Vitex negundo, commonly known as the five-leaved chaste tree a small erect tree in the family Lamiaceaeis, that can reach up to 5 meters tall. The plant has evergreen leaves, usually with five lanceolate leaflets per leaf. Flowers are numerous, blue to lavender, 6 to 7 mm long, borne on 10 to 20 cm long terminal panicles . Vitex negundo is widely used in folk medicine. Leaves, seeds, bark and roots are used for the treatment of various illnesses including cough, colds, fever, headache, toothache, asthma, menstrual difficulties and amenorrhea.

What do Ladybugs Eat? Ladybugs eat a variety of things, but of course their favorite and primary food is aphids. Both the adult ladybug and their larvae love to eat aphids. A single ladybug can eat up to 5000 aphids, which means they're invaluable to farmers gardeners trying to control an aphid population. If the aphids are not handy, then they will search for scales, mites and larvae of other bugs. Besides these, they also feed on fruit juice, nectar and pollen. A few ladybug species, like the Mexican bean beetle and 28-spotted potato Ladybug are pests species feeding on foliage. Even the seven spotted ladybugs feed on foliage, when other sources of food is scare, as you see in the last picture.

Drone Fly (Eristalis tenax) is a common, medium-sized fly in the family Syrphidae (Hoverfly), in the order Diptera. It's common name "Drone Fly" came from the fact that it mimic drone honey bee. It feeds on nectar and is an important pollinator for a number of plants, particularly those having cluster flowers such as carrot, coriander and fennel. Its aquatic larva, known as rat-tailed maggot, breathe through a long, snorkel-like appendage. It lives in stagnant water, such as drainage ditches and sewage and feeds on decaying organic material.

Wolf spiders are members of the family Lycosidae (wolf). Wolf spiders are agile and land predators that are moving quickly. Wolf spiders have good eyesight. Some hunt actively and pursue prey during the day. Some will wait for passing prey in or near the mouth of a burrow. They do not capture their food in a web as do other common spiders with poorer eye sight.
Adult males are smaller than females, and measure 19 to 25 mm . The pedipalps, are larger and proportionately longer legs. Its color is also more striking. The female is brown with darker markings and lines on the legs. Measures of 27 to 30 mm. They have eight eyes, arranged in 3 rows; the first rows have 4 small eyes; the second row has 2 larger eyes and the third row has 2 medium-sized eyes.
Wolf spiders carry their egg sacs by attaching them to their spinnerets. On hatching they protect their young by carrying them on their back.
Wolf spiders are venomous and can bite if provoked. However their bite are usually minor, can result in small pain or itchiness. In some rear cases the reaction can include swelling, prolonged pain, dizziness, rapid pulse and nausea.

In males, the antennae have 13 segments, while females always have 12. It's a predator, preying on bees and flies. It is also attracted to meat and other foods that are rich in sugar contents like fruit and sweets etc. It can deliver a very painful sting if provoked.
