Spectacular Las Ventanas destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas. What a beautiful event !! A few months back on Monday morning I got a phone call from “Alan Shepperd” Wedding and Event planner from Los Angele’s saying.. Hi, My client wants to hire you..And that was the beginning of many great emails!! Alan, Alec and I will adore you forever, you crack me up and are a kick ass event planner! The day started like this. We arrived at Las Ventanas never having met Lisa or Michael. I took one look at Micheal..something about him ( you want him on your side in a court room)… I just knew Lisa was going to be a knock out. After meeting Lisa I discovered she was not only beautiful but super nice and incredible to Alec and I. I think it took about 5 minutes to feel like friends and knew exactly how to capture this wedding.The day went by so fast it seemed as if we just arrived and the party was already starting. Las Ventanas is Alec’s favorite place to shoot weddings. The resort is white and has a bounce light that is a photographers dream also the area for ceremony’s is very clean and easy to get around. Again Marco the Marvelous Minister made everyone laugh and cry and he did this in less then 15 minutes. Lisa’s perfect hair and Make up thanks to Suzanne Morel who gets it right every time. We had a wonderful day thanks to everyone! Mostly of course this wonderful couple!! T

A little advice from a destination wedding photographer. Lets chat about your ceremony set up. If you think its not important think again. If your wedding photography is important to you then so should your ceremony set up! I recently did a wedding and the set up was worse then United Airlines and they had the entire beach to take advantage of I put some guidelines below. Find out whom is placing the chairs and the chuppa and do not assume that they know what they are doing take charge and make sure your wedding planner or florist is aware of what you want. The pointers below will make sure your wedding photos are the best they can be!!

1.The set up should be in an angle to the sun ( you do not want to be squinting the whole time)

2. Leave at least 9 feet from the last row of chairs and the chuppa ( this is a big one)

3. The aisle should be wide and long 3 people should be able to comfortable walk down side by side

4. If using urns or vases at the front they need to be far enough apart that they do not cause shadows in the bride and grooms faces

5. Do not have anything hanging down from the front of the Chuppa or fabric draping to low.

6. Look to see what is directly behind you.it will be in your photos( trash cans,beach showers you get the idea)

7. Do not have the back of the ceremony set up to close to a wall or pool ( your photography and videographer need room to back up)

A wedding would not be a wedding with out flowers. Flowers can be a bit pricey in Los Cabos . Nothing grows in Cabo everything must be flown in from the main land. And you cannot bring flowers into the country from the USA. Alec and I shoot around 60-70 weddings per year and have had the chance to work with many florists. Rene is one of my very favorite florist in Cabo San Lucas. His pricing is fair and his designs are cutting edge. Maybe more then all Rene is great human with a heart of gold. I know when he is on board the wedding floral designs will be the very best for the brides budget! Thanks Rene!!

One & Only Palmilla weddings are on my list of Cabos best wedding venues. The Mexico destination wedding location is visited by the rich and famous and considered to be the premiere resort of Mexico. Alec and I have shot several weddings at this location and beleive the property just gets better with every new wedding. Angie and Randy could have been photographed anywhere and looked amazing! So now we put them in Mexico’s number 1 resort, dress them like prince and princess and forget it, how could we possible do anything but magic. The wedding flowers took my breath away floral designs by Elena Damy located in Cabo San Lucas. The wedding ceremony was officiated by Cabo San Lucas Minister Marco the Minister And once again Marco had just the perfect words to make you laugh and cry ( always great for photos! and even better for a life time of memories ) We feel very blessed to have met this great, kind and loving couple! Suzanne has not stopped designing table clothes, chair backs, table runners, napkins and more for the past several months. The designs are new and innovative. If you are looking for a totally unique wedding Suzanne is the one in Cabo to contact. She is very hands on and is designing each wedding one at a time. Suzanne’s linens are as simple and elegant as you would like or as elaborate as you can dream. I just left her office very excited after seeing a whole new batch of amazing fabrics and fun accents. Great wedding at Cabo Azul Resort in Mexico. If I were to describe Cabo Azul I would start off by saying your in great hands with” Bertha” the resorts wedding planner and then I would move on to the overall feeling of the resort. The resort is black and white and has a very modern and hip feel to it. The resort can be captured in photographs very dramatic like the post below. The chapel is a must see, if your planning a Cabo Destination Wedding and are not into a sand ceremony, Its a great option. The rooms are all suites we love them! As far as the food I have not had anything but fabulous food at Javier’s (Alec even loves it and hes mister picky eater) Erika and Abu chose a great resort that was the perfect wedding location for them. Erika and Abu’s wedding was just as I explained the resort. Modern and hip. This couple could not do anything that wasn’t cool. As I was looking at the 100s of photos trying to pick some for the blog. I could not help myself but to keep saying wow,wow, amazing, great!! I was driving Alec crazy. Two days after the wedding on Dec 31st we had Erika and Abu over to our home for a few shots of Alec private stash tequila and a out of this world trash the dress session ( Mess The Dress) We laughed as they brought half the beach back to the house in Erika’s wedding dress. I could not think of a better way to bring in the New Year. We send our love to your entire family! Alec and T.

