Our Christmas celebrations commenced with the Christmas Lights concert. A concert attendee writes 'Didn't think it was possible but even more amazing then last year! Well done to all involved. What a treat. Like opening pressies on Christmas day each act was wrapped differently. As each new act unfolded, we in the audience found ourselves at moments laughing with the comedic elves, joyful rejoicing and singing along, or mesmerized and inspired anew by fresh and exciting takes on well known Christmas Carols and stunning performances of songs which were not only reverent but stirring.' Over 3000 people attended the 2 nights involving over 100 team members from vocalists, musicians, dancers, actors and production crew. Jesus was celebrated spectacularly and many were blessed by this great event.

Our Love Came Down Giving Tree provided the opportunity to shine light and love into the Brisbane community this Christmas. Thank you to all the volunteers involved with making someone's Christmas a little brighter.

Loving on the Single Mums this Christmas

Single Mums from the community and their children were blessed at the annual Christmas Lunch generously donated by Montezuma’s Mount Gravatt. The children loved the face painting, games and pass the parcel and each child was blessed with a special gift. It was great to see the smiles on everyone’s faces. A special thank you to Jamil & Montezuma’s staff and Citipointe Volunteers for being and shining love to these special single mums.

Do you feel a calling on your life to full-time ministry? Do you want to delve deeper into the Word of God? Are you interested in making your career or the market place your ministry? Then Citipointe Ministry College is the place for you.

Citipointe Ministry College offers a wide range of degrees from a Diploma of Ministry (1 yr full-time or equivalent), Diploma of Ministry-Social Justice (1 yr full-time or equivalent), Bachelor of Ministry (2 yrs full-time or equivalent), Graduate Certificate in Ministry Studies (6 months full-time or equivalent), Graduate Diploma in Ministry Studies (1 yr full-time or equivalent) and the Master of Ministry Leadership (4 yrs part-time).

All of our courses (except the Master of Ministry Leadership) are offered both internally (on-campus) and externally (off-campus) and full-time (3-4 units per semester) or part-time (1-2 units per semester) to cater to your study needs.

On the 14th and 15th of September, over 2400 young people packed Citipointe Main Auditorium. With a massive line up including Family Force 5, Young Chozen and Evermore, Citipointe was honoured to host such a significant and life changing event.

Our young Queenslanders were blessed with an inspiring word from Youth Alive Queensland Director, Cameron Bennett. An incredible 723 young people made decisions to follow Jesus!

Citipointe would like to send a big thank you to all who were involved in volunteering and facilitating this impacting event.

September: The Axe – swing or sharpen?

If the Axe is dull and it's edge unsharpened, more strength is needed but skill will bring success

We're busy...there will always be more wood to chop! But we must stay mindful that if we're only busy 'Doing' then we will neglect to stay busy 'Growing'. Most of us have the tendency to keep chop-chop-chopping away at life.

But chopping wood with a sharp Axe is more effective, efficient AND enjoyable than using a blunt one!

Here are some biblical "MUST DO’s"! These are non-negotiables, that they may not feel or appear URGENT, but they are vitally IMPORTANT to our success.

Prayer

Jesus will say to many people who thought they would get to heaven: 'Away from me, I never knew you' (Matt 7:21) What is more important than being known by your saviour!? Yet many of us tend AWAY from prayer than TOWARD it. We neglect our relationship with Jesus because (what we're effectively saying is) other things are more important! They're not! Bill Hybels' 'Too busy not to pray' is a great resource.

Meditate

'His delight is in the law of the LORD and in His law he meditates day and night' (Psalm 1:2) You're not commanded to read the bible but you are commanded to meditate on it. Meditate loosely means to ponder and speak. It is a function of the mind and the mouth. We have to keep scripture in our thoughts and on our tongue. The rewards for meditation are incredible, tangible and you'll notice them very quickly.

Not only will you be prosperous and successful (Joshua 1:5-9) and like a tree planted by the river (Psalm 1:1-3)
You'll also be transformed and be able to better determine the will of God in every circumstance (Romans 12:2)

You're very definition of 'prosperous and successful' will begin to change, you'll tangibly experience the process of transformation as your focus and thinking begins to change your behaviour. Reading your bible is incredibly important as it gives us a greater understanding of the context of scripture but meditation is what we're commanded to do and it will change your life!

