Naruto Uzumaki Face Drawings

2016-08-11T03:56:00.000-07:00

Here are the Naruto drawings I made a few years back. Based on the quality of images in my previous Naruto sketches posts, I decided to post them over again in a better resolution this time.

All Naruto drawings made with a regular pencil on sheets of a regular drawing pad. Here's the first one featuring a smiling Naruto. Hope that cheers you up!

Honestly, I messed this one up. But I am sharing it anyways and call it the very angry Naruto!

This one may look angry in the first instance but is more of a calm and serious Naruto. Something you should be right before a fight. In this pencil drawing of Naruto, I have left the face too light in contrast to the dark clothing.

The best friends and the best rivals at same time! It's Sasuke Uchicha and Naruto Uzumaki all set to take on each other in this next pencil drawing.

Naruto without the head band and that look on his face? You know you are in trouble if he is looking at you right now. Also, that wraps up the last of the Naruto sketches I have made.

Angry Birds Paintings Collection

2015-07-28T13:57:00.000-07:00

After a long break, I am back to present you with another collection of characters, this time from the popular game: Angry Birds

Some basic info:

Tools used: Water pencils, Sketch pen (black)
Duration: 15-25 minutes per character
Completed on: August 2013

Looking at the date from 2013, you can tell that this is just an old collection of paintings that are being posted now. Actually, my previous post with Naruto sketches was made after this one. But, I didn't publish it because it wasn't complete. I had what I am posting now: the red, green and pink birds along with the green pig. I wanted to create a small blue bird, the large red bird and the triangular yellow bird. I never completed the project and hence never shared it. But now I am sharing it with a hope that I will have a part 2 with the rest of the birds or even more at some point of time in future. I hope you enjoy it, share it with your friends if you like it.

Xmen Origins Wolverine Sketch

2012-07-30T03:38:00.001-07:00

Logan / Wolverine

Before we start talking about my sketch of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine or Logan, let's talk about what Wolverine is? Wolverine is actually an animal, which is the largest Carnivore among the family of weasels. Wolverine is very powerful and can kill prey much larger than itself. Maybe that's the reason for giving the name Wolverine to this high strength character in X-Men comics. Wolverine, as we today know in movies, originated from a fictional character in Marvel comics.
Wolverine is a mutant with retracting claws, great senses and healing capabilities. Wolverine has appeared as a part of various different series like Avengers and X-Men. Wolverine first appeared in 'The Incredible Hulk' comic series. In that comic there is probably a fight between Hulk and Wolverine. The sketch i have made is from the movie 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' released in 2009. Wolverine played by Hugh Jackman has many more names in the movie. As a child, Wolverine is called as James Howlett. He is called Jimmy by his brother Victor. He is often called as Logan which derives from his father's last name. He gives himself the name Wolverine after his girlfriend tells him about Wolverine. When William Stryker successfully performs an experiment and makes Wolverine almost non-destructible, Logan is named as Weapon X. The biggest difference i noticed about Wolverine in the X-men movies and the comics is that he doesn't wears a mask in the movies whereas he does so everywhere else. As Wolverine is played by Hugh Jackman, so i may call my Wolverine's sketch as Hugh Jackman's sketch too.

The Sketch of Wolverine

Wolverine Sketch

Here's the sketch of Wolverine. Made like all my other sketches, outlined with a pencil. Then filling the free drawn sketch with pencil shading. That's all i have to say about Wolverine and the sketch of Wolverine. I am adding a video of making of this Wolverine sketch. Please watch the video and make some comments. Thanks for reading.

City Under Clouds

2012-07-29T01:54:00.004-07:00

City Under Clouds Sketch

Alright, a new sketch from the collection of imaginary drawings in my sketchbook. I made a city inspired from a wallpaper on my desktop. I made a big water body or an ocean which reflects the whole city. That was all my plan for the City sketch. But it felt like a lot of empty space still left. So i thought of making something above the city so i can create its shadow in the ocean and fill all the space left on the paper. I first thought of birds but later thought of something that will fill all of the sketch and hence i made clouds. I made dark clouds ready to rain anytime. Its like a big storm is coming. A time just before it starts raining with heavy winds blowing. Just like most of my sketches its made with a single pencil and free hand drawing technique. That's all for the City Under Clouds sketch. Leave some comments. Thanks for reading.

