Other than the 249 € (~$340) price tag, we don’t learn much new info. The app will come with a selection of apps specifically optimized for the smaller screen. All the usual suspects will be included– weather, stocks, Twitter, Facebook, etc. Of course the company will be urging developers to get their apps ready when the I’m Watch SDK is eventually released.

Although we already got our first look at it back in August, the Android-powered I’m Watchsmartphone/wristwatch hybrid is another step closer to hitting the market. The company has announced we will get our first hands on look at the device during ARM TechCon on October 25th in Santa Clara.

Included in the device, which sports a 1.54” (240×240) TFT display, is an ARM IMX233 processor, 64MB RAM, 4GB Flash memory, built-in speaker and mic, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Bluetooth 2.1. It also packs in a rechargeable Li-Po 400 MAh battery which provides up to 30 hours standby and 3 hours talk time on speaker phone.

We’re still curious to find out how the device interacts with iPhone, which the company claims it supports. The company is obviously hoping the device will make an impact when it eventually becomes available, although we’re unsure how the market will react to the price tag and lack of support from developers.

Acer has unveiled a slew of new all-in-one desktop PCs. The New Z-series desktops are aimed at consumers, while the Veriton Z range are aimed at enterprise and are suitably frugal for the purpose. The desktops range in price from $429, through to as much as $1900, depending on configuration.

The range-topping AZ5 centers on a 23-inch 1080p multi-touch display. Processors start with a minimum of a Core i3-2120 processor matched with 4GB of DDR3 memory and a 1TB HDD, which starts at $750.

The mid-range AZ3 starts $100 cheaper by virtue of its smaller 21.5-inch, yet still 1080p-capable, multi-touch display. It also starts with an AMD dual-core A4 APU, but still includes a discreet Radeon HD6410 GPU. Its hard drive capacity starts at $500GB.

Both the AZ5 and the AZ3 include an adjustable stand, two USB 3.0 ports on the side, and four USB ports on the rear.

The new Veriton Z enterprise range keeps the processing power respectable by dropping the full HD displays. It used to be that if you wanted a wired set of headphones with a mic, you were stuck using in ear or ear bud designs. Several manufactures have started adding a microphone to headphones that are not ear buds now that it’s far more common to use your phone as a music device. The Vertex is one of these set of headphones.

The nice thing about the Vertex is their construction. This set of headphones are made mostly of plastic but it actually has a metal head band buried under all of the shiny plastic. You can see the metal when you look at the top of the headphones. This band and the rest of the plastic is very nice and glossy looking. Unfortunately, this makes them a fingerprint magnet. I wish more companies would realize that glossy may look great in renders and photos, but in day-to-day use it’s really annoying.

The cables are covered in a nice and thick rubber like coating. They are nice and thick and solid and they tend not to tangle as much. I really like it when a company pays attention to the cables as this is the biggest thing I have a problem with on most headphones. With me, the nicer the cable, the longer the life and the Vertex headphones feel like they should last a long time.

The ear pads are very comfortable to wear for extended periods but can be a bit warm if it’s hot out. Fortunately we’re heading towards winter here in Columbus so I will probably use these more as the weather gets colder.

The Vertex has brought many features I like to see in similar headphones. Like I said earlier, the inline microphone seems to be one that gets missed in a lot of headsets. More and more people are using their phone to listen to Pandora, MOG, Last.fm, Slacker and other music services on the go. While regular headphones do work in most smartphones, when you get a call things can get complicated. With an inline mike, you just press the button and your music stops and the call comes through.

One other feature of the headphones that makes them really nice is that they fold. This is a must have feature on headphones like the Vertex. When they don’t fold, they take up a lot of extra room in the bag thanks to the head band. The Vertex headphones fold nicely and they take little space in your bag which is a great thing. The folding feature also allows you to flip the headphones around so you can hold only one side of the headphones up to your ear like many DJ’s do.

They are well-built and have some pretty awesome features, but how do they sound? Pretty good if you ask me. The music had a nice level of bass and sounded clear to me. Your mileage may vary on this, but these are among my favorites.

I think iFrogz has a great idea and it’s one I am seeing in other places as well. I look forward to see even more designs like these.

As most of you all know, Sony Ericsson is preparing a new device, which will be their first dual core phone.

The rumour was it will be called Xperia Duo.

Now few things changed from then.

It will be driven by snapdragon 1.5GHz(MSM8660) dual core processor, with help of 1GB RAM, although as you may notice, images shows only 691MB. It’s jet to be seen how many MB of RAM will it have. It also has a 4.3″ screen with amazing resolution of 720 by 1280, which gives 320dpi. You will have 32GB of storage for keeping your data, unfortunately without memory card option.

And all that will be powered with 1750mAh battery.

More rumours also suggest that this will be first Sony Ericsson phone to be used with micro-SIM and will have NFC. Of course, the exception being the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arco, which is released only in Japan and is their only model with an NFC chip.

Today Nokia, revealed the Nokia X2-02, a music phone with Easy Swap Dual SIM. The Easy Swap Dual SIM lets the user easily manage costs even when staying connected with family and friends.
The specifications and features of this phone are impressive. The dimensions of this Mobile phone are 113 x 50 x 15 mm and it weighs about 93 gr.
The display screen is 2.2 inches with a resolution of 240 x 320 px and 2 mega px camera. There is the FM Antenna, MP3 player along with dedicated music keys, built-in loudspeakers for music playback and huge 32 GB memory capability.

The Easy Swap feature permits the user to manage operating costs by easily moving between five SIM cards using a dedicated SIM manager. Users can swap SIM cards without the need to turn off the phone or reboot it.

The mobile handset comes pre-loaded with dedicated Twitter and Facebook clients which can be launched directly from “home-screen shortcut bar.”
The design of the handset is also very impressive and is available in five colours; Orange, Dark Silver, Ocean Blue, Bright Red and Violet, as reported by Nokia Conversations.

For only 17,000 at eBay the 10.1in Acer Aspire One Happy 2 is a really great value netbook. The specs are top notch by netbook standards, the price is really low compared to any other equivalent netbook and the bright colours really make the Happy 2 stand out. It’s solidly built, and while small the keyboard is comfortable to type on.

What gives the Happy 2 enough power to get work done is the Intel Atom N570 (1.66GHz) processor, which together with 1GB of RAM can handle basic productivity applications. There’s also 250GB of hard disk drive storage, which only lately has that been surpassed by a handful of more expensive new netbooks.

The battery life of the Happy 2’s a healthy six hours on power saver mode, making it possible to use this netbook just about all day. Also of note is the 10.1in (1,024×600 resolution) screen, which has good colour depth and reasonable viewing angles.