Upskill in your gifts

We are all part of a body, we have an assigned role and specific deeds which God has prepared in advance for us to do. Paul exhorted Timothy to not neglect his gift (1Tim 4:14) and the same is true for all of us. We are unique and called to make a difference. God has given us strengths and abilities. We should always be up-skilling in the areas God gifted us. This will ensure that when the times come for us to make a difference we'll be ready to play our part. the last thing you want in a war is to be under-prepared to perform your role at the appointed time!

Make these three things a priority and you'll have the sharpest Axe in town, be getting better results and be improving as a person. You'll also be hearing from God like never before!

Another Father's Day has come and gone, but not without the usual massive Citipointe celebrations of all things men, fathers and boys.

The day included a footy wall, blow up obstacle course, gladiator dual zone, monster truck, ribs & wings for lunch and for the not so faint hearted, a hot wings eating contest.

Hundreds joined in the fun and activities and whether you were a father or not, we celebrate the men in our lives.

Amplified - Catching the Fever of Hope

On Friday, 3rd August 2012, 1006 teenagers took over Citipointe Church, greeted by a jumping castle, fairy floss, slushies and an electric atmosphere.

They streamed into the auditorium, welcomed by two big words - CATCH and HOPE. The air was thick, Jesus was celebrated with a loud roar and the tear-jerkingly hilarious guest speaker, John Morgan brought a word that broke labels of hopelessness off the teenagers of Brisbane & reminded them of the champions that they truly are.

The pinnacle of the night was when 98 young people made a decision to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. They flowed into A2, set up with couches and tables loaded with food, where leaders and youth pastors spoke life into their hearts and prayed with them. The sense of community, love and hope was so tangible. These 98 lives whose eternities have been realigned to Heaven, is WHY Amplified exists - shouting Jesus' name and bringing Heaven to every teenager in Brisbane.

Congratulations to the Citipointe Afrikaans service - once again, taking the Shield with a 19 - 7 win over the Aussies.

Both teams had a huge support base with family, friends and die hard rugby fans out for the beautiful Brisbane weather last Sunday 29th July. Praying in their teams before kick off and praying for the injured afterwards makes this annual event a truly memorable one.

Thanks to all involved. The Aussies are going to be needing that Shield back next year though.

Walk the Talk

Our generation is craving authenticity. They want to see words backed up by deeds, and genuine solutions bringing relief to the needs they see around them.

We live in a day where the bride of Christ, the Church, is poised and ready to move, not just speak. She is rolling up her sleeves, getting her hands dirty, and venturing into territories once unvisited. She is the hope of her world.

Critics have and will argue what she believes, but they cannot dismiss her works. They can debate her doctrine and her teaching, but they cannot excuse away her deeds. How lovely is the one who walks the talk! How transformational is a message made real through action!

I love that Citipointe Church breaks into dark places and delivers hope to the ones and twos, to individuals and families.

Intercepting young lives through Red Frogs programs
Feeding multitudes in high schools every week
Providing emergency relief funding to families in our communities
Rescuing children from trafficking internationally
Providing support to young mums

Time would fail me to list here all the opportunities we have to walk out the Cause of Christ day-by-day, week-by-week, month-by-month.

I count myself blessed to be a part of this move of God into our generation locally, nationally and internationally. I am glad to be positioned in a Church family that answers its critics with fruit. That sees a problem and finds a solution. That takes Church to the streets. That walks the talk.

More than 300 volunteers turned out in force to make a way for the countless life-changing moments that transpired.

Last weekend Citipointe Church was privileged to be able to fling wide our doors and our hearts to literally thousands upon thousands as we partnered with Joyce Meyer Ministries for three days filled with life-bearing Word-based teaching. Hundreds responded to the gospel message, receiving Christ as Saviour. Scores of others were set on their path towards restoration by Joyce's potent message of overcoming fear, trials and regret to live the full life purchased for them through Christ Jesus.

