After watching countless WW2 war movies, I have come to the realization that American troops effortlessly mow down enemy soldiers, the more elite Wehrmacht troopers and Viet Cong Sappers the easier it is for them.

For something completely different, watch perhaps the greatest war movie of all time,

Platoon 317 (full movie, this is part 1).

Please note that if any shithead says something snarky about the French army, I will be... miffed. The French Union forces (French, Algerians, Moroccans, Senegalese, Legionnares) fought in Vietnam, ALL of it... aaaaaand Laos, aaaaand Cambodia. With much less technology and air cover than the Americans in the 60's.

They fought heroically and stoically, and this conflict (perhaps my favorite area of study, of modern history) gave rise to such prominents as Bernard B. Fall, Marcel Bigeard, Lucien Bodard and De Lattre (well, that last one was already famous), Pierre Schoendoerffer.

This was a war of road bound convoys, of wide open spaces, of extremely long range patrols, of isolated outposts crewed by a few french guys and some natives (Lao, Cambodian, Viet) fighting against overwhelming odds, sometimes winning, sometimes losing and having to sneak away to friendly lines 300 miles away, 50 men against 10,000...

This is their story.

Perhaps the greatest war movie of all time, by someone who was there - Pierre Schoendoerffer.

Forgotten Histories

This is a VERY interesting book, dealing with a subject that few in this world even know about.

The American mass emigration to the Soviet Union during the Great Depression.

The Forsaken: An American Tragedy in Stalin's Russia by Tim Tzouliadis.

I accidentally found this book while searching for the NKVD units which were at Brest Litovsk in 1941, as I marveled how the movie is some of the best propaganda I've seen, and part of that search was the German-Soviet cooperation in occupied Poland 1939-1941... not that interesting...

Now off to how my febrile, insane brain works.

This will go on a hella of a tangent, so strap in.

Regarding my little search, it all started with me watching the Belorussian movie Brest, about the fighting in the fortress of Brest Litovsk in 1941.

The movie, if you are interested, is here, but you must read the subtitles (which are, amazingly, in English) to understand it, and I know how lazy you fucking bastards are - you best stick to your Private Ryan and Band of Brothers.

Anyhoo.....

*MOVIE SPOILERS*

The movie shows little children crushed by a German tank rolling over massacred civilians, and a little crying girl holding her toy is right in the path of the Nazi tank...

Of course, innocent Russian girl is captured, rape is implied, and then she is shot by a grinning German soldier...

Soviet troops, attacking with chairs (not, am not kidding), handily beat the Germans armed with MP-40's (submachine gun)... and the Germans, instead of mowing the idiots down, succumb to the brave Ivans.

The movie commits the usual sin of WW2 movies showing the German infantry as complete idiots, advancing while fully standing up, shooting from the hip, and continuing to stand up while under fire, while (of course) bunching up together to be easier targets.

I realize that you, the reader, is in all probability a civilian, but here's a pop quiz:

Somebody is shooting at you! Quick, what do you do?!

Right, you don't win anything, because if you are a non retarded human being your answer is to drop down to the ground immediately and then either try to crawl away into some cover or (if you are armed) to shoot back (or both).

If you did not answer the question correctly, please leave this blog and do not come back.

You are either an idiot or a black "gangsta" who shoots his/her gun sideways.

One of the things the movie does right is showing the NKVD troops who were present in the fortress, and their commander, one Vanshtein... You get one guess what ethnic minority this officer was. If you have trouble, know that many high (and low) ranking officers in the Soviet Union's terror units (or, if you would rather, political police, the Cheka then renamed to NKVD) were Jews, who had no qualms ordering mass executions of Russians, Ukrainians, Latvians, Poles, Estonians...

The presence of these NKVD troops fascinated me - exactly why were they on the Soviet-German border in June 1941?

Reading up on the subject, I happened upon Absolute War: Soviet Russia in the Second World War, by Chris Bellamy.

There were NKVD border guards and the 132 Independent NKVD Battalion.

NKVD Border Guards located on the border I can understand, but what exactly was the 132 Independent NKVD Battalion?

The heroic 132 Independent NKVD Battalion was a Convoy unit.

On other web sites, they are listed as an "Escort" unit by the more English speaking writers who never had the pleasure of living behind the "Iron Curtain".

What kind of troops are these?

The lesser terror: Soviet state security, 1939-1953, by Michael Parrish.

They were NKVD "troops" whose job was to "convoy", or "escort" prisoners of the Soviet system. And we are not necessarily talking Polish or German or Romanian military prisoners - the Soviet gulags were made to kill off unwanted people en masse while providing the state with slave labour.

A primer on the Gulag System on Wikipedia is here. If you've never heard of this, give it a quick read.

The NKVD Convoy Battalions main job was to transport the prisoners to these gulags (note that I did not say "from", as the foreign sounding word "gulag" can and should not be used, but instead "concentration camp" or "death camp" put in its place).

Now, as you watch (or have watched) the war movie Brest, you realize exactly WHY the Soviet troops trapped in the fortress fought so heroically against the Germans in 1941 and did not surrender.

Simply put, "Vanshtein" and his co-leaders and their underlings realized what the Germans would do when they discovered exactly who these "Convoy" troopers were.

Which ties in neatly once again, proving Viktor Suvorov's thesis of Stalin's planned attack on Nazi Germany in 1941, as detailed in his books and my limited contribution to the topic in this article.

Why else would a whole battalion of NKVD Convoy troops be based RIGHT ON THE German border?

Another thing is - Why exactly Monsieur Chris Bellamy did not list the FULL name of the unit and left it at "132 Independent NKVD Battalion" and did not add the (quite official, in the unit's name) "Convoy" or "Escort" designation?

Perhaps he did not think it important.

Perhaps he did not want to explain what was special about these "troops".

Perhaps he did not do enough research on this.

In any of these (not mutually exclusive) cases, that makes him an idiot, and not an historian.

Which reminds me - Goy, never, never, NEVER EVER EVER read a book by an modern American historian. The politically correct, ahistorical, skewed facts and lack of fact checking is sure to piss you off!

A few more things.

Regardless, the NKVD battalion and the other Soviet units DID perform heroically and did fight a tremendous fight, without resupply of food, ammo and, most importantly, water, which was not present in the fortress (as you know from the movie; wikipedia is lacking in its article here on this subject).

While I recognized the movie for a pretty effective propaganda (for idiots), there are some GREAT Russian war movies which I would encourage you to watch.

For action, and glorification of the Soviet Union, as well as a "movie monument" to the Soviet troops who fought in Afghanistan, you simply MUST watch "9 Rota" or, in English, "The 9th Company".

One of the most powerful scenes in the movie is here, as a Russian officer teaches newly arrived soldiers the reality of the situation in the country and of their moslem enemy:

You can buy this movie in America now - it's worth it. After watching it you will laugh at R. Lee, the lovable Marine drill instructor in that silly Kubrick's movie, Full Metal Something or other...

Another, perhaps the greatest war movie, is Afghan Breakdown (1990) or Afganskiy izlom (original title).

This is NOT your American Hollywood or a typical Soviet or Russian silly war movie with silly enemies and heroic allies killing hundreds of suicidal, retarded Germans (or Mujahedin, in this case).

The movie starts with real life circumcision, which, if you are a normal human being, will make you queasy and possibly throw up, or, if you are moslem, Jewish or American will not affect you at all (note to non- American readers - in Yoo Ess of Ey, Jewish doctors and Goyim doctors perform routine circumcisions due to "health reasons". Yes, Americans are THAT stupid and the country is THAT far gone).

After that, it gets worse...

If that is too much for you, may I recommend "Zvezda" or "The Star". It is the radio code for a group of Soviet razvedchiki (Spetsnaz) infiltrating behind German lines in 1944.

You CAN watch it all, however, Russian speakers will have an advantage over others here (Full movie).

The movie is very realistic; as an example, before starting on their long range patrol, the leader of the group asks the group to "jump around".

Now, I realize that some of you are probably laughing at this, and the scene in the movie at first glance looks comical, as the soldiers jump up and down for a moment.

Once you start thinking about it, you should realize that it was done to see if anything in their uniforms and on their persons made any amount of noise or was shaking excessively or stuck too much from their persons or was not packed in/secured properly, which could result in either making noise while moving or losing a piece of equipment while on patrol which could be disastrous to such a commando group.

Small details, people.

The Germans for once are not complete morons, which leads to a very tense movie. The group seeks "tongues", who are prisoners, the higher ranking the better, in order to interrogate them. The information is then sent back to HQ.

The German soldier captured by the group is a very clean, nice looking, ordinary boy, totally innocent on his face and in his eyes. A very human moment - the German, afraid, shaking in fear, and from the cold, his eyes pleading...

Once captured, what happens to the "tongue"?

If you are an American, you probably said that either he was let go (OK... nobody is that stupid) or that the group kept the prisoner with them...

Think on it a bit - a small commando group behind enemy lines - can they bother with a prisoner, who WILL slow them down, who will try to escape, who will try to shout and alert the enemy to the group's whereabouts.

Of course the prisoner is to be killed, after interrogation.

The interrogation by the Soviet Special Forces is NOT shown in the movie, as the German was scared enough that it wasn't necessary - but if a "tongue" proved obtuse, a myriad of interesting ways could and was found to make him talk, starting with inserting knives under fingernails (a relatively humane form of interrogation).

Stop, stop!

Are you, dear reader, offended?

Are you muttering about the Geneva convention and the inhumanity of it all?

Would you rather go back to the bloodless Hollywood movies with American hero effortlessly mowing down German Wehrmacht troops who all have the Down Syndrome?

My dear reader, please research the British SAS, who act in the same way the Soviet troops realistically portrayed in this movie do (i.e. they do NOT take prisoners behind enemy lines).

Of course, there are exceptions to every rule, and Americans ARE the exception.

This incident occurred during "Desert Storm" in 1991.

My blood boils as I watch this idiot explain his actions and his "compassionate thinking".

First, he picked a badly exposed position for his team, which led to...

Himself and his soldiers being discovered by Iraqi children because...

They were badly camouflaged which led to...

Over a hundred Iraqi troops attacking his position.

He was stupid, he endangered his men, he compromised the mission, did I say he was stupid?

The children should have been pinned to the ground, restrained and immediate evac called in before the commotion was investigated by other Iraqis.

Failing that, they should have been killed (as quietly as possible) and immediate evac called in.

My dear reader, are you calling me a monster now?

Would you rather watch your friends, the soldiers around you, die as they are picked off one by one by the Iraqis?

Note that Americans (the idiots) are blessed with overwhelming air firepower from the sky - other nations are not so lucky.

What do you think other soldiers from other nations would do in such a situation?

Knowing that there was a risk of no fire support?

Wait a fucking minute, did this man just say "My gosh" out loud during his interview?

Remind me again NOT to enlist in the American army, and not just because I do not feel the need to die for Israel, either.

The Soviet-German border run through close to the town of Brest Litovsk because of the 1939 dual aggression of the Soviet Union and Germany against Poland.

The first siege of the fortress in World War 2 occurred during 1939, with Polish troops defending themselves against the Wehrmacht.

You can read about this battle on a wiki article here.

Incidentally, the town is very famous in history due to a certain parade which took place after Poland was defeated, in which the Soviet and German troops marched proudly together.

Quick preamble before the link:
I am sick of writing about black folks.

Whether one can argue that it is due to genetics or the social situation (nature vs. nurture, or "They're fucked up!" vs. "That's raciss!"), we all know that there is something very wrong here.

Hordes of children from moms who have 2-6 kids with different fathers, who are without a husband, who roam trains and train stations, buses and bus stops, stores and fuel stations, to mob, assault, beat up and act violently not to steal, but for the sheer hell of it (and as a bonus, to steal an ipod or a cell phone worth $200 and sell it for $5).

I am not violent, do not own a gun, always back off from a fight (unless my life or my family's is in danger).

The web is full of "internet tough guys" who sit on hordes of gold they've buried in their yards, with an arsenal of fully automatic Kalashnikovs and Uzis, just waitin' for the black "keedz" to show up so they can show them what's what.

Idiotic.

I know others have blogged about it, but this needs to be spread by the internet because, as you may have guessed it, it wasn't on the CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS nor even BBC...

Charity carol concert attacked by Congo protesters.

The carol concert was raising money for MacMillan Cancer Support. It was organized by a group of friends whose loved ones had been treated for cancer.

Masked teenage boys ‘stormed’ the singers, throwing bottles of water and hot drinks into the crowd. A woman in her 40s, said to be undergoing treatment for breast cancer, was pulled to the ground. A youth attempted to set light to the Christmas tree, an annual gift from the city of Oslo since 1947, one witness said.

“They were determined not to let us sing and have fun and utterly ruined the atmosphere. Have your protest and make your point, but why did you have to ruin a lovely occasion with your scuminess,” Mark Horton, a conductor of the choir, wrote in a message online. The concert was cut short amid safety concerns.

The attack was ‘egged on’ by teenage girls who screamed and shouted “like the possessed”, another witness said.

Basically I have nothing to add, except to note that a bunch of (white) people who were singing Christmas tunes were attacked by an army of out of control retards (blacks).

On to the actual protest then. Firstly, Congolese protesters are quite unlike any I have encountered before. Firstly, they are unable to communicate verbally without shouting. The almost tribal chanting and shuffling dances along with the high pitched screeching of the women certainly draw attention. While they were still enclosed in the protest pen, one of the females threw herself onto the ground in hysterics. There was a surreal moment when the police and photographers looked at her, then at each other, then back at her as if in disbelief at what they were seeing. It was as though the woman had been possessed by a demon, arms flailing as her body twisted and contorted, the language barrier and the tone of her screams made it sound as though she was speaking in tongues!

Photographers were threatened with violence and death. 'Dont take ma picture' screeched one young woman, the photographer who carried on doing his job, was soon surrounded by an angry crowd. Another photographer had a tug of war with some protesters as they blatantly tried to steal his camera. Their cries and shouts which had been so passionate earlier, were now filled with venom and threat. The simplest request from the police was met with open hostility or violence. Several protesters had armed themselves with broken sticks with pointed ends, like a small spear and they were attempting to stab the cops with these.

Europe needs more immigrants because the native (white) people don't have enough babies and this results in two calamities:
the first one, there aren't enough workers and
the second one, resulting from the first one, not enough taxes are paid by the working population for the social programs so beloved of Europeans, for example to pay off the retirement programs of the (white) retired workers.

Fortunately, the answer to both these problems is (as always) more immigration, preferably from places which are not familiar with civili... er, democrati... er, racist, Western culture and mores.

Yah know?

Places like the Congo. Or Albania (hooray for drug smuggling and kidnapping white women and forcing them into sexual slavery!). Or Pakistan (what do you mean I can't marry my 14 year old cousin?!). Or Turkey (criminality and white women slavery again). Or, or... well, the list is endless.

The point is, the UK (and rest of Europe) is too stuffy and needs some joie de vivre, some spice, some zest!

This is working well, because as you can see, these Congolese folks have integrated very well into the European society to the point where they are indistinguishable from the natives (Well, except perhaps for the colour of their skin, but you shouldn't be noticing THAT, as that makes you a racist, you scum).

