The new Erik Bailey boot from Valo is now in stock. The grey suede is soft and buttery and looks amazing. The treatment on the liner makes this boot really stand out. Valo is bringing some innovative thoughts to the inline industry. their skates have great shelf appeal and really pop off the wall. Indoor and outdoor hardnesses are available in different durometers. Rink Rat has, what we feel, some of the best inline hockey urethane. Chris Hardin Set up of the month

Chris is shown here holding his new Jib machine. It's the 180 cm Lib skunk ape. When asked about it's size, chris mumbled " the xtra length helps me pick up the ladies. You know what they say about the size of a man's board." I didn't fully understand, but decided to ask him how he plans to spin this in the park. His next words were slightly unintelligible, but it sounded something like "I'll spin this so hard it'll sound like a helicopter come a buzzin over your head." I don't know about you, but i believe him. look for lil chris to be killin the backside of sugar mtn with his new ride!

Nike 6.0 drop for November

3 new 6.0 shoes are now in stock. 2 great kids offerings are shown first. Up top is the mogan jr in black/sport red. Below is the mogan mid jr in black sea green. Kids shoes are always hard to find, especially in the 13-2 size range. We have both of these kicks down that small for the little groms who want some cool skateboard shoes.
Below is the great, and I stress great, new colorway in the 6.0 dunk. Usually reserved for the SB line, the dunk gets a sick treatment in this blueprint/classic charcoal color. It's got a great design, and is accented by a nice aqua hit. Be sure to check these out on your next visit.

Ugg classic shorts are back

Alpine just got in 40 pair of this sought after boot today in 3 great colors. Black, grey and chocolate are shown above. We also got in sand, it just didn't make the picture. The classic short is extremely comfortable and meant to be worn without socks. They run about a size big, so buy accordingly. this is our allotment of this model, so once they are gone, we can't get any more. These are still on every girls Christmas "NEED" list, so hurry in before these are all snatched up.

Ski Swap Time Again?

Seems like just yesterday I worked my first swap at Alpine. It was 1985, and back then swaps were HUGE!. we would have 5,000 people roll through the store and parking lot looking for deals. the front yard would be filled with all kinds of skis and boots. we would bring out clearance racks of clothing and build up makeshift dressing rooms. we would put 3 registers outside and have the fagowees selling hot dogs and soda on the side lot. I was just 14, and it was a fun time to be in the ski industry.
Now, in our 38th year, I have seen a huge resurgence of the ski swap. People are coming back out and looking for great used gear. The glut of straight skis and step in snowboard binders is nearly behind us. There are some great deals to be had at these events. There are ways to go skiing and snowboarding with out having to drop big dollars.Pick up a couple season old pair of skis or snowboard and forgo the rental line.
Stop in this weekend and let our staff help outfit you in a great "new to you" set up. Or drop off your old equipment and let us sell it for you.
remember.. we have the right to refuse ANY equipment I deem unsafe. If you don't like it, then put it on craigslist. No straight skis, No old thermoplastic boots. Nothing but the good stuff.
So come in this weekend and peruse the goods in the yard. And we will also be having some sick deals in the store as well. See you this weekend.

Alpine got it's allotment of Limited edition Bindings from our friends at Union today! Here is the new KFC in an eye catching gold colorway. This tears highback gets a sweet leopard pattern. The straps and buckles remain the same as last seasons, but a new gas pedal design is under the foot. These are extremely limited, so if you want them, you better get them quick!

Eamonn stopped by this week to drop off some new wood and some new wheel graphics. The lips wheel has some great colors on it and word on the street is that there is a board in the works as you are reading this. It might be out just in time for the holidays. Hooray. Alpine has a great relationship with the guys over at Convoy and we are glad to have their great products in our skate section.

The 56/88 JC Rowe---The 57/89 Austin Paz, and the 55/90 Jeff dalnas are all here. The Zombie theme is pretty rad, and we all know the urethane is amazing.

We are going to start having some set up of the DAY shots, as we are selling more decks now, and some sweet kits are going out.Tamara stopped in today and picked up this ridiculous set up.
She chose the new Banana Gnu B Nice and put on Last seasons Burton Lexa Binder. On her feet, she chose last seasons Tokidoki ride sasha boot with the boa coiler. It's a great time to grab a deal on last seasons gear, but it is moving quickly, so hurry in.

Ride is introducing 3 different graphics over 3 months to select ride dealers throughout the country. As you may have heard, the DFC line is now defunct and ride is working now with limited edition releases. This graphic for November was done by Art Chantry. Well, this is Tylers last day til his first vacation in 2 years. Yes, look for ty to be following phish all the way to Sunny California for their Halloween shows. he's got his bags packed and we wish him well on his hippy excursion. But before he left, he had one more modeling job to do. He put on the new Orage Stanley jacket in this great brown/blue print. Orage has some great new styles and their clothes are made extremely well. This jacket is 15,000 waterproof and great for any type of weather. We like it with either e chocolate or blue pant (Which we have both of in stock).