More than 300 volunteers turned out in force to make a way for the countless life-changing moments that transpired. Servanthood is the heart our God commissions us towards. Servanthood is also the undercurrent of our Church vision. Servanthood breaks down barriers, makes a way for others, and influences our world. Servanthood is the unexpected generosity our city and our generation is craving. And we graciously applaud every single volunteer who took up the call to servanthood over the weekend.

Last weekend was yet another step towards seeing Brisbane become the city of God!

There were amazing scenes as people streamed to the front to bring their offering, but also their prayers of faith and hope for breakthrough in their own lives. The act of nailing prayers to the cross signified leaving our prayers at the cross where they belong. Church, we are looking forward to some great testimonies from you of Breakthrough in your life. Wrap Up - Mothers Day

We had a great day celebrating Mothers Day at Citipointe Brisbane. Mothers arrived to a colourful display of hanging lanterns, as toddlers in tu tuus delivered little boxes of chocolates in pink wheelie bins. Add to that a stiring song from Cathy Geeves & Ness Johnson and our mums were left in no doubt as to how much we love and appreciate them. So many mums agreed with the youtube of a mother reminding us that we're all the same.

The best part of the day was the wonderful messages of Ps Leigh Ramsey and Ps Tricia McDonald as they shared the wonderful value of being a mother.

Celebrating Mothers Day at Citipointe Church is truly a lovely way to bring honour to the one we call 'mum'. Its a time for warm thoughts, wonderful memories; the expression of our love and our words, that often go unspoken.

ONE Night - A Teen's Perspective

Friday May 4th was our second Citiyouth ONE Night for 2012. Citiyouth campuses from across Brisbane unite in ONE location, for ONE God! It's amazing what takes place...

Sophie (14yo) writes:

"One night is possibly one of the best nights of the year. It’s an opportunity to meet and get to know people from the other campuses and it’s also a time to meet up with old friends. The atmosphere is always pumping and is just a whole lot of fun. It's a night where us as youth feel that we can express ourselves freely and is always life changing. It inspires us to reach for our dreams and is a chance for us to grow closer to God in an environment that is welcoming and chilled."

Container Is Packed and Ready To Go To Fiji

We're done!

Thank you Citipointe Church, Citipointe Christian College and our local community for your incredible generosity in giving to the flood devastated regions of Fiji.

Our 20ft container has been packed with over 200 boxes, ready to meet the needs as it docks in Port Lautoka. It sails this week.

We're sending our compassion along with the clothing, bedding, sheets and towels, toiletries, shoes and food items; we are blessed to be a blessing.

Wrap Up - Citipointe Property Blitz

A team of incredible volunteers from young to old came to serve the House at our first Property Blitz.

Gardens were weeded, seat pockets were sewn, shelves were built, rooms were painted, storerooms were sorted and tidied, venues were cleaned, the playground was renovated and that is just SOME of the work that was done. Every job completed helped bring our facilities to a whole new level.

A massive THANKYOU to all who sowed their time and talents to serve our amazing House that is Citipointe Church – You are absolute HEROES!

Not long ago we saw the devastation that has affected Fiji for the second time this year and as a church we want to unmistakably influence our world for good and for God.

We have partnered with a charity organization in Fiji who are currently providing meals on a daily basis. They are feeding around 1500 people every day.

More than 12,000 people have been affected and are being housed in evacuation centres and temporary shelters. Many of the communities affected were severely impacted by raging floodwaters earlier this year.

As the flood waters subside, it is becoming increasingly obvious that the displaced Fijian people will be in need of more than just food – they will need clothing, bedding, toiletries etc…

Because of your previous giving to Kingdom Advancers as a church we have already transferred funds to this organization to assist in this food relief.

Wrap Up - Easter Production 2012

The Easter Production, Who I Am, saw huge crowds coming along to see big musical numbers. This was the first year Citipointe has had to run a Production over two nights and to ticket the event, due to the massive crowds. With a mix between the modern and Jesus’ day, the story of the the death and resurrection of Christ was brought home with compelling emotion.