In fact, the retired (or soon to be retired) white men and women from the UK, France, Germany are ecstatic that these groups of people (from Congo, Albania, Turkey, Algeria, Tunisia) will slot right into factories, shops, boutiques, wine and beer producing distilleries, and pay taxes to keep their retirement comfortable

In fact, I realized something - this cunning plan of the ruling white Euro elites is so racist it beggars belief - imagine, poor Africans imported to work jobs that Europeans used to do, to pay the old, sick, feeble retired Europeans to do nothing but enjoy their retirement!

In fact, it is working so well, that the elites who rule over Europe from the IMF and Brussels have decided that there should be MORE transients from Africa as there are not enough of them.

As you can gather from watching the news, Europe is in dire need of workers. When watching CNN, CNBC or the BBC or France24, one thing is clear - there are so many jobs in the current climate of economic boom that the need for African workers is simply desperate!

But, I must ask, do these African workers know just how racist is this cunning plan? What the real agenda here is?

The white EU elites want them to be their slaves, so they can heavily tax them and provide the aging European population with the high end socialist programs they are used to.

I do not want African, Turkish et al workers to toil in the job that used to be mine, just so I can sit idly by and do nothing but enjoy my retirement.

I do not want to enjoy my older years knowing that some poor African victim was lured into my country to take my spot at my past job and that I am living the high life which he or she pays for with his taxes from his/her heavily taxed salary.

The meaning of Art

I only write when I am moved to write. Lots of things to do, too little time, stress, work, family business, work and more stress.

This moved me.

Without further ado, let me spin my tale.

When I was a pre high school boy, my parents did a great thing for me - a family trip to Washington, DC, to see our nation's capital, the government's buildings, the White House and other sites, both touristy and grand.

I remember being very reverent as I walked through the White House open for tourists, as I stood close to president Lincoln, looking up, as I climbed the stairs in the Lincoln Memorial.

I remember, after 5PM on a weekday, standing on a suddenly deserted street, with the shops being bolted down, with no restaurant open and no tourists - no people, at all - around us, with us being at first amazed and then my father saying: "This doesn't feel right, lets get out of here NOW.".

Spooky.

(Sorry, don't remember the neighborhood nor even the street).

After we drove off in search of a motel or a hotel (this was pre smart phones, GPS - only my father driving and a map on my lap), driving a few blocks away from the White House, now it is night time, we notice cars slowing in front of us and swerving to avoid some obstruction on the road in front of us.

That obstruction was a stopped car in the middle of the road, and a black guy beating up - or rather, fighting - with a woman.

In the middle of a street a few blocks from the White House.

You can imagine what went through our minds then: "What the hell is going on here, this is the Nation's CAPITAL for fucks' sake!" which, when we noticed that ALL the cars around us had black drivers and passengers changed to (you guessed it), "This doesn't feel right, lets get out of here NOW.".

Spooky.

(Sorry, don't remember the neighborhood nor even the street - it's been a long time).

But most of all I remember the great Smithsonian exhibitions.

As I walked through one museum, I saw planes, from the earliest examples (Oh. My. God. THE Wright Brothers plane!), the first operational fighter jet (the German Me262), and... hang on, is this THE B29 bomber that... why, yes, it is the Enola Gay.

Amazing.

It made me think of our human race, of how SMART we are as a people, of what we can accomplish, for good and ill - we can fly using a contraption made from wood an fabric, we can fly very, very fast, we can reach the moon, we can unleash hell on earth using the power of the atom.

Heady stuff for me (your mileage may vary).

Look at these cavemen, they had to hunt for their food and forage and compete with animals - look at how much they had to overcome, and how the hell did they ever achieve the jump from that stage to farming with grains, training dogs, building pyramids, making space shuttles...

Inspiring.

And then, also with a proud name of Smithsonian, we walked into the museum of modern a...

Hang on...

What the fuck is this shit?

Those are the actual words, the actual quote of my mother which she uttered out loud.

This Smithsonian was very different from the other museum complexes - whereas the other ones were inspiring, heady, uplifting, this one was... well...

Shit.

Just.

Well, shit.

One exhibit was a bunch of TV's stacked one on top of another and their projections were a goofy, weird face splashed across them - so that the face was sometimes in each TV, and sometimes the gigantic face was divided between them.

Oh... kay...

We walked in and saw much more... art... er...

Weirdness.

Shit, really.

We saw colored dots on a white canvas.

We stood, as a family, in front of this, for a few minutes, with our faces showing dejection, surprise, then snickering expressions.

We had, what one can call, a What the Fuck face.

All of us.

We saw the famous Andy Warhol pieces.

"Neither here nor there," said my mom.

"Doesn't do anything for me," declared my dad.

"Why is he so famous?" said the little me.

Shrugs all around.

I saw various people walking in the building, which, after my little brain did a difficult thing for it at that time - thinking critically after observing - I divided into two groups.

One group of people was solemn, walking quietly, pointing, discussing, standing in front of the "art", taking it in, walking, pointing, discussing, reading the programs trying to understand what a given artist was trying to project through his or her work (for example, the three colored dots on a white canvas was moving and profound because... well, I forgot, forgive me, but I am sure it was quote heady, inspiring and moving).

The other group was just like my family - moving around without a purpose, a permanent expression of "what the fuck" on their faces, sometimes, just sometimes, momentarily changing to the "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT?!" expression. Snickering, nervous laughter, pointing, shuffling away, then moving towards the exit, breaking into a gallop from a normal stroll as they neared the door.

I decided that, while supremely cool and important, modern art was not for me and my pea brain to understand and admire. I simply did not get it and hoped that, when I grow up, I would become more intelligent, more astute, more cosmopolitan and mature to finally GET IT.

A few years later, a bit more grown up, I went to London.

I visited a few museums (the World War II museum was a particular hit with me - I mean, I am a man, and no real man can skip the Imperial War Museum in London). I saw Greenwhich Mean Time, the tools used by ancient mariners as they navigated the seas, their clocks, appreciated their risks, courage, greed, sense of adventure.

Heady.

Inspiring.

Makes one think of how great we humans are.

From London it was just a train ride away on the EuroStar to Garde du Nord station in Paris (note to others - do bring your own food on board, the stuff they sell on board is priced for millionare pockets).

I loved Paris.

Speaking a little French, it was just enough for me to have some trouble communicating but enough for the good people to help me out.

I wondered the streets by myself, without any plans, and met a wonderful girl there who was a tourist herself - job interview, you see.

We went on a whirlwind tour - Tour d'Eiffel, Notre Dame Cathedral - inspiring. What cannot we humans accomplish?

The Trocadero, in front of the tower and the beautiful park place below me, with cheerful humans walking down there.

Nice view.

Walking the Champs d'Elysee, with an American group and a lady singing "Ohh Champs d'Elysee, da na na na naaaa!" and laughing with us, happy to see it and realize her dream.

We saw the Versailles, the beautiful gardens around it and the inside of the place itself.

Beauty.

Strolling near the Arc de Triomphe, with the crazy cars doing crazy things around it on the rondo.

Scary.

But the one thing I remember the most, the one thing that really left an impression with me, was the Louvre.

If there is one museum on this earth that every human should see, should visit at least once in their life that is it.

(Think of it like a Hajj for intelligent people).

The history of the Louvre is very simple - France had a very successful military, especially during the reign of the bloodthirsty and ambitious Napoleon, and they were very successful in traveling all other the world and stealing art treasures which struck their fancy.

Which was pretty much everything.

As the Louvre grew in importance, various kings started to purchase different stuff to fill it more, then private individuals gave their family art collections and... voila!

I started with the ancient section.

I walked in between the Sumerian stone guardians - the sphinxes - one on each side of me.

I saw the phenomenal works - figurines, mostly - from the dawn of recorded history.

Sumer.

The age of these carvings blew me away, as well as the obvious skill of the artisans.

I saw cuneiform tablets with writing on them from thousands of years before First Anno Domini.

Ancient Egypt (look at it!).

Amazing.

Just look at it!

We did stuff like this WHEN?

Then onto Ancient Greece.

Rome.

The statues perfected.

Perfectly proportioned faces.

The artists clearly showing us what they wanted us to see, what they wanted us to feel.

The artisans statue making craft perfected.

The museum programme in my hand, went to my pocket.

I could read on what the experts thought a given statue was of, what it signified, but I decided to just take it all in as art - and to learn the history afterward (note: as a tourist, DO buy the goddamn Louvre museum book with glossy paper and hundreds of pictures - you will treasure it).

That was the start of my love affair with antiquity, with ancient history, before ancient Judea and the mono religions usurped the world with their hatred... but that's another story.

Suffice it to say, I was blown away by what the ancient artists could accomplish and how much was (fortunately!) saved for us.

For me.

For the human race.

After the triumph that was the ancient section, I was reluctant to move onto the middle ages and renaissance paintings section.

It was different than the ancients section - whereas the Sumerian, Greek, Roman sections were mostly statues, now I was in the world of paint.

I stood in front of a painting, looking at an expression of a peasant girl. Then noticing the subtle. There was a candle in the painting, which was giving light to people's faces close to it, leaving one side in the light, one in the shadows.

I laughed aloud (you must remember, you are dealing with a dork here, and yes, before you ask, people around me DID look at me and quite probably classified me as an idiot) as I realized that this was GREAT FUN for the painter.

He was playing with the light and shadows, the dynamic light and shadows, with the candle in the middle of the composition.

He was having fun and loving painting it.

I could just imagine a grown man being so full of joy, laughing to himself inwardly, his facial expression showing strain, as he gingerly used geometry, math, angles, physics and his genius and physical prowess (physical prowess is NOT ALWAYS, or perhaps should not be, used to denote a grown child's skill with a basketball or a soccer ball, but can and SHOULD be used to denote a human's skill with a hammer and chisel and a painting brush...).

The Dutch Masters

The whole Dutch school of painting was dealing with light (then given by candle or a window in a room) and its effect on people and objects near and far.

I made it into a rather large room/hall, and was standing on one side of it, all alone, admiring the technique of a particular painting, noticing the mastery of the artist, how it all flowed and how beautiful it was and thinking to myself: "Well, this is the Dutch Masters exhibit, and this, this painting was painted by THE MASTER of his craft".

Spectacular.

Literally breathtaking.

I finally turned around, as I was quite annoyed by the rather large group behind me hovering close to a particular spot on the wall.

I moved in close, elbowed my way in, and saw it - perhaps the most famous art piece in the world.

The Mona Lisa (OMG OMG!)

Behind ugly, gaudy, heavy, thick plastic cover.

Meh.

This... Well, Leonardo da Vinci was a genius, an unparalleled inventor and futurist, but I was not impressed by the small (supposedly self) portrait of a lady (or Leonardo himself as an illuminated individual).

Whateva.

I went back to admiring the Dutch Masters, the TRULY GIGANTIC paintings they created, the candles and windows and the effect of light on a scene.

You know - simple, boring stuff, not like THE Mona Lisa - no, a peasant girl or a group of merchant men playing cards.

Rubes for rudes, indeed.

I never felt as affected by a museum as I was when I was in, and immediately after leaving, the Louvre.

It affects me to this day, with my curiosity of ancient cultures (you know, Sumer, Ur, Harapan, Assyria, Graham Hancock, Schoch, Kenyon, West, Dunn - standard stuff).

The next day, I briefly thought about going to a modern art exhibition in Paris - but thought better of it.

I felt light, as if I could fly (no drugs were ingested by me, unless one counts Orangina as such), I felt like a new man, inspired, uplifted, happy, proud, so very proud of my human race, and I felt that if I visited a modern art exhibition chances were that those feelings would be gone.

Replaced with... well...

Well, with shit, frankly.

I felt like going to such a place would take away from my valuable tourist time in Paris.

So I didn't.

I called that girl from the day ago instead.

After coming back to America, I did not go to art museums, and any mention of modern art, Picasso, and especially Warhol, made me laugh.

I can't help it - I must do so when confronted with absurdity.

I started to wonder why the art of the Ancients - Ur, Sumer, Greece, Rome - was so simple, yet so beautiful. Why the people painting compositions of light on a scene were probably giggling like schoolboys kissing their first girl as they deftly manoeuvred their brushes, getting the colors on their palettes mixed just so.

I wondered what the fuck happened to modern art?

How did it happen?

Of course, such philosophical musings were not very high on my daily "to-do" list, and so this question was unanswered, nagging me deep in the dark recesses of my mind.

Then I happened upon Dr. Lasha Darkmoon's piece on art in the theoccidentalobserver and I saw the light.

And the shit.

But mostly the light.

But I know you.

A modern master, a true art genius, improving upon the obsolete techniques of the so called Dutch Masters, giving us his innate playfullness as he plays with lights and shadow, in the aptly titled piece of art called "Shadows", Miiiiiiiiiisteeeeer Aaaaaaaaaaaandy Warhooooooolololololol!

OK, I know this is hard, you are (probably) not a professional art critic, before you read Dr. Darkmoon's article you had no idea what the Frankfurt School was (and now you do, you lucky dog you!), so breathe in, out, think and pick a winner.

Yes, it is a clone of another cynical war blogger who shall not be named here.

But damn, the cynicism just flies off the page and feels my body with venom.

When you give the average fucktard on the street a say in how countries get run, bad shit happens for rich people. That's pretty much why there are no real democracies left on the planet anymore. The only time true democracy showed up it was Athens in 461 BC and good old Pericles was initiating a golden age. US style democracy is all about providing the plebs with the illusion that their vote matters whilst the corporate oligarchy feeds them the information on who to vote for whilst also controlling the candidate list. Pretty fucking genius really.

Libya, under Gaddafi, supplied 10% of the Euros oil (the reason why the French and British got concerned for [sic] humanitarian reasons) and one thing about Libyan oil is that it is especially 'sweet'. That means it only costs a dollar to refine a barrel as opposed to most other oils out there (barring Brent North Sea crude) with high sulphur content. Those Canadian tar sands the US is in love with right now are dirty and the pipeline they want to run to Texas means the US is really starting to get jittery about the future of suburban voters. If shit gets too expensive that voting block might finally go 'off reservation' and elect a guy the corporate fucks have not already bought.

Truth is though, I'm pretty skeptical on the efficacy of protest movements in our current sci fi dystopia. I'm talking protest movements that actually achieve their aims. For instance, one million people marched and peacefully waved signs in London against the Iraq war and that changed absolutely nothing. The corporate oligarchy went ahead with their proxy resource war even when a sizable portion of the general public called bullshit on the reasons behind it. Entrenched power structures just don't give a shit what the plebs think anymore.

Back in 2003, we were living in a world where the corporate oligarchy still at least felt a need to come up with a WMD cover story so they could stake a claim in the heart of Mesopotamia's energy reserves. China and Russia hated it but couldn't do anything to oppose that resource grab. Fast forward to Libya in 2011 and the plutocracy didn't even feel the need to bother with costly machinations in popular media and conducted that proxy resource war unmolested by popular dissent.

Then came the financial crisis and the masses were getting restless so they tossed the plebs Obama, a handsome black guy who got the suit job where you live in a nice house in Washington DC and get to read the oligarchy's script while the corporate media snap pictures. "Hope and change". Yeah, right. Being a voter these days is like being some teenage punk kid shopping at Hot Topic, buying the corporate made 'rebel' T-shirt and missing the irony completely. Truth is, there are no voter choices that haven't already been pre approved by the entities that run our 'democracy'.

