-kai described the incident as "nothing but a slaughter," after examining the boat after it was towed back from sea.

Taiwan's government has come under pressure from the opposition and the media to take action.

Aquino declined to comment on demands by Taiwan at the weekend for his government to apologize for the shooting and pay compensation to the victim's family, or face a potential freeze in sending Filipino workers to the island.

There are about 87,000 Philippine domestic helpers and other workers in Taiwan, who send home hundreds of millions of dollars a year.

Taiwan at the weekend sent four coastguard and naval vessels to protect its fishermen in waters near the Philippines.

The Philippine government said on Sunday that Antonio Basilio, head of the Philippines' defacto embassy in Taiwan, had visited the family of the fisherman and "extended condolences and apologies".

Aquino said he did not want to comment further, preferring to let diplomats handle the dispute.

"If we comment on that (at the presidential) level, we guarantee the issue will escalate," Aquino said.

The incident comes at a time of heightened tensions around the region over rival claims to the nearby South China Sea.

China, the Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia and Brunei all have competing claims to parts of the sea.

Taiwan has ruled itself since 1949, but China still considers the island part of its territory.
The long wait is over. The people of the Philippines have to choose once more their leaders. May 13 is a significant day. It is when we exercise the essence of People's Power. After this day, I am hoping this country would have a pure and perfect combination to rule the pearl of the orient.

Yes, I only have eight senators to endorse. I believe the warhead of these magic 8 can turn the sinking ship to its normal state. They can already move mountains towards the betterment of this country. I have 4 just to complete the 12 candidates but I am not sure of them.

Here are the senatorial candidates that I recommend and whom I believe can make difference for the next few years. Let us not forget, our vote is our voice.

My senators.

1. Teddy Casino
- is a party-list representative of Bayan Muna. He is currently serving his third term.
He is the chairperson of the House Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship

Development.

Born
on Nov. 15, 1968, Casiño finished his elementary education at the De La
Salle University (DLSU) and finished high school at La Salle Green
Hills. He finished college at the University of the Philippines Los
Baños with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. In 2002, he was accorded the
UPLB Distinguished Alumni Award for Extension.

Casiño is a former
president of the College Editors Guild of the Philippines (CEGP) and
was a member of the Kilusang Mayo Uno and the Bagong Alyansang
Makabayan. He was appointed commissioner of the EDSA People Power
Commission but was removed for constantly criticizing the
administration.

He also had a short stint as a reporter in ABS-CBN’s Hoy Gising and The Correspondents.
Casiño
first joined the House of Representatives in 2004 as representative of
party-list group Bayan Muna. His party again won party-list
representation in 2007 and 2010.

Casiño is the principal author of
4 laws including The Public Attorneys Act of 2007, The Tax Relief Act
of 2009, The Rent Control Act of 2009, and The Anti-Torture Act of 2009.

2. Edward Hagedorn

A surprise addition to the senatorial race, Puerto Princesa Mayor
Edward Solon Hagedorn has been a public servant for over 20 years.
Hagedorn first served as Puerto Princesa mayor from June 1992

until June
30, 2001 and again on November 2002 until present. An independent
candidate, Hagedorn said he decided to run for senator since he is on
his third and last term as mayor.

Hagedorn was born on October 12,
1946 in Paranaque, Rizal. His parents were Mr. Alexander Hagedorn and
the former Miss Gliceria Solon. He is married to Ma. Elena Marcelo, and
blessed with two children Eva Christie and Elroy John. He studied in San
Sebastian College-Recoletos and University of the East in Manila.

Hagedorn
served as mayor of Puerto Princesa City in 1992 and at the same time
served as Representative of League of Cities of the Philippines, Region
IV; Member of National Executive Board of Boy Scout of the Philippines;
and Assemblyman of Southern Philippines Council for Peace and
Development.

He is credited with transforming the city as a major
eco-tourism destination and model in environment protection. Puerto
Princesa is a Hall of Fame Awardee for being the cleanest and greenest
component city in the Philippines and has been given national and
international awards and recognition for various innovative programs.

Hagedorn
was supposed to end his third and final term on June 30, 2001. He ran
for governor of Palawan that year but lost in the election.

However,
the Supreme Court made a landmark decision to allow him a fresh term as
mayor after winning in a special election called by majority of
barangay Officials on September 24, 2002.
Hagedorn was the subject
of a biopic titled "Hagedorn" played by the late actor Fernando Poe Jr.
in 1995. Hagedorn was appointed by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo as
anti-jueteng czar in 2005.

3.Risa Hontiveros

Former Akbayan party-list Rep. Ana Risa “Risa” Hontiveros-Baraquel was
an accomplished broadcast journalist for ten years before becoming an
activist.

Risa was only 15 years old when her sense of student activism pushed her to criticize the operation of Bataan Nuclear Plant.

While
still an undergraduate student in Ateneo de Manila University, Risa led
various groups advocating peace from 1988 before working as a broadcast
journalist.

The Kapisanan ng mga Broadkaster ng Pilipinas
eventually recognized Risa, the older sister of veteran news anchor Pia
Hontiveros, as Best Female Newscaster in 1994.

Risa also served as chairman of the government panel for peace talks with the National Democratic Front from 1998 to 1999.

This
earned her a nomination at the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize six years
later while still continuing to be active in campaigns advocating
women’s right, and good governance.

In 2004, Risa secured a seat
in the House of Representatives as the third nominee of Akbayan
party-list group, which held countless gimmicks exposing corrupt
practices during Arroyo administration.

She became a single
parent after her husband, Frank Baraquel, suffered a severe asthma
attack in 2005 and left her with four kids.

The staunch critic of
former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and her husband easily won her
reelection in 2007 mid-term elections.

As a congresswoman, she
filed bills on Cheaper Medicines Law and the Comprehensive Agrarian
Reform Program Extension with Reforms (CARPER) Law

She also filed
legislations against prostitution, gender balance, as well as Students'
Rights and Welfare (STRAW) Bill before losing her senatorial bid in the
2010 presidential elections.