Easter is truly about the love our God has for us and this has to be the greatest love story ever told. It was a great opportunity for our church and community to stop and consider the incredible sacrifice that He made. Thanks to all the cast, crew and production team for presenting a night that so encouraged the hearts of our Church to connect with God this Easter.

What an incredible opportunity we had to influence our world for good and for God in December with our annual Christmas Hampers. A total of 265 Christmas Hampers were delivered out to Citipointe North, West, Kids Hope, Salvation Army, and many grateful families across the city of Brisbane. Thank you to all the amazing volunteers who came and served their community on this day.

These ancient geographical locations are portrayals of the different sphere's of influence that we are to have as the Body of Christ. The Church is not meant to be 'the church' only within the four walls of a sanctuary, but rather to be the 'light to this world' and the 'salt of the earth'.

In addition we believe that a disciple, at this House of God, is a person that... Loves God, Engages Somebody, Serves Generously, Connect Together and Discple Others. We are here to make a difference and bring good & God to this world.

Hands of Hope - Update

The Hands of Hope Flood Relief program continues working and helping in the lives of those devastated by the recent floods in Brisbane.

The Citipointe "Hubs", a place where the local could come and grab a bite to eat, tell us if they needed help, or just have a seat and a chat with someone, were a great success. Now we have moved on to pinpointing the individual and meeting specific needs.

There's no more cleaning, but we have two projects and a Hub reunion coming up. On Saturdays, we're working at connecting individuals with volunteers to help get the job done. We're going back to check on those we helped in the first place.

Thanks Citipointe for everything you have given, money you have donated, time you have spent... there are many people across Brisbane whose lives are significantly better because you cared.

We'll keep you up to date with how the program is going.

Our amazing Ministry College and Christian Heritage College are open for new enrolments for 2012.

We are now offering two new courses the Diploma of Ministry - Social Justice (1yr FT) and the Master of Ministry Leadership (4yrs PT) along with the Diploma of Ministry Studies (1yr FT), Bachelor of Ministry (3yrs FT) and Post Graduate Ministry Studies for people who see their profession as their ministry.

CHC also offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees in Business, Education and Social Science. There is the flexibility to study full-time, part-time and via external studies.

January 21st

Our hubs are continuing tomorrow to provide a BBQ, water, and cleaning assistance to locals and workers within the area.

How to help this Saturday

1. Assisting at the hubs

This will require people that are willing to help with the BBQ, help residents continue with the cleaning of houses & businesses, or driving food and resources to the allocated hubs.

The following hubs will be up and running between approximately 6:30am and 3pm:

Graceville- Corner of Hargreaves & Leybourne Streets
River Hills- Corner of Juba & Bogong Streets
Fairfield- Corner of Venner Road & Fairfield Road

2. Collecting and Distributing the "baskets of hope"

We will also be distributing the "baskets of hope" between 10am and 2pm. We require volunteers that are willing to drive to the hubs and deliver the baskets to the families in need. If you are available to help with this please come to Citipointe Carindale at 10am (322 Wecker Road, Carindale).

We are postponing the structural rebuilding of businesses and homes until next Saturday when we have our most effective plan in place. We will keep you updated during the week as to this plan and how you can be involved. If you have not yet registered for this please fill in your details on our latest volunteer form.

We appreciate the amazing efforts of our volunteers so far and look forward to the continued partnership as we unmistakably influence our world for good and for God.

January 19th

Our Hubs continued today in Fairfield and Graceville continuing to provide much needed water and BBQ to the locals and workers.

We were also able to provide some assistance to those still needing a hand with cleaning.

From tomorrow, our Hubs will be closed, but on the weekend, we’re going to spring into action again, focusing help on where it is needed most.

Flood Relief - Someone Who Needs a Hand Form

2. Baskets of Hope:

We are partnering with an initiative by one of our members, called Baskets of Hope. It’s an amazing concept to give to the flood victims a basket of essential items to help them get back on their feet. If this is something you think you can do, please feel free to get involved.

The concept is simple: Fill laundry baskets full of essential items and get them to the people that need them most after the recent Brisbane/Ipswich floods.

To make a basket, follow these simple steps. These items are essential for a household that is restarting.