As a wedding photographer in Cabo San Lucas Mexico, Alec and I have the chance to see amazing wedding venues. This wedding was no exception. Villas Del Mar in Palmilla was the wedding location of West and Nancy s intimate wedding. Two beautiful villas side by side owned by Wests father who by the way is a wonderful Photographer!!! I got a phone call from Amy Abbot ( Amy Abbot events in Cabo) Telling me she had a great bride that loved our work and I should contact her ASAP the wedding was just a few months away. I called Nancy one evening and I could have talked with her for hours. That was it! we were a perfect match!! Fast forward to the wedding day. As Alec and I arrived the doctor was leaving…Nancy was feeling awful and really just wanted to sleep ( every brides nightmare) Thank God for Cabo house calls. The first few hours were a bit shaky, but as the day went on Nancy seemed to feel better, Thanks to an amazingly loving and caring West whose only concern was for Nancy. Even though the day started out not perfect, I believe it ended perfect. As we were leaving we had to stop and hug everyone, This was a wedding filled with loving caring and just great people all the way around. We will see you both soon in Cabo . xox Alec and T

Wedding at the Westin in Cabo San Lucas! Say that 3 times. LOL. I will start off this post by saying Becky you are wonderful and we are so happy for you and James. Becky was introduced to Alec and I by a local Cabo San Lucas wedding planner “Muriel Olsen” muriel@mvpcabo.com. Thank-You Muriel! It was a pleasure working together with you!! From the very first phone call I had with Becky I was excited for this wedding. We had emails and phone calls back and forth for months regarding wedding details.Shoes no shoe? blue shirts white shirts? photography time-lines?? By the time the wedding was around the corner I felt as if I had a new friend and I think the photos transmit that everyone involved was relaxed comfortable and having fun.The Westin resort is a large property with many great photo options. Becky and James and the wedding party worked with us prior ceremony. Their beautiful Jewish ceremony took place after sunset followed by a party that you wished you would have been invited to. Alec and I have shot over a dozen weddings at Esperanza resort in Cabo in the last year! And have to say it is one of my favorite Cabo San Lucas wedding venues. I feel as if the staff is family and the resort feels like home. Esperanza I think feels like that to many people and maybe that’s why its such a great wedding option. When choosing a location for your wedding you have many things to consider! ( Especially if your relying on the internet) Many resorts are great but not wedding friendly or just not set up well for events. Call me !!! I’m very opinionated and have worked in most all the resorts and wedding venues. Aaron and Maureen contacted us a while back and we talked about how we would approach their wedding photos and video. They wanted their photos to capture the day in a very candid and photo journalistic way. Something Alec and I do naturally ( so the task was pretty simple) I think the photos are a perfect reflection to the essence of the day. Maureen and Aaron weddings was natural, fresh and simple in a very elegant way! I loved her flowers !! designed by Elaina Damy. Both Aaron and Maureen had wonderful family’s , I remember at the end of the evening standing back and watching everyone dancing and completely enjoying each other and thinking.. YES!! What a successful event this was. Alec and I adore you both and cant wait for you to see the video as well!! hugs T

Kathy and Ben had and private wedding for two. And it was wonderful! The wedding ceremony was at the Westin Resort in Cabo San Lucas. The wedding dinner and Sunset Photos at one of my favorite wedding Venues, Sunset da Mona Lisa also in Cabo. Alec and I instantly had wonderful chemistry with this couple. I love these intimate weddings! When a couple hires Alec and I , It means that Photography is a wedding priority, Much care and consideration goes into making sure the time line fits with the light etc. I worked with Roxanne from Baja weddings to make sure this wedding was as perfect as possible, And it was pretty close to perfect. Thank U Rox!! The photos are amazing! The day went completely smooth. At the end of the shoot we could have stayed and talk to Kathy and Ben all night. I cant begin to say how much Alec and I love what we do!! and how great it is when we get the chance to meet beautiful people like this couple! Kathy Ben see you soon in Cabo!! T

