And now, fire. It seems all of Washington is on fire.A wildfire is burning in the North Cascades just above the ranch near the town of Newhalem and Highway 20 is closed just a few miles north of us. So far, the town of Marblemount and our ranch and animals are safe.

One of the largest stock shows and sales in America, it is home of the best-of-the-best cattle and it was great to see all the outstanding Lowlines on display.

We are preparing for our fall harvest of beef and to do that we need to round up the cattle from their summer pastures and bring them back to our home ranch.