Step 1

Start by getting a laundry basket!

Step 2

Fill the laundry basket with items (New items only) like...
Laundry items: powder, sponges, mosquito repellent, cleaning products
Bathroom: deodorant, shampoo/conditioner, soap, body wash, razors, sanitary items, loofas, tissues, toothbrushes, hand towels, toilet paper
Kitchen: Utensils, Mugs, Tea towels, Tea, Coffee, Cups, Treats, Biscuits, Lollies,
Incidentals: Notebooks, Pens
Something to treasure - These people have lost everything, a nice touch is to add something they can remember your kindness by

Once your basket is full, if possible, use plastic wrap to secure it from the elements.

As part of the Baskets of Hope program – we are collecting completed baskets this Saturday 10am – 2pm downstairs in L1. (It’s on the western side of the Main Auditorium, downstairs next to the Church Offices). If you are able to prepare a basket, you can drop it off to the church between these hours and we’ll get it out to those who need it. If you are able to take some baskets around the streets to the residents, please let the organizers know when you arrive. We’d love any driving help too.

January 18th

With temperatures in the 30s today, it was a great day to hand out water and continue providing much needed food to the locals, Army and Emergency Services. There are still occasional home owners out there, approaching us or we find them, who need our help in the clean up. Volunteers, you are our hands and feet, but also our eyes and ears – we need to know of anyone affected by these floods so we can continue to help. These are the main needs for Tuesday:

Some Volunteers to take the food and drinks around to the home owners and volunteers, but there is some cleaning left to do.
Drivers to take food and supplies to the Hubs from Citipointe. Please call Jason directly on 0402 907 608 if you can help.
Office volunteers - anyone who can come into our office to assist Jason in getting supplies out. 0402 907 608

January 16th

Well done again Citipointe Volunteers! What a great Sunday.

Today, the army, the council volunteers and individual volunteers, were all coming to our Hubs asking directions and offering help. The Fairfield Hub alone has had 500 volunteers sign on Saturday and 490 today. The Army had told our Citipointe workers to just say "I'm with Citipointe Red Frogs" and they would be let through.

Our Hubs have taken on a life of their own and because of such, we've decided that we have to keep some Hubs active, at least for the short term.

These are the main needs for Monday:

Volunteers to clean and also take the food and drinks around to the home owners and volunteers, right in their homes.
Drivers to take food and supplies to the Hubs from Citipointe. Please call Jason directly on 0402 907 608 if you can help.
Office volunteers - anyone who can come into our office to assist Jason in getting supplies out. 0402 907 608
Bottled water supplies are low - donations of bottled water greatly appreciated. Bring to the Hub or to the Church.
We're still taking baked goods, at the church, until Tuesday. We're running out. Please, only muffins, cookies and slices - all uniced. No tupperware. Unfortunately we cannot return containers.

Just a reminder, you need to wear sturdy boots, wear strong gloves and bring thick bristled brooms and shovels.

January 15th

Well done Citipointe Volunteers.

Today was an amazing day! Over 500 people attended the Fairfield Hub to assist those in need, while too numerous to count, the Sherwood, Graceville and West End Hubs were well attended also. The work is certainly getting done fast! The heart felt thanks of the home owners is reiterated over and over again to all Brisbane City volunteers.

Now that most of these properties have had their contents removed and houses hosed out, the owners are starting to look for privacy in order to comprehend the true extent of their situation. This has all happened so very quickly due to the incredible response of volunteers everywhere.

Tomorrow (Sunday) will be the last day for Citipointe Hubs as we have completed the weekend task of helping out the rest of Brisbane clean up. We're going to have three Hubs, open 7am - 4.30pm and all assistance is greatly appreciated. Note that if you do come, depending on the home owner need, you may be cleaning out homes or helping look after other volunteers:

Fairfield Hub - Cnr Fairfield and Venner Sts
St Lucia - Cnr Coldridge and Carmody Sts
Graceville - Cnr White and Verney Sts **
**NB If army personnel stop you, tell them you're working with the Citipointe Red Frog Hub.

If you just turn up at the Hub in between these hours, someone will direct you to those in need.