Alec and I met up with Linda and Sierus a few weeks ago in LA for this engagement session. Its always great to be able to shoot engagement photos before the wedding. These sessions are just pure fun, no pressure or strict time-lines! We get to just run around and shoot for an hour or 2. Downtown Los Angele’s has so many great photography locations, but I have to say that the Disney Concert Hall is one of my favorites! Linda and Sierus have a Cabo San Lucas destination wedding planned for this coming June. Alec and I feel honored to be able to photograph this couple. I would like to thank Vari from Allure Event Design for introducing Alec and I to them. Sierus my tall and handsome groom and Linda our million dollar smile bride, we will see you in June!! When I think of a destination wedding in Mexico, I think of – beach – bright colors – wedding guests without shoes – bright colored drinks – and The Esperanza Resort in Cabo!! Alec and I just love this resort as a wedding venue. We get excited every-time the opportunity comes up to shoot a wedding at this location. Anne and Jesse contact us many months back. The very first time I met Anne I remember thinking.. first off, shes a lawyer and shes that beautiful ..NO.. Only lawyers on TV look like that. Well its true, she is a lawyer and she looks like that… LOL. Shes smart, beautiful and super super nice, and shes married to Jesse.. Killer combination. If you know Jesse you will agree . They are beautiful alone and together they are perfect. When I take photographs I am very aware of the eye contact and the way people look at each other.. I always say, you can run but you cant hide hehehhe.. From the lens that is. The way Anne and Jesse looked at each other was priceless, pure and perfect. I think the world has so much in store for them. Alec and I wish them many years of love life and happiness! and..Drinks at our house soon! xoox T

Sunset Da Mona Lisa in Cabo San Lucas still takes my breath away!! After shooting many many weddings at this location I still stop and take in the views. Maria and Clayton found the location after searching the internet and running across some beautiful photos that Alec and I had posted of the venue. Maria got ready at Casa Dorada . When I walked in and took one looked at her I knew that her eyes would love the camera and the camera would love her eyes ( she photographed like a movie star from the 40s). Every bride has something that is exceptional and we focus on it, to make sure that their individual personality’s come out in the photos. And this was a no brain- er. Clayton was about as nice as you can get. So you can imagine, once again Alec and I walk away loving what we do! Oh and did I mention?? The wedding planner was April from Baja Weddings another big plus!

I added a some Black and White photos at the end. I think the feel of the old classic look was perfect for this wedding .. but so hard to decide.. so they will get them both!

Luke my very talented and famous director & Sarah the beautiful and funny and sexy Actress !! We are so excited about their up and coming wedding!! A true one of a kind couple. I am 1000 percent sure they have chosen the perfect photography and video company ( Alec, me and the crew!!) to capture their wedding day. I love them both! When they talk about wedding details I get excited.( Oh yeah, wedding party will be in the air) When ever a couple is super excited and enjoying the process of the wedding. (its for us) I would Jump off the bridge If they asked me to! Oh shit we almost did on this engagement photo session. I have enjoyed every phone call and loved meeting up in LA!!! Sally and Jonders destination wedding took place in Cabo San Lucas Mexico. It was a wedding filled with beautiful American Chinese and Korean tradition. I was so excited to finally meet Sally in person! When I walked in it was as if I had known her all my life . Something about her lights up the room every room! Jonder agrees!! The day started with a Chinese’s tea ceremony and then an American wedding ceremony to follow with a Korean tradition ( that included champagne and looked like a lot of fun) The day was filled with bright color and total joy! WOW!! April from Baja weddings has been telling me about Zoetry ( Casa Del Mar) for a few years as a wedding option and I just could not believe that an all inclusive resort could be this upscale! I LOVE IT!! The resort is breath taking and hotel staff was wonderful ( David, thank u!!) And the hotel guests seemed to be wonderful as well ( big plus)! I get my self in trouble some times by telling the obvious!! Trust me I will never suggest or promote anything or anyone I do not believe in!! “Be That Bride” is just around the corner! Ok this wedding I can put on the books as one of my all time favorite. I’m not sure if it was because April came in the resort jumping with joy and set the stage for a joyous day or lets just say it was not April and it was some one else.. hmmmm pick your planner wisely!! Rachel and Scott Alec and I have such great memories of you and the photos below I’m sure will bring you back to this wonderful amazing day that will forever stay with me. I’m going to start blogging about the importance of the relationship that is between the wedding planner and the photographer ITS EVERYTHING!! If your photos are important. its a must.. Your wedding planner sets the stage of your day. Oh one more thing Hair and Make up!! A beautiful Cabo wedding that had it all!! Most of all pure love and joy. Sean and Christine’s wedding was held at the wonderful Las Ventanas resort in Cabo Mexico. Alec and I just finished editing the wedding video, as I showed the video to a friend she looked at me with tears in her eyes and said. Wow!! That is the happiest bride I have ever seen. I think that says it all. This couple needs to win the award of best dressed wedding couple. Sean’s custom made European suit was off the charts and Christine’s Valentino dress with her Jimmy Choo shoes was academy award worthy. Alec and I would like to thank this beautiful and extremely gracious couple for inviting us to be apart of their wedding day!! T