I swear, every vid I see of one of those happy exuberant guys has them firing off mag after mag of 7.62mm at the sky and not giving a single fuck. For hours. Everyday. And that got me thinking. How cheap is ammo in North Africa these days anyway? I mean, in a proper war, isn't ammo gold? Last time I checked, I can't remember seeing other 'freedom fighters' in other conflicts blasting the sky after victory. I don't recall the VietCong shooting down clouds when they finally captured Saigon in '75. Chechnyan rebels sure weren't gunning down the sun after they held back the mighty Russians for a while in the mid '90s . Maybe it's just an Arab thing to piss away ammo.

The Iranians really would like to up the ante as a regional player in the Middle East. It really pissed them off in April when the Saudis marched into Bahrain with tanks and started slapping around the Shia protestors there because they make up 60% of the population and suddenly wondered why they can't vote. That's a legitimate beef but went largely unreported in Western countries where it pays to keep your mouth shut about the Saudi's incase they tighten the nozzle on the oil wells to remind everyone whose boss. That would hamper the "economic recovery".

What is the nastiest, meanest, most lowdown, bloodthirsty, going medieval on your ass war happening in the world right now that nobody really gives a shit about and isn't in Africa, the home of wars nobody gives a shit about? What major war has racked up 34,000 dead since 2006 and has all kinds of torture deaths and indiscriminate killings of non combatants perpetrated just for the hell of it and for pure media attention designed to make regular people shit bricks? Need a hint? One of the battlefields is a mile south of San Diego.

Yeah, it's the Mexican Drug War.

ure, the Greek brazen bull or the Middle Ages breaking wheel offer up hellish death from the past, but seriously, Mexican drug cartels are offering up all new kinds of horrible today like slow decapitation, death by burning tire necklace and plain old live burial in the desert; so it's hard for the American Idol voting public north of the border to process the whole thing without flipping channels. There is a vague existential unease knowing that shit like that is going down just next door but nothing more TV watching can't fix. What's most disturbing is that the Mexicans south of many a gated air conditioned community in the US, are going medieval on each other in a struggle to provide Americans with sufficient nose candy, vein tar and weed to fill out their weekends with a proper mind altering drug arsenal.

US politicians can never say this because it requires honesty to admit that it is America's appetite for drugs that is the cause of the war south of their border.

The city of Ciudad Juarez was recently designated the second most dangerous city in the world after Mogadishu. Yeah, that's in Somalia, where the US lost two Blackhawks and the crews got hacked up with machetes. Juarez, second best death hole on the planet today, beats out Baghdad and Kabul and adjoins the US city of El Paso. The politicians are too busy in Iraq and Afghanistan, air dumping trillions of dollars for our 'freedom', while here at home Ciudad Juarez is inches south of sovereign US territory and is a war zone? Yeah, go figure that shit.

Not one, but several well-supported estimates have indicated that if 330 million US was spent to screen people with CRP tests and stethoscopes listening for heart issues, we would probably save a few thousand lives every year from cardiac failure deaths alone, let alone other causes. This is a few thousands of times more effective than any potential risk reduction from terrorism. This isn't ironic, it's criminal.

I guess that the US government has to be involved in the drug trade. How can it be possible for so many drugs to make it into virtually ALL the cities in there? And how do the hundreds of TONS of dollars make it to Latin America?

If the US government cannot stop shipments of tons of cocaine from getting inside the country, how will they stop terrorist from getting bombs in? They cannot stop illegal immigration, how will they stop actual terrorist from coming in the same way? Why molest its own citizens with TSA checks?

I will tell you why. It is bullshit. They want to keep the citizenry controlled and tame, and at the same time keep the drugs coming in. There´s BIG money to be made.

They do not want to stop the drug trade, and they want to keep fighting the fake war on terror until the US joins the ranks of 3rd world countries. What other explanation exists?

What can I say, we live in interesting times.

Speaking of victimology, Israel is using The Jewish holocaust as a tool to obtain funding for itself, the nation.

Being a victim paints you in a light of being right.

Suffering and pain from the past can be used to acquire material goods now.

Being a victim can be used to justify vengeance.

And so the pathetic black underclass in the USofA justifies being leeches on the system, Israel uses and will continue to use ad infinitum the World War II Jewish Holocaust...

There were other holocausts, like the Armenian Genocide or the Gypsy Holocaust in WW2 or the Holodomor, when Stalin killed off by hunger millions of Ukrainians - poisoning food stores and stealing food from farmers condemning them to slow death and cannibalism.

But the other holocausts are not important, indeed, the Jewish state went so far as to threaten the country of Ukraine into not classifying the Holodomor as a genocidal event (which it undoubtedly is).

No news for thinking observant people that an "american" organization - The Anti Defamation League (ADL) - is basically a proxy for Israeli policy, and is used not just in the USofA but on an international, strategic scale.

That there is even a question of dual loyalty in the Jewish community is laughable (an older 2008 article on that question from me here).

Armenian Genocide Recognition: Bill at Israeli Knesset’s less biased committee , from May 23 2011;

Victimology is important.

Victimology is a global strategic asset, just like an aircraft carrier or nuclear weapons.

If you ever took an accounting course, think of "being a victim" as a "goodwill asset".

Deputies of the “Israel is Our Home” party spoke against putting the genocide recognition issue on the agenda. This party unites Jews that emigrated to Israel from the former Soviet Union, particularly from Azerbaijan. Prior to the voting Yosef Shagal, a member of that faction, chairman of the parliamentary association of Israeli-Azeri friendship, said:

“Supporters of the recognition of the so-called “Armenian Genocide” are just a small bunch of Israeli marginals, to whom that issue is perhaps the only opportunity to remind of their political presence.”

The cornerstone of the very small country in the Middle East, Israel, is the biblical mumbo jumbo about a tribe called the Israelites who lived in that general area an odd two thousand year ago (and continues to live there, as the old Israelites became - you guessed it - Palestinians, but don't say this to your Jewish friend, or you might give him or her a heart attack from the attach of vicious choler...).

Quite recently, one of the Education Committee members, commenting on the prospect of the bill recognition, said:

“If we recognize the Armenian Genocide, we will be asked to do the same for the massacre in the Balkans, Holodomor, they will even remember Pol Pot (a politician from Cambodia who committed genocide against his own people and annihilated several millions in three and a half years) and Idi Amin, the president of Uganda, founder of one of the cruelest authoritarian regimes in Africa). And we believe that the only case of genocide - a systematic and intended extermination of a people – occurred during the Second World War.”

Recognizing other organized mass murder campaigns - which is what a holocaust is - would dilute the victimology of Israel.

No one who has studied or even google'ed Pol Pot can say with a straight face that it was NOT a genocide - the whole idea of Pol Pot's reign and calling it a genocidal reign is laughable.

But all those genocides - organized mass murders - in Cambodia, in Rwanda, in China, in Armenia, in Ukraine - happened in weak countries; countries which are not big players on the grand geostrategic chessboard.

Looking at a map, Israel does not seem like a superpower, but, of course, looks are deceiving.

This whole blog is a result of me being incredulous and flabbergasted at the power of the pro Israel Lobby in Congress and over American policy - foreign policy (war on Israel's enemies).

As to the my claim of Israel being a superpower - take a look at my It's AIPAC time of the year again; however, do NOT READ the article - just page down to the pictures of heads of state of all the political, military and economic superpowers paying homage to the Jewish nationalist state and the supreme religion of the land.

This - these pictures, these scenes of the mighty humbling themselves - is partially the result of Israel's standing in the world as a superpower, but also the intelligent use of victimology - the WW2 Jewish Holocaust - as a political weapon.

And here we come to the crux of the issue.

Victimology is used by the strong to justify evil actions on the weak.

Israel uses it to steal land from inhabitants whose families tilled, farmed, worked, bled and lived on for thousands of years - so that Joe Schmoe from Brooklyn or Russia can come in and stake a claim over the choicest bits.

And now, seeing the power of being the victim - the strongest (militarily) superpower of the globe, my country, eagerly joined the ranks "victims".

On September 11, 2001, something happened in New York City.

Thousands of people died.

This action has been cynically used by the ruling elites to justify attacking and occupying Iraq (even though, even in the official version of the story, Saddam Hussein's Iraq had absolutely nothing to do with this outrage).

Modern History - Hurricane Katrina, Savagery, Racism and Combat Operations, 2005

There is a forgotten chapter in American military history, and it is a very recent one. It happened in 2005 in New Orleans, Louisiana, in our back yard.

I remember watching hundreds of TV reports about the situation in New Orleans during Katrina, how the people of the city were stranded, abandoned by the government, with allegations of racism (New Orleans is a VERY black city).

The phrase "Heckuva job!" became an insult and an internet meme, as it was the phrase uttered by then president 'w' bush praising the then FEMA director, Michael D. Brown.

On my TV there was a stream of pictures of people being rescued by helicopter or stuck on the roofs of houses, of flooding, of... crowds of black people looting.

There were stories of rescue workers, of people fleeing, of looting, of rapes....

The New Orleans Superdome (a gigantic American Football stadium) was designated an official shelter for the duration of the emergency.

There was something in the news about that stadium, how people were trapped there, of rapes, horror, murders...

Wait.

Something does not fit here in this narrative.

Lets try to find out what happened - this was only 6 years ago, and sources should be numerous for us to find the truth.

First, the death toll in Louisiana, specifically New Orleans:

Final reports indicate that the official death toll, according to the Louisiana Department of Health, was 1,464 people.

There were six deaths confirmed at the Superdome. Four of these were from natural causes, one was the result of a drug overdose, and one was a suicide. At the Convention Center, four bodies were recovered. One of these four is believed to be the result of a homicide.

Here is what the Wikipedia states were the conditions after the hurricane in the city:

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, looting, violence and other criminal activity became serious problems. With most of the attention of the authorities focused on rescue efforts, public security in New Orleans degraded quickly. By August 30, looting had spread throughout the city, often in broad daylight and in the presence of police officers.

"The looting is out of control. The French Quarter has been attacked," City Councilwoman Jackie Clarkson said. "We're using exhausted, scarce police to control looting when they should be used for search and rescue while we still have people on rooftops."

Incapacitated by the breakdown of transportation and communication, as well as overwhelmed in terms of numbers, police officers could do little to stop crime, and shopkeepers who remained behind were left to defend their property alone.[42] Looters included gangs of armed gunmen,[citation needed] and gunfire was heard in parts of the city. Along with violent, armed robbery of non-essential valuable goods,[citation needed] many incidents were of residents simply taking food, water, and other commodities from unstaffed grocery stores.[citation needed] There were also reports of some police officers looting

"Sniper fire" was also reported throughout the city, targeted at rescue helicopters, relief workers, and police officers. One of the possible causes of the sniper fire was resistance to relocation or evacuation.[45] One report of violence involved police killing two people on the Danziger Bridge, which carries the Chef Menteur Highway across the industrial canal, who were unarmed and whose homicides were later found to have been covered up by the New Orleans police who planted a gun and fabricated a story about being under fire [46]

Looting and "mayhem" was also hampering efforts to evacuate the Tulane Medical Center, as well. "If we do not have the federal presence in New Orleans tonight at dark, it will no longer be safe to be there, hospital or no hospital,"[47] Acadian Ambulance Services C.E.O. Richard Zuschlag told CNN. Several news sources reported instances of fighting, drug use, theft, rape, and murder in the Superdome and other refuge centers.[48]

The numbers refer to sources from which these statements were pulled, however, I notice a lot of citation needed entries in that article, lets find some back up sources for the looting, shooting and general anarchy which occurred in the aftermath of the hurricane.

Some initial reports of mass chaos, particularly in stories about the Superdome, were later found to be exaggerated or rumor.[44] In the Superdome for example, the New Orleans sex crimes unit investigated every report of rape or atrocity and found only two verifiable incidents, both of sexual assault. The department head told reporters, "I think it was urban myth. Any time you put 25,000 people under one roof, with no running water, no electricity and no information, stories get told." Government expected hundreds of dead to be found in the Superdome, but instead found only 6 dead (of which there were 4 natural deaths, one drug overdose and one suicide).

So the stories of the horrors which happened during Katrina in the Superdome were exaggerated, according to this Wikipedia article.

In a case of reported sniper fire, the "sniper" turned out to be the relief valve of a gas tank popping every few minutes.[44]

Ah, so, really, everything you heard on the news about New Orleans gunfire, murders and looting was exaggerated.

Boy, do I feel relieved.

Lets check some other sources, notably some of the non-American press, for some accounts which will surely confirm this happy story...

Times Online:

Further up Highway 10 hundreds of volunteer firefighters, auxiliary coastguards and others with small boats were anxious to rescue people, but were being held back because one of their vessels had been shot at.

“We are trying to do our job here but we can’t if they are shooting at us. We don’t know who and we don’t know why but we don’t want to get in a situation of having to return fire,” Major Joey Broussard, of the Louisiana State Fisheries and Wildlife Division, said.

Ken Dunnen, and his fellow volunteer firefighters from the Ville Platte Fire Department in Louisiana, was out on a cutter and saw surreal scenes.

“Houses are totalled, animals are dead and floating in the water. We are riding level with the tops of the street lamps. . . . It’s one hell of a mess, one hell of a mess.”

Inside Sheriff Lee, of Jefferson parish in New Orleans, is sitting at a table, fuming. He is doing his best to alleviate the biggest catastrophe he will ever witness, but lacks even the most basic of resources.

He cannot communicate with his own officers, and his officers can barely communicate with each other, because the overloaded radio frequency keeps jamming. The chain of command for Louisiana’s hurricane rescue plan has missing links. There is tension between the numerous agencies involved in the relief effort, and some of Sheriff Lee’s deputies are so overwhelmed and demoralised that they are giving up.

“It’s not getting better — it’s getting worse,” he says. “This is probably the largest national disaster in the history of the US and the co-ordination that should be in effect all these days after the event just isn’t happening. It’s lack of proper planning and lack of co-ordination. There are plenty of Indians, but no chiefs.”

Around two miles from his command post, a section of Highway 10 has become a giant refugee camp. The evacuees are gradually being taken away in buses and trucks to shelters as far away as Houston, Texas. But some have started turning up at his door, pleading for food and water. Some have not had a drink since Tuesday.

“Except a box of crackers for my deputies, I don’t have anything to give these people. We don’t have water, electricity or toilet facilities. How can I take all these refugees when we can’t even take care of our own people?” he complains.

This... this was a gigantic fuck up.

How about the American media, say, CNN?

CNN, Sniper fire halts hospital evacuation, from September 01, 2005:

The evacuation of patients from Charity Hospital was halted Thursday after the facility came under sniper fire twice.

A physician at the hospital said that despite the incidents staff members and patients were eager to get out after three days with no water and electricity and sparse food rations.

"A single sniper or two snipers shouldn't have to shut down a hospital evacuation for two hours now," Dr. Ruth Berggren told CNN. "I look outside, I'm not seeing any military."

Berggren's husband, Dr. Tyler Curiel, witnessed both incidents.

"We were coming in from a parking deck at Tulane Medical Center, and a guy in a white shirt started firing at us," Curiel said. "The National Guard [troops], wearing flak jackets, tried to get a bead on this guy. "

The first incident happened around 11:30 a.m. (12:30 p.m. ET) as Curiel and his National Guard escorts headed back to the hospital after dropping off several patients at nearby Tulane Medical Center to be evacuated by helicopter.