Sketches of Squall Leonhart

2012-06-16T09:19:00.000-07:00

Squall Leonhart

Squall Leonhart is the main Protagonist of the famous Final Fantsay VIII, a console based RPG (role playing game) made by Square Enix. Squall stands 5 feet 10 inches, long hair and a scar across brow and bridge of his nose. Squall Leonhart character of Final Fantasy is considered as a lone wolf as he never shows his feelings. Squall has also appeared in other games like Chocobo racing, Itadaki Street Special and Kingdom Hearts.

Gunblade

One of the most famous things about Squall Leonhart is his super powerful weapon, the 'GUNBLADE'. The holding part of the weapon is a gun and the blade as the rest of the weapon, hence the name GUNBLADE. Alright, lets talk about the sketches of Squall i have made so far.

Sketch 1 of Squall Leonhart

Sketches of Squall Leonhart

This is the first sketch of Squall Leonhart i have made. It is one of the finest sketches in my sketchbook. I love Squall's character from Final Fantasy, his attitude and fighting style are awesome. This sketch was not an easy one. But the more difficult it is, better results we get. Difficult sketches consume more time also, but are worth it. When i draw a complex and time consuming sketch, i am really excited while drawing, as i will get a good sketch after its complete. In this sketch, hair were a little difficult part. His dress and eyes look nice. I love his scar, it adds to his attitude. I made this with simple pencil shading technique, i draw the outline of Squall Leonhart and filled Squall's sketch with pencil shading. That's it for the first sketch of Squall, see my second sketch of Squall Leonhart below.

Sketch 2 of Squall Leonhart

Here's the second sketch of Squall Leonhart. Again made with pencil shading. Firstly, draw the outline of the Squall's face and then fill the sketch with pencil shading. I'll post more sketches and paintings of Squall Leonhart as soon as i draw more. For now, just enjoy these two sketches. To get a clear view of Squall's sketches, click on the images and view them full size. Do not forget to comment on the post and follow the blog. That's all about the sketches of Squall Leonhart from my sketchbook, thanks for reading.

Sketches of Monkey D. Luffy

2012-06-16T08:30:00.001-07:00

MONKEY D. LUFFY

Monkey D. Luffy

Luffy is the main protagonist of the famous Anime and Manga series 'One Piece' written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. Monkey D. Luffy is the son of Army Commander Monkey D. Dragon. Luffy's aim is to become the King of Pirates and get the legendary treasure of Pirate King Gol D. Roger. Monkey D. Luffy builds up a crew to accomplish this mission. His crew members are Roronoa Zolo, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Tony Tony Chopper, Nico Robin, Franky and Brook. This awesome anime always makes me to draw it and hence i have drawn some sketches of Mokey D. Luffy.

Sketch 1 of Monkey D. Luffy

Sketches of Monkey D. Luffy

No better character to draw from Anime 'One Piece', than the protagonist himself. Monkey D. Luffy is funny and cool character in One Piece. Luffy finds and builds up his crew in the Anime to accomplish his dream of becoming the Pirate King. I have drawn this sketch of Monkey D. Luffy with the help of a pen. The light shading onto the Luffy's sketch is done also with the pen. Skinny body, the Hat and the cut under his eye are the main characteristics of Monkey D. Luffy. So far i have just this one and one more sketch posted below of Monkey D. Luffy to show, but i'll surely draw Luffy and other characters of One Piece very soon. So, i'll post more sketches and paintings of One Piece very soon.