Cabo Surf Hotel is a located on the best surfing beach in Cabo and is a secret gem! The feeling is very private and cozy. Alec and I loved it, and highly recommend it!! Vivian and Jason had the entire resort which is fairly easy to do the hotel has only 20 something rooms. I love weddings that have a private feeling! Vivian and Jason’s wedding was coordinated by Sarai Flores ( Signature weddings located in Cabo) I loved everything about it. I love color!! And this wedding had the most beautiful color I have seen in a wedding the personal touches of the handmade hearts and ribbon, the handmade silk pillows strategically placed and the bright colored lace that was wrapped on each napkin, gave a complete and total personal touch feeling. Martha Stewart should feature this one..Hmmmm that’s an idea. Vivian and Jason both had this amazing calmness about them that rubbed off on everyone. They picked a perfect venue and the wedding was a huge success. I rest my case on what I always say it is (THE SUM OF ALL) Vivian and Jason your wedding was amazing ! And your video is coming, we having fun with that as well!! Much love to you both T

Another great wedding in Cabo! This was the first wedding Alec and I have shot at Pueblo Bonito Sunset.. But not the last!! The Sky Pool ( reception location) is breathtaking, I’m not a big fan of large resorts, but when you arrive to the sky pool you feel like you are on top of the world. Alexa was as beautiful inside as she was outside and as you can see she was off the charts. When we arrived Alexa took me aside and said Andy was not doing so great he had an allergy attack and his face was swollen with a red rash, Not to mention he had passed out cold from a shot that very morning… Well Andy you looked great and I have the photos as evidence. The great thing about Mexico is that margaritas seem to cure everything!! The day seemed to fly by so fast! Alexa and Andy we send our love !! Alec & T

Villa weddings in Cabo! Choosing a villa as your wedding venue is a great option. If privacy and intimacy is your goal I think you cant go wrong. Cabo is known for its amazing villas for rent. Jim and Jody had contacted me many months ago and talked about the option of a villa wedding it was very exciting I just adored them both. Then one day I got a phone call and Jody informing me some issues had arrived and the wedding would be canceled. This was 1 month prior wedding date .. I said NO NO NO!! The wedding must go on, you have your dress, your shoes your villa, your friends and family ( what else do you need??) Like the story of Cinderella all my friends jumped into gear #1 Matter of Taste Catering designed an amazing menu arranged for the tables and chairs and many details like the very cool fireworks show. Then Rene from Cabo Floral designs, truly a master, created the flowers and the ceremony set up. Suzanne Morel hair and Make up and Suzanne Morel Linens and Things and More, came up with the perfect tables, Jorge the Minister came to the rescue to perform a beautiful ceremony. The music, the cake, the time-line… Everything was put together in a few weeks and the wedding went off PERFECT!! Jody and Jim enjoyed every minute of the day, I was so excited when Jody told me she had 2 dresses and 1 of those was jumping in the ocean Wooohoo!! MESS THE DRESS. This couple went into the ocean with total passion and joy no inhibitions at all. It was a warm Cabo day..I wished I could have jumped in!! What a joy what a pleasure Jody and Jim, Alec and I wish you all the best that this world can send your way. xoxox T

