We did a trek to Yellowstone and Grand Teton two summers ago. Grand Teton was great, no question about it, but Yellowstone is simply amazing. Sure, it’s more touristy than its neighbor but it cannot be missed.

Short and sweet article! I like it! A lot of these tips may seem obvious, but in reality many people don’t think about it when they are put in the situation of running out of water or when planning their trip. Honestly, I wouldn’t even think to look at the topography to try to find water! There are many places, like The Maze in Utah, where running out of water is a serious and common occurrence. This is such a great post for everyone to read and understand if they happen to be caught without water.