If she were not in politics, Risa
would probably pursue a career in theater. As a talented singer, she
once played as one of the Von Trapp children in the Repertory Philipines
production of the Sound of Music with Lea Salonga, Monique Wilson, and
Raymond Lauchengco.

4. Chiz Escudero

Senator Francis Joseph “Chiz” Guevara Escudero developed a talent in
addressing big crowds while helping with the local campaigns of his
father during his teenage years.

From 1984, Chiz helped organize
the congressional bids of late Sorsogon Rep. Salvador “Sonny” Escudero
that helped him realize he wanted to enter politics at the age of 22.

His
family did not allow him to run for municipal councilor and mayor until
he finished law at the University of the Philippines.

Chiz
waited to pass the Philippine Bar Examinations in 1994 and obtain a
Masters degree in International and Comparative Law abroad in 1996
before finally running for Congress in 1998.

He served various
positions as a congressman, became campaign spokesperson for Fernando
Poe Jr., and was one of the few who favored the impeachment of then
President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

In 2005, he voted against the
dropping of impeachment complaints against Arroyo, maintaining his
position in 2006 that paved the way for his election to the Senate in
2007.

The roles he played in the House of Representatives like
House minority leader earned awards like becoming one of the Ten
Outstanding Young Men of the Philippines.

As senator, he heads
the Senate Committees on Justice and Human Rights, Joint Oversight
Committees on Ecological Solid Waste Management Act, Joint Congressional
Oversight Committee on the Clean Air Act, and Committee on Environment
and Natural Resources.

Chiz was the only Filipino named as Asia
News Network's Asia's Idols in 2007 and was honored by the prestigious
World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader in 2008.

He has
also authored or sponsored 149 Senate bills, 63 of which have been
signed into law including the Anti-Enforced or Involuntary Disappearance
Act, Anti-Torture Act, and Free Legal Assistance Act.

Escudero
also said he has acted upon all 645 bills referred to his committees,
and that his Priority Development Assistance Fund has been used to assit
regional hospitals and construct public markets all over the country.

5. Peter Cayetano

Senate Minority Leader Alan Peter Cayetano knew he wanted to be a public servant as early as 13.

Seeing
how his father – the late Senator Renato Cayetano – work with people in
the district of Taguig, Pateros, and Muntinlupa inspired him to study
political science and law.

His experience as a councilor in the
University of the Philippines’ student council helped prepare Cayetano
to choose a career in public service. He then went on to be a councilor
in Taguig at 22.

But Cayetano’s early achievements eventually
earned him detractors, who derail his proclamation as vice mayor in
Taguig until only 10 days before his three-term in office was due to
end.

His short tenure as Taguig vice mayor in 1998 then convinced Cayetano to run for Congress, where he served for two terms.

A
minority member, Cayetano was among the prominent congressmen who
exposed various scams, standing up against First Gentleman Mike Arroyo
during the Arroyo government from 2001.

His advocacy against corruption helped him to win a seat in the Senate in 2007.

It
was under his chairmanship that the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee looked
into the anomalous deals on NBN-ZTE, Fertilizer Funds, and cash giving
in Malcanang against President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

He also
chaired the Senate Committee on Education, Arts and Culture, which
helped pass the University of the Philippines Charter Act of 2008.

As
chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Information and Mass Media,
he managed to pass the Freedom of Information bill in the Senate during
the 14th Congress.

Continuing his commitment on transparency and
accountability, Cayetano managed to file at least 14 bills like
proposals to amend questionable provisions on the Anti-Cybercrime Act
among others.

When the youngest minority leader in the history of
Senate is not thinking about politics, Cayetano takes time to fill his
room with collectibles of his favourite basketball players - Michael
Jordan and Kobe Bryant.

6. Bam Aquino

Paolo Benigno “Bam” Aquino IV is an entrepreneur running under the banner of the Liberal Party.

A
registered voter of Barangay San Jose in Concepcion, Tarlac, Aquino
filed his Certificate of Candidacy for senator on October 5, 2012.

Aquino
said several people urged him to run for the Senate including Sen.
Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan and Gawad Kalinga's Tony Meloto.

If elected, Aquino said he will concentrate on finding employment opportunities for fresh graduates and help alleviate poverty.

The
35-year old is a first cousin of President Benigno Aquino III. He is
the son of Ninoy Aquino’s youngest brother Paul and his wife Melanie.

Last year, Bam married his girlfriend Mary Fatima “Timi” Gomez in Tagaytay.

The aspiring public servant was named one of the Ten Outstanding Young Men in the Philippines in 2012.

Aquino graduated summa cum laude from the Ateneo de Manila University in 1999 with a degree in Management Engineering.

Bam--named
after the character “Bambam” in the cartoon series
Flintstones--graduated valedictorian in grade school and in high school
at the Ateneo de Manila.

At 25, Aquino became the chairman of
the National Youth Commission, the youngest person ever to head a
national government agency.

In 2006, after his stint with
government, Bam established a program that helps female
micro-entrepreneurs get better incomes for their families. This is what
is now known as the Hapinoy Program.

7. Koko Pimentel

The son of former Senator Aquilino “Nene” Pimentel Jr. has been active
in various socio-civic and awareness campaigns during his life as a
student.

His advocacies did not stop him from graduating with
honors from Ateneo de Manila University and University of the
Philippines before topping the Philippine Bar Examinations in 1990.

The
younger Pimentel also became a professional lecturer in De La Salle
Professional Schools, University of the East, and Far Eastern University
until 1994.

These got recognition from President Fidel V. Ramos,
who appointed him to represent Mindanao to the National Youth
Commission from 1995 to 1998.

While working as a lawyer, he also
co-anchored several radio programs before deciding to join the
senatorial race in the 2007 mid-term elections.

Pimentel suffered
a defeat from then Bukidnon Rep. Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri, who managed
to secure the 12th slot with a narrow margin of 18,000 votes in a
recount held in July 2007.

Complaining he was cheated in
Maguindanao, Pimentel went to question Zubiri’s proclamation before the
Supreme Court that eventually dismissed his petitions.