Mathew and Susanna…. Alec and I are so so sorry we almost killed you in the Cabo Surf! But what a totally cool photo. LOL Out of the corner of my eye I witnessed Alec getting smashed by a huge wave, Matthew grabbing a soaked but beautiful Susanna. And I just kept taking Photos!! I cannot believe Alec was able to save his camera, he was momentarily stretch Armstrong!! It was the end of the shoot and this is always when we get a little wet anyway!! Sunset da Mona Lisa is for sure one of my all time favorite wedding venues in Cabo., actually anywhere. This was a very special wedding, It was in the planning stages for along time, WOW it was worth the wait. The wedding went off without a single bump in the road. The details I loved!! Victoria and Fredrick both had a very upscale and formal way about them. The details in black and white and then the bright red and burnt orange accents, fit this couple perfect. Victoria and Frederik’s wedding was planned by Rachel Hanson at Infinity Weddings . She did an great job with dressing up the restaurant, I had noticed that the pathway of the restaurant looked different and I could not point out what it was.. The day of the wedding Rachel arrived early and planted extra plants and flowers so that when Victoria walked down the path it would be perfect for her. I am all about detail ( the sum of all). We really had fun shooting the photos and the wedding video. Cheers! Alec & T

Laura Levy is the associate producer of HBO’s hit show Entourage and Kenny Niebart is the shows writer. This was a really fun wedding for Alec and I to be apart of. Not only did we shoot the photos but we also shot the wedding video. Esperanza Resort in Cabo San Lucas was perfect for this wedding. The feeling of the day was relaxed and private. Laura could not have looked more beautiful. We shot this wedding almost 100% candid, the amazing shot below of Laura took about 30 seconds flat. Alec and I have been shooting weddings for a long time and have not heard such entertaining speeches ever! Kenny’s best man and Laura’s brother in law, win the wedding speech award!! for making everyone laugh and enjoy. Another perfect Esperanza wedding in Cabo San Lucas Mexico. Luke and Carly’s weddings was filled with complete and total joy. I got an email from Luke and he said this…Thank you for shooting Carly and my wedding the entire night was perfect and one that I will never forget. When I receive emails like this my heart jumps. Everyone should be able to feel this way. Carly and Luke surrounded themselves with family and friends, they kept it simple and focused on the wedding details that were important to them. Carly had a classic style that was beautiful and elegant and I think we captured her essence perfectly!! I have to laugh, everyone warned them about rain in September!! hahaha the day was perfect. We really enjoyed our time at this Esperanza wedding and send out many warm wishes to Luke and Carly!!

Weddings in the East Cape of Mexico. When I say “East Cape” I’m talking about approx 30 minutes from San Jose Del Cabo and about 50 minutes from Cabo San Lucas . The great benefit of having an East Cape wedding is music , Many of the villas in Cabo have a 10 or 11 pm shut off time …The East Cape, you can pretty much party all night. I love to talk about weddings, I could talk all day about them!! When I met Dustin for the first time over the phone we talked for over an hour, he told me about Annie his business and his children and I got his priorities instantly. When ever we are hired be anther photographer I feel honored! Thank You Annie!! When I met Annie, her eyes said it all.. I’m true..I’m beautiful.. I’m good.. I’m as loving as it gets! Alec and I watched the wedding unfold before us and knew that we were the perfect match, to capture the true moments of the day. Sunset da Mona Lisa in Cabo San Lucas is one of my favorite wedding Locations. Breath taking views and amazing sunsets! Alec and I love this venue, we have never shot a wedding that we did not fall over backwards when we started to edit. Emina and Sulejmans wedding was coordinated by April at Baja Weddings highly recommended, first class Cabo wedding coordinators!! We just finished editing the wedding video and it is just as amazing as the photos, I will put the video up in the next few days. This was a small intimate wedding that was done with such class and elegant touches. Enima knew exactly what she wanted. The wedding colors, her choice of dress, everything was perfect. Samantha and Robs wedding was at the One and Only Palmilla located in Los Cabos Mexico. The One and Only is considered Mexico’s premier resort. Its known for its high end weddings and celebrity clients. Rob and Samantha chose to have an intimate wedding for 2 and it was perfect. They really did it right and completely enjoyed each other and every minute of their wedding. The wedding was coordinated by Martha Huerta and it went like clock work. Alec and I had a great time the shoot seemed to go by so fast. Congrats Sam and Rob!!!

