I was thinking about this last night--I simply wouldn't be the person I am today if I hadn't started this blog. If I hadn't started taking so many photos for the blog, I likely wouldn't be a photo major, I wouldn't have gotten into art, I wouldn't even know half of the incredible people I have the privilege of being friends with today and my life would be on a completely different track. I needed blogging to become who I am today, but I'm so different than I was when I started blogging. I started this blog to write about style, claiming that I didn't care about gaining a following, but soon I got sucked into it in a way that I never planned. I became dependent on getting comments and followers. I don't regret anything about this, but I know I don't need it anymore.

Everything I used to do for the blog I do for myself now. I take photos for myself, I write for myself and I dress for myself--and it just seems like a chore to blog about them. What's more, I'm not sure I want to share these things anymore. This is the end of an era for me, but an end that's been a long time in coming. So that's that. I don't really have anything left to say here except for thank you. Thank you for reading, for commenting and for supporting me. It's been a pleasure getting to know you.
