UK Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations 2-5 May 2012

The Queen's reign of the 60 Years Diamond Jubilee 2012 celebrations will centre UK regarding an extended weekend in 2, 3, 4 and 5 June 2012 to historical public programs.

2-5 June 2012: The central weekend
Communities all about the United Kingdom will be celebrating over an extensive bank holiday weekend, as well as there will be various ways to get involved in local events.

2 June 2012: The Epsom Derby
On Saturday 2nd June 2012, The Queen Elizabeth II will attend the Epsom Derby. For more information visit the website of Epsom Downs.

Sunday 3 June2012: Big Jubilee Lunch
The 4th annual Big Lunch will take place on Sunday - so any person who wishes to celebrate the Jubilee can do so by holding a Big Jubilee Lunch.

Sunday 3 June 2012: Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant
More than a thousand boats will get together on the river as The Queen prepares to lead one of the biggest flotillas ever seen on the River Thames.

The Diamond Jubilee festival tickets are still available in London's Battersea Park, which will offer a great vantage point to view the pageant. The festival will celebrate music, art, film, design, fashion and food from the past 60 years. Members of the public will also be able to watch the display on a number of big screens.

Monday 4 June 2012: Concert at Buckingham Palace
The concert will be attended by The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh and other members of the Royal Family organised by the BBC.

Monday 4 June 2012: Jubilee Beacons
Thousands of beacons will be lit around the world to commemorate The Queen's 60 year reign over the UK and as head of the Commonwealth.

Tuesday 5 June 2012: Service of thanksgiving and carriage procession
The UK Queen and other family members of the Royal Queen will be present at a national service of thanksgiving at St.Paul’s Cathedral. This event will add a prayer written, at The Queen’s direction, by the Chapter of St Paul’s Cathedral in honour of the 60 years Diamond Jubilee. A ‘Diamond Choir’ of children from about the UK will sing a particularly composed song.

Buckingham Palace has published full details of the processional route, and the events will be shown on big screens in Hyde Park, St James's Park and Trafalgar Square.

Lil Wayne, Tyga, DJ Khaled, Lil Twist, Teairra Mari, and Mack Maine hosted the 2011 Grammys after-party at Club Playhouse on 13 th February. In this video above, you can see them all partying it up to some of Weezy‘s older hits like Hustler Musik, Earthquake, Mrs. Officer, and Drake and Nicki Minaj’s Moment 4 Life and Up All Night collaborations.