After four
years of protest, Pimentel won the recount in the Senate Electoral
Tribunal, which forced Zubiri to step down and made him as the 12th
legitimate senator in August 2011.

Pimentel then assumed to chair
the Senate Committee on Electoral Reforms and People’s Participation as
well as the Senate Select Oversight Committee on Suffrage.

He
has established the Kontra Pandaraya Movement to ensure that every
Filipino will be protected from all forms of cheating and corruption.

He
has also advocated strongly for local autonomy, environment, Overseas
Filipino Workers, youth and justice in his 1 year and 5 months of
sitting as senator.

8. Sonny Trillanes

Before leading a group of soldiers in 2003 Oakwood Mutiny, Senator
Antonio Trillanes IV grew up as a simple kid playing in the streets
Caloocan City, where he was born and raised.

Known to many as
Sonny, he was a keen student who commutes to and from Sienna College in
Quezon CIty from 1975 to 1983, and Angelicum School from 1983 to 1987.

After
graduating with honors in college, Sonny became a household name in the
country for facing charges in both military and civilian courts for the
rebellions he participated like Manila Peninsula siege in 2007.

But
that did not stop the former Navy officer to become the first person to
be elected to Senate while launching a campaign behind bars.

In
2009, Sonny was criticized for allegedly being “the biggest spending
member of the Senate” with claims that he spent P8.1 million during his
first six month in office.

After years in detention, the neophyte
senator got his freedom back after receiving an amnesty from President
Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III in 2010.

During his first term, Sonny
ranked fourth in the list of most productive senator in terms of the
number of bills and resolutions filed in the Senate.

He filed a
total of 729 bills and resolutions, 29 of which have been passed into
law like the Archipelagic Baselines Law, and the new Armed Forces of the
Philippines Modernization Act among others.

Sonny, who
co-authored the Cheaper Medicines Act and Philippine National Police
Education and Promotions Act, promises to continue his efforts in
education and healthcare reforms in the Senate.

He also vows to
prioritize the legislation of more anti-corruption and anti-poverty
measures as well as laws that will improve peace and order in the
country.

Sonny takes a break from his work in the Senate by
playing tennis, basketball with his friends or taking his family out to
dine in Filipino restaurants or watch movies.

These 8 picks, for me, can drive the ship already in promulgating laws for the general welfare of the filipino community.
Copyright 2006-2011.

It could prove to be one of the deadliest and costliest conflicts in
recent history. North Korea has the fourth largest Army in the world
with over 1 million soldiers while its neighbor South Korea has roughly
about 600,000 troops. The United States also has a contingent of 30,000
military personal stationed in South Korea and is obligated to protect
South Korea in case of an attack.

There have been many reports that in the event of a
North/South Korean war the United States would use low yield nuclear
weapons. Another factor in play is what China's repose would be. Despite
economic reforms China has been an Allie of North Korea for decades.
Although the US and South Korea would eventually win China could most
certainly be wary of expanded US influence along its border might very
well intervene on North Korea's behalf.

Lets just hope that it does not happen! :) It is truly a completely different situation since the Korean
war where the South Koreans were massively out numbered and lacked the
weapons to stop the massive push from the red army whom used their huge
army literally as meat shields. The modern war is won with economical
power and technological might not with human meat shields.

The
former is a first world country while the latter is a 3rd world country
comparable to Somalia who's main avenue is from selling obsolete soviet
era weapons they developed in the basement to other 3rd world countries
and narcotics.

South Korea which has the 12th
largest economy in the would would be brought to its knees. Millions of
Korean refugees would try to enter China, the world economy would take a
huge hit and oil prices would most definitely sky rocket. There would
be utter destruction and chaos on both sides of the peninsula. The
Korean War had roughly 3 million deaths which is astronomical. Couple
that with today's modern weapons and you could easily get a number 3-5
times that.
Although North Korea is
technologically inferior to South Korea and the United States its will
to fight is not. The North Korean military is very well trained and
disciplined and many experts predict they would fight to death such as
the Japanese did in World War II. North Korea spends a vast amount of
its GDP on weapons and its military and has nearly 10,000 hidden
artillery pieces pointed at Seoul (South Korea's capitol). North Korea
has also been preparing for an invasion by the United States and South
Korea for decades and they have built many hidden bunkers and and under
ground tunnels underneath the DMZ in preparation for an attack. Not to
mention that North Korea is believed to have a small contingent of
Nuclear weapons which it could detonate in South Korea, Japan, or any
other country it sees fit.

Secondly I truly doubt the where the morale of the
current NK army stand and its actual supposed numerical threat since its
army is very poorly trained, under equipped, and with the current
spread of digital technology more and more people in North Korea
understands the corruption that is the North Korean government its just
sadly they do not have the power to fight it (I can bet you more than
50% of them will desert their positions and run to the Chinese border or
the South Korean border for freedom once a serious war happens). Versus
an army armed to the teeth defending their capital (imagine Washington
sharing the border with Iran. scary ain't it?). Consider poor poverty
stricken farmers with sticks what they call guns versus healthy, well
trained and highly motivated troops.

Military tech wise South
Korea is on par or even surpasses the US in several areas; mainly
ballistic missile technology, Nuclear technology (South Korea HAS
capabilities to produce nuclear missiles), fighter jets (the South
Korean variant of the F15k is the only fighter model in the world to be
more advanced than the original US fighter), submarine/Aegis class
destroyer technology (one of the only reasons they do not build nuclear
subs is because they are not suitable for defending the shallow Korean
shores (they are too loud and nuclear subs are designed for blue water
navies) and also because of American political pressure) and lastly
mobile artillery technology. Currently the only things keeping the
Korean military back from being truly scary is political pressure from
the US (nukes, ICBMs, nuclear submarines and aircraft carriers are all
not allowed!!! How annoying, how are they going to scare the Chinese and
Japs away?) (One of the examples are Korea had to outsource the rockets
to Russia to propel their satellites to space because US prohibited
them from developing that technology fearing they might use it to
develop ICBMs, truly a pain in the ass I have to say)

If a war
does happen NK's nuclear arrays, artillery, radar will all be wiped in a
second with South Korea's enormous barrage of ballistic
missiles/counter artillery/Marines (second larges in the world next to
US)/air strikes etc. NK's anti air defenses will be wiped out and South
Korea's massive number of 3rd generation MBTs, IFVs, Soldiers will just
blitzkrieg into the entire country in a couple of days. NK's navy?
laughable with mainly small subs and patrol boats suitable for a hit and
run tactic (does not work in a true all out war). NK's air force ?