Charity shares a helipad with Tulane Medical Center, which is across the street.

They were traveling in a convoy of amphibious vehicles, and Curiel said the vehicle behind him was targeted.

About an hour later, another gunman opened fire at the back of Charity Hospital.

"We got back to Charity Hospital with with food from Tulane and we said, 'OK the snipers are behind us, let's move on,' " Curiel said. "We started loading patients [for transport] and 20 minutes later, shots rang out."

The National Guard soldiers told staff to get away from the windows, and evacuations were halted.

Obviously, this was just a popping gas tank, and the hospital workers and National Guardsmen were just being scaredy cats.

She said about 200 patients still need to be evacuated. All of the patients in intensive care have been evacuated.

Charity Hospital has no electricity and no water, and the only food available is a couple of cans of vegetables and graham crackers.

Evacuations by boat were halted after armed looters threatened medics and overturned one of their boats.

Widespread looting and random gunfire have been reported across New Orleans. Police told CNN that groups of armed men roamed the streets overnight.

Look, people, these are just isolated incidents...

CNN, Relief workers confront 'urban warfare', September 01, 2005:

Violence disrupted relief efforts Thursday in New Orleans as authorities rescued desperate residents still trapped in the flooded city and tried to evacuate thousands of others living among corpses and human waste.

Federal Emergency Management Agency Director Michael Brown said his agency was attempting to work "under conditions of urban warfare."

Police snipers were stationed on the roof of their precinct, trying to protect it from armed miscreants roaming seemingly at will.

Officers warned a CNN crew to stay off the streets because of escalating danger, and cautioned others about attempted shootings and rapes by groups of young men.

Obviously, this was the result of the panic and such shootings and rapes, if they did occur, were few and isolated cases and are used to tarnish the reputation of the great city (67% black population) and this great nation.

Residents expressed growing frustration with the disorder evident on the streets, raising questions about the coordination and timeliness of relief efforts.

"Why is no one in charge?" asked one frustrated evacuee at the convention center. "I find it hard to believe."

Government officials insisted they were putting forth their best efforts and pleaded for patience, saying further help was on the way.

One displaced resident at the Louisiana Superdome issued a warning to authorities who may be headed to the stadium, where up to 30,000 people sought refuge after Monday's Hurricane Katrina and now await evacuation to Texas by bus.

"Please don't send the National Guard," Raymond Cooper told CNN by telephone. "Send someone with a bullhorn outside the place that can talk to these people first."

He described scenes of lawlessness and desperation, with people simply dragging corpses into corners.

Remember, officially the story is "Government expected hundreds of dead to be found in the Superdome, but instead found only 6 dead (of which there were 4 natural deaths, one drug overdose and one suicide)".

This was just deluded people running around in a panic, seeing things that simply were not there.

"They have quite a few people running around here with guns," he said. "You got these young teenage boys running around up here raping these girls."

Elsewhere, groups of armed men wandered the streets, buildings smoldered and people picked through stores for what they could find.

Brown ["heckuva job!" -AG] told CNN Thursday evening that federal officials only found out about the convention center crisis earlier in the day, and that he had since directed that "all available resources" be made available there.

Boat rescue teams looking for Katrina survivors told CNN they had been ordered to stand down Thursday by FEMA officials concerned about security.

However, FEMA issued a statement from Washington denying it had suspended operations, though the agency conceded there had been "isolated incidents where security has become an issue."

See, rescue operations were not suspended (boats going out trying to rescue people trapped in their houses), there were just unnamed "isolated incidents".

Perhaps some wild life attacked the boats, like, say, waterfowl, ducks maybe?

The media brought a lot of attention to the looting phenomena...

There was the so called "looting", but, really, it was just desperate people trying to survive, taking only necessities...

Like televisions, athletic shoes, NFL jerseys (go Saints! woo!).

As you can see in the embedded video, the police were also there to provide a presence and help out in this community endeavour - perhaps this was a new community program of fitting in with the population?

Maybe it should be tried in other American cities - then the police won't be as unsupported in certain urban communities?

How did the New Orleans police fare in the rescue efforts?

Foreign press, BBC, Briton slams US rescue 'shambles', from Monday, 5 September 2005:

Ged Scott, 36, of Liverpool, told BBC News that hotel staff and guests had received no help from the authorities.

He told BBC News he had helped to mount security patrols in the hotel while shots rang out nearby.

"We saw people making their way down the rivers that were streets, dragging their last belongings with them," Mr Scott, a bus driver, said.

He told BBC News he had been on his annual holiday at New Orleans' Ramada Hotel with his wife Sandra, 37, and their seven-year-old son, Ronan.

Without their driving licences they were unable to hire a car and flee the city ahead of the storm and decided to remain in their hotel after being warned the Superdome would be too dangerous.

The handling of the relief operation had been "horrendous", Mr Scott added.

"I could not describe how bad the authorities were - taking photographs of us as we are standing on the roof waving for help, for their own personal photo albums, little snapshot photographs."

He said at one point a group of girls was standing on the roof of the hotel lobby and called to passing rescuers for help.

"They [the authorities] said to them 'well show us what you've got' - doing signs for them to lift their t-shirts up. The girls said no, and they said 'well fine', and motored off down the road in their motorboat.

"That's the sort of help we had from the authorities," he said.

Mr Scott added: "The only information we got from anybody in authority was if a policeman came past and we shouted to them out of the windows.

"The only information we ever got off them was negative, 'Do not go here. Do not go there'.

"There was no, 'Are you OK? Are you safe? Have you got water?'.

"Most of the time they would ignore us."

At night, the police presence disappeared altogether, leaving the stranded guests and staff to defend themselves.

"You would hear shots ringing out during the night and that was one of the most worrying things, because we had no security," Mr Scott said.

Obviously these "shots" were just a gas tank popping; coming from a less civilized country like the UK, where people are not allowed to have guns, it is easy to see how Mr. Ged could have been fooled by these noises.

"We patrolled the halls and checked the doors throughout the night in the hotel - but if someone had wanted to come in, there was not much we could have done about it."

They had a torch - but, Mr Scott said, "you knew if you went down in the dark the torch would only make you a better target".

Nevertheless, the staff and guests had managed to chase one group of looters from the building, he added.

He then had had to wade waist-deep through the filthy water to barricade the hotel's doors.

"It was like wading through an open sewer.

"It reeked to high heaven and made you want to vomit.

"Outside I could see bodies floating in the water."

Mr Scott told BBC News he had ripped wires attached to speakers from the walls of the flooded hotel bar and tied tables and chairs together as makeshift barricades.

When they were finally rescued it had been by Louisiana game wardens, who had entered the hotel with rifles and fixed bayonets, Mr Scott said.

Obviously, in any natural disaster (such as the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami), or man made disaster (such as the biggest man made disaster since Chernobyl occurring right now in Japan), rescuers are usually armed and have fixed bayonets, as a precautionary measure.

This cannot only occur in America, right?

I mean, this is a first world country... right?

FOX news (sorry), New Orleans Engulfed in Public Health Emergency, September 02, 2005:

The stagnant water covering 80 percent of the city is contaminated with human and animal corpses, human waste and raw sewage, posing the potential for outbreaks of typhoid, cholera and tuberculosis.

Sewers cannot operate until the floodwaters are pumped out of the city. Since that is weeks or even months away, the stagnant water will likely become more contaminated, increasing the threat of mosquito-borne diseases like West Nile virus, dengue fever and malaria.

Just a temporary... situation. Does not sound like hell on earth at all.

But officials at the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other health experts said cholera and typhoid are not considered to be high risks in the area. And some experts said worries about catching illnesses from being near human or animal corpses are somewhat overblown.

See? No problem.

Officials were trying to evacuate 10,000 people — patients, staff and refugees — out of nine hospitals battling floodwaters or using generators running low on fuel. Yet even as they tried to evacuate, many hospitals faced an onslaught of new patients — people with injuries and infections caused by the storm, people plucked from rooftops who are dehydrated, dialysis and cancer patients in need of their regular chemotherapy or radiation treatments.

"We have thousands of people who are getting ill ... our hospitals need to be prepared to take care of the incoming sick," said Coletta Barrett of the Louisiana Hospital Association.

Thursday morning, doctors at two desperately crippled hospitals in New Orleans called The Associated Press pleading for rescue, saying they were nearly out of food and power and had been forced to move patients to higher floors to escape looters.

Why were these people not evacuated?

Obviously there was the government (local and federal) fuckup, at all levels, but also, perhaps there was the issue of racism, because, lets face it, the federal government could give a shit about black people...

"Hospitals are trying to evacuate," said Coast Guard Lt. Cmdr. Cheri Ben-Iesan, spokesman at the city emergency operations center. "At every one of them, there are reports that as the helicopters come in people are shooting at them. There are people just taking pot shots at police and at helicopters, telling them, 'You better come get my family."'

Richard Zuschlag, president of Acadian Ambulance Service Inc., described the chaos at a suburban hospital.

"We tried to airlift supplies into Kenner Memorial Hospital late last evening and were confronted by an unruly crowd with guns, and the pilots refused to land," he said.

"My medics were crying, screaming for help. When we tried to land at Kenner, my pilots got scared because 100 people were on the helipad and some of them had guns. He was frightened and would not land."

You see, the racist (white) rescue pilots refused to land and evacuate the people because they were under the (obviously mistaken) impression that they were being shot at!

Now that is racism of the most odious level!

Because, really, none of this really happened.

Guardian, Murder and rape - fact or fiction?, from 6 September 2005:

There were two babies who had their throats slit. The seven-year-old girl who was raped and murdered in the Superdome. And the corpses laid out amid the excrement in the convention centre.

In a week filled with dreadful scenes of desperation and anger from New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina some stories stood out.

But as time goes on many remain unsubstantiated and may yet prove to be apocryphal.

New Orleans police have been unable to confirm the tale of the raped child, or indeed any of the reports of rapes, in the Superdome and convention centre.

New Orleans police chief Eddie Compass said last night: "We don't have any substantiated rapes. We will investigate if the individuals come forward."

And while many claim they happened, no witnesses, survivors or survivors' relatives have come forward.

You see - no survivors means that this never really occurred.

And we all know how easy it is for traumatized, shocked rape victims to talk to disbelieving authorities in a condition of total anarchy.

Indeed, no rapes were reporte...

WDSU New Orleans, December 23, 2005:

Despite widespread efforts to downplay reports of an outbreak of heinous crimes in the chaos after the storm, there’s new information about what really happened.

WDSU Newschannel 6 Reporter Alec Gifford has uncovered 40 reported cases of rape.

One high-profile victim has gone public to urge others to come forward

“Hi. My name is Charmaine Neville. I was in New Orleans at a school after Hurricane Katrina and I was raped. I know many more women were raped and are afraid to talk about it,” Neville said in a public service announcement.

Neville, a New Orleans singer, also gives out a phone number in the PSA which goes directly to the Louisiana Foundation Against Sexual Assault. That organization disputes the official count of only four reported rapes.

Tracy Rubenstein is a member of the New Orleans Rape Crisis Center.

Alec Gifford: Do you believe there were just four rapes in New Orleans after Katrina?

Rubenstein: No, I don’t.

So far, there are 40 separate incidents related to Hurricane Katrina and Rita.

“We're expecting in the next year or coming months to have more survivors come forward. As they feel ready to get help,” said Lt. David Benelli, who heads up the NOPD’s Sex Crimes Unit.

Alec Gifford: What do you say to people who may feel the police are simply trying to downplay this?

Benelli: Oh, absolutely not! We definitely will investigate any case of sexual assault, regardless of when it occurred.

Mayor Ray Nagin initially dismissed the reports of widespread rapes, blaming it on a media frenzy after the storm. But when he latest testified before a congressional committee in Washington, he seemed less certain.

“The rapes, I can't imagine someone being raped and wanting to come into this media frenzy and expose themselves to that. I hope that at some point in time these ladies will come forward,” Nagin testified.

One note - the 40 rapes are for both hurricane Katrina and Rita.

Here's NPR, National Public Radio, December 21, 2005:

Law-enforcement authorities dismissed early reports of widespread rapes in New Orleans during the lawless days following Hurricane Katrina. But a growing body of evidence suggests there were more storm-related sexual assaults than previously known.

Female victims, now displaced from New Orleans, are slowly coming forward with a different story than the official one.

I can't believe that government officials in the USofA would downplay horrifying stories of rape for political reasons.

This NPR propaganda piece makes it sound like there are two stories - one, the official one, and the other, the truth.

I am outraged.

Judy Benitez is executive director of the Louisiana Foundation Against Sexual Assault

Concerned over unreported and underreported rapes, her organization, together with the National Sexual Violence Resource Center — which is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention — created a national database to track sexual assaults that happened after Katrina. In the six weeks since the Web site has been up, with almost no publicity, it has received 42 reports of sexual assaults.

A spokesperson with the Resource Center said the number is steadily growing. Already, these preliminary cases show a high number of gang rapes and rapes by strangers, both unusual characteristics. The 42 reports include assaults that happened inside New Orleans and outside the city, for instance, in host homes.

Another group, Witness Justice, a Maryland-based non-profit that assists victims of violent crimes, claims to have received 156 reports of post-Katrina violent crimes; about a third of those involved sexual assaults.

One of the victims is Ms. Lewis, a 46-year-old home health-care worker from New Orleans East, who asked that her first name not be used. She sits on the edge of a bed in a dingy, dimly lit room in a motel in Baton Rouge.

Lewis says she was raped on Monday, Aug. 29, the day of the storm. The account of her rape was verified by a trained forensic nurse at Earl K. Long Hospital in Baton Rouge, where Lewis sought treatment.

Lewis and others had taken refuge in the Redemption Elderly Apartments, in the Irish Channel section of New Orleans. On that first night after the storm, the city had lost power, and she was sleeping in a dark hallway, trying to catch a breeze. It was there, she says, that an unknown man with a handgun sexually assaulted her. She insists other women were raped in the same apartment building over the next four nights, but her claim could not be checked out.

"Some bad things happened, you know. There was nobody there to protect you," Lewis says.

Recalling her attack, she sobs, "They just left us to die. Nobody cared."

After her rape, Lewis says, there were no clinics open, so she washed herself with bleach. "All I could do was pray, pray for rescue, pray that I didn't have any type of transmitted disease," she says.

Lewis says that later in the week, national guardsmen forced evacuees out of the building at gunpoint. They were finally able to leave the city on Saturday. She says she tried to report the assault at the time, but authorities weren't listening.

"The police was stressed out themselves," Lewis says. "They didn't have no food. They didn't have water. They didn't have communication. They didn't have ammunition. The National Guards didn't want to hear it."

So, this was a perfect environment to commit a crime, with overstressed, past the breaking point police force and the National Guard, who are army and not the police, refusing to do the police work.

The only explanation for this callousness by the National Guard would be if they were in a combat situation, and, of course, that did not happen on American soil.

Anastasia is a petite, 25-year-old hairdresser who asked that her last name be omitted. She contacted the New Orleans police in October and filed a report that she was beaten with a bat and raped on Sept. 6th in broad daylight next to a flooded McDonald's at Gentilly Boulevard and Elysian Fields, near her father's house.

