A & M’s wedding day was filled with all kinds of surprises: overcast skies, spotting a pink Cadillac on our way into town, scoping out some awesome locations in a line of trees, on top of a hill, and right out in front of the church. Kudos to Madison, MN for their countless photo locations! The best part: Mindy and Adam trusted my suggestions and locations and were so willing to go with the flow. I’m always thankful for wedding couples who trust my judgement.

From the dress to the decor, the flowers to the reception site, everything was carefully and creatively designed. No detail went left undone. A & M spent the whole day snuggling for warmth, exchanging sweet glances, laughing, saying “I do” while hosting the most amazing reception we’ve seen! Salad bar = YUM! Not to mention a dance we didn’t want to leave! And oh my goodness, is Adam’s expression when he first sees Mindy the most priceless “ooh” you’ve ever seen? LOVE IT! 1. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve had a kit of beads, string, markers, and glue. I’d find something shiny and think, “Hey, I can turn that into something even cooler!” I can even remember a point in my life when I said to my mom, “I wish there was a way I could grow up and have a job where I just got to create things!” Interestingly enough, I now do! During our travels this year I’ve been able to accumulate and collect all kinds of worldly craft items, and with a hearty, “GO FOR IT” from my hubby, I opened  my own ETSY store!!! Click here to see it. It’s filled with art, photographs, graphic design pieces, and jewelry. So, not only can I photograph your wedding, I can help make the jewelry for it! I recently had a bride order NINE sets of rings/earrings/necklaces for her bridesmaids. 2. One of the joys of being in the photography business is getting to design one of a kind items for clients. Collages, storyboards, books, and greeting cards. I find great joy in hearing ideas and putting my creative touch on them. Hours on airplanes meant lots of time to create new designed items to sell. Day after sessions are a great way to get relaxed portraits without the stress of wedding day drama. No worries about getting a little dirt on the bottom of your dress. Most of the dresses I see for this kind of session have a nice ring of dirt along the bottom. Proves the dance at the wedding was EPIC! We make these sessions totally relaxed and seek to showcase the GLOW of the newly married couple. I cannot thank A & M enough for going with my vision and being such fantastic models. The love shows, and my goodness, is Amanda’s smile contagious or what? I dare you not to smile back at her!

If you’ve never had portraits with ASP, here’s what you can expect:

-NO SITTING FEE (cool, huh?)
-A 30 minute session
-Multiple poses, angles, and expressions
-No limit to the number of shots on your copyright free disc
-Lots of silliness and REAL smiles
-No packages that force you to hurry up and choose

Because of the unique nature of this event, it is required that you purchase a copyright free disc. You can expect your disc in your mailbox within two weeks (often sooner). With the purchase of your copyright free disc, you’ll have the freedom to :

-Print as many photos as you’d like, wherever you’d like
-Make books, calendars, cards, etc.
-Post images on facebook
-Make copies of the disc and share them with others

We’re going to donate our 30 minute sessions to each of you, and promise to give you a disc FULL of amazing images. You won’t be disappointed!

DISC PRICES:
1 child- $150
2 children or 2 adults- $200
3+ people- $250

Please note: pets count as people, because let’s face it, they can be a lot of work!

Think you’ll need more time? If you want to change outfits or get a few more poses, consider booking two sessions back to back. The second slot can be purchased for $50, and the disc price remains the same.

PLEASE NOTE: Families of 6 or more (for the sake of my sanity and attention to detail) are required to book a double shoot. Thanks for your understanding as I seek to capture all the greatest combinations and looks for your family!

For both sitting fee and discs, there is 7.35% sales tax.

We make our items in our craft rooms, basements, & kitchens, so selling them in a sterile rented room just didn’t seem right. Plus there will be plenty of couch space if you need to sit and think about your purchases (while munching on a yummy treat and sipping some warm apple cider).