More
like a joke with aging pre soviet era jet planes with barely any parts
and crew training. NK's massive number of special forces (behind the
lines assassination and infiltration which is very lethal since South
Koreans and North Koreans look the same and speak the same language so
they are very very hard to detect once they are across) and nuclear
weapons are the only threats South Korea currently faces.

(BTW South
Korea's capital IS COVERED with defenses I mean one of the most secure
in the world so no worries about civilians they have precise evacuation
procedures and bunkers (though no longer practiced much) ) Then if by
any chance the war get prolonged then just keep this in mind, most of
Korea's weapons are indigenous developed meaning in wartime all weapons
can be mass produced much quicker than any countries can supply plus

South Korea has one the largest ship building industry, chemical plants
in the world and at a moment's notice can mass produce warships,
ballistic missiles and the chemical plants that produce perfumes can be
changed to mass produce biological/chemical weapons within 4 days of the
start of the war. Nuclear weapons can be produced in less than 3-6
months into the war. Also if you count in the massive man power reserves
it is very hard to beat.

On national TV, the host, producer and creative director Willie Revillame berated Ethel Booba and Ate Gay for the hot conversation they had inside the dressing room. Willie said, Ethel got mad at him after tagging her as Anne Curtis for all we know, Anne is facing a no-panty scandal now.

Ethel accordingly told Willie that hundreds of netizens twitted her about that green joke while Ate Gay was questioning Willie why they didn't win the best in costume game in today's episode.

Willie, as the GOD of the show, stopped the game show for a moment prompting Mariel and the rest of the ladies walked away from the stage. To listen. To ask maybe why.

Netizens are attacking now Willie Revillame for being so unprofessional. For being too rude in addressing issues. For being an unlawful GOD. For reprimanding the stars I consider myself as BIG stars. Ethel will always be ethel. Everyone knows him. Ate Gay, on the other hand, is rising! He is even being compared to Vice Ganda. Not to mention his successful concert at the Araneta. Is this what Willie called "Tinutulungan ko kayong umangat. Dapat marunong kayong tumanaw ng utang na loob!".

"Mag isip kayo kung saan kayo galing. Ako ang nagpapasweldo sa inyo". he insisted.
YOU DON't DO THAT TO ME" .....yeah right.Amalayer? Watch how he shamefully berated the two comedians.

A commercial hub in Davao City that is called the Matina Town Square has upgraded its look and added new international players in business industry from food chains to salon. Its roads and commercial building have upgraded too. No doubt, Davao City will reshape its image.

There is one commercial business that struct my attention. It is LOFT Salon and Nail Lounge. It is the only business unit that is operating on the new second level of MTS commercial building as of this writing.

A perfect timing for me since I needed to brush up my hair and cut it off. My past weeks seemed to be strenuous so I need a pampering hand. It is my tradition to cut my hair whenever I feel groggy due to my nature of my work. Study shows that cutting your hair in a comfortable salon is one way of stress management.

Loft Salon is one of the newest players in MTS and in all fairness, this elegant salon is at par of what we called salon of the professionals. Not to mention its comfy nail lounge and ambiance, you would surely enjoy making yourself king and queen with loft salon.

I noticed also that they are using international brands and imported medicines for hair. This does show that loft cares quality. Whatever the service fee is, it does not matter anymore, you deserve to be beautiful and handsome. For me, the secret of having a happy life is having yourself pampered and well cared of first.

Hey, by the way, Loft Salon is giving away a 10% discount to all of its services, just cut the salon's print ad on sunstar newspaper or visit MTS, second level, now!
Copyright 2006-2011. People of Russia near in the incident area were astonished at first seeing a huge fireball over Southern Russia. Witnesses thought of a meteor shower that will just pass over earth and they were shocked when it was striking towards them.

Window glasses and windshields blew out when the meteor exploded causing 250 people an injury, wounds and cuts. Watch the CNN and the RAW video for more details.

This happening has drawn a question to me and to thousands out there. Is earth not SAFE anymore from foreign invaders such this?
Copyright 2006-2011.

Bombo Radyo reported that one woman died in Mandaue Cebu City when her partner's penis was accordingly locked inside her also known as vaginal lock. The lovers , export processing workers, were having sex in a lodging house in Guizo,Mandaue City today when the incident happened.

The doctor refused to disclose their identities after they were brought to the hospital. Sadly, the woman was declared dead on arrival.

The first time I heard this phenomenon was the time when Philippine young celebrity Shaina Magdayao was involved in 'Vaginal lock' rumor along with his ex-bf John Lloyd Cruz who were accordingly rushed to the hospital last 2010.

Vaginismus or Penis Captivus very known as vaginal lock happens when woman's vaginal muscles clamp around the penis during intercourse, so firmly, it causes the male to be 'locked' inside her.

Among the symptoms of vaginismus, according to Hera Women's Health Center, are the following:

- being afraid of sexual intercourse with her partner and not being able to try to have intercourse (penetration at all)
- having partial sexual intercourse (only a part of the penis can enter the vagina)
- not being able to insert pads or tampons into the vagina
- not being able to insert a finger into the vagina
- not being able to enter vaginal ultrasound instrument
- wincing and fearing gynecological examinations and not being able to take the gynecologist's examination seat.

I don't know if I am going to laugh or worry about this kind of natural way of killing but seriously I found it funny. If this is really happening, I would suggest you take good care of your girlfriends and note the symptoms and be aware of it. Lol.