Anastasia says thugs were still wandering the streets of her neighborhood more than a week after the flood. "I didn't see any police officers — I could have gotten away with murder," she says. "It was that terrible. So I can assume what the criminals were thinking, and that's exactly what happened."

So where was the police, again?

Many of them deserted, or, in nicer terms, "walked off" the job.

Lets go back to the official shelter location from Katrina, the Superdome.

Some more of that pesky foreign press, this time, the BBC, Britons describe hurricane ordeal, from 6 September 2005:

Britons returning from New Orleans have described the horrifying conditions there.

They were among the thousands forced to seek refuge from the floods that engulfed the city following Hurricane Katrina.

Student Michelle Andrews, 20, said she had been sheltering on the 17th floor of a New Orleans hotel when Katrina hit.

"We just lay down in the corridors as these thick white clouds just closed in on us. It was Hell."

But after the hurricane passed, the hotel asked Ms Andrews, from south Wales, and the friends she was travelling with to leave.

"We went to a convention centre where the National Guard was based - but they just turned us away and said we would have to fend for ourselves."

The group ended up sleeping rough on a 30ft-high covered walkway before being found by an Australian television crew and rescued.

"Every day we woke to more dead bodies and people with guns. There was polluted water everywhere and the smell was awful. And there was no electricity. It was so dark."

Obviously this is an excerpt from Somalia, or Iraq, not a first world country.

It must be that this lady from Britain was panicked and really could not distinguish what was happening around her, what with her report of people with guns which were widely discounted as untrue in the reputable media.

Nurse Teresa Cherrie, 42, and her partner lorry driver John Drysdale, 41, said they had flown to the US on 27 August, after their travel company told them the "tropical storm" would only last a day.

"We never had any idea of what we were getting into. We got told to go ahead and enjoy our holiday," Mr Drysdale said.

The couple, from Renfrew in Scotland, fled from New Orleans to Baton Rouge, where they were forced to scavenge for food, while hiding from armed gangs.

"We were getting followed about... they were saying, 'They've got water, they've got water'," Mr Drysdale said.

Ms Cherrie said they would send a cheque to reimburse a store they had looted.

"We only took some water and we took some food and some tins and a carton of cigarettes."

And there you have it - the truth about looting.

You see, it was the (white) British citizens who were doing it.

And to top it off, this horrible woman makes a slanderous accusation towards America, as if armed gangs were stalking her, and she and her companion were hiding from them fearing for her life.

This is a Mad Max movie scene, not reality, miss!

Obviously this lady needs to be arrested and brought to justice.

Jenny Sachs, of Sheffield, told how soldiers had to smuggle her out of the Superdome in secret.

She was one of about 30 Britons who, realising they could not escape the city, had fled to the stadium for shelter.

"It has hit me more now I am at home, when you can have clean water, how bad it was," she said.

She said people had been raped and that others were beaten up.

"A guy was brought in who had seven stab wounds and was covered in blood."

The military told all non-US citizens to stay together for safety, Ms Sachs added.

They later told them they would be secretly smuggled out in groups of 10 under cover of darkness as it had become too dangerous for them to remain in the stadium, she told BBC News.

"When we were leaving, people were going 'Where are you going?' and giving us looks.

"But the military got us out, which we were all thankful for."

From this story, this woman is claiming that she personally saw a stabbing victim and (again we hear) the made up claims of rape.

There were only 4 rapes, if that!

The reports of violence were greatly exaggerated!

Isn't it obvious by now?

And worse, these (white) foreign citizens were evacuated, while the (black) American citizens were left in the Superdome [actually this does make me mad, this was a preferential treatment of foreign nationals over (black) American citizens -AG, keeping it real].

And, what's even worse, she claimed that, "The military told all non-US citizens to stay together for safety," as if she and her foreign compadres were in any danger from the American (black) citizens swarming around them.

Radio Merseyside presenter Mike Brocken, from Chester, was on holiday in New Orleans with his wife and teenage daughter when the hurricane hit.

"We were going to go inside the Superdome. I approached two members of the National Guard and they said to stay outside because they knew it was hell in there."

Mr Brocken said members of the National Guard took him and his family "under their wing" and saw that they were placed in the baseball stadium.

"Everyone talks about the National Guard in rather derogatory ways historically, but I've got to say that but for them, and one man in particular, I may well have lost my family."

[Again, lets call a spade a spade - a preferential treatment for white people over the, lets face it, less than savory but American citizens black people -AG].

Jamie Trout, 22, of Sunderland, told BBC News the five "horrific" days he and his two female friends had spent in the Superdome, before being freed by the US National Guard, had been "like something out of Lord of the Flies".

"It was very dangerous - rioting, looting of vending machines, racial abuse, absolutely terrible sanitary conditions."

They had been "intimidated by large groups of men" and, Mr Trout added, he had feared he would be killed.

The group had heard a child had been raped and found in the toilets with a broken neck, Mr Trout told BBC News.

"That was a really hard time. It made us all feel sick.

"The girls were terrified to go to the toilet."

The group had called the British embassy in Washington from a mobile phone, Mr Trout added.

But embassy staff had told them to contact the British consulate in New Orleans

When they had pointed out it was "15ft under water", the embassy staff had simply repeated they should contact the consulate, Mr Trout told BBC News.

"That was obviously very difficult to take."

Nice to see that the British government was as helpful as the American one.

Will Nelson, 21, who spent five days in the stadium where up to 30,000 people took shelter from rising flood-water, described the situation as "chaos".

The Loughborough University graduate, who had been travelling in the US after working in Camp America, said: "There were mothers with their children lying in corridors in filth and the toilets and water stopped working.

"The smell was disgusting and there were old people just sitting down in the road as well as the sick."

Foreign travellers in the Superdome had herded together for safety, after warnings from US air force personnel.

"There were 40 or 50 of us. The lads were on the outside and the girls were on the inside and we just made sure that we didn't leave any of our bags."

Mass hysteria, is what it was.

Remember, officially only very few rapes and violent incidents and very few shootings occurred.

Peter Henry, 20, who had also been in New Orleans after working in Camp America, also described appalling conditions.

"I saw between 50 and 100 people fighting over a bottle of Coca Cola.

Former Royal Marine Darryl Hill - originally from Amersham, Buckinghamshire - runs a hotel in New Orleans.

"This far outweighs anything I saw when I was with the British forces in various hostile areas," he told BBC Radio 4's PM.

"The lack of support we've had, the lack of supplies flown in ... now they are starting to arrive, but it has taken over a week. I think there should have been a much quicker response from the hierarchy."

Mr Hill said some of what he had seen was "so raw and heart-touching it is hard to describe and hard to live with".

"I saw a young lady, she had just given birth and she had to carry her new-born over her head.

"The water was up to her breasts and she was just walking through the water, crying for help."

Remember - all these people were in shock, and exaggerating - telling tall tales.

According to official articles which are easily found on the web, there were only 4 rapes in the Superdome, and, well, lets quote the official story in full again:

In the Superdome for example, the New Orleans sex crimes unit investigated every report of rape or atrocity and found only two verifiable incidents, both of sexual assault. The department head told reporters, "I think it was urban myth. Any time you put 25,000 people under one roof, with no running water, no electricity and no information, stories get told." Government expected hundreds of dead to be found in the Superdome, but instead found only 6 dead (of which there were 4 natural deaths, one drug overdose and one suicide)

So where are the stories that tell a different, shall we say, unofficial story?

I found a mention of this article on another site, The New Orleans Saints Message Board, also.

But, I could not find this news article anywhere on the web - the Times/Picuyune article simply does not exist.

And, since it does not exist, this did not occur and the only thing we have is the official, government version of events.

So what exactly did not occur, as it was written in an article which does not exist?

Inside, the Dome’s 1.8 million square feet looks trashed. Its floors, concourses, ramps, meeting rooms, offices and restrooms are littered with debris and refuse from the evacuees who endured hellish living conditions in the building for as many as five days after the storm.

The floor and Momentum Turf playing field have been transformed into a mushy lake of inch-deep black water. The fetid soup coated a sea of trash and spoiled food. The bathrooms on the 200 level overflow with human feces and urine. In one men’s room, the human waste spilled out of the entrance and into the concourse. Blood stains several walls. Stagnant for days in the still air, the water, spoiled food and human excrement will require decontamination and will be removed by professionals.

“You could put a petri dish in here and just see what grows,” one technician said. “The flies are telling you there’s a biohazard.”

Officials said at least 10 to 12 people died in the Dome, including a man who jumped or was pushed 50 feet to his death from one of the pedestrian walkways. A military police officer also was shot in the leg during an assault.

Sgt. Tony Small, a major crimes cold-case investigator for the New Orleans Police Department who was in the unit assigned to the Superdome, said at least four rapes occurred in the Dome, and the victims included a 2-year-old girl.

See, that 2 year girl victim was a hoax, a tall tale, it did not happen.

The man who jumped, trying to feel a gang of thugs, was obviously suicidal and classified as such.

The military police soldier obviously clumsily shot himself...

And no arrests means that these crimes did not occur.

And when the people do not report rapes and assaults against themselves to the New Orleans police department, the department with such stellar reputation for honesty and integrity, well, that means that such assaults and rapes did not occur.

So the official government story is the only story.

End of story.

And now we move to the combat operations which occurred in New Orleans in 2005.

Any doubts about what was happening in New Orleans in 2005?

Lets delve in.

NEW ORLEANS - Combat operations are underway on the streets "to take this city back" in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

"This place is going to look like Little Somalia," Brig. Gen. Gary Jones, commander of the Louisiana National Guard's Joint Task Force told Army Times Friday as hundreds of armed troops under his charge prepared to launch a massive citywide security mission from a staging area outside the Louisiana Superdome. "We're going to go out and take this city back. This will be a combat operation to get this city under control."

This was an invasion, then a cordon of specific blocs/areas of the city, making them safe, and moving on to the next area doing the same thing, until all of the city would be safe.

The technical term from the past colonial times is PACIFICATION.

The same style of combat operations which occurred in Iraq.

Jones said the military first needs to establish security throughout the city. Military and police officials have said there are several large areas of the city are in a full state of anarchy.

Exactly what I said - an ink spot technique, invented by Resident General Hubert Lyautey in Algeria as the French tried to colonize and rule over the country.

It involved securing one area permanently (with some very rough methods, including shooting farm animals, burning houses, and last resort killing off the tribesmen) and then, once an area was "pacified", moving on to the next "trouble" area, leaving a small garrison in a pacified area.

For history buffs, here is an article describing this strategy.

I never thought that this technique would be used in an American city, nor that it would be American troops doing pacification operations on American soil.

The force gets ready:

Dozens of military trucks and up-armored Humvees left the staging area just after 11 a.m. Friday, while hundreds more troops arrived at the same staging area in the city via Black Hawk and Chinook helicopters.

"We're here to do whatever they need us to do," Sgt. 1st Class Ron Dixon, of the Oklahoma National Guard's 1345th Transportation Company. "We packed to stay as long as it takes."

While some fight the insurgency in the city, other carry on with rescue and evacuation operations. Helicopters are still pulling hundreds of stranded people from rooftops of flooded homes.

Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and police helicopters filled the city sky Friday morning. Most had armed soldiers manning the doors. According to Petty Officer 3rd Class Jeremy Grishamn, a spokesman for the amphibious assault ship Bataan, the vessel kept its helicopters at sea Thursday night after several military helicopters reported being shot at from the ground.

Numerous soldiers also told Army Times that they have been shot at by armed civilians in New Orleans. Spokesmen for the Joint Task Force Headquarters at the Superdome were unaware of any servicemen being wounded in the streets, although one soldier is recovering from a gunshot wound sustained during a struggle with a civilian in the dome Wednesday night.

Make no mistake, this was a combat (war) situation on American soil, with American troops doing pacification, colonial style, on an American city, resisted by local tribal militia (or, if you would rather, gangs) armed with AK-47's and other guns.

Of course, the reality is that this never happened, and that all these soldiers were victims of stress and perhaps post traumatic stress disorder, as some of them came from Iraq and/or Afghanistan.

Perhaps they mistook the now famous gas tank popping noise for gunshots!

Then again, as veterans of foreign wars, these people know EXACTLY what gunshots sound like and when they are being shot at, so I recommend for the spin we go with the stress.

Or, better yet, simply ignore this article in the mainstream media.

"I never thought that at a National Guardsman I would be shot at by other Americans," said Spc. Philip Baccus of the 527th Engineer Battalion. "And I never thought I'd have to carry a rifle when on a hurricane relief mission. This is a disgrace."

Well, it would be extremely difficult to spin this in the media, try as I might.

Best to ignore this...

Spc. Cliff Ferguson of the 527th Engineer Battalion pointed out that he knows there are plenty of decent people in New Orleans, but he said it is hard to stay motivated considering the circumstances.

"This is making a lot of us think about not reenlisting." Ferguson said. "You have to think about whether it is worth risking your neck for someone who will turn around and shoot at you. We didn't come here to fight a war. We came here to help."

This is exactly what occurred in Somalia during the humanitarian intervention.

For a close approximation of what occurred in New Orleans, perhaps watching the movie "Blackhawk down" is in order?

Too much of a stretch?

Or perhaps too close to home, with the American troops looking with disdain at the ~~blacks~~ skinnies, doing pacification missions in an urban area, taking fire from every direction?

State Fair melees produce 11 injuries, 31 arrests

Then around the closing time of 11 p.m., witnesses told the Journal Sentinel, dozens to hundreds of black youths attacked white people as they left the fair, punching and kicking people and shaking and pounding on their vehicles.

Witnesses, though, told the Journal Sentinel that the attacks appeared to be unprovoked and racially motivated.

"You could just tell they were after white people. That was the main thing. If you were white, they were coming after you," said Jon Stikl of Oak Creek.

He said he was stuck in traffic as a group of young people blocked cars near the fair gate on S. 84th St. near I-94 after he picked up family members attending the fair.

"We noticed a group of five to 10 young black males run up and jump a young white male for no other reason then him being white," Stikl said.

They knocked him to the ground, and then a group of 15 black men kicked and stomped on him, Stikl said.

"My wife's brother jumped out of the car - his natural reaction was to try to break it up. Before you knew it, five or 10 guys were on him and started punching at him. My wife was able to pull him back in the car. So now they surrounded my car and just started punching through the windows, kicking and shaking the car, screaming racial things."

He said there should have been more police presence, given that disturbances were reported inside the fairgrounds shortly after 7 p.m. Thursday.

"I was disgusted by the lack of security. It's a black eye on the State Fair" and police, he said.

Andrew J. Coleman, a recent University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee graduate, said he and a friend were attacked about 10:30 p.m. after they left the fair through the gate off S. 84th near the Pettit National Ice Center.

"I just heard footsteps behind me and I turned around and I got hit in the face. There were six or seven just beating on me," said Coleman, who has a sore jaw from the punches.

His friend was stomped on and his sneakers stolen, said Coleman, of Milwaukee.

A concession worker who works near the midway area told the Journal Sentinel that earlier Thursday night, large groups of African-American youths ran through the midway, knocking over young children and adults, disrupting midway amusement rides and tearing signs up. The midway is east of the Pettit National Ice Center and adjacent to the Hank Aaron State Trail.