My barefoot bride chose Esperanza resort in Mexico to have her first class destination wedding. Meredith and Paul’s wedding was fun, spontaneous and completely relaxed..They picked the perfect couple to shoot their wedding. When Alec and I arrived and I looked at Meredith I knew this was going to be a day of great photos. The first thing I did was run over and give her a big hug and kiss and then meet everyone else in the room. As we started to shoot I realized she was missing shoes.. This is the way she stayed all night, MY BAREFOOT BRIDE. I think mostly everyone was shoeless, Its was perfect. The weddings flowers ( flown in from Holland) were designed by Elena Damy www.elenadamy.com.. AMAZING Elena and Carlos, literally off the charts, but then again every wedding I do with Elena, I seem to say the same thing WOW!! Arianna from Esperanza planned this wedding with perfect orchestration. Meredith and Paul loved Arianna.( everyone always dos) The night seemed to fly by so fast. I’m excited for this blog post. I’m excited for Meredith and Paul to have the chance to relive their wedding day. Besos and more more besos. T

Shana and Ben’s destination wedding took place at Fiesta Americana resort located in Cabo Mexico. This post is very easy for me to write. A million great things are going through my head about this bride and groom. I will quote the wedding planner, April from Baja weddings ” The greatest family I have ever worked with..I LOVE THEM ALL”

I think that sums it up, but I will add a few things. Ben the groom never stopped smiling the entire day, every time he looked at Shana his eyes would sparkle..I’m not kidding.. he was a super special guy with a heart of gold. Shana was good from her head to her toes. Totally relaxed and ready to just enjoy her wedding ( I love that) And when I met her Mom and Dad it made perfect reasoning the apple never falls far from the tree. This was a fairly small wedding so I had the chance to meet everyone and this group was a total and complete joy. When I started to glance at the photos to grab some for the blog post, I was happy for them all over again. What most people don’t know is that Alec and I get to relive every wedding as we edit the photos. The time we spend making your wedding memory’s come to life makes us better photographers. Cabo Del Sol is a wonderful wedding venue. Alec and I have shot several wedding at this location and really love it. I met Kristin and Sean A while back. Kristin and I bonded with in 10 seconds and then spent the next several months going back and forth with emails. When it was time to shoot their wedding, I felt as if we had been friends for a really long time. My impression was that Sean was thinking this whole photo thing was going to be a pain in the butt…wrong… I know he had fun and I have photos that prove it. hehhe. I really loved this couple and will miss the emails Kristin.

What do you get when you put this combination together?? A Groom that is a surgeon, a Bride that is a surgeon, Sarai Flores from Signature weddings, Martha Huerta from One & Only , and yes of coarse Alec & T. Photography ? ANSWER: A perfect wedding with all the right detail . Pretty bold statement, but true. LOL. This Cabo San Lucas destination wedding took place at the One & Only Palmilla located in Mexico. Alec and I have shot many Jewish weddings in the past. But I think this ceremony was exceptional. The traditions and the Rabbis words really touched my heart. He talk about the relationship of the Bride and Groom with passion and conviction. I am looking forward to editing the wedding video to hear these words again. Alec and I would like to congratulate Gene and Jeannie on the exciting life they have ahead of them. To love, to life and to future happiness!! T

I just fell in love with Ana, everything about her was elegant and pure as if she stepped out from a movie that took place in the early 1900s. Alec and I instantly had a great chemistry with both Anna & Alonso. Cheers!!! Alec and I shot these great engagement photos of Stephanie and Sota a few weeks back. This photo session was about as fun as it gets and was done in about 1 hour. Short and sweet and 100s of perfect photos. I don’t think I stopped laughing and running the entire time. Stephanie has become very dear to me, We have talked about her up and coming Pueblo Bonito Sunset resort wedding numerous times and the phone calls I love. Sotas smile made my heart melt, I knew the minute I saw him it was going to be a breeze of a shoot. We are super excited to shoot their wedding photos and wedding video and Trash the Dress ( this coming May) Mostly we are thrilled to have met such a warm and beautiful couple. Tons of hugs!! T

China and Joels Cabo San Lucas wedding, was an event pact day. I heard one of the weddings guests say as the fire dancers started, WOW it just keeps getting better. The wedding was planned and designed by Jenny from Baja weddings . I don’t think 10 minutes went by without something cool happening. China incorporated Chinese wedding traditions into the day that added another layer of flair. This destination wedding took place at the Sheraton Hacienda Resort in Los Cabos Mexico.