Vaginal Lock reminds of this movie. Have you seen THE TEETH MOVIE?. Lol
My last post entitled Alexander The Great Cablao has drawn different reactions from the people of Davao City who are deeply affected with the snapshot of his comment in the News Desk Asia facebook page and a profile of his photo showing his alleged school Far Eastern University

Because of that post, I am happy, that Alex Cablao contacted me. At first, we have slightly exchanged sharp words and ended up to a deal. I proposed he will write a short message regarding this so WE MAYBE able to hear his side. So the following short message is coming from the Alexander Cablao himself using his official facebook account https://www.facebook.com/ALEXUSOPTIMUSUNO
He is the great! Who is Alexander Cablao anyway?

In an instant, Alexander Cablao made himself a social network celebrity (in an ugly way). My teachers once said that WORDS have powers for words can move mountains and can destroy human race.

Hitler and Napoleon Bonaparte invaded almost the entire world not because of their swords but because they were eloquent with a superb communication skills. Words have powers indeed.Words will make you GREAT....and worst.

In 2013, the star has born in the Philippine world wide web. Introducing Alexander Cablao, the allegedly the man in the photo who has berated Davao City and its gem, the Durian fruit. This guy accordingly told the netizens that Dabawenyos are gullible and absurd He wanted Davao to sink to death together with its accordingly disgusting scent of Durian. This writer, by the way, is a true-blooded Dabawenyo.

His school? Allegedly in Far Eastern University. Of course, you can't drag any information about him since he has deleted his account or renamed his account? (That's your price ! ) If you happen to meet this guy in that school or if you care enough to give his head...i mean...his self, I was joking, I would be glad. We, dabawenyos wanted him to eat what he said. Definitely, we want him to apologize... LIVE! If this accusation is true. I got the photo below at Mayor Sarah Duterte's fanpage. Here is the link https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=4312799660330&set=o.220199051378&type=3&theater

Click the image for bigger view

His fame started to flare up when he dropped a bomb in a news giving facebook page called NewsDesk. He commented to one of the photos showing how a flash flood extremely devastated Jade Valley, Davao City. And that message of Alexander has blown our mind away! He doesn't know what does it like to be flooded. To be a survivor. To be at a stage where you almost give up. To be a father whose children died in the flood. To be in a traumatic stage.

Davao Oriental is still recovering after typhoon Pablo destroyed us and killed thousands of people. So we cannot blame netizens in Mindanao who extremely affected of allegedly Alexander Cablao's irresponsible use of social media because we are still healing the wound that Pablo caused us.
"I was getting out of the car and my dress was so tight that I didn't realise it until I saw all the photographers' flashes. It was devastating. They saw everything. I might as well have lifted up my skirt for them," said Anne Hathaway

This was when Anne Hathaway arrived for Les Miserables premiere night in New York.

My point is, why not wearing an underwear? Part of marketing yourself to make a buzz for your film?

The video was deleted after it went viral not because it was handled well but how Ricky Lo screwed up.

Here is the video re-uploaded by somebody

The First Bomb

Ricky Lo started the interview by asking her about how did Anne lose her weight and got it back? Definitely, it is a good question that Ricky misplaced it. That kind of question must have been a good follow up if he has opened the conversation already discussing about physical experiences of the actors.

To start of an interview with weight issue is a BIG NO. There are actors who are very sensitive about it and maybe had a traumatic event of their lives affecting weights. It would have been safe if he started this phrase " You may answer this question or skip it...If you don't mind I would like to ask about how did you blah blah.." With this technique, Anne would be feeling respected because the interviewer is asking permission.

It does not need to ask permission every question. This only applies if you have something in mind that might have destroy her mood before you. Celebrities are very very sensitive about their figures for you to ask them "How did you get it back" What? the fats? the cholesterol? Am I getting fat? OMAYGED! That's the effect of this unfiltered question.

The Second Bomb

Ricky brought along with him the sense of Pinoy showbusiness style. He was obvious in his interview that he wanted to get good sound bites from Anne reacting about her and Leah Salonga being compared. Anne closed the issue indirectly by showing how she adored Leah and wanted to meet her too. That was a cue for Ricky to stop talking about me because I am Anne Hathaway and she is Leah Salonga.

The Third Bomb

The interviewer must be on his best in all aspects. His responsibility is to break the tension and keep the calm environment so that guests would also feel the same. Ricky did some technique by keep on smiling every after Anne's answer. Sadly, it was AWKWARD. Anne felt that she was like wasting his time talking to a showbiz-waiting-for-good-angle-and-eat-me-later.

Ricky Lo, knowing his style in his FUNFARE column, is one of those buzz makers. Intrigue makes the showbusiness healthy. I also understand that Ricky wanted to be different but that doesn't mean you will forget your responsibility as a person who has a privilege to talk with icons.

That 'falling cellphone' that made Anne to comment "Ohh careful" is something a disastrous act for an interview session with artists whose time allotments are precious. For them to spend extra time to comment about you being irresponsible of your stuffs? Anne must have been distracted.

Another thing is Ricky's bulky recorder. He kept on adjusting something in it that made him so unprepared and unprofessional looking. Anne would have thought this way " I can see camera around and I believe this interview is recorded already, why the hell are you still recording our conversation? If you can't get rid of it, can you just ask your assistant to hold it because that stuff adds to the tension and I am distracted to it."

The Fourth Bomb

At the last part when Ricky concluded the interview, he asked Anne again to say some words about Leah being her idol who wanted to meet her. Anne answered " We've already talked about it" She was right! Ricky was insisting the someone out there named Leah Salonga being idolized by a big celebrity like Anne Hathaway. This question has blown me away.

Finally the Full Explosion

Just like in the Philippine showbiz, the interview should end by requesting the subject to invite their fans out there to watch their movie. There is nothing wrong with that even if it is obvious already but if the interview went well from the beginning Anne Hathaway would not answer the question straight right to Ricky's face " Why don't YOU INVITE them...."

Aaaaand I closed my eyes and said "It could have been better if Boy Abunda was there"

Now here is what a good interview should be. Full of FUN and all natural. Introducing a filipino blogger and vlogger Manny The Movie Guy. He is not sikat that much but he was able to interview Top hollywood actors. Here is his fun interview with Anne Hathaway.

