After a very tiring development process which makes me spent almost 6 months in the Korea, i want a nice holiday to relieve my stress. So, at the middle of January,  i went to Kuta Bali for 3 days!

I spent the first night at the Bintang Kuta Bali Hotel. It’s a new hotel which placed right beside Ramada Hotel. It’s a nice hotel and you will have the access to go into Ramada Hotel’s private beach. Well, even though it’s said a private beach, i found it really creepy when i go there. Nobody wash themself on the beach. Or.. Maybe i just come there at the wrong time ^^;;

After having a really nice dinner in Jimbaran and spent one night at Bintang Kuta Hotel, it’s time to move into a even better hotel!
Taking a walk from Bintang Kuta to Mercure Kuta Hotel only take a half hour. And i really love the atmosphere on the way there. So many tourist and lots of nice place to eat.

Mercure Kuta hotel placed right in front of the Kuta beach, so you can go to the beach whenever you want. After checking in, it’s time to spent some time at the sea. Well, since i have some experiences with body surf, i rent one and enjoy some waves!

But.. After an hour, i was tempted to try a surfing board. I want to try it for quite a long time, but never have the courage cause it seems hard to do. But heck, why do i care? Let’s try one!

The lessons i got from being a (wannabe) surfer?
1. The surfing board is heavy! And it is hurt when it hits you ^^;;
2. It’s not easy to bring the board into the sea because the waves will hit you back to the beach @_@
3. It feels really nice when you successfully riding a wave, it feels awesome! But i only managed to do that 2 times from around 10 attempts -____-
4. I think it’s better if you hire a guide ^^;;;; They will help you go to the sea as well as give you some hint about surfing. Since i don’t bring much money (they want around 150,000 IDR), i tried all by myself as well as taking a peek at people who hire a guide :p

After getting tired from the beach, it’s time to try the swimming pool which is placed in the top floor of the hotel. The view is great! Although the water are not as clean as the Bintang Kuta’s pool.

2012 is a year that.. somehow make me losing my self.. I’m started to wondering what is that i really want.. Some of my office’s friends are moving abroad to take the Master degree and one even decided to take the Phd. Another friend also started their own business.. And those things somehow start to make me losing my self. Added the boredom and routines, i’m starting to sick with my current life. Not that i’m ungrateful, i do have lots of thing that i really grateful to the God. However, i feel that i’m starting to derailed from what i really want.

It’s funny actually, seeing all those people that master degree, i’m having desire to take it too (maybe due to my competitive nature). But then again, i don’t like another class in college ~.~ So, what’s exactly what i really want..? After talking with an old friend of mine, i’m started to understand what is going on. When you said a paint is beautiful and then 5 other guys said it is not, i’m sure you will begin to doubt yourself. I think the same situation is happen to me know. I actually already have a destination for my life, but seeing lots of people taking the other direction, it’s kinda make me dubious. But then again, that’s not a bad thing. That means i still have an awareness for my life. It’s just a matter on how i will take it on from here.

And while i still don’t have the details, i do have plan to make 2 big decisions in my next birthday

And now, while it still 50 days ahead, i’m gonna have to start make sure that those decision will be the best choice in my life ^^

PS: And apparently, since i still can wrote this blog post, i’m sure you realized that 2012 it’s not a doomsday ^^;;

Lebaran telah tiba dan bulan Ramadhan baru saja berlalu. Cukup banyak hal yang terjadi padaku di bulan Ramadhan kemarin. Diawali dengan kabar baik sekaligus buruk dari Surabaya. Yakni adikku yang nomer 2 akhirnya keterima kerja di sebuah BUMN setelah hampir setahun masih belum jodoh dengan perusahaan yang dilamar. Tapi kabar ini datang bersamaan dengan adikku yang nomer 3 sakit liver setelah kecapekan mengerjakan tugas akhirnya sebagai seorang calon arsitek.Bulan Ramadhan ini kemudian berlanjut dengan bulatnya tekadku untuk melunasi tanggungan ayahku pada om-ku di Jakarta. Butuh waktu lumayan lama sebenarnya untuk membulatkan tekadku ini, karena nominalnya memang lumayan besar.

