Looking for a redesign

Hello and happy new year. This is the first update on this blog for 2013. Sorry for the lack of updates as I sincerely have no idea what to blog about here. I have tried installing Linkwithin on the blog but so far I have been unsuccessful.

I am considering a makeover for the site but I just don't have the time to do it so if anyone is willing to take up the task to re-design the layout I'd be more than happy to award you with monetary compensation for your time and effort. Mind that I cannot offer you more than USD$25 (via PayPal) but in addition to this, I can advertise your blog/website for free on ANY of my websites. This is optional, but if possible do provide links to your previous works.

The blog is powered by a homegrown, custom-built and lightweight blogging platform, coded with HTML, CSS and PHP. The main templates files are: header.php, index.php, single.php, sidebar.php and footer.php.

I'm not entirely sure what kind of design I'm going for so I'm open to ideas and suggestions. :)

Spam protection

Added a simple spam protection script to the website. Nothing fancy, just one of your basic math-based protection.

Will be working on some scripts later on.

Bit of news

No major updates except that this morning the website was hit by a wave of spam comments. So I shall be working on some anti-spam filter soon but in the mean time I could only block the IP addresses where the spam came from.

By the way, blog reviewing is still open, it's just that I may take longer time to finish it since I am quite busy with my offline life at the moment. Any questions regarding the website, please use the contact form provided.

Renewing the domain

Amalina.org is going to expire soon and I'm debating whether I should renew it or not. Part of me want to renew it if just for the sake of the efforts I've put into building this entire system. I burnt the midnight oil for this (a figure of speech, of course) but the other half of me feel it is not just worth the money since I rarely update this website anyway.

Nevertheless I have a few days to think over this and hopefully, whatever the decision I make, it'll be the for the best.

Back from open hiatus

The 2-week break dragged on to over a month long vacation. I was away for a trip to UK and France for two weeks and when I got back, I found myself preparing for another 1-week trip to Malaysia. However, now that I'm back I've decided to re-open the application for reviews.

I'm also planning a domain giveaway which will be hosted on Codeislove.net on January 18.

I've finished another review! Phew! That review took longer to complete than I had anticipated. I've been so busy lately, what with creating new layout for my portfolio site and working on a client's blogshop layout.