Esperanza resort is located in Los Cabos Mexico. Alec and I have shot several weddings at Esperanza and we just love the resort. Meghan and Robs wedding was another beautiful Esperanza wedding!! This blog post is huge, I usually do not blog with so many wedding photos but just could not pick I had about 100 chosen and had to cut it down to this 61 photos. The weather on this day was extremely hot ( not normal for June) and I was sure it was going to be a difficult shoot. I was wrong… The day was perfect and went by so fast and the shoot was wonderful . Rob and Meg are two of the sweetest people ever. When I was looking at all the photos I could not help but to notice the way they looked at each other, the way it felt like no one else was in the room, but the two of them ( as if our cameras did not exist). This is what we want to do all the time, we want you to feel as if we are the fly on the wall. To capture the essence of your day without being in your face. The wedding was from beginning to end filled with laughter and love. Thank you both Meg & Rob!! Love you guys !! T

The One & Only Palmilla is considered to be the premier resort of Mexico! The resort lends itself for wedding photos worthy of any bridal magazine. The One & Only is a dream wedding back drop. This destination wedding was in my eyes perfect. And I have these photos as evidence. hehehehe. Audra and Brads wedding was romantic and private. The details I loved, Audra’s flowers and shoes added the perfect touches, not to mention that Brad looked like a movie star in his exquisite tuxedo. And Audra put herself together perfect, like a royal. The love that they share for each other was so easy to capture, I’m so happy that Alec and I had the chance to be apart of this day. This Cabo San Lucas destination wedding had me laughing the entire day and night! From the very first phone call I knew Alec and had a fun wedding ahead. April from Baja weddings called me and said,” boy do I have a couple for you” Alec and I really love to shoot outside the box, have fun and get creative. NO boring wedding photography please!! Amy and James truly enjoyed their wedding day!! The fake mustaches and the tequila shots, started the wedding reception on a perfect note. When we took the wedding party down to the beach for photos it was a party in itself. I’m pretty sure Amy and James should be back this week from a long European honeymoon and I’m sure Italy is not the same. Cant wait to hear about your trip!! hugs T

I have to start with Lynsey and Chris we love you !! Lynsey and I became friends in the process of her wedding planning and I’m sure will stay this way forever! I think it started when she said she wanted to get married on the beach out front of Casa Dorada… I had a heart attack….Then I begged her to have her ceremony on the deck. NOT THE BEACH!! No No No.. The deck at Casa Dorada is beautiful ( with views) and is a great ceremony setting, The beach is just to busy with tourists, and makes it almost impossible to get pretty clean ceremony photos. Alec and I think that the 12 tribes restaurant is a fabulous setting and the resort is a wonderful wedding location. Lynsey was saved by the bell and did have her wedding ceremony on the deck. GREAT PHOTOS! Private elegant ceremony. The wedding coordinator Sarai ( Signature Weddings ) Is known for her creative touches and once again Sarai, made this wedding completely unique!! I loved the way the chairs angled and the chuppah was super romantic one of my favorites. During the ceremony a little bird landed on the corner of the chuppah and chirped ( It felt like out of a movie) The details of orchids on silk ribbons and pink satin pillows thrown around, nothing looked commercial everything looked handmade and placed with care. Lynsey’s hair and make was done by Suzanne Morel, Located in Cabo San Lucas and stayed perfect all night! I received a beautiful email from Lynsey saying her wedding was perfect that she would not have changed a thing!! This is exactly what we love to hear. Everybody come to Cabo!!!

Shani contacted us about a year ago and we stayed in contact talking about her wedding!I had a chance to meet her and her mother while they were in town for a site inspection, I knew the minute I saw her that her eyes were going to be a focal point that she was going to photograph beautifully., And she did!! Not only were they beautiful outside, But this couple was absolutely wonderful inside and out. I had such a hard time choosing the blog photos..I could have blogged with all of them. This Esperanza wedding was very special to Alec and I. Cassandra and Skylar could not have been two nicer people to work with, I cannot say enough great things about them. Cassandra had a definite style, nothing flashy or over the top. From her wedding dress that just draped perfect on her perfect body, to her shoes, to the simple elegant table settings, the cocktail hours great champagne and ceviche. Everything was first class all the way. They chose to use earth tones and let the Esperanza resort and ocean be the backdrop of the wedding. Everything they did worked. Oh and the wedding bouquet!! Lily of the valley. Extremely rare for Mexico and very hard to get , It grows in cool temperatures. How did you get those fresh???? They looked like she ran outside and freshly picked them before walking down the isle ..Another perfect detail. Cassandra and Skylar we cant wait to see you sometime soon in LA!! Alec & T

