Chaque page est pensée comme un espace à part entière et invite à une réflexion ou une action. Le.a lecteur.ice est invité.e à sentir, à performer ou à « solutionner » cet espace réflexif et formel.

Janis Rafa explores the relationship between the human and non-human world, especially that between humans and horses. Turning to the horse as a paradigm of constructed physicality and lost identity, Rafa proposes a visual vocabulary that seeks to draw attention to our tendency to classify the non-human in terms of compatibility, productivity and efficiency, thus highlighting the seductive yet often malicious and sadistic bond at the heart of this age-old relationship.

Pour l’exposition Sauroctone au centre d’art Zoo, Yan Tomaszewski a réalisé une grande installation faite d’îlots qui déploient nombre d’éléments liés à l’historiographie des fleuves et aux mythologies qu’ils drainent en produisant notamment un vitrail figurant ce fameux saint sauroctone et en créant des sculptures hybrides en céramique et verre coloré qui proposent une imagerie renouvelée de l’imaginaire fluvial.

The exhibition The Neoliberal Urge to Curate a Friendsgroup brings together works by Sarah Albrecht, Oliver Bleckmann, Manuel Cornelius, Sophia Gatzkan, Jill Kiddon, Luka Naujoks and Johannes Thiel and explores the neoliberal tendency to view social relationships as a strategic network – a curated portfolio of friendships, treated as a purpose-driven structure. In a culture dominated by self-promotion and social optimization, friendships are increasingly becoming a resource designed to yield personal benefits. Particularly in the art scene, many friendships have an ‘instrumental’ character – relationships are selected on the basis of aesthetics and value.