Sketch 2 of Monkey D. Luffy

Here's the second sketch of Monkey D. Luffy. This one is made with pencil. Again showing the characteristics of Monkey D. Luffy like skinny body, Hat and cut under his eyes. So, these are the two sketches of Monkey D. Luffy from the famous Anime 'One Piece'. That's it for the One Piece sketches for now. Thanks for reading. Sketch of InuYasha

2012-06-16T06:50:00.001-07:00

InuYasha

Inuyasha is a character from the Japanese Manga series 'InuYasha' written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi. Inuyasha manga was later designed into two Anime series. Inuyasha's Anime series was created in two parts. First series contained the starting parts of the Inuyasha's manga series. Second series shows the ending parts of Inuyasha manga series. The Anime series of Inuyasha was aired on Animax tv channel. Four movies based on Inuyasha were also produced. Inuyasha movies were directed by Toshiyo Shinohana.

Sketch of InuYasha

I have been into Anime sketching for a long time. I don't remember when was the first time i draw an Anime. But, i used to draw simple outline drawings either Anime or any other drawing. But then i tried pencil shading to add more life to my sketch. This sketch of Inuyasha was my first attempt to add pencil shading to my regular Anime sketches. Inuyasha is a very interesting character to draw, he has big shining eyes, long hair and a powerful sword as his weapon. To draw Inuyasha, i just searched for an image and made a sketch of the first image i came across. You can view my sketch on left hand side and click on the image to enlarge it. Eiffel Tower Painting

2012-06-07T07:28:00.000-07:00

Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower

Eiffel Tower, the most visited paid monument in the world. French name 'La Tour Eiffel' is made from puddle iron lattice and is located in Champ de Mars, Paris, France. Eiffel Tower was built in 1889 and remained the tallest building on earth from 1889 to 1930. Eiffel tower stands at the height of 320m i.e. 1050 ft. Eiffel Tower is named after Engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower. Eiffel Tower was opposed by French artists before and during its construction. The puddle iron used for building Eiffel Tower weighs over 7,300 tonnes. Around 50 tonnes of paint is applied in every seven years to the Eiffel Tower to prevent it from rusting. Tourists from all over the world visit Eiffel Tower along with the other famous landmarks like Cathedral of Notre Dame and the Louvre in France. After its opening on 31st March, 1889, Eiffel Tower has received more than 200,000,000 visitors. All these facts are enough to inspire me to draw the magnificent and artistic Eiffel Tower.

Eiffel Tower Sketch

The Eiffel Tower Sketch

I made this Eiffel Tower sketch around a year ago. I made it with a sketch pen and i felt it was good when i made it. I made it with free hand drawing and looking at a simple drawing of Eiffel Tower in a book. But few days back, when i looked at it, i thought that its not good enough and i need to draw Eiffel one more time. First, i thought of a pencil sketch, but as i am practicing my painting skills these days, so i decided to make a painting of the Eiffel Tower. So, that's the painting that this post is all about.

The Eiffel Tower Painting

Eiffel Tower Painting

Here is my Eiffel Tower Painting. Of course, not a perfect one or even good but fine if you have just started to paint. It was like my Eiffel Tower sketch mixed up with my painting practice, so forgive my bad painting skills. I made the outline of the Eiffel Tower with a normal pencil and then filled the Eiffel Tower and the surroundings with the help of paint brushes and using water color tubes. To get a little idea about drawing Eiffel Tower and to see the steps i followed in making the Eiffel Tower painting, view the video on the bottom of this post. That's it for the Eiffel Tower painting. Thanks for reading.

Yu Gi Oh GX Duel Academy Sketches

2012-05-30T01:50:00.001-07:00

YU-GI-OH GX DUEL ACADEMY

Yu Gi Oh GX Duel academy is a Japanese anime series, sequel to the famous Yu-Gi-Oh series. Yu-Gi-Oh GX features a academy where students are trained to improve their dueling skills. The academy contains three dorms depending upon weak students and superior students. These dorms are Slifer Red, Ra Yellow and Obelisk Blue dorms. Our hero of this anime Jaden Yuki and his friends Syrus Truesdale, Chumley Huffington and Gerard are in Slifer Red dorm. Bastion Misawa is in Ra Yellow. Alexis Rhodes, Zane Truesdale and Chazz Princeton are in Obelisk Blue dorm.
Yu Gi Oh GX Duel Academy is also famous as a video game for GameBoy Advance console. The game is called Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters GX: Mezase Duel King in Japan. The game has the same characters and awesome Duels to do with various Yu Gi Oh GX characters. That's enough for the introduction. Now, let's talk about sketches.