DON'T watch it if you hate music and plays.

Les Miserables' is a masterpiece of a genius. It combines the aesthetics of music, cinema and pure acting. A story of a fugitive-turned-hero to all of the characters around him. Golden Globe Best Actor Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean. As a father. As a factory owner. As a citizen. As a God-fearing person who forgave his best enemy (Ruselle Crow) Policeman Javert despite all of his experiences in the dark woods to keep his self safe from the soldiers of Paris and later, Javert faced his conscience by ending his life ( lil spoil).

Don't watch it if:

You don't like theater plays.

You easily surrender in a long conversation (with notes)

You expect wars, explosions, blood and magic.

You can't hold your eyes that long

You don't like gunshots of the past

You are Hitlers big fan and don't care of Napoleon Bonaparte's era

You watch it on a Last Fall Show slot.

You are not a fan of Sacha Baron Cohen (The DICTATOR) and Elena Bonham Carter (Alice in Wonderland- red head queen)

You are depressed.

Time consuming with heart breaking scenes and a dragging musical conversation yet recommended. A film with powerful message of patriotism, self-esteem and survival.

Les Miserables has successfully changed the landscape of a drama/musical film. You will be tuned in after you watch it. Pain, poverty, prostitution, feudalism, and comedy are the bones that complete the skeleton of what is a good and sensible film.
Copyright 2006-2011.

Yann Martel's best selling novel Life of Pi was successfully translated to a moving picture directed by award-winning director Ang Lee. An epic movie that shows the survival experience of a 16-year old skinny indian boy named Piscine 'Pi' Patel (Suraj Sharma) after their ship was wrecked by a storm and found himself the only survivor with a Bengal Tiger named Richard Parker on a life boat for 227 days in the pacific.

That isn't the meat of the film. There is a deeper sense that you need to dissect as the plot progresses. There is a mystery. A big question on your head that both Lee and Martel wanted you to answer by yourself. How? By deciding which story of Pi do you prefer. I will discuss it later. Meanwhile, here are the things that you need to consider first before watching it.

Things to consider before watching it.

Manila is mentioned as supposedly one of the stop overs of the Japanese ship where Patel's family was on board. Yes, not Philippines but Manila. Don't over react.

Know your math. Get your old notebook where you write the definition of Pi. Well, I will give you its definition for your benefit. Perhaps, you were having sex with your girlfriend while your math professor taught it in your school. Well, ‘Pi’ is a mathematical constant that is the ratio of the circle’s circumference to its diameter and is approximately equal to 3.14159…its decimal representation never ends and never settles into a permanent repeating pattern.

If you love Bollywood, you will love this film more so consider their intonations but I found it so cute as if I'm watching Aamir Khan's films.

Several religions were discussed briefly but the character of our GOD as the omnipotent Being is highlighted. If you have issues on this matter especially theology, don't watch it if you are too philosophically oriented with that divine facts. I tell you, Lee made it fair to everyone.

At the end, you will have to choose and interpret the elements of two stories that really describe what had really happened in 227 days. I suggest, you pay attention to the last part.

Are you an animal rights advocate? Control your temper. Don't fight for CGIs.

Watch it in 3D. Ang Lee sees to it that the projection must be perfect. 3D gives life to some of its cinematic effect.

Bring your family, you will all learn something new after watching it.

Let's divide the 'Pi' chart

It was Suraj Sharma's first acting on a film but his character was powerful enough to convince that he was struggling. He was able to captivate the viewers heart by his tender voice yet enliven with intriguing lines. Pi in the film is not strong the way we describe superheroes to our children. His courage and new wisdom owed him to his character as an inquisitive school boy. Those virtues were unleashed when he tried to save his life and his first-enemy-then-become-friend bengal tiger (Richard Parker).

The film didn't endorse any religion but instead combine Christianity, Hinduism and Islam as his greatest tool to survive. Yes, he was a christian, hindu and a muslim because according to him, regardless of the different stories those religions have, they meet all at the crossroads through one God.He learned to sacrifice when he met Christ and learned Jesus deed from father Martin. Hinduism as his first religion in India and his third religion islam taught him brotherhood and reincarnation. He applied it to Richard Parker, a tiger that seemingly reincarnated to something that can be tamed and has self-control.

Mixed feelings

Pi's struggle would be your struggle too. The film keeps you in a state of trouble when Pi is in trouble. Makes you disappointed if he is frustrated to save some lives. Gets you mad if he is angry with the fact that he is with a predator. Brings you smile if he successfully eaten at least one fish or a biscuit. Keeps your nerve functioning if he falls asleep as if you would like to do something to help him but you couldn't. A mixed feelings that consume your precious time to contemplate and realize the lessons you would grab.

The seamless computer generated images of Richard Parker, flying fish, and the meerkats unconsciously convince you that you are seemingly watching real wild animals before you. The cinematography and its approaches to 3D framing created a one powerful movie that tells thousands of reasons to love life.

The controversial

The book and the film both leave us a question "Which story do you prefer?".

At the final frames, when 2 Japanese writers interviewed the surviving Pi at the hospital and seemingly unconvinced with Pi's fantasy story, Pi narrated another version of his story with no animals involved. He said, there were 4 of them who actually survived, his mother Garit, the cook, wounded sailor man and himself. The cook killed his mother and the sailorman before him and he later killed the cook. With all the emotion, he narrated it with conviction. No fantasy. Tears went out from his weary eyes while sharing the second version of the story to the said japanese writers.

I believe on the second story

Assuming you have seen the film, my answer to the grown up Pi's question must be "I will prefer the second story". I believe that Richard Parker was Pi himself. I must agree to what other interviewer said that a banana cannot float on the sea.How much more with an Urangutan on it?

How come that a Hyena was able to hide with a tiger? He must have heard them growling or fighting each other that night. How could a Hyena hide himself during the big waves moment and later revealed himself after the storm?Pi must have noticed it. Can a zebra or urangutan or a tiger escape to a cell knowing Pi's father was sensitive in preserving wilderness. His father knew how dangerous these animals are and you would say they have escaped? How?