"I have never seen anything like it," the worker said. "It was mob mentality."

The worker said there was police presence, including officers on horseback, but it was not enough.

A 34-year-old Muskego man said he was riding on the Ferris wheel in the midway with one of his children when he heard shouts of "fight" sometime after 7 p.m. He saw a big group of people, perhaps 200 to 300, gathered around a brawl.

"I've never seen anything like this in my life. . . . There were so many people you couldn't see who was fighting. There was just this big group that kept growing and chanting, 'Fight, fight, fight,' " he said. "That lasted for one to two minutes. Then when security showed up blowing some whistles, all of this mob started running. It was like a herd of cattle."

Witnesses describe mobs, some people claim racially-charged attacks

Witnesses tell Newsradio 620 WTMJ and TODAY'S TMJ4 of a mob of young people attacking innocent fair-goers at the end of the opening night of State Fair, with some callers claiming a racially-charged scene.

Milwaukee Police confirmed there were assaults outside the fair.

"It looked like they were just going after white guys, white people," said Norb Roffers of Wind Lake in an interview with Newsradio 620 WTMJ. He left the State Fair Entrance near the corner of South 84th Street and West Schlinger Avenue in West Allis.

"They were attacking everybody for no reason whatsoever."

"It was 100% racial," claimed Eric, an Iraq war veteran from St. Francis who says young people beat on his car.

"I had a black couple on my right side, and these black kids were running in between all the cars, and they were pounding on my doors and trying to open up doors on my car, and they didn't do one thing to this black couple that was in this car next to us. They just kept walking right past their car. They were looking in everybody's windshield as they were running by, seeing who was white and who was black. Guarantee it."

Another witness, who asked to remain anonymous, said, "it was like a scene you needed the National Guard to control."

"To me, it looked like a scene out of a movie," claimed the anonymous witness.

"I have not seen anything like this in my life. It was a huge mob, and it was a fight that maybe lasted one to two minutes."

Roffers claimed that as he left the state fair with his wife, crowds near that entrance were large, and someone in that crowd .

"As we got closer to the street, we looked up the road, and we saw a quite a bit of commotion going on and there was a guy laying in the road, and nobody was even laying there. He wasn't even moving. Finally a car pulled up. They stopped right next to the guy, and it looked like someone was going to help him. We were kind of stuck, because we couldn't cross. Traffic was going through. Young black men running around, beating on people, and we were like 'Let's get the heck out of here.' The light turned, and I got attacked from behind. I just got hit in the back of the head real hard. I'm like, 'What the heck is going on here?' I heard my bell ring."

One woman told police that she was sitting in her car with a window down when some teenagers reached through her window and started attacking her.

Eric, who asked Newsradio 620 WTMJ not to use his last name, talked about the incidents that happened as he, his wife and a neighbor left the fair Thursday.

"We exited at the Schlinger and 84th exit, and we walked south about a block, and then went up and got our car, came back up and around down Schlinger. When we made a left hand turn, we were stopped in traffic. I looked toward the bridge, right before you get on the freeway, and all I saw was a road full of black kids, jumping over people's cars, jumping on people's hoods, running over the top of them."

Eric then claimed that he saw hundreds of young black people coming down a sidewalk.

"I saw them grab this white kid who was probably 14 or 15 years old. They just flung him into the road. They just jumped on him and started beating him. They were kicking him. He was on the ground. A girl picked up a construction sign and pushed it over on top of him. They were just running by and kicking him in the face."

Goddamit.

Welcome to Zimbabwe.

Then, Eric talked about trying to get out of the car to help the victim.

"My wife pulled me back in because she didn't want me to get hit. Thankfully, there was surprising a lady that was in the car in front of me that jumped out of the car real quick and went over there to try to put her body around the kid so they couldn't see he was laying there and, obviously, defenseless. Her husband, or whoever was in the car, was screaming at her to get back into the car. She ended up going back into the car. These black kids grabbed this kid off the ground again, and pulled him up over the curb, onto the sidewalk and threw him into the bushes like he was a piece of garbage."

Eric claimed that the victim in that beating was by himself, and that there was a split of white people on one sidewalk and black people on the other.

There was nobody else around to help him. There were no other white people, period, on that side of the street. They were going in the opposite direction because, those people who were coming out of the fair that saw these people coming, they either went back into the fair or took off running south on 84th Street."

Eric expressed anger at the State Fair Police for what he considered a lack of response.

"The thing that irritated me, the State Fair Police, the State Police, were down by the Pettit entrance to get in there," said Eric. "There was probably 5 or 6 officers down there. That's where all these kids came from. They came out of the Midway, across the front of the Pettit. They were still filing out of there. The State Fair Police, they knew this was going on. They knew these kids were beating these guys in between that exit and Schlinger at the next gate."

"They were stopping traffic, and I said 'What in the hell,' excuse my language, 'what are you guys doing directing traffic when there are 300, 400 black kids up the road beating the hell out of everybody, pushing people off of motorcycles?' I was livid. I could not believe they were directing traffic."

A witness told WTMJ that as he worked in a kiosk at the State Fair Midway, he saw what he described as "a Riverwest type mob. Easily between 50 - 100 kids all under 18 and all African American. They were running around knocking people over (young kids and adults), looting the Midway games (stealing the prizes), starting fights."

She described what she saw as she left the fair.

"As we came through the exit we saw a white boy lying in the street, in the fetal position right by the traffic light, and coming towards us was tons and tons and black teens – there had to have been over a hundred – in the middle of 84th Street and on the sidewalk headed south," she said.

You are all familiar with the scum, Anders Behring Breivik, who (it appears singlehandedly) killed 76 people, including children attending a political youth camp for ages 15 and up.

What are his views?

Breivik's final Facebook entry was a massive 1,516-page document and a link to a video on YouTube. He created the manifesto and the video long before the attacks in order to control what would be said about him in the media after he committed his slaughter and was free to post no more.

The document, 2083: A European Declaration of Independence, is something of a template for right-wing terrorism, a rambling manifesto that at times rails at "cultural Marxists" and "multiculturalism" and blames them for the destruction of Western culture. Elsewhere he offers detailed instructions on Web-based self-publishing, comments on his TV habits and provides tips for building a successful terrorist cell. With the exception of some highly personal descriptions of growing up and his pain over the divorce of his parents, the document is eerily reminiscent of the jihadist instruction manuals that have been widely distributed over the Internet since the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

"It is a complete mirroring of al-Qaeda, a cut-and-paste image of a jihadist manifesto," Magnus Ranstorp, a terrorism expert at the Swedish National Defense College, tells TIME.com.

This is fascinating, at least to me.

This man is against multiculturalism and "cultural Marxists", which is a not so secret code word for being against immigration of Arabs and Africans into Europe.

In another question, Breivik asks how he would describe his ideology; he says he is part of an indigenous-rights movement whose ideology is cultural conservatism. "I am very proud of my Viking heritage. My name, Breivik, is a place name from Northern Norway, dating back to before the Viking era," he wrote.

The secret society Breivik describes aims to re-create the Knights Templar. Known by their trademark white mantles bearing a red cross, the Knights Templar were skilled fighters during the Crusades who wielded enormous political and economic influence during the Middle Ages. Breivik wrote that there was a secret meeting in London in April 2002 to rebuild the order and that nine people representing eight European countries attended.

Maybe all that happened — or maybe it didn't. "It could all be in his head," Thomas Hegghammer, a terrorism expert at the Norwegian Defense Research Establishment, tells TIME.com. "The document mirrors al-Qaeda ideology in a few important ways. The principal aim is to expel Muslims from Europe, just as al-Qaeda wants to expel Westerners from the holy lands."

He is delusional.

A nutcase.

Think about it - he is proclaiming to be against immigrants; in fact, he hates them so much that he is willing to kill.

To commit unspeakable, mass murder.

And which immigrant area did he choose to plant his bomb in?

What Arabic ghetto did he go on his rampage in?

Strangely enough, this "Europe first", lets face it, racist, blew up a government building in Oslo and then went on a rampage on an very small island on which was held a political (ruling left wing party) meet up for youths and young adults.

All white.

This man is clearly a nutter, a delusional, highly dangerous idiot who can't add 2+2 together.

After all, after proclaiming his hatred of immigrants, he kills, in incredible numbers... his fellow Norwegians.

Strange.

Another thing - manufacturing a bomb of that force, adding in a timer and a detonator is not that easy.

Remember - when the bomb detonated, he was not nearby - he was ready to start shooting children on Utoya island.

That is a lot of mayhem for an untrained amateur acting alone, with no training, no contacts, no support, no contacts in the shady world of terrorism and/or arms merchants.

Strange.

And now, after this mass murder, after this appalling act of senseless (yes, incredibly senseless) slaughter of completely innocent, ordinary people going about their business...

NOW the police of Europe will take even a closer look at the "extremists", such as the Geert Wilders Freedom party in Netherlands for one.

He is making a (to me) valid point that perhaps having a moslem population close to the 20% mark is not such a good thing for the rest of the very liberal, freedom loving Dutch citizens.

Germany has the National Democratic Party, a very fringe group which is busy protesting Holocaust day of all things (yep, a real, honest to goodness nazis... sigh).

In fact, each country has a pro Europe party, which sometimes, unfortunately, stinks of swastikas and bald heads and, shall we say, not too intellectual demeanor.

But organizations like the one in the Netherlands are the second wave - they are NOT linked to the extremist idiots who read "Mein Kampf" and give each other the nazi salute.

They are led by normal, every day people - for example, Pim Fortuyn:

Though tolerant of such subcultures, Fortuyn's targeted a deep vein of suspicion of immigrants.

He said: "I'm not anti-Muslim. I'm not anti-immigrant. I'm saying we've got big problems in our cities.

"It's not very smart to make the problems bigger by letting in millions more immigrants from rural Muslim cultures that don't assimilate. This country is bursting. I think 16 million people is quite enough."

The Dutch right-wing politician Pim Fortuyn has been shot dead.

Fortuyn, 54, was attacked as he left a radio studio in the central Dutch city of Hilversum. He was shot six times and suffered multiple wounds in the head, chest and neck, and died shortly afterwards.

Police said they had arrested a white Dutch man in relation to the killing, but no motive has yet been established.

Yes, the assassin was a white Dutchman, not an Islamic immigrant.

Strange.

Anyway, anyhoo...

He was killed off, but the right in the Netherlands did not die off - they thrived.

An opinion poll suggesting far-right leader Marine Le Pen could win the first round of next year's presidential election has caused a shock in France.

The survey for Le Parisien newspaper puts the National Front leader, who took over from her father Jean-Marie in January, ahead of all other candidates.

It gives her 23%, two percentage points ahead of both President Nicolas Sarkozy and Socialist leader Martine Aubry.

However, some analysts question the accuracy of the online poll.

Online surveys are arguably less reliable than telephone polling, and Le Parisien's poll assumes Ms Aubry will be chosen as the Socialists' candidate, while the party has yet to decide.

Jean-Marie Le Pen was the shock runner-up in the first round of the 2002 election, only to be massively defeated in the second against Jacques Chirac.

Notice that there isn't one country where there is a majority support for immigration.

Except for... South Korea, which I assume is looking forward to North Korean defections (perhaps). We will skip Palestinian territories - no explanation necessary.

But otherwise, you see 70% plus respondents being in favor of restricting immigration.

It is across the board - Asians, Africans, Europeans - DO NOT WANT immigration.

Or at least the current, mass, globalized version of it with movements of groups of peoples larger than during the times of Barbarian invasions of the Roman Empire.

No wonder there are political parties and organizations sprouting up all over Europe contesting the PC view of "immgrations is good" mantra.

In France, in the Netherlands, these were gaining momentum, poised to make (yet again) big gains in the polls, winning local and national elections.

This momentum is fully stopped.

This Norwegian nutcase, acting alone, acting against immigrants and for Norway and Norwegians by killing... Norwegians, has put a stop to that.

Now Europeans organizing in not far right, but centre right organizations will be hounded.

On NPR, American public radio, there was as Norwegian who called for (am paraphrasing) "an end to hate - and also they must understand that immigrants do not make Norway worse, if anything, they make it better".

Anybody in an official position who will dare to question the globalization steamroller will be dealt with in the press, TV, blogs - total media assault.

A European criticizing immigrants or immigration will be, no ifs and buts about it, called a "nutcase", "racist", and, you guessed it, compared to and tarnished with the example of the nutter, Mr. Anders Behring Breivik.

This second wave of pro Europe politicians, at pains to distance themselves from the nutty, fringe far, far right bold headed retards, has just been dealt a crushing, crushing defeat.

Absolutely no criticism of globalization, of mass immigration, of changing the European culture into some sort of a globalized third world village, will be tolerated nor allowed.

About a decade ago I went to visit London and Paris.

This was in the days when one did not have to be sexually assaulted to board a plane... so long ago, a different era.

London was extremely cosmopolitan, with different kinds of people, all kinds of cultures, mixing together.

Interestingly, the same problems abound - I am sure Unamusement Park and SBPDL will not be surprised; Notting Hill Carnival hailed a success as crime falls, BBC, August 2010:

Figures from the Metropolitan Police showed 230 people were arrested, but reported crime fell by 31% compared with last year.

More than one million people attended the three-day street festival in west London, police said.

The festival was a success, because the British police learned from the 2008 festival; again, not a surprise to learn the same pattern of "yoof" behaviour,

During the night, loud African drums were being played next to the Eiffel Tower (close to the Trocadero).

Hundreds of people around, no police, no one did a thing.

Wait, the guy was too pasty for being an Arab...

I saw a woman whose face was covered in blood, crying to a gendarme about being mugged.

The gendarme could not give less of a shit to her.

This was a normal, everyday night in Paris.

During daytime, moslem men praying in a side street, completely blocking it...

I met a Moroccan girl, whom I talked to a lot about Paris and France.

She clued me in - no go areas for white boys (like me), she does not go out during the evening or night - too dangerous for a woman, especially a MOSLEM WOMAN.

All in all, a very interesting trip.... an eye opening trip.

This was not Europe where Europeans lived and worked - this was... something else.

And who exactly is promoting this multi-culturalist attack upon Europe?

What's more, the public has been told for two decades now that they ain't seen nothing yet, that this is only the first wave of a long era of immigration, which they'd better learn to love. The immigrants the country now hosts have been difficult to manage. Part of the problem is the interaction of high immigration and what was for years a generous, no-questions-asked welfare state: As many as 60 percent of Moroccans and Turks above the age of 40--obviously first-generation immigrants--are unemployed, in the only major economy in Europe that has consistently had unemployment at or below American rates.

So, they come to Europe, which has a fantastic, generous socialist welfare state system (I am a left wing, socialist, and I ADMIRE the European version of socialist and capitalism mix, which is now being DESTROYED by - you guessed it - immigration).

They come to Europe and... don't integrate, cannot find work, get radicalized...

This will end well, n'est ce pas?

