I’ll have a nosey at the Aztak and see how that compares. Ive not seen that in as much detail i dont think.

I think that while I agree that the iPad isn’t a true eBook reader (not eInk)- it’s the closest that exists for what I’d use it for. An true eReader in my eyes would be one that used eInk or similar. The iPad does do PDFs though (and fairly well we are lead to believe)

I agree completely that the Market is in it’s infancy. I would guess that in a few years we’ll be looking at colour eInk screens and a solution to the image problem. Or maybe batteries will improve so much that iPad-esque devices will be able to hold court better. And of course, everything would be affordable

I dont think we should consider an Ipad or netbook an e-book reader.Yes, if it has an e-ink screen or an equivalent but I doubt that it has such. Apple probably wont even allow PDF or make it real tricky to read my current collection of e-books.. A good PDF e-book reader is the Aztak reader that’s the best i could find. They are all too expensive currently especially considering none of them can get the job done for me 100%. I think the technology is too much in its infancy I’ll wait it out. Stick to my hard copy’s and printing snippets.

Ahh, I must admit that I had erroneously not set it somewhere and hadn’t noted any ill effects. I guess I obeyed the warning too blindly. I’ll update the post to reflect this, thanks!

The ‘_svn’ issues are exclusive for Visual Studio 2002 (Original .Net) and 2003.

If you only use VS 2005 and later I would recommend not setting this checkmark. (But do keep it if you had it already set as resetting would break existing working copies)