Namun aku merasa ditegur dan diingatkan masalah tanggungan ini saat asuransi mobilku kemarin bermasalah. Dan Alhamdulillah, om ku ini ternyata sangat baik. Dia merelakan tanggungan ayahku ke dia, dan dia memintaku untuk menggunakan uang itu untuk membayar tanggungan ayahku ke saudara yang lain (yup, masih ada 2 saudara lagi dengan nominal yang sama). Memang, secara finansial, om saya ini sangat berkecukupan karena saat ini dia menjabat sebagai manajer di salah satu perusahaan telekomunikasi di Indonesia. Lega sekali rasanya setelah om-ku mengatakan hal itu, karena selama ini aku selalu sungkan dengan om ku karena tahu keluargaku masih punya tanggungan. Semoga Allah membalas kebaikanmu om

Dan walaupun tabungan berkurang drastis, akhirnya tanggungan ayahku ke saudaraku tersisa satu saja, Alhamdulillah ^^ Tapi.. Masih ada tanggungan lain yang harus diselesaikan di teman ayahku yang jumlahnya 4 kali nominal tadi ^^;; Semoga adik-adikku segera bekerja sehingga aku bisa lebih tenang dalam mencari jodoh *halah*.

Tapi kesan Ramadhan kali ini tidak berhenti di situ. Dalam keadaan yang sangat kesepian karena baru ditinggal teman sekamar saat di Korea, suatu malam datang kabar buruk yang benar-benar membuatku lemas dan ingin menangis di tempat. Salah satu blogku yang paling menghasilkan di banned dari Google Adsense karena ada posting yang dianggap melanggar copyright. Rasanya hati benar-benar mencelos dan butuh seseorang untuk dijadikan pegangan. Jika kasus yang ini anggapannya sebuah tunas yang mulai tumbuh di injak, kali ini yang kena tebang adalah pohon yang sudah berbuah lebat.

Setelah meratap sedih cukup lama, akhirnya aku mulai mengumpulkan semangat lagi. Memikirkan berbagai skenario terburuk sambil menguatkan hati. Mungkin ini teguran dari Allah agar aku lebih berpijak ke tanah sekaligus menambah ibadahku. Dan keesokan harinya, sepulang dari kantor dengan hati yang lebih tenang, aku mulai merevisi blogku dan menyiapkan appeal-ku agar Google melepas ban. Setelah merasa semua mantab, akhirnya aku men-submit appealku. Sembari menunggu keputusan appeal, aku memulai persiapan plan B ku jika appealnya gagal. Blueprint rencana mulai dibuat dan nama untuk situs baruku sudah kusiapkan. Anehnya, hal ini seakan-akan mengobarkan semangat blogging-ku yang sudah sangat redup ini. Mungkin kabar kemarin memaksaku keluar dari zona nyamanku sekaligus melecut kreatifitas yang mulai terpendam kemalasan.

Setelah 2 hari penuh deg-degan, akhirnya datang juga email dari Google. Sedikit takut untuk membuka email itu, karena sebelum ini sudah pernah mendapat email dengan subyek yang sama, tapi hasilnya ditolak.  Tapi Alhamdulillah, kali ini Google mengabulkan appealku. Aku cuma bisa berpikir ini mungkin teguran dari Allah agar aku selalu rendah hati. Apapun itu, semoga semangat dan kerendahan hati ini terus meresap dan berkobar di diriku

And she’s right. Setelah melihat interiornya, aku langsung jatuh cinta, terutama pada Audio Kit-nya yang mampu menampilkan kamera belakang di layar. Didukung oleh diskon harga yang lumayan banyak, akhirnya aku memutuskan untuk membeli Mazda hari itu juga. Setelah nongkrong sebentar di kafe sambil membulatkan tekad, nelpon ibu sebentar untuk minta doa restu, akhirnya langsung deh minta di antar ke dilernya hari itu juga ^^;;

Kita langsung test drive malam itu juga di dealer mazda Jakarta Selatan yang letaknya 5 menit jalan kaki dari Mall Gandaria. Test Drivenya memakai mobil matic (Automatic Transmition). Kagok juga waktu pertama nyetir, soalnya sudah lama ga pernah megang mobil matic ^^;;

Semula aku prefer Mazda 2 yang warna hijau metalik karena sangat catchy. Tapi setelah melihat Mazda 2 yang putih, ternyata tidak kalah keren dan sepertinya lebih mudah dipindah-tangankan.

