Amelia got her new bike today. We took it for a test ride with her cousins Noah and Gracie.

We went trick-or-treating with our friends Cory and Alysia and their little girl Mimi and their 2 week old, Frankie. Amelia is a big fan of knocking on doors and getting free candy. Big fan. She was a pink piglet (but didn't want to wear her hood) and Mimi was a ballerina. Frankie was a frank with mustard.

I (finally) finished the Joshua Tree video from our trip this spring! It's kind of U2 intesive (we stayed in their hotel!... though mostly by chance). So if you're not a U2 fan, just plug your ears and hum something by the Mamas and the Papas.

First, CONGRATULATIONS to Jen and Matt for the birth of LINDA GRACE DOUGLAS, born this morning in Denver, CO. Yippee! There should be pictures at Planet Douglas shortly.

To celebrate, Amelia doned her cape and contemplated saving the world for a few minutes. But only for a few minutes as she had to get back to shoving crayons in her nose.

Cami and I took this footage while visiting our home away from home, the Grand Lake Lodge, last summer (2005 -- I'm still working on 2006 summer trip to GLL). We will miss it when the James family sells it, but what can you do (with out a couple of million lying around anyway). Anyway, nothing too exciting, just a stroll through the employee loop and down memory lane with friend John Scott.

We had an awesome weekend in the mountains, camping in Sequoia National Park. Amelia slept nearly the whole night, if you consider between the hours of 10 pm and 5 am the whole night. Cami made this video, so leave lots of comments! Music is by Coldplay, but you already knew that.

Mary Beth had a business trip to LA this weekend. She had to work Saturday but we were lucky enough to get to play with her on Sunday. We took a little hike near Malibu. Unfortunately, we didn't get to witness any homes slide into the ocean. Maybe next time.

I know I keep promising a video from Joshua Tree, but it much harder when you have 30 minutes of footage verses the three minutes we took today.