Sketch of Jaden Yuki

Yu-Gi-Oh Sketch - Jaden Yuki

The awesome Jaden Yuki deserves his sketch to be drawn. Jaden Yuki is cool minded and funny in nature. He is also the best duelist in the academy. Jaden Yuki uses Elemetal deck full of Elemetal heroes. His best pal from the cards is Winged Karibuh and his very Elemental Hero is Elemental Hero Flame Wingman. Jaden Yuki's sketch was not too difficult to make. I used simple pencil shading. This sketch was made looking at one of the starting videos of the series after Jaden won his duel. Hope you like the Jaden's sketch.

Sketch of Syrus Truesdale and Jaden Yuki

Yu-Gi-Oh Sketch - Syrus Truesdale and Jaden Yuki

Syrus Truesdale and Jaden Yuki are in same dorms. They become best friends in the series. When they reach their Slifer Red dorm for the first time, they see Chumley Huffington. Looking at Chumley's Koala like face all of a sudden they got shocked. At that moment in the anime, i made this sketch. The sketch was a little difficult compared to the sketches i generally draw. The details like mouths, hands need to be drawn carefully. While i was making this sketch with full concentration and spirit, i knew i'll make it good. Hope you like the sketch of Jaden Yuki with Syrus Truesdale.

Yu-Gi-Oh Paintings - The Elementals

Another art i made from Yu-Gi-oh anime series. This time i din't made a direct drawing from Yu-Gi-Oh GX Duel Academy but i got inspired from the series. I could have shared this drawing in some other post but i think Yu-Gi-Oh GX needs to be credited for the painting. I made this painting by inspiring from the deck of a Yu-Gi-Oh GX's character Bastion Misawa. Bastion uses these type of monsters for his duels and i called them elementals because they sort of represent the water element and the Fire element. I am just a Sketch Artist, i never make paintings. But i do not want to became a Sketch Artist who cannot paint at all. So, its one of the practice paintings that i am making these days.

That's all for Yu-Gi-Oh GX sketches. Thanks for visiting the blog and reading the post.

Sketching the Shadows of Life

2012-05-27T06:06:00.000-07:00

Shadows of Life Sketch

Shadows of Life sketch

Another sketch from my sketchbook. the shadows of life. It's a drawing from my imagination in which i draw various people doing various activities in their lives. One thing i can do easily is draw the shadows of the characters or other things easily that look similar to the original drawing. In this simple drawing, i draw six pieces of single or multiple people busy with their lives or enjoying it along with their shadows. This Shadows of Life sketch made by me is very different from what i usually draw. But i still felt like the sketch is fine and can be shared. So, that's it for the Shadows of life sketch. To have a better look at my sketches, you can click on the pictures and view sketches in larger sizes. You can subscribe to my sketchbook blog and receive the new sketches i will upload via e-mail. Sketch of Dexter from Dexter's Laboratory

2012-05-27T06:03:00.001-07:00

Dexter and Deedee (Sister Mom) sketch

Dexter Sketch

Another sketch from My Sketchbook, Dexter. Dexter is the famous and the funny character from the show Dexter's Laboratory presented on Cartoon Network. This sketch of Dexter and Deedee is from the episode named Dexter's Laboratory and Sister Mom. In this episode Dexter's principal from his school wants Dexter to bring his mom to the school. So, to prevent his mom from meeting the principal and getting his work done, Dexter converts Deedee's body to his Mom's body and takes her with him to the school. This sketch is made from one of the scene in that episode of Dexter's Laboratory. This sketch of Dexter is made with pen and shading in the hair and gloves is done with pen only. Fortunately in this Dexter's Sketch, i had no mistake to correct because if i had one i could not have rubbed it. Well, that's it for the Sketch of Dexter and Sister Mom. Hope you like Dexter's Sketch. Please rate it, comment and follow the blog to stay updated. Thanks for reading.