Please note, you need to wear sturdy boots, wear strong gloves and bring thick bristled brooms and shovels. Also, if you can provide water or can bring or buy any bottles of water, it would be appreciated.

From Monday, if you know someone who could use a little extra hand with cleaning up or washing out etc... then please let us know by filling in their details so we can come and help them. We don't want to miss anyone.

Sunday are our normal Church services, as we pray for Brisbane and those affected by the floods. Please come for your regular services, but make your way to a Hub at other times.

January 14th...

Hi Citipointe,

This flood crisis is slowly getting better, but the real work is now going to begin. As you will be aware, we have to wait for the waters to recede and for the authorities to give us permission to go in and help people. There are streets already that we have had access to – if it’s one thing we can do, we will do it and do it now.

This weekend is our Hands of Hope - Flood Relief Weekend.

Keeping you up to date:

Friday Night 14th January

Brisbane 7pm Service in A2 – please come and pray for our city.

Saturday 15th January

During the day, we encourage anyone who can or wants to, to turn up at the Hubs, make yourself known and get your hands dirty.
Tasks on the streets and in the houses at this point may include hosing houses and removing furniture.
The Hubs are open from 6am – 7pm daily until further notice.
What to bring/wear: appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear or gum boots and bring with you anything you think might be helpful in a clean-up, eg buckets, rags, garbage bags etc… Also mosquito repellant and sunscreen.
Parents: We are offering childminding Sat 9am-1pm so u can also get out into the community. Toddlers - Primary Ages.

Four Hubs open today from 6am - 7pm:

Fairfield Hub - Cnr Fairfield and Venner Sts
Sherwood – Cnr Johnstone and Plumer Sts **
West End – Cnr Boundary and Melbourne Sts
Graceville - Cnr White and Verney Sts **

** You can get to the Sherwood and Graceville Hubs via Fairfield Rd, turning right onto Tennyson Memorial Drive.

Sunday 16th January

Any times on this day that you are free, please come back to the Hubs and follow the directions above as to what to bring and where to come. Hubs this day open from 6am - 4.30pm.

January 21st

Our hubs are continuing tomorrow to provide a BBQ, water, and cleaning assistance to locals and workers within the area.

How to help this Saturday

1. Assisting at the hubs

This will require people that are willing to help with the BBQ, help residents continue with the cleaning of houses & businesses, or driving food and resources to the allocated hubs.

The following hubs will be up and running between approximately 6:30am and 3pm:

Graceville- Corner of Hargreaves & Leybourne Streets
River Hills- Corner of Juba & Bogong Streets
Fairfield- Corner of Venner Road & Fairfield Road

2. Collecting and Distributing the "baskets of hope"

We appreciate the amazing efforts of our volunteers so far and look forward to the continued partnership as we unmistakably influence our world for good and for God.

January 19th

Our Hubs continued today in Fairfield and Graceville continuing to provide much needed water and BBQ to the locals and workers.

We were also able to provide some assistance to those still needing a hand with cleaning.

From tomorrow, our Hubs will be closed, but on the weekend, we’re going to spring into action again, focusing help on where it is needed most.

2. Baskets of Hope:

The concept is simple: Fill laundry baskets full of essential items and get them to the people that need them most after the recent Brisbane/Ipswich floods.

To make a basket, follow these simple steps. These items are essential for a household that is restarting.

Once your basket is full, if possible, use plastic wrap to secure it from the elements.

Wednesday in the Hubs

We will be operating two Hubs tomorrow, Wednesday at the following places:

Fairfield Hub - Cnr Fairfield and Venner Sts - 7am – 3pm
Graceville - Leybourne St (Oxly Sailing Club) - 9am -3pm

If you are able to come and help at the Hub, or can be ready to help with any locals who need it, we’d love to see you. Just turn up.

Today was a day to feed the locals, Army and Emergency Services, as well as more cleaning.

