A file was accidently deleted on my computer...when I retsarted, Windows would not start up because of this missing file..will this boot help my problem?

You are all complete idiots learn how to read. If you can`t figure out how to get a op. sys. on your pc you don`t belong behind one. This is a repair file with a boot image for DOS startup you know when your pc won`t boot. If you want a good iso burning file i would say try alchol 120%. And if you want an op. sys. try a bit torrent but you prolly wont ever figure that out either. PEICES

I put the floppy disk that I downloaded in when it asked to insert boot diskette in drive a: and it said the following file is missing or corrupted:COMMAND.COM Type the name of the Command Interpreter (e.g., C: \WINDOWS\COMMAND.COM) WHAT WENT WRONG?????? PLEASE HELP

I startedup the other computer at the a: drive it asking for a command . what do I write ?

How can we get the windows startup to load if drives are already formatted boot disk are on the floppy and the installtion disk is in the drive installation will not start

Hi everyone grate site

I have downloaded the XP home boot disc's can anyone please please tell me how do i make them readerble to my pc from a cd-rom

Now i have downloaded the XP home boot disc's i have nero do i exstract them before adding them to disc please help im stuck how do i copy them to disc or discs so i have a copy i realy need them to fix pc's i have as the one im on is realy old and slow and my mates pc needs fixing up and will need a full reinstallation of the boot disc's can any one give me some advice where i can get the downloads free please!!!

Please reply anytime i realy need the info thinking of starting the fix pc's trade but need to know what discs i need and where i can get them free if possible

Bit Torrent is not illegal. If you have a right to use the file you download, like a backup, there's no problem. Where people get into trouble is downloading copyrighted material they didn't pay for or otherwise acquire a license or right to use.