This unrealistic placement of characters forced me to believe the second version. Notice how sincere Pi was when he told the second story to the Japanese (with flowing tears plus a zoom in to his eyes).

There was no Richard Parker inside the boat. That character is Pi's wildest side. That traumatic event of his life must have forced him to hide the truth to unbelievable characters because he was still holding the darkest days of his life and could not describe how The Cook killed his mother Garit before him and later he killed The Cook.

The tiger, for me,was his imaginary subject that for Pi, his savior. Had it not been for that tiger, he would have been dead. The survival kit suggested that to keep his blood circulating amidst crisis, you have to think of something that will keep him alert. He must have diverted his mind to something that will keep his senses awake. Remember how his father apprehended him when he tried to feed Richard by his hand at the zoo. That was dangerous. He never forget it. That scene must have stored to his subconsciousness and brought back to life to keep him alive for 227 days.

Was he fool and he even shared it his american friend? Wait, he didn't omit the second story to give his friend choices. Of course, one would choose the first story because you will learn a lot like brotherhood, sacrifice, friendship, and faith. That's how Pi wanted them to perceive the story and not the killing of his mother which would surely give him depression and instead he preferred to hide it behind the characters of the zebra with broken leg, a hyena, a female Urangutan and a tiger.

This line of Pi after he was rescued by the mexicans, I suppose in the end, the whole of life becomes an act of letting go, but what always hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye." concluded it all and brought pain to the viewers heart when Richard Parker didn't give a single glance so Pi could say goodbye. That destroyed him. Now, how would I relate it if there was no Richard Parker from day 1?

It is because he lost the biggest part of his life. A portion of his entire being that he could not bring it to life again. Knowing the character of Pi, he has sparks among the crowd. His inquisitive mind and his obsession to divinity and natural forces especially lightning, you would also agree with me that everything was Pi's imagination. He is a good story teller. A literature genius.

The second story tells the truth. If asked which is better/entertaining, the original plot tells the most inspiring messages about sacrifice and relationship.

How about you? Which story do you prefer? Can you leave a comment? I might as well consider yours too.

Chirstmas and New Year celebration are two big events of our lives that we cannot afford not to drink beers with relatives and friends until dawn or until tomorrow with fatty foods and salty dishes. Consequently, after heavy celebrations, we feel discomfort within us.

Last new year celebration ( 2013) I had fun drinking outside our house along the street with cousins. We had 2 cases of Red Horse beer and ate a lot. From 12am, we ended the laughing and beer drinking until 7am. I wasn't able to sleep that time since I have nephews and nieces playing around the corner so I decided to wake up. Surely, I had 2 hours only rest time after the heavy drinking.

As of this writing from January 1, I feel something strange beneath my ribs. Slight chest pain, slight short of breath. I wanted to go to hospital but I think it would be useless since I know the beer caused it all. I just wanted to know how to get rid of this chest pain.

I searched around the internet and found the same problem.

"I have the same exact symptoms! Drinking the night before... I'll have a
hangover in the morning... But nothing too bad. The real fun starts
late that afternoon with wheezing and chest discomfort. Then that night,
trying to go to sleep.. I feel like the involuntary mechanism that
makes u breathe is broken. I have to "remember" to breath. Then when I
finally fall asleep.. I'll wake up panting for breath... Like I stopped
breathing. I know that this is 100% due to the alcohol the night
before... But sometimes I can drink like a fish and not have he next day
symptoms. I have been suffering with this for about three years. My
doctor is zero help. I wish someone online would help...
        "

Here is another experience from the forum

I to struggle with breathing difficulties after a night out drinking. I
can relate with some of the comments made above; I regularly attend the
gym and have also ran half marathons on several occasions; however if I
drink on a weekend I'm guaranteed to be short of breath for 1-2 days
after the event. Again I only drink one night a week at most and have
been to the doctors who have given me blood tests and an ECG etc. which
have all come back negative. I’ve taken myself to hospital on two
occasions in the past, where my breathing became so laboured I actually
thought I was dying. Both times health professionals have sent me away
diagnosing the problem as anxiety; however I'm generally quite a relaxed
person and find the breathing problem as more of an inconvenience
rather than something which frightens me to the point of having a panic
attack. I also find that apart from the breathing problem on occasion I
also feel faint at stages during the day and that I have to focus not to
fall unconscious. I never have fallen unconscious but it is still
obviously a concern. I don’t really suffer from any kind of acid or
heart burn etc. however I have noticed that the back of my throat does
need clearing regularly the next day after a drink. I would really
appreciate any feedback from anyone suffering from the same problem or
anyone who has been able to diagnose/remedy the problem. I don't think
this can be a huge health problem as I’ve been suffering from it for
about five years now and I still feel fit provided I don’t drink. It’s
maybe just an allergy but it does happen if I drink coffee also? "

If you have the same problem and successfully get rid of it, can you suggest any meds to drink or other ways to at least prevent it or kill this pain inside? Thank you in advance
Last year, I wasn’t able to write

Those were just the highlights of
my life last year. It seemed so great but somehow success asks something in
return—My health. The SM predictions have warned me about the deterioration of
the rabbit people’s health. I have been struggling anxiety disorder. A
discomfort inside that drains my mind and my very me. They say, its normal to
sales persons like me. Oftentimes, over fatigue.Lack of sleep. Walking dead.

2013 is a year of water snake.
Predictions say it is not a good year for rabbit people. But rabbit person is
wise and clever. He knows how to creatively get rid of those setbacks.
Accordingly, I will be stressed dealing with the dark forces that this water
snake will give to rabbit people. My answer is “ I don’t care..eee…eerr”.

I really don’t believe on those
predictions whether its good or bad. All of these successful stories or
failures are just consequences of our decisions. With GOD, we don’t need to
worry. Anyway, these are the things I need to do and virtues I have to posses
these 2013. Call it a new year’s resolution if you want.

promise to talk with the almighty everyday. The power of the creator is
something that I cannot explain. I would just smile if God answers my prayer in
an unexpected way and nod whenever I realize that he is actually punishing. Whether
you believe it or not, everything I asked from Him was granted. It is just
that, sometimes, I abuse it or I get abused.

would say, I am a person who does things with focus. Sometimes, my youthful

energy means my extra goodies. My teenage stuff. My innocence side. My toys. My
Hell no!