Tapi beberapa hari setelah DP, ternyata yang ready stock untuk tipe yang kubeli hanya warna hijau. Tapi gpp lah, awalnya juga aku mau yang warna itu juga

Akhir Desember sebelum berangkat business trip ke Korea lagi, mobil saya diantar ke rumah. Sedih juga cuma bisa melihat bentar, soalnya STNK nya belum jadi, jadi nggak berani dibawa kemana-mana. Tapi sepulang dari business trip bulan Februari kemarin akhirnya aku sudah bisa mencoba mobilnya. Sebenarnya ada sedikit masalah pada urusan asuransi mobilnya, tapi mungkin tidak perlu dibahas di sini deh ^^

Dan yah, tahun ini mungkin lebaranku yang paling sepi selama aku bernafas di muka bumi ini *halah*. Lebaran kali ini mengalahkan lebaran tahun 2009 yang mana pada saat itu aku terpaksa harus tinggal di Korea bersama beberapa teman. Tapi dibanding lebaran itu, lebaran kali ini jauuuuh lebih sepi (dan menyedihkan), karena aku benar-benar sendirian. Jika 3 tahun lalu aku masih bersama 3 orang teman, kali ini aku sendirian. Bahkan saking sepinya sampai aku ga pengen menyetel tivi yang mengingatkan kalau lagi lebaran, karena cuma bikin galau -.-

Yah, tapi setelah menelpon ke rumah, sedikit lega. Awalnya aku sempat berpikir untuk solat Ied di KBRI, tapi kemudian kok ya rasanya sepi-sepi aja kalo ke sana tanpa teman. Jadi mendingan nunggu jam kumpul-kumpul keluarga di Indonesia di hotel terus telpon. Dan, rasanya jauh lebih plong, ngobrol sebentar dengan keluarga plus semua saudara dari ayah (karena hari kedua baru kumpul saudara dari ibu).

Semoga seminggu ke depan lancar dan aku bisa menikmat libur pengganti dengan lancar tanpa gangguan lagi -.- Terakhir dan yang paling penting, minta maaf lahir batin untuk semua ^^ Semoga kita masih diberi kesempatan untuk menikmati lebaran tahun depan..

Setibanya di pulau itu, aku baru sadar bahwa mayoritas pengunjung pulau Macan justru bule! Setelah beberapa saat berkeliling, aku bertemu beberapa pengunjung pulau Macan yang pada saat itu adalah ibu hamil 7 bulan, pasangan eksekutif muda dari Jakarta, pasangan suami (Itali) istri (Estonia) dan kakak cewek sang istri yang dari Estonia juga. Selain itu juga terdapat pasangan dari Austria, keluarga kecil Jepang beserta anak cowok dan ceweknya.

Anyway, kelebihan pulau Macan dibanding resort wisata lain yang pernah aku kunjungi adalah free facilities. Yakni terdapat sebuah Hut yang berisi alat-alat untuk snorkeling maupun bermain kayak. Kita bisa menggunakannya kapan saja selama di pulau itu. Selebihnya, mungkin bisa diceritakan lewat foto-foto

Kita berangkat pagi-pagi untuk menghindari macet, tapi ya tetap kena macet sih akhirnya -.- Singkat kata, akhirnya kita sampai di Puncak *ga nanggung-nanggung nyingkatnya*. Pertama kali bangun di mobil sedikit shock melihat ada orang terbang di pinggir jalan. Keringet dingin langsung mengalir deras dan langsung persiapan untuk batal nyobain. Oh iya, ongkos untuk sekali terbangnya sekitar 350 rb, jadi ya aslinya lumayan juga kalau batal ^^;;

Tapi setelah melihat beberapa orang yang terbang setelah kita, ternyata kok tidak semenakutkan itu. Walhasil, foto-foto dibawah ini berhasil diambil fufufu

Sebenarnya setelah mencoba paragliding ini, phobia ketinggianku berkurang lumayan jauh. Jadi, kalau kamu takut ketinggian nggak salah juga mencoba “olahraga” ini Oh iya lupa bilang, terbangnya sekitar 10-15 menit. Kalau kamu bilang itu terlalu cepat, jangan salah, rasanya lama banget di atas sana ~.~ Belum lagi fakta bahwa ternyata aku juga bisa mabuk udara waktu naik paragliding :hammer: See you on the next post ^^