Most of these immigrants are Muslims. Muslim immigrants had begun to scare people long before Pim Fortuyn, the charismatic populist, turned himself into the country's most popular politician in the space of a few weeks in 2002, by arguing that the country was already overloaded with newcomers. (Fortuyn was assassinated by an animal-rights activist in May of that year.) Already in the 1990s, there were reports of American-style shootouts in schools, one involving two Turkish students in the town of Veghel. This past October, newspaper readers were riveted by the running saga of a quiet married couple who had been hounded out of the previously livable Amsterdam neighborhood of Diamantbuurt by gangs of Muslim youths. There were incidents of wild rejoicing across Holland in the wake of the September 11 attacks, notably in the eastern city of Ede. The weekly magazine Contrast took a poll showing that just under half the Muslims in the Netherlands were in "complete sympathy" with the September 11 attacks.

I predict a brilliant future for Holland and the rest of Europe.

The question naturally arises: If immigrants behave this way now, what will happen when they are far more numerous, as all authorities have long promised they will be? It has been estimated that the country's two largest cities, Amsterdam and Rotterdam, will be "majority minority" very soon (Rotterdam is today at 47 percent), and already 65 percent of primary and secondary students in both cities are of non-Dutch parentage.

Rotterdam: Immigrant groups overrepresented in crime

Of the Moroccan-Dutch boys in Rotterdam aged 18 to 24, almost 55% have gotten in trouble with the police on suspicion of offenses. For Antilleans and Surinamese that's 40%, for Turkish-Dutch men 36% and for ethnic Dutch Rotterdam residents 18.4%.

Frank Bovenkerk presented these 'absolutely frightful numbers' on Wednesday during his departure speech as professor of criminology at the University of Utrecht. Until now the link between crime and immigrant groups was measured in a standard way, and Bovenkerk says that the data then looks better.

According to the criminologist, for years crimes were counted up wrong. By linking the police files and the data from Statistics Netherlands (CBS) suspects from the first and second generation immigrant groups could be brought into the picture. This shows indeed that Antilleans, Moroccans, Surinamese and Turkish-Dutch are overrepresented in the crime statistics.

Quick show of hands - who here is surprised by this?

I, for one, am shocked, SHOCKED at these statistics because according to WORLDWIDE campaign for globalization, immigration and political correctness, immigration (from Turkey, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Mexico, Guatemala, Mars) is always, ALWAYS a good thing.

I think this is the strangest story about law enforcement I have ever read.

This is from NYTimes, from 2005:

JONESBORO, Ga., Jan. 4 (AP) - On his first day at work, the new sheriff of Clayton County called 27 employees into his office on Monday, fired them and had snipers stand guard on the roof as they were escorted out the door.

A judge on Tuesday ordered him to rehire the employees.

The sheriff, Victor Hill, 39, defended the firings and said he had the right to shake up the department in whatever way he felt necessary.

Sheriff Hill also said it was necessary to fire the workers the way he did, including taking some deputies home in vans normally used to transport prisoners because the deputies were barred from using county cars.

Sheriff Hill was among a spate of black candidates elected last year in the county, which was once dominated by rural whites. The fired employees included four of the highest-ranking officers, all of them white. Sheriff Hill told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that their replacements would be black.

The new black sheriff had snipers on roofs and transported the just fired (white) workers in prisoner transport vans.

This... this...

After discussing endlessly at work Chicago's baseball teams, it slowly downed on me that something just did not add up.

We have two baseball teams in Chicago - the White Sox and Cubs.

The White Sox are a very successful franchise, with a recently won World Championship (as a European I have to laugh a bit at that grandiose title), top players and usually a winning record.

On the other hand we have the Cubs - probably the sorriest bunch of pro athletes ever assembled, year in, year out. They usually have a losing or .500 record (indulge me - am not a baseball fan), almost never get into the playoffs and are generally considered a joke (rightfully so).

But they are beloved by everybody I have come in contact with.

Which is very strange, as there is a saying which I find a truism in this country: "Americans love a winner!".

Witness the Blackhawks (Chicago hockey team) who won the Stanley Cup in the 2010-11 season.

I have never seen so many caps, shirts, stickers on cars with the Blackhawks colors and logo.

Everybody was a fan.

It got a bit... ridiculous.

On a local radio station (B96 - don't hate), two DJ's were having a quiz "Are you a real Blackhawk fan?".

A caller, an obviously confused latina, was asked on air the question "Who is the head coach of our beloved Chicago Blackhawks?", to which there came the predictable answer of "Uhmmmmmm...".

Americans love a winner.

So what gives then in the baseball loyalties?

Is it geographical?

Cubs are from the northside, the Sox from the South.

But people coming to work from Wisconsin, from other states just loooooove the Cubs, while there is nary a word spoken about the much better White Sox.

The Stadium is better?

The White Sox is a montstrosity, the Cubbies stadium a much more homely, friendly feel affair - perhaps that's it?

But I felt it didn't add up... Until I listened, REALLY listened to what people were saying.

"I took my elderly dad to the Cubbies, we had a great time!".

"I took my whole family to the ball park, it was great. Expensive though, but we had a blast!"

"Did they win?"

"Of course not!" (laughter).

North side and South side...

Traditionally the south side is always considered a black area, and rightfully so.

While the recently (well, relatively) White Sox stadium is super modern and safe, the area around it is noticeably less so.

It can be OK in the daytime, but I would not recommend anyone to stay there past 9PM, at least of my hue.

There are not really many places to hang out after a game.

On the other hand, a Cubs game is an excuse for hordes of chubby men and women wearing loose fitting Cubs shirts and baseball caps, to walk from beer garden to beer garden, to pour in their thousands onto the streets around the stadium.

They are obnoxious, they are smelling of beer, they are lazily walking around, they are flirting, smiling, peeing on people's lawns (eeeeew) and, well... being obnoxious.

They are also pretty much ALL white.

All of them.

Go ahead, check it out yourself.

Prove me wrong.

Go to a Cubs game, stick around after 10PM soak in the atmosphere.

Then go to a White Sox Game, stick around till after 10PM, soak in the... bullets...

Then it hit me - this is about safety.

No matter what convoluted logic is used, when you get down to it:

"I took my elderly dad to the Cubbies, we had a great time!".

"I took my whole family to the ball park, it was great. Expensive though, but we had a blast!"

It is about safety.

And safety, in America, means not going into a predominantly black (or latino) neighborhood.

Check that - I personally feel safer in a Puerto Rican hood than in a black hood.

Personal preference.

Moving right along...

Nothing opened my eyes to how central the question of race was to Americans as this (admittedly silly) Cubs vs White Sox issue.

Then, once I realized that, it hit me.

EVERYTHING in this country is about race.

Not just one thing, or one aspect of our lives - literally EVERYTHING.

I tried to pick an area of our lives that our race awareness had nothing to do with.

I keep failing.

Choice of where you go to your sports?

Covered this of course in the beginning of this piece, but answer yourself this question - if you are white, do you follow the NBA? If you are black, do you follow the NBA? Asian, Latino, Samoan?

One of the most important decisions for a family with kids is where to live.

That decision is influenced by what main factor, exactly?

We ALL know this.

Come on, don't be shy - this is you thinking for yourself, not saying anything,

You want to feel safe, and you want your kids to be safe and have the best school possible that your tax money can buy.

Having said that, where do you want to live - an all white neighborhood, a mixed neighborhood with asians and whites, a mixed neighborhood of whites, latinos and blacks, an all latino neighborhood, an all black neighborghood?

If money was no option?

Answer this for yourself, without telling anybody, if you are White.

Black.

Latino.

Asian.

Samoan...

Bit of a hard choice? Some of these sound OK, you would have no qualms with the majority of neighborhoods?

Now ask yourself, in your innermost secret thoughts (shhhhh! thinking in America can be daaaaangerous!) this question: what neighborhood would you NOT want to live in if you had a wife and a kid(s)?

Answer this for yourself, without telling anybody, if you are White.

Black.

Latino.

Asian.

Tongan...

Personal Safety

I have never felt less safer than now.

I have lived in the Chicago north side for over a decade.

I repeat - I have never felt less safer than now.

Walking through downtown Sunday night (don't ask), the farther you get from the Lake, the more dodgy the feeling gets, the more shady characters abound.

Before, the bums (black) were asking, usually in a pleasant, quiet voice for your change.

Now they accost you, even try to grab you.

No fear of a response from the (white) target, more, the other white people start to run/walk really REALLY fast away from this situation, away from you (I pushed the bum away and walked away rather quickly - I am a tall, scrawny, athletic guy).

"Oh, this white boiiieee is proud!".

Walking proud (i.e. normal speed, not looking afraid) is starting to draw attention to myself.

I can already see comments from black people who read this article - "You are seeing things, you are afraid for no reason".

Yes.

I am afraid.

The feeling of hatred is palpable in the city.

Personal experience again - Clark street, where all the pubs and bars are, middle of the weekend day, me walking around, enjoying the day, around me very much an all white crowd.

An SUV rolls on the street, a man (black) shows himself through the sun roof and shouts, REALLY loudly:

FUUUUCK YOU YOU FUCKING WHITE CRACKA HONKEY, FUUUUUUUUUUCK YOUUUUUUUUUUU!

No reaction from the white crowd, who just stood there, stunned, with one (white) girl whispering to another (white) girl: "What did he say?", followed by "Something about a cracka...".

The SUV rolled away as the light turned green, the black man got back down to sit in the passenger seat.

This was weekend (Sunday), in the middle of the day, perhaps around 1PM, on one of the safest streets in Chicago.

Personal experience - I am noticing on my North Side neighborhood a lot, a LOT of young black men (never women, I do not see black women) wearing those pants rolled down to their hips, proudly showing their boxer type underwear, baseball caps on their heads at all kinds of angles.

These black youths (all men) and young adult (men) are NOT from the neighborhood.

They look out of place, they do not BELONG.

Personal experience - recently, a block away from my house, a black teenage pimp was strolling, bobbing down, smirking, showing off, because right alongside him he had a heavily in a make up, black mascara eyes, shirt down one side to expose her breast, looking scared and looking around like an animal trapped, a white hoe ("ooohhh you racisss, it was a boyfriend and girlfriend" - nope, I am not stupid, you could tell).

Personal experience - a friend of mine lives even further north, and one assumes that the further north one gets, the safer (read - whiter) the area is.

No such luck - black youths are "dancing" on the street.

And by "dancing", what is meant is that the kids are stopping on the street in front of speeding cars, making a very unsafe situation.

This is not a very intelligent thing to do, I myself have no idea what would possess one to risk one's life in front of a speeding car...

Unless...

Unless they know that the (white, suburban, coming from work, tired) driver WOULD NOT DARE to hit them.

A man with a family, coming home to work to his wife and kids has a lot to lose.

Getting involved in an incident, he can be sued, can put his family in a spotlight, it is simply not worth it, better to swerve, better to walk faster, eyes down, be a (white) bitch walking fast past the (swaggering, smirking, black) kids.

Being a white family guy is a never ending quest to make enough money to move his kids and wife to a safe area, safe school, and then timing it just so he can sell his house before THEY come, property values plummet, kids get stabbed (or worse) at school, the neighbor calls the police on a home invasion...

Knockout King

On the blustery morning of April 16, Hoang Nguyen and his wife, Yen, left their Dutchtown apartment to go grocery shopping, a Saturday routine. (...) Hoang, a 72-year-old retired schoolteacher and avid painter, immigrated with his wife to St. Louis three-and-a-half years ago from their native Vietnam. The couple wanted to be closer to their daughter, Lan, who'd married an American and settled in south county. Kenny joined his parents six months later. By now the Nguyens were fixtures in Dutchtown's growing Vietnamese community and active parishioners at Resurrection of Our Lord. Recently Hoang had begun taking English classes at the International Institute of St. Louis nearby.

When the Nguyens left the grocer at about 10:30, they took a shortcut home through the alley that parallels Chippewa to the south. They'd been taking this route for months; though it made Yen nervous, the alley's gradual slope made it easier for her elderly husband to maneuver their pushcart.

Midway down the alley, Nguyen's cart stopped suddenly — seemingly for no reason. "It was like it was a sign saying we shouldn't go that way," Yen says in hindsight. When Hoang got the wheels moving again, they looked up and saw two young men and two young women approaching.

Moments later, one of the men charged.

Hoang stepped in front of his wife to protect her, she recalls. The man grabbed Hoang's jacket as he pleaded for mercy, shouting, "No, no, no!"

SEATTLE - A 16-year-old boy from West Seattle says he was held hostage and beaten for hours, all because of the color of his skin.

Shane McClellan says two men kicked and whipped him at gunpoint - and told him they singled him out because he is white.

The attackers stripped off McClellan's belt and started whipping his back.

"They said, 'This is for what your people did to our people.' They were like whipping me with my belt, my studded belt," Shane recounts.

One of the men held a gun against the back of his head and burned his neck with cigarettes.

At one point they shoved McClellan's face into a hole with the gun against his head. They also urinated on him and poured beer over him.

MILWAUKEE - A group of friends hanging out at Reservoir Park in Milwaukee were attacked and robbed around midnight on July 4th, minutes after the looting of a gas station near the corner of North Humboldt and East North Avenues.

The victims have black eyes, staples in their heads and bruises throughout their body.

The victims said a group of nearly 50 teenagers came running down North Avenue early Monday morning.

50 teenagers.

That's a small army.

But minutes before a group of teens looted the BP gas station a block away at Humboldt and North.

The surveillance video showed boys and girls snatching chips, beverages and entire display cases before running out of the store.

The victims believe those same teens attacked them.

"They were beating up dudes and girls they were kicking my sister they kicked her head they punched me and it was guys and girls," explained a sobbing victim.

Another victim this time a 28-year-old man said he saw anywhere from 30 to 50 kids run at he and his friends.

"It was pretty scary just because it was so random," explained the second victim.

So random.

One moment you are safe, the next a group of 50 kids are beating you bloody while you writhe on the ground and hear them laughing.

A friend of mine was robbed tonight at knifepoint. He lives by Nelson and Southport. A friend of his was coming over and the guys I guess followed, pushed the friend into the apartment and busted out the knives. The perpetrators were 2 black males. One was wearing a camo jacket and had dreadlocks.

Third Boystown Stabbing In As Many Weeks Caught On Video

The incident took place around 11:54 p.m. near the intersection of Halsted and Aldine, according to the Windy City Times. The Chicago Sun-Times reports that the victim was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition, though a video posted on YouTube shows him enduring multiple stab wounds.

No sooner had Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy been confirmed by the Chicago City Council, then he addressed the media about a crime wave affecting downtown Chicago.

He said the wild teens that have been running rampant through the Streeterville and Gold Coast neighborhoods are more complex than originally reported.

"There's a number of different categories that we're talking about," McCarthy said. "We're talking about shoplifting, we're talking about robbery incidents ... but they're getting lumped in to one category."

He asked for the media's help in separating each of these downtown crimes into their own category.

A mob of about 15 to 20 youths reportedly beat and robbed two people downtown, witnesses told NBC Chicago.

The attack happened near the intersection of West Chicago Avenue and North Wabash Avenue at about 8 p.m.

"When we saw the first punch thrown at the kid, me and my friends took off our uniforms and just darted over there trying to help," said witness Cory Bynum. "We get there, [the victim was] coughing up blood, his face is like really bloody and he's all, 'Oh, they just stole $350 from me.'"

The thieves then ran toward the nearby Chicago Red Line stop, at Chicago and State, another witness said.