Rumors spread that PSY died because he accidentally ate a fake snow as he was joking with peers during a party he attended with friends. This is one of the stupid accusations made by youtube users who abused much the power of the internet and take advantage on the privilege that the world wide web offers.

PSY is alive and kicking. He is busy rehearsing with his first major concert in Manila, Philippines. Don't believe that he passed away. Some said numbers of devoted christians and socialists wanted to kill him because he is accordingly one of the fallen angel that will lead the world to death.

Nostradamus predicted that by saying " In the Calm Morning , when a dancing horse will reach the circle of nine". Calm Morning is what South Korea called itself. Gangnam Style is a dancing horse and his standing on youtube got the 900 million plus views. Soon this will reach the 1billion views with nine circles, nine zeros.

He is accordingly condemned by some disturbed believers of the doomsday that allegedly will occur on December 21,2012.

Manny Pacquiao's fans were shocked when a jab from Manuel Marquez ended the game and knocked Pacman out. He has been pouring all his focus during his training days but he wasn't able to perfect every angle as Marquez has sought a hole to finish the game during the welterweight fight on Saturday (December 7, 2012) at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Here is the blow by blow update per round.

Round 1: After a thrilling buildup in a sold-out MGM
Grand Garden Arena, referee Kenny Bayless gave the fighters their final
instructions and the fight begins. Pacquiao's ready to charge. A Marquez
counter right lands. A nice Pacquiao left. They move for position. This
isn't the three minutes of action Pacquiao promised, but he did press
the action, and did enough. Pacquiao wins the round, 10-9.

Round 2: Again, they're waiting each other out.
Pacquiao shoots in a right, then misses a left uppercut. Marquez gets in
a short right. Pacquiao with a straight left, a nice punch. Marquez
content to stand back. He gets in a good right. Again, Pacquiao did more
work. Pacquiao win the round, 10-9. Pacquiao leads, 20-18.

Round 3: Marquez throws overhand left. Pacquiao charges
with a right that lands. Good left by Pacquiao. Counter left by
Marquez. Left uppercut to body by Marquez. Big right and Pacquiao is
down at 1:12 mark. Hard right by Marquez, then a big right to body by
Marquez. Hard left uppercut by Marquez. Pacquiao fighting buzzed. Hard
right by Pacquiao, Ton of passion in this fight at end, both guys
swinging. Marquez wins the round, 10-8. Fight is even, 38-38.

Round 4: Marquez lands with a high left. Marquez
follows with a straight right. Pacquiao not in huge hurry to engage
here. Pacquiao lands a jab, but Marquez makes him eat two hard rights
before the bell. Marquez wins the round, 10-9. Marquez leads, 48-47.

Round 5: Pacquiao drops Marquez with hard left.
Incredible round. Marquez takes eight count. Pacquiao is at his most
dynamic, battering Marquez with set-up lefts. Hard rights. He had
Marquez cornered twice and wailed on him. Pacquiao win the round, 10-8. Pacquiao leads, 57-56.

Round 6: Big left snaps Marquez head back. Marquez
missing now. Marquez's nose is bleeding and appears it might be broken.
He's breathing with mouth wide open. Hard right by Marquez. Jab by
Marquez. Pacquiao lands a right. Marquez follows with wicked hard right
as Pacquiao was moving forward. Pacquiao's out, not moving, fight is
over. Marquez wins. He runs to a corner and stands. Pacquiao down on
canvas with his cornermen over him. He's now sitting up. Marquez wins by knockout at 2:59.

All three judges had Pacquiao leading the fight, 47-46 after five rounds.

It is a sign that he has to retire and begin to answer to what is said
his calling-- TO SERVE GOD and TO SERVE the people. That if he is really sincere because God's presence usually appear when you feel that you are down and that is a challenge. On the other hand,
he has to see the defeat as inspiration that no one in this world is
greater than anybody. For Filipino people, Pacman is a hero already win or loss.

Davao City has brilliant and talented drag queens who perform with pride and passion. I have met some artists here and was able to talk to them as to how do they transform their selves into someone that is not him but obviously could able to convince their audience to watch and awe their characters.

Edwin Luis is said to be the queen here in Davao City in terms of impersonation and 'dragging'. His team performed in one of my events last two years and the performance was extremely entertaining. I didn't know there is fun in lip sync performances.

One of the rising and aspiring drag queen I met told me that if someone would try to be in the industry he has to have great selections of wigs for it will help your career. Without it your nothing.

He said " I found this Chicago wig store that gives me different array of wig collections" Thus, if you want to try such career you have to invest to make your character the way it should be. A friend went to America just to collect such stuff. What a passion.
Copyright 2006-2011. All contents provided by Alberto P.
Bambu Estate is a midcost yet prime project of Kisan Lu Lands Inc. located along the super highway of Mintal, Davao City. They say, a country side subdivision with full access to necessities.

I am so excited to stay in Block 9 Lot 23 here in Bambu Estate and build my own family there. As of this writing, Bambu Estate is in 70% done with more than hundred of houses built in the norther part where my home is.

My family is also excited to stay as it has swimming pool and clubhouse. Not to mention the exclusive 2-hectare NCCC Mall inside Bambu Estate.

Bambu is at the country side but it has everything you need to continue life that easy and hassle free. For education, Holy Child Academy and Philippine Science Highschool are just infront of the subdivision.

Security and safety are also tighten here in Bambu Estate. The company takes it seriously and install CCTV cameras on critical areas with high profiled security guards.

The houses are in full quality giving homeowners an elegant and livable home. With the qualities of the materials and interior designs, you would really say, I AM HOME.

The fixtures are not part of the package so you would have to have a good source of these stuffs like cabinets and appliances.
There is a custom furniture and cabinet maker in Chicago that I love to have in my home. I wish it is available here in Davao City so I could install it my new home in Bambu Estate.