Sketch of a Bike

2012-05-27T06:03:00.000-07:00

A Sketch of a Bike

Bike Sketch

Here's another sketch made by me in leisure time. While i was sitting idle and had nothing to do, suddenly the idea of drawing a bike came into my mind looking at the picture of a bike on my notebook. For making this Bike's sketch, i used one normal pencil. one graphite pencil and a marker. I used these three tools to give three different shades to the sketch. The marker gives pure black, graphite pencil is the shinny and lighter one, normal pencil for the drawing in the beginning. Hope you like my Bike's sketch. Thanks for reading.

Dragon Ball Z Sketches

DRAGON BALL Z SKETCHES

Gohan, Vegeta and Goku from Dragon Ball Z

Dragon Ball Z is a Japanese anime series which came into existence as soon as the previous series Dragon Ball series ended. Dragon Ball Z is developed from manga series of the same show. Many other Dragon Ball series, special episodes, movies, card games, video games and movies are also developed but Dragon Ball Z anime series is the most popular among all of these. In this post, i will present a collection of my favorite Dragon Ball Z sketches that i have made so far. This post contains five of my Dragon Ball Z sketches.

A sketch of Kid Gohan

Dragon Ball Z Sketch - Kid Gohan

The sweetest, powerful and most loved character of Dragon Ball Z is Gohan. Dragon Ball Z series shows Gohan from his childhood till the point he has kids of his own. Gohan has in himself a lot of power which comes out at certain times. Gohan has a significant role in Dragon Ball Z series from beginning to end. I have always loved to sketch Gohan. This sketch on the left shows Gohan when he is a kid. The sketch of Gohan was easy to make and i used simple pencil shading technique for the creation of the sketch of Gohan.

A sketch of Teen Gohan

Dragon Ball Z sketch - Teen Gohan

Another Gohan sketch for the Dragon Ball Z sketches collection. This sketch shows the Gohan after many years. At this stage, Goku has another son named Goten, who his very powerful by birth. Also, Goten has a powerful sayian friend named Trunks, son of Vegeta and Bulma. This sketch of Gohan may look a bit different than he is in real, because this sketch was not made from the real picture of Gohan but from that part of Dragon Ball Z when Gohan is encapsulated inside Buu. So, this Gohan is made inside the Buu's mind and is bad. So, i this is a bad Gohan's sketch. Goku and Vegeta encounter this Gohan when they get trapped inside Buu and they had to fight Gohan, Goten and Trunks inside Buu's mind. That's it for the Gohan's sketches in this Dragon Ball Z sketches post.

A sketch of Goku

Dragon Ball Z Sketch - Goku

The latest sketch that i have made for the Dragon Ball Z sketches collection is the sketch of Goku. Goku is the Hero of the Dragon Ball Z series. Goku is always helping his friends and other people of earth and other planets. Goku never fights for personal gains but for helping others and saving various planets. In Dragon Ball Z series, if someone collects seven Dragon Balls, they can get their wish fulfilled from the Dragon. Goku always collects the Dragon Balls but never collects them for the personal gains. Goku fights the evil characters of Dragon Ball Z to prevent them from collecting the Dragon Balls and harming the innocent people. So, this Dragon Ball Z sketch is for the great sayian warrior, Goku. Goku turns into Super Sayian to fight against evil with extreme power. This sketch of Goku shows him at the Super Sayian level 2. For making this sketch, i have used a pencil and a marker. I draw the outline of Goku's sketch with pencil and then filled it with black marker, which gave it high contrast and made it look like real Goku. In this post, i have only one sketch of Goku to show but i'll draw more of Goku's sketches very soon.