Cabo Azul Resort is located in San Jose Del Cabo and is popular for its wedding chapel. The resort has a very modern feel to it. The black and white theme that is through out lends its self for some great photo opts. Monique contacted me a while back and explained to me that she and Alvin would get married in their home town but would honeymoon in Cabo and wanted some spectacular photos while they were in town. We came up with a date that would work for all of us for the photo shoot and the rest is history. Everything was perfect that day not to windy not to bright just right! The photos are spectacular!! Cabo Del Sol is an amazing wedding venue in Cabo San Lucas Mexico. Alec and I have shot many destination weddings at this location, and love it. Every wedding we find new and fresh photo options. Nina and Eric’s ceremony was held on the green over looking the ocean. The cocktail hour and reception were both held in the beautiful Cabo Del Sol golf coarse club house. We promised Eric that he would not miss his cocktail hour! Eric we stuck to our word. YEAH!! I think we spent no longer then 15 minutes with the bride and groom and still we were able to capture fantastic photos with many different backgrounds. Just a few photos from this beautiful wedding!! Another beautiful destination wedding in Los Cabos. Rick and Janine had an all white wedding!! The wedding guests were asked to wear white! even all the vendors wore white!! I love this for photos. The ceremony and reception were both held at the Fiesta America in Cabo San Lucas. The location is one of my favorites..Maybe that’s because of the great staff, wonderful food and beach that feels completely private. Cheers to Fiesta Americana! And double big salute to Baja weddings April and Jenny the wedding planners that made this event happen..who by the way, looked great in all white. The minute Alec heard the name Eric Wright..football player..He knew who he was. Alec is a USC graduate and Eric was a USC football super star and now Eric is a part of the NFL (for awhile actually) When I first met LaTanya I just could not wait to photograph her!! she is stunning in every way. Villa Bellissima is Located in Los Cabos Mexico, It is an amazing Villa that over looks the newest high end Cabo San Lucas resort Capella. Let me tell you about this amazing villa wedding!!! Anatoly and Yana contacted me from Chicago and we discussed their wedding details.They are an amazingly beautiful Russian couple as you can see. We came to an agreement that Alec and I would shoot the wedding photos and the wedding video. Anatoly told me of a entertainer ( Marat) that he would be flying in from Chicago to run the show, OK fine I said, I will talk with him to get the scoop on this Russian wedding. Hmmmm.. Well.. WOW.. All I can say is MARAT is my new hero, my MASTER of fun, my Mr. MAGICAL. I cant say enough about him!! In my life I have never experienced a wedding anything like this wedding. From shooting weddings in NYC in LA in San Diego, Seattle or Mexico City, Marat put on the best show I have ever witnessed. The wedding was non stop entertainment. Alec and I were hired to shoot the wedding until 10:00 at 12:30, we started to pack up, I didn’t want to miss a thing. The Couple Yana & Anatoly and all of their wedding guests made us feel a part of the wedding.Thank You!! I have only a few of these spectacular wedding photos ready. How could I choose from so many perfect photos. And the wedding video is going to be so much fun, I cant wait to start working on it.

I think this was costume change number 5 or 6. Marat never stopped the entire night. Something new was happening every minute, the party did not have a minute of down time. he kept the show going the entire night.

The wedding of Deb and Steve took place at Villa Cortez in beautiful Cabo San Lucas. Alec and I were very excited to shoot the wedding. We not only were hired to capture the wedding with photography but we also shot their wedding video! And it is going to be amazing! Villa Cortez is located on Cabo Del Sol Golf coarse, and over looks the ocean. I had no idea I was dealing with a golf pro. Steve toured 7 years as a professional PGA player!! WOW it was impressive. He even held a golf club different then most, it was an extension of his arm. when he swung his club it was smooth as butter.. I have video as proof! They did not have a sit down dinner but instead decided on appetizers passed around all night. by my friend Dennis Catering . Smart.. Smart. The food was really amazing (no body missed the sit down dinner..) and they focused on a great party!! It was a great party! Located in Cabo San Lucas. Fiesta Americana Resort. Destination beach wedding of Jeanna and Will. Jeanna and Will ( and all the friends and family) were so much fun! Thank you guys for making our day and night so great. It was hard for us to leave at the end.. This was the first of three scheduled weddings Alec & I have at the resort, we were really excited to see what Fiesta Americana had to offer for weddings… SCORE! the beach was beautiful as you can see I posted a photo to show how private it feels and how the rock formation in the ocean makes for fantastic photos. This wedding was coordinated by Jenny at Baja weddings and went perfectly smooth, Thanks Jen, Once again a total pro! I cant wait for you to see all the photos.
