The floral print is very trendy this Spring/Summer and you can expect to see yourself wrapped in heavenly fabrics, so why should your feet be treated any differently? It’s amazing the products I discover in my never ending “hair bin.” I was doing some beauty cleaning when I stumbled upon Shea Moisture’s Reconstructive Elixir which was at the bottom of the bin. I’m trying to stay more organized in all areas of my life, but beauty cleanup is a daily process. I can’t believe I forgot how great this product is and why I stopped using it. This is a great product for every day if you prefer a light hair moisturizer. My hair is consistently dry so I’m always looking for oil products that provide my curls the love they need. This elixir contains argan oil which I’m obsessed with it. I can’t get enough of this elixir.

I always have the best time when I visit the New York International Gift Fair. I find so many items for the blog and for the boutique at Tranquil Space. Marq and I spent hours going through the stalls and as always I left a happy lady. Enter Paddywax Wanderlust Candles. The minute I saw them I was head over heels in love. I picked up the Paris (Lavender + Mimosa) and New York (Amber + Patchouli) scents and I’m hooked on both. I definitely plan to replace them once they run out which should be very soon since I light them everyday. Paddywax has blown me away again. They always know how to light my fire.

I have been rewarding myself after my weekend teacher training with a long soak in the tub. Usually my Pandora station is tuned to Carla Bruni and there is a big glass of Malbec involved to ease all the aches and pains. If you practice yoga or any physical activity with a teacher next time after class, thank them. There is a lot of work that goes into being an instructor.

One reward for my big girl bath time is Palatium’s Arancia Dolce Bath Oil. This oil is a treat and I am using it sparingly. The scent is divine and not overpowering. It provides the right amount of softness to my skin and is what I need after 7 hours of sitting, practicing, assisting, and taking in so much information. Hopefully it will last throughout my entire teacher training. But knowing me, I doubt it.

I have been reading and hearing about Urban Decay’s Lip Love products, but it took trying it to make me a believer. The Lip Love was just the product to get me through my busy weekend which included the start of a Level 2 Yoga Teacher Training at my beloved Tranquil Space. I knew it would be intense, but not that intense. My body and mind ached all over from yoga, sitting, and taking in so much information. Instead of packing the lovely Taunted Lip Love, I decided to put Lolita Lip Love on my pout. It’s a moisturizing lip product that isn’t goopy or too tacky. I see why they call it Lip Love. Once you try it, you will definitely be in love with it. I wonder how many tubes I will go through by the time yoga training is over in April. Many more I hope.

It always happens whenever I enter Anthropologie. The desire to buy the entire store. It starts with a dress, but when I enter the beauty or home section the desire intensifies. There I was minding my own sweet little business. I was perusing lounge clothes when I turned and was confronted with another thing of beauty. This time it was Barr-Co. collection by K. Hall Designs. I’m a huge fan of most of her products and these are no exception. They have that my-kitchen-is-in-a-French-farmhouse feel to them. I was gone.

At the New York International Gift Fair on Sunday they were in all their splendor splashed across the K. Hall booth. The scent of the candle is divine and the hand soap and lotion makes me want to spend time in the kitchen just so I can wash my hands. It also has me giddy and dreaming of this house in Provence where I will be spending 10 glorious days on an Art Journal + Yoga retreat in May.

In my quest to wear more red lipstick, I bring you the first red of my 30 Before 40 list. She’s a beauty. Her name is Really Red and she’s by Mary Kay. Don’t go there. I know what you are thinking. Mary Kay? Yes. Mary Kay has done a great 360 and are putting out some amazing products. Let’s start with this Really Red lipstick. This lipstick is creamy, goes on smooth, and has staying power. I have been wearing this every day for a week and I can’t get enough, almost like J. Cole, which is this week’s workout them song. You will see in the the photo.

I have to learn how to take these self-portraits with my iPhone. But here I am rockin’ the Really Red. Have a fun red-lippie filled weekend.

Finally. These are the words that I uttered when I decided it was time I high tail it to a Wanderlust Festival this year. After going back and forth between locations (California, Colorado, & Vermont) I decided it was time to get my pretty girl rocky mountain high on. I will be attending and covering the Wanderlust Yoga + Music Festival this year from the divine Copper Mountain Resort. I’m already thinking of my mountain-yogi-chic look as I type this and which lip glosses can get me through 4 days of yoga fun.

Wanderlust is a Yoga & Music festival with celebrity yoga instructors, cooking demonstrations, main stream artists, and lectures. I’m excited about taking class again with Seane Corn. I seriously love this woman. I remember her Detox Flow class at a conference in 2007. It kicked my butt in the good feeling way. One highlight for me is hearing Ziggy Marley sing to me while practicing yoga. I can already see the happy face and smile I will be wearing listening to “Love is My Religion.” This free spirit plans to soar in the Colorado mountains.

I plan to put some vlogs on the entire festival on the blog. I need to see if one of my yoga friends will be my camera girl.

I don’t know how I came across Sebastian Signs Perfume No. 44, but I am thankful everyday I did. Sebastian Signs is a boutique fragrance company with essential oils and perfumes. I’m a sucker for anything with gardenia and honeysuckle. I can blame the “potion lady” for my addiction. This beautiful scent reminds me of why I love fragrances that are unique. It is always easy to walk into a department store to buy a scent which I do. But, it’s always great to discover a beautiful scent and bring them to my dear readers. I know I have many girls like me who loves something unique.
