they tied the knot on february 4, 2012 at 2:00 in the afternoon.

their wedding was super duper fun to shoot.

she is beautiful.

he is funny.

college is great. but then its not. but then it is. but then its not.

right?

i mean, it’s great when i get to hang out with my chi omega sisters. its great when i see my boyfriend every single day. he’s super duper cute, isn’t he? by the way… this photo screams SUMMER which seems to be all i can think about lately. …its even great when i get to make late night walmart runs… depending on what it’s for. if its for toilet paper, it sucks. what’s not great?

tests.

oh, gah. that dreaded word. so i go to the library. i study, i write, i study, i write, i listen to music… i check facebook… i internet shop… i end up writing this blog. and then all that time studying just seems wasted.

oh, and i forgot to mention the fact that i have recently acquired a stress fracture in my left foot. so i’m stuck in this (please ignore crappy iphone photo):

okay, i should really stop complaining. because even though life gets tough & tests get hard & i’m pretty much on my own over here… God still loves me. and my mommy does, too. and i have beautiful best friends to support me, no matter what (or how annoying my complaining gets). love you guys.

oh, by the way, jared and i love making art, so i decided to show you our recent masterpieces. well, technically, jared made his about 16 years ago… but you can tell he’s still super proud of it. and i’m super proud of him, too!

P.S. — yep, he’s wearing pants. so stop wondering.

we baked christmas cookies today with brooke!

well, chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter with kisses (for love!) cookies. now we’re just waiting for jared (the boyfriend) to get here and share them with us… or eat them all, because that’s what he does best.

you are, in fact, my favorite seven year old.

and next year you’ll be my favorite 8 year old. and the next, my favorite 9 year old.. and so on. you bring me smiles, good tears, laughter, and joy each and every single day. you’re so much more than just a little sister to me, and you always will be. it may sound odd, but you’re my very best friend. we share secrets all the time; we laugh together like sisters should, and we love to go shopping together. and yet i’m eleven whole years older than you. who would’ve known 7 short years ago that God made the plan for you to make such an impact on my life?
