I love these ads because they so clearly communicate a look and feel. It’s more than just buying a Chrysler, it’s buying into a way of life.

Concept: Promote our Taylors Fall Festival to our community

The Back Story: This year Taylors wanted to really push our Fall Festival to our community. We decided to purchase some airtime on our local NBC affiliate and created this :30 second spot and also created some radio spots to advertise to our community, focusing on the people that would be most likely to come.

Concept: Promote our production of “A Time for Christmas” to our community

The Back Story: This Christmas, Taylors is putting on a Broadway-style musical called “A Time for Christmas.” We wanted to do some external advertising for this production so we produced this :30 spot to air on select channels that would be most appealing to theater goers in our community.

Concept: Visually show “our city” in a short video format timed to a song during the MWX

The Back Story: For starters, I must say, I love this video. I am very drawn to the concept of the city and community and urban-ness and it all. And I love the concept of the church as the light to the city. I had been randomly filming shots of the city of Greenville for months… and months. No purpose, but I just love my city. So for the Modern Worship Experience, Scott asked me to produce something that captured Greenville/Taylors/Greer during a song while people were giving clothes and food for the homeless and less fortunate in our city. I was thrilled! So this is what came out of it.

Concept: Explain the Modern Worship Experience Event

The Back Story: We needed to create a video to explain our Modern Worship Experience (MWX) event to the congregation that could be used in Sunday services and online. We setup some lights and drop fabric on our worship center’s stage and I filmed this video with my T2i (with my 24-70 2.8) and the church’s 5D mk II (with a 50mm 1.8). I cut it in a very “revealing” fashion, kind of pulling the curtain back on the lights and main camera.

Concept: Create a transitional video element for the Status sermon series

This was a custom video animation of Facebook-like status updates to introduce sermons in Taylors FBC’s Status series. All artwork (except the profile pictures) was created from scratch to resemble the Facebook status update interface. Created using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects.