A sketch of Jeice

Dragon Ball Z sketch - Jeice

A sketch that i made on the wall of my previous home. Fortunately got one picture of the sketch of Jeice in my computer. Jeice is a member of the Ginyu force that appears on the Namek planet when Goku and his friends are searching for the Dragon Balls on Namek. Ginyu force consists of five bad guys that work for Frieza and fight against Goku and his friends. Ginyu force consists of Captain Ginyu (The Commander), Jeice, Burter, Recoome and Guldo. Gohan, Vegeta and Krillin were struggling against the Ginyu force on Namek but were able to beat the Ginyu force after the arrival of Goku on Namek. The real Jeice looks almost like this sketch, but with a difference that he had orange skin. Well, i could have made orange skin on Jeice's sketch but i gave him natural skin color so he looks good on my room's wall. The sketch of Jeice from Dragon Ball Z that i made on the wall of my room helped me today to add one more sketch to the collection of the Dragon Ball Z sketches. As far as i remember, i made this one with pencil, then darken the outline with a sketch pen and then colored Jeice's face with colored pencils. That's it for Jeice's Sketch.

A sketch of Buu and Vegeta

Dragon Ball Z Sketch - Buu and Vegeta

Another Dragon Ball Z sketch for this post, the fight scene between Vegeta and Buu. Vegeta is a sayian like Goku but is a bad guy since the beginning of the Dragon Ball Z series. Goku too was sent to earth to destroy the planet when he grows but luckily Goku lost his memory in his childhood and became a good guy as he was raised by the good people on earth. Vegeta joins and fights together with Goku also, but always wants to become the most powerful fighter on the universe adn defeat Goku. In the end of Dragon Ball Z series, Vegeta realizes that one must choose the path of the good like Goku, hence Vegeta becomes a good guy by the end. This sketch of Buu and Vegeta from my collection of Dragon Ball Z sketches is made with simple pencil shading technique. Although i picked up faces of Vegeta and Buu from different episodes and draw Vegeta's sketch and Buu's sketch by looking at different episodes of the series, but still they do fight against each other for a long time in the ending episodes of the Dragon Ball Z series. Hope you have enjoyed my sketches collection of Dragon Ball Z characters. Click on the various Dragon Ball Z sketches to view them in full size. Please rate and comment on the post. Thanks for reading.

Drawing Kung Fu Panda

2012-05-17T00:03:00.004-07:00

KUNG FU PANDA

Kung Fu Panda Drawing

Here's a new Sketch of one of my favorite funny animated characters 'Po' (the Panda) in the Kung Fu Panda movie series. As i love the Kung Fu Panda movies and wanted to make atleast one drawing of Kung Fu Panda, hence i did it. In the movie Kung Fu Panda, Po used to work in the family noodle shop and loved to eat all the time. Po was the biggest fan of Kung Fu. And then something happened that was least expected, according to an Ancient Prophecy, Po gets to join the Furious Five (Tigress, Crane, Viper, Monkey and Mantis) and become a Kung Fu legend. There are many other great things in the movie like the quotes that we come across as in the first part, Oogway says, "One meets his destiny often in the road he takes to avoid it." The great movies and its graphics inspired me to make a drawing of Kung Fu Panda.

KUNG FU PANDA MOVIES

Kung Fu Panda Characters

Kung Fu Panda 1 & 2 are excellent movies with great graphics, good storyline and an awesome script. Many well-known stars have given their voices to the various Kung Fu Panda movie characters. Voice of Po is given by Jack Black, Tigress by Angelina Jolie, Master Shifu by Dustin Hoffman, Master Croc (Part 2) by Jean-Claude Van Damme and Monkey by Jackie Chan. In the first movie, Po and the Legendary Furious Five have to face Tai Lung, the leopard who was raised by Master Chifu. In the second movie, they face Lord Shen, the Peacock. Also, Po gets to know that he was seperated from his family in his childhood because of Lord Shen. The 3rd part of the movie is yet to come but will surely come as indicated in the 2nd part.