Mobs Attack on City Buses: Police

In two separate incidents, as many as 15 teens have stormed Chicago Transit Authority buses, attacked their victims and darted off with cell phones and other electronic devices, authorities said Tuesday.

Both incidents were near the University of Illinois at Chicago campus, prompting city and campus authorities to issue community alerts.

In the first attack, near West Roosevelt Road and South Loomis Street at about 11:40 p.m. Saturday, a victim was struck multiple times before the thieves ran off with his cell phone.

About 25 minutes later, near South Racine Avenue and West 13th Street, a student said he was sitting on a No. 12 bus when as many as 15 black boys and young men boarded the bus without paying. The student was hit in the back of his head with a glass bottle and was robbed of his iPod, said UIC police.

The young thieves were described as being between 14 and 20 years old, standing between 5 feet, 5 inches and 6 feet, 1 inches tall, and weighing between 140 and 180 pounds. They were last seen wearing baseball caps, shorts and T-shirts. Some of them had braided hair and others had short hair, the alert said.

We take these matters seriously and reach decisions about them after careful consideration. This is a good opportunity to explain our approach to issues like these.

We do not reference race unless it is a fact that is central to telling the story.

The race is not relevant to the story here - there is no reason to report that ALL of these young criminals are black.

Aggravated batteries dropped by 14.2 percent and robbery was down nearly 4 percent.

Two people in Patti LaBelle's entourage have been slapped with assault charges in connection with the attack of a military cadet at a Texas airport.

Norma Harris, 63, and Efrem Holmes, 43, were charged this week for allegedly pushing West Point cadet Richard King into a nearby pillar, giving him a concussion and several head injuries.

Both are charged with misdemeanour assault in the incident which happened on March 11 at Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston.

The original police report named King, 23, as a suspect after it was filed by officers who can be seen on airport surveillance video taking photographs with LaBelle, 67, after the incident happened.

Wait, wait, wait, wait, fucking WAIT.

The two HPD officers, who did not respond to the incident or were assigned to investigate it, later asked the singer to pose with them for a photograph.

Army cornerback Richard King found himself in an altercation with singer Patti LaBelle's bodyguards at an airport in Houston, and wound up with a concussion. A scary situation for King, as he missed his entire junior season after suffering multiple concussions during his sophomore year.

Making matters worse for King, the punishment he has received from West Point for the incident is a year suspension from the football team, which ends his football career. Though that's not nearly as bad as the fact he's also being sent into active duty.

Lets sum up in convenient bullet points, as I was taught in my college:

* A star white football player with a promising career is assaulted by black thugs err bodyguards "guarding" big shot star Patti LaBelle

* He is beat bloody and receives a concussion

* Police arrive on the scene and pose for pictures with the R&B star, with the blood of Mr. King still on the pavement...

* Mr. King is then punished by being thrown from the Army football team, ending his sporting career

* Mr. King is busted down in rank (thrown out of West Point) and ready to be deployed to die in a war (Afghanistan)

Interestingly, when I first got wind of the story, the race of Mr. King was NOT written about, and the tone of the article made the claim that Mr. King was standing too close to the diva's luggage.

After reading about "American football", I imagined a big, hulking black guy...

King, who was home from spring break, filed a lawsuit this week, suing LaBelle, saying she ordered her bodyguards to beat him up as he waited for a ride home outside a terminal at Bush Intercontinental Airport. Black women bemoan shortage of black men in college

The strip through the campus of Clark Atlanta University looks like a fashion runway, even at 8 a.m.

Young women walk by in tight skirts, designer tops, high heels and makeup -- looking like they're going to a club instead of calculus.

But when you're at a school with nearly 3,600 women and only 1,500 men, some women don't want to miss an opportunity to look their best and catch the eyes of some of the campus' high-demand males.

"It will for a lot of guys," acknowledges freshman Naqwanna Taylor, "but I don't think those are the ones you're looking for."

Around the country, colleges are becoming increasingly more female, but the imbalance is even greater at historically black colleges such as Clark, which is 71 percent women.

Clark students find out early about the female-to-male ratio.

"During orientation, they had us in the multipurpose room," says freshman Chantel Runnels. "They had males sitting on one side and females sitting on the other side. The females were going all the way back. The males went to like the fifth row.

"That was scary," she added. "What are black men doing?"

Black males are graduating from high school at rates equal to whites, but many are choosing not to enroll in college. Many join the military or go straight into the work force. And others get caught up in the criminal justice system -- where they make up 47 percent of the prison population.

I have just re-watched "Bibi" Netanyahu's speech in Congress given Tuesday, 24th of May, 2011.

The sorry spectacle had a familiar feeling to me: here was the big boss speaking to his underlings, desperate to clap harder, to shout and show themselves to him, to prove their loyalty by how desperately they wanted to please.

I have had a sensation of deja vu throughout the whole speech, as if I've seen it before...

Googling for AIPAC delegates, lets take one article at the top of a search page and analyze it.

I lucked out - this is actually an interesting article which sheds new light on the hullabaloo that is the AIPAC conference.

Note: this is not about the current treasonfest, but a past one.

Well worth reading, though, as some things are made very clear in it.

Black Americans are now actively recruited to soften the racist image of Israel, which is in the business of oppressing brown people using my and yours tax money.

It does not go over well for the PR campaign in the 21st Century that AIPAC delegates and speakers were pretty much all white (other than a certain American with a moslem middle name...).

The conference is held over a three-day period and attracts speakers of great renown or expertise.

Former CIA Director James Woolsey and Steve Emerson, an international expert on terrorism, were representative of the experts from think tanks.

Apart from blacks, the AIPAC is, as always, reaching out to the religious nutjobs here in America.

That mutual goal also makes it easy to understand the reception that Dick Cheney received when he spoke. The president-elect of AIPAC introduced the vice president as representing a very pro-Israel administration that has repeatedly stood with the Jewish state, especially during the recent war, supplying them with arms and other munitions, and speaking on their behalf at the G-8 and in other important venues.

You can rejoice alongside myself to hear the (not so) recent great news that this public servant did not serve any jail time.

A Chicago police officer avoided jail time today for pummeling a woman who was tending bar, even though prosecutors produced a previously unseen video showing him beating someone else at the bar hours earlier.

Anthony Abbate was sentenced to two years probation for beating Karolina Obrycka in February of 2007. He could have gotten up to five years for the attack, which was captured by the bar's security camera and shown around the world.

Don't worry, this is just a isolated example, a bad apple, and we still should trust our glorious peace officers who protect and serve us.

Lets continue with justice, American style:

Judge John Fleming said he decided against jail because he did not believe the crime was serious enough and throwing Abbate behind bars would not be a deterrent to others.

"If I believed that sending Anthony Abbate to prison would stop people from getting drunk and hitting other people, I'd sentence him to the maximum," the judge said. "But I don't believe that is the case."

Obviously throwing people in jail for beating up somebody is not a deterrent.

I encourage you to find a beautiful blonde woman and beat her up - I assume a judge presiding over your case will have similar views.

After all, justice is blind and impartial... ?

In arguing for prison time, prosecutors produced a previously unseen video from the bar hours before Obrycka was attacked showing Abbate beating someone else.

In the video, a man in the bar can be seen speaking with Abbate for a few seconds, after which Abbate grabs the man, slams him against a wall and then throws him across the room. The man crashes to the floor and into the bar stools, and Abbate stands over him as the man tries to shimmy away on his back.

Just an isolated example, it's not like our cops have anger management, err...

Assistant State's Atty. LuAnn Snow said the attack was one of three unprovoked assaults in the span of 6 hours, a violent window into "a day in the life of Anthony Abbate." Authorities did not charge Abbate with the other two alleged attacks.

Err, right, this man is a good man, a pillar of the community, like most police officers...

As time passed, "I thought about the beating a lot," she said. "I had nightmares about it, I try to avoid thinking about the beating, but I was helpless again... I pulled away from people close to me. I was irritable and angry, [and] I was fearful of other people. If someone walked behind me, I would jump and unexpected noises made me jump, too.

"The world didn't feel like a safe place anymore," Obrycka said. "I also started to have anxiety attacks which I never had before. When something would remind me of the beating, I would start to feel nauseated, then vomit. My head hurt, my hands became numb and then I would start to sweat and shake."

What a pissant little bitch, an immigrant no less, daring to besmirch the good name of our civil servants!

Before handing down his sentence, Fleming said "any adult in the world" would know better than to act as Abbate did, but said he did not believe that a term of imprisonment was appropriate.

Right on, judge!

A correct decision, as I am sure that this officer just needed to let off a little steam, err, three times, in his very stressful job... Thass'all.

You likely recall the case of Anthony Abbate, the Chicago officer who beat bartender Karolina Obrycka; the fallout, and worldwide attention, led to the resignation of superintendent Phil Cline and the brief tenure of outsider Jody Weis. "He's tarnished our image worse than anybody else in the history of the department," Cline said at the time.

The Abbate tape doomed Cline and put the CPD on its heels. But for me, a worse tape, and much worse bureaucratic malfeasance that followed, was the tape of Michael Pleasance, the unarmed man accidentally shot by CPD officer Alvin Weems. I played a very small role in the coverage, editing the tape to my then-colleague (and now Better Government Association senior investigator) John Conroy's narration. I watched Pleasance get shot a good hundred times over the course of a day; Eric Zorn did a frame-by-frame breakdown.

I admit that I might be biased, knowing I'll be unable to get that video out of my head.

Yesterday, one of the most tragic Chicago stories of the decade added another tragic chapter: Weems was found dead in his home, and suicide is suspected.

I'm not sure why the Pleasance shooting never got the attention that the Abbate beating did. Perhaps because Abbate's offense was malicious, whereas Weems's was a tragic mistake. Perhaps because it's complex—the degree to which Weems was negligent is dependent on the interpretation of a chain of minor events. I recommend you read Conroy's definitive Reader piece, "Killed On Camera," to see how a series of errors—some small, some serious—led to Pleasance's death. There's a Rashomon-like quality to the story, and it can't be properly understood without the details.

But the errors didn't end with the shooting. As Conroy details, Weems's story changed, as did the CPD's, as information came out. The Office of Professional Standards recommended Weems be fired on the basis of ten charges, encompassing both the shooting and its aftermath. He was suspended for 30 days, and later promoted to detective.

It reminds me a bit of what caused John Kass's break from Mayor Daley, as described in his widely discussed column from yesterday: not the errors that led to the man-made Chicago Flood, but the victims of the bureaucratic ass-covering that followed:

One reluctant head belonged to Jim McTigue, a low-ranking North Side city worker, a Cubs fan and tunnel inspector. Daley held a news conference to rip on McTigue, saying McTigue didn't warn his superiors of the breach in the tunnel that led to the flood. It turned out that Daley was wrong, that McTigue had indeed warned his bosses, and they had ignored him.

"I don't want to become the Mrs. O'Leary's cow of the flood," McTigue told me.

I think citizens have a greater tolerance for terrible mistakes than bureaucrats believe, and a lower tolerance for them not being dealt with honestly, for obvious reasons, but the spread is something I'll never really understand.

There are three systems of law in this country.

One is for the elite - the top 1%, the hedge fund babies, the banksters.

Think back to the S&L financial scandal - no, not the one currently ongoing, in which the banksters not only are not facing prosecution but are reaping record breaking bonuses for destroying this country and much of the world's economy.

There is a pattern of the powerful abusing the system for personal gain - especially one Rep. Jim Wright (D-TX), who was "implicated him in a number of influence peddling charges, such as Vernon Savings and Loan, and attempting to get William K. Black fired from deputy director of the Federal Savings and Loan Insurance Corporation (FSLIC) under Gray, and Rep. Wright resigned May 31, 1989 after being found guilty by the House Ethics Committee."

William K. Black is my fucking personal hero.

He is one of the good guys, who lost the fight (well, we ALL lost the fight, but he was one of the few who was in a position to fight and tried to do so, the rest of us are sheep in line in the slaughterhouse)

What's that saying - history repeats itself?

The current financial crisis is the S&L crisis, on a GLOBAL scale - similar methods, similar "financial products", the real estate market used for manipulation (note to self - an article about the S&L comparing it to the current calamity simply writes itself).

How many of the current banksters were prosecuted and went to jail - you can count those on the fingers of no hand...

That's the top 1% justice system.

The second tier is the enforcers - the FBI, the police, the DEA.

While sometimes the pawns are sacrificed, usually they are defended by the bureaucracy tooth and nail, and in worst cases, they are let go - but usually no jail time, no prison time, just a slap on the wrist.

The media dutifully regurgitates the "isolated case", "few bad apples".

The third tier is the niggers.

Yes, I used the "N" word, and I will not apologize for it.

Because, even though I am a pasty white, non muscled, thin except for the gut sticking out, even though I am making over $100,000 annual take from my consulting activities, with no record (nor any attempts at) criminal activities, after my experiences at a safety checkpoint and some other incidental run-ins with the "bravest" and "best", you see, I realized that,

I am a nigger too.

We ALL are niggers.

He was fired from CPD on Tuesday, 15 Dec 2009, a few years after the scandal.

Testifying in his own defense against charges he beat a petite female bartender, Chicago police Officer Anthony Abbate told a Cook County judge this afternoon that the woman threatened him and that he threw her to the ground, lunging at her with his arms and legs, only in an effort to “get her off of me.”

“She grabbed me and threw me against the wall,” the 250-pound suspended Chicago cop said of the 5-foot-3, 115-pound Karolina Obrycka, who is seen on the bar’s surveillance cameras pushing and pulling the burly cop in what she described Monday as an effort to get him to leave the area behind the bar at Jesse’s ShortStop Inn.

“I hit my head,” Abbate testified before his attorneys rested their case this afternoon in a case that became an Internet sensation because of the video. “I’m trying to get away from her.”

Abbate's attorney, Peter Hickey, said that Abbate was "tossed around...like a rag doll" by Obrycka. "She grabbed him (and) almost had him on the ground."

Back on the day of the incident, immediately after Abbate left, a friend of his came in the bar and offered money to Obrycka if she would not prosecute. Police just might “find” some drugs in Obrycka’s car or the bar owner’s car if she didn’t keep quiet, Abbate’s friend allegedly said. Obrycka declined the bribe, ignored the threat, and called the police.

Four uniformed officers arrived. One sat at the bar and ate pretzels while another one recorded license numbers off the jukebox and other machines in the bar. The bar is not allowed to operate the jukebox and other accessories unless they pay for city licenses to do so. Perhaps it was important for the officer to make sure the city was getting it’s cut.

Remember - you have no rights, and this whole system of laws is but an illusion - something you will see on TV and in the cinemas, but something which does not seem to exist in our day to day world.

Seriously, read this.

It is Lew Rockwell - but even if you are a liberal (like me) who hugs trees and farts rainbows while riding unicorns to work (again, like myself), READ IT.

There are three law systems in America:

One for celebrities - they routinely get away with drug use and possession, and sometimes even murder (yes, him).

One for the police - they DO get away with murder, beatdowns, threatening civilians... I have experienced this myself, and I am the pastiest white among the pastiest whites, mid 30's male.

And last, but not least, for us - the soon to disappear middle class.

I was going to write that there is a fourth one - for the blacks and minorities - but that is not true ANY MORE.

We are ALL niggers to these people, and we will ALL feel their humours and choleras and moods.