These are the main needs for Tuesday:

Some Volunteers to take the food and drinks around to the home owners and volunteers, but there is some cleaning left to do.
Drivers to take food and supplies to the Hubs from Citipointe. Please call Jason directly on 0402 907 608 if you can help.
Office volunteers - anyone who can come into our office to assist Jason in getting supplies out. 0402 907 608
Bottled water supplies are low - donations of bottled water greatly appreciated. Bring to the Hub or to the Church.

January 16th

Well done again Citipointe Volunteers! What a great Sunday.

Our Hubs have taken on a life of their own and because of such, we've decided that we have to keep some Hubs active, at least for the short term.

These are the main needs for Monday:

Volunteers to clean and also take the food and drinks around to the home owners and volunteers, right in their homes.
Drivers to take food and supplies to the Hubs from Citipointe. Please call Jason directly on 0402 907 608 if you can help.
Office volunteers - anyone who can come into our office to assist Jason in getting supplies out. 0402 907 608
Bottled water supplies are low - donations of bottled water greatly appreciated. Bring to the Hub or to the Church.
We're still taking baked goods, at the church, until Tuesday. We're running out. Please, only muffins, cookies and slices - all uniced. No tupperware. Unfortunately we cannot return containers.

Dear Church,

As Brisbane continues to suffer major flooding to much of its inner suburbs, we have made the decision to cancel the upcoming Influencer's Conference this weekend.

As a church we want to be positioned and available to help our city. Right now, we're out on the streets offering a helping hand, providing a welcome BBQ break and moral support to those who need it. I would love for you to be involved. You are a generous church and I know, passionate about this city. If you can help by donating money, or can come and help in the suburbs, make sure you let us know by filling in your details.

As you are aware, we are experiencing difficult times in Brisbane at the moment.

As a church it's time for us to unmistakably influence our world for Good and for God.

Our city needs us and we want to be there to do whatever we can to help. We're planning to set up a number of stations in the suburbs that will care for our city.

The purpose of these stations will be to:

Increase morale
Provide basic nourishment (Sausage sizzle and hot and cold drinks)
To serve as a home base for our volunteers

Thank you for your incredible response to our call for volunteers. It's great news that the water levels were not as high as expected and that the number of homes affected has been scaled down.

Due to this news, we will not need to organise volunteers according to the specific 6 hourly time period at this point.

At present time we have BBQ stations in Darra (Juba St Riverhills), Fairfield (cnr Fairfield and Venner St) and Bulimba (Oxford St Park) which are running well and we're getting to know the locals. When the waters recede we will be looking at how we can help with the clean up and that's when we'll need you. Please look out for our emails and follow us on Twitter and Facebook for updates.

Celebrating 10 Years

Now a church of over 5000 members, meeting in three locations, we've definitely got something to celebrate!

A party ten years in the making. We are celebrating Mark and Leigh Ramsey and their decade as Senior Pastors of Citipointe Church. With a vision to "unmistakably influence our world for good and for God", we've seen thousands of people come to know Christ and testimonies to the incredible, healing power of God over this time. Now a church of over 5000 members, meeting in three locations, we've definitely got something to celebrate!

As a campus, we have so much more to celebrate - Christian Heritage College, Citipointe Childcare and Citipointe Christian College - 32 years old and with a Headmaster of 29 years receiving his Silver Service Award. We can't wait to say thank you, so let the celebrations begin!

Starting on Saturday, 9th October, from 2pm - 8.30pm, it's the School's Family Fun Day, with rides, stalls and entertainment galore. Then on Sunday, all daytime church services are meeting in one place at the one time - on the 10th of the 10th of the 10th at 10am! We're all getting together to have a party worth throwing - and you're invited!

Fort Collins Launches

The wait is over. No more counting down. It’s official and we’re excited. Citipointe’s newest campus, right here in Fort Collins, Colorado, USA has begun and we’re waiting and expectant for God to move.

After months of planning and painstaking preparation, Senior Pastor Mark Ramsey and Executive Pastor Mike Mulheran from the Citipointe Church in Brisbane Australia, came to preach up a storm and officially open the newest member of the Citipointe family.

Ps Mike was heard to say, "Look out Fort Collins. Citipointe has arrived. I love that right around the world, people are affecting their world for good and for God. The mandate that God has placed on this church never changes."
