2PM‘s Nichkhun, Taecyeon and Chansung showed up on SBS’ Incarnation and were asked about 2PM members dating.

The boys did say that the ban on dating had been lifted. MC Shin Dong Yeop thought it was pretty much a non-issue since the guys had been dating all this time, right?

Nichkhun said that he didn’t consider dating what he’s been doing which is talking on the phone and texting. So rightfully, he was asked if it was because the woman was a celebrity as well. Nichkhun answered: “I′m really scared of scandals. I′m scared of being seen with a woman.”

Confession time, y’all.

I’ve been a Jason Mraz fan for over ten years. That’s right, I’m gonna get all hipster about it, too, because I discovered him before he was ever signed to a record label, and well before any of this “I’m Yours” hysteria began. His lyrical prowess is unrivaled (even Dumbfoundead gives him a shoutout in one of his songs). His voice is incredible, his songwriting skillz are out of this world, and it doesn’t hurt that he’s freaking hilarious.

It makes sense that I also love Korean music, because Korea cannot get enough of this guy! I don’t know who among you have watched A Gentleman’s Dignity, but I swear every other song on that show is a Mraz tune. Just typing in “K-Pop Jason Mraz” into the YouTube search bar will pull up dozens of covers done by our favorite idols.

The dude is awesome, alright?

Not that we need another reason to love him, but he recently did a show in Hongdae and invited Roy Kim and Sungha Jung to join him in the hour-long concert. Pretty much everything about it is great and flawless and wondrous.

I took an hour out of my day and watched the whole thing, and you will not regret it. Fangirl’s Honor.

During last year’s ‘Troublemaker‘ performance at the 2012 MAMAs, Hyunseung and 4minute‘s HyunA took to the stage to get their freak on, and near the end of the performance the audience got a face-full of hard penis and nobody could do anything about it.

We will put their MV’s head-to-head in a no-holds-barred fight to the death!! It will be bloody, folks. It will be emotional. And it will be in Korean. So get your ice cold beer and a hotdog, and prepare yourself for AKPF’s

In the black corner, we have 2PM‘s alleged real comeback MV for “A.D.T.O.Y.” Already it’s too much work to type that out. The song is not bad. Not bad at all. And compared to their prelude first single I feel that the overall concept is better realized. AND THERE’S SKIN! YAY!!

I do, however, take issue with the choreography. While “Come Back Blah Blah Blah” had this kind of showtune-y feel, this just reminds me of a bad drag show. Crossing legs on chairs, check. Snapping while swinging your hips, check. Placing a hand around your body so it looks like someone else’s hand, check. Booty popping, check. And of course, that classic move where they lead with the crotch. Double check. What is going on here? This is not manly choreography at all! Not even when 2PM does it. I suspect that JYP Oppa himself had something to do with this. JYP women are always so beautifully choreographed, why can’t that translate to the guys, too?? *shakes fist at heavens*

And I felt oh so tortuously blue-balled when I saw this…

In the white corner is veteran idol group Shinhwa! They have been serving up k-pop fierceness since the mother-flipping NINETIES, KIDS!  Some of the currently promoting rookie groups were barely born when Shinhwa debuted in 1998. Damn.

Their comeback video for “This Love” is truly some of their best work since they came back in 2012. Yes, it sounds like a club song circa 2005, and yes, the vogue-ing is kind of the opposite of masculine, but somehow (for me at least) it kinda works.  The visuals are sleek and sexy, they’re styled really well (give me ALL THE SUITED KOREAN MEN!), and even though no one can vogue like Madonna, they commit, dammit. I’d like to give special recognition to Eric, who would make RuPaul proud with his vogue-ing skills.

The dance break down for the opening of the first chorus is especially cool.

Cupid is working extra hard in Korea’s acting community. Lots of new good news (and some semi bad news) is coming out of Hallyuwood!

First off, singer Baek Ji Young is 4 months pregnant! She and fiancée, actor Jung Suk Won had initally denied rumors of a pregnancy when it first came up at the announcement that they were to get hitched in June. The two have decided to skip the honeymoon since she is still in her early stages of pregnancy. Baek Ji Young will continue to be a judge for Korea’s The Voice 2, and Jung Suk Won is filming for movie, “N.L.L.-Battle of Yeonpyeong.”

Congratz to the couple!

Next we have another couple who initially denied their plan to wed.

Actress Han Hye Jin, and soccer player, Ki Sung Yong will be getting married in July. They too are denying pregnancy rumors, but only time will tell. BTW she is 32 while he is only 24 (love that noona romance!), it will be very interesting if she really is pregnant. Stay tuned.

Finally we have the model couple.

Actor Jo In Sung, and model/actress Kim Min Hee were revealed to be couple in late April. They’ve known each other for 10 years, but have been in a relationship for only 4 months.

I love this couple. Very good looking!

This story is a confusing one.

While Oh Yeon Seo was in a TV marriage on WGM with MBLAQ’s Lee Joon, news broke that she and actor, Lee Jang Woo, who was previously married to T-ara’s Eunjung on WGM, were in a relationship. She and her agency repeatedly denied it, while Lee Jang Woo, and his agency kept quiet, and NEVER commented on the alleged relationship. 4 months later, it has been revealed that two were in fact dating, and now have broken up.

Many are assuming the fact that he left her high and dry was the cause of the split, and I totally agree.