Steps In Making of The Kung Fu Panda Drawing

MAKING OF KUNG FU PANDA DRAWING

Here's a strip of the steps i followed in the creation of the Kung Fu Panda drawing. So far, this is my first attempt of making a Kung Fu Panda drawing, maybe i'll make another one soon. On your right hand side, you can see the drawing of Kung Fu Panda. To have a clear view, you can click on the image and see the actual size. Hope you liked my Kung Fu Panda drawing and about saying how i made this drawing i'll use a quote from the second part of the movie by Master Shifu, "Anything is possible when you have inner peace."

Sketch of Gurudwara Darbar Sahib, Amritsar

DARBAR SAHIB SKETCH

Welcome to my blog, here's a new sketch by me dedicated to the Holiest Shrine of the Sikhs 'Gurudwara Darbar Sahib'. Also commonly known as 'Shri Harmandir Sahib' or 'Golden Temple'. Darbar Sahib is a Gurudwara open for all the People of all the religions around the world. MAKING OF THE SKETCH OF GURUDWARA DARBAR SAHIB

Well, it was the most time consuming sketch made by me so far in my life but i loved to do it. I know the more difficult a task is, the better is the outcome. I used to draw for 1 hour everyday and did it for around 1 week. The minute details were the difficult part. But while i draw, i felt great as this time i was drawing something that connects me to my religion. Following picture shows the steps i made in making this drawing. Thanks for reading.

Wolf and The Moon Painting

2012-05-05T09:50:00.000-07:00

Wolf and the Moon Painting

From line drawings and Pencil Shading moving on to Painting, I made this one first. I am still too bad at using colors, so just working with Black, White, Grey, etc. so far. In this Painting, I have made a wolf in front of a moon. Hope you recognized it before reading. Because of my bad painting skills, the moon was uneven and untidy, luckily giving it a terrestrial texture. Well, I started with the outline of the wolf using a pencil, then picked up the brush after years and filled the black color. Of course, I filled it uneven because I can come back to coloring the wolf after drawing and coloring the moon. So, the noob thing I did was started drawing the moon with the brush. Then I had a hard time making it circular and was not able to achieve a completely circular shape at all. But still not bad. I filled the surface outside the moon with pure black and filled the Moon with Black, White and some shades of Grey. Then I completed the wolf outline in more detail and finished the painting. I still need to go a long way in paintings and sketches, but hope I am on the right path. Hope you like my Painting of the wolf and the moon. Thanks for reading.

Sketch of Jack Sparrow

2012-05-02T04:34:00.001-07:00

Jack Sparrow Sketch

The next sketch i draw is of the Pirate Captain Jack Sparrow from the movie Pirates Of The Caribbean. I have watched all the parts of the movie, they are quite good. But the reason i draw this sketch is not the same. I wanted to move on to making real sketches from sketching just Anime. Although i love anime and will continue making them but still i want to try something different. So, for the drawings of real people i searched for some pictures. I wanted to make a easier one for the first time. So, i made this one as i found it more easy to draw than other people's face. It's easier to draw as there are a lot of unique attributes to this character of Johnny Depp. Creating a simpler face is comparatively difficult. Honestly, i made it real bad. Just hope to make better sketches from the next time on. I am thinking about making Brad Pitt and more people's sketches in the near future. I know i didn't made a good drawing but will make sure to improve over time. Thanks for reading.

Cartoon Network Characters Drawings Collage

Exactly 10 years back i made this one. I was 10 years old and loved cartoon network channel and all it's shows. Collecting their pictures from newspapers, comics, etc. was my hobby. I made a collage of the various pictures of the cartoons in this drawing. Yes, it's not good but it is the oldest drawing i have alive with me till date. I found this one in my home and wanted to share and dedicate it to the Cartoon Network Channel and all those entertaining shows i watched in my childhood. Well, it also helps us know the cartoons that were seen on cartoon network at that time. Although i forgot them but this drawing reminds me. As you can see there is Garfield, Daffy Duck, Tweety & Porky Pig ( The Looney Toones, Dino ( From The Flintstones ), Tin Tin's Dog Snowy (The Adventures of Tin Tin), Green Lantern, Batman & Flash ( Justice League ), Agent X ( Men In Black ), Buttercup (The Powerpuff Girls), Scooby Doo, Dexter, Ed and even more. Well, i have got there the complete channel. Maybe this drawing helps you bring back a lot of sweet memories. Thanks for reading.

Almost Me - Maninder Self Sketch

2012-02-17T08:59:00.000-08:00

Maninder Pal Singh

After creating a sketch of myself, i was not satisfied. So, i planned and created another one. This time i tried to make the most accurate sketch i can make. So, this time it looks more like me. This is the latest drawing i have made so far. I don't know what comes to my mind next. Again the technique i have used is Pencil Shading. First of all, i draw a basic outline. Face and Turban were an easier part. I could have left the shirt empty, but i just thought of making it exactly like the one i was wearing. So, shirt part was a little difficult and time consuming part of my self sketch. Well, i have written the name of my blog under my Sketch, but don't visit it as the blog has been deleted. It is actually moved to a new location that you are currently viewing my sketches at. Thanks for reading the post and visiting the blog.

Working With The Shadow - The Dark Room Sketch

2012-01-14T07:19:00.000-08:00

The Dark Room

Making more drawings out of imagination, next i draw is 'The Dark Room' sketch. It's a simple sketch or silhouette that came into my mind when i was thinking to make some sketch related with a shadow. I made a person standing at the entrance of a room. The place behind is full of light and the room before is all dark. The light enters through the door and the shadow is formed. Well, i don't know how the idea came into my mind. Never get to see things like this in real, so it's pure imagination. Well, that's all a lonely depressed autistic introvert can draw, dark drawings. That's all for this sketch. Thanks for reading. Hope you like my art while working with the shadow. Thanks for reading.

Sketch made by my Brother

2012-01-12T05:51:00.000-08:00

Sketch By Satinder Pal Singh

This Post is dedicated to my brother, Satinder Pal Singh. He's an excellent artist. He's my elder brother but he made this drawing long ago at the age of around 12-14 years. At such a young age, he made such a Masterpiece. Well, i don't exactly know who is in this sketch but surely linked to some ancient style of Art in India. This sketch reminds of the ancient historic drawings made in India during the Mughal period. So, for such a nice drawing, i dedicate this blog post to my brother ' Satinder Pal Singh'. Hope you like his drawing. Thanks for reading.

The Holy Man Sketch

Alright, after about one or two years later from making the previous drawings, i made not new sketches. Maybe there was no time or no idea came to my mind. Then, a teacher in my class asked about students with good drawing skills. Somehow, few students name came forward along with me. She wanted us to make many drawings for the exhibition. She gave me a page on which this picture i draw was present. First, she told me to make the drawing to show to her. Then, after she was satisfied with my drawing, she told me to make another one for the exhibition. This one was the first drawing i made and is still with me. I never came to know this persons name. Maybe someone reading this blog can tell. Based on the looks i gave him the name 'The Holy Man Sketch'.

Never Throw Your Bad Sketches

2011-12-28T01:22:00.000-08:00

Not So Good Sketch

This is a Sketch i made recently. I think it is very bad, but i still keep it. However, i don't show it to anyone (until i put it on this blog). The benefit to a bad sketch is that you see your mistakes and don't repeat them in the future. Maybe, it doesn't looks good because its too simple and has no special texture or features but i know that i need to improve my shading and improve my selectivity while starting a sketch. Also the hair, mouth, etc. features need to be improved. So, i learned a lot from this one and made the best drawing of my life after this sketch, which i will post after many blog posts and many sketches. Hope you like the article and change your thinking about any bad art you make. So, there is no bad art at all. In the end, i will say never throw your bad sketches. Thanks for reading.
