Hai Di Lao has become the favorite place of mine for hot pot in Shanghai. Known for their distinguished service, customers here are treated like royalty. Hungry waiting people get to enjoy free snacks, board games, and even manicures to pass the time. Once you get seated and put in your order, you’ll be lucky if one of your dishes lands you a free performance. Here my man is showing off his aerobatic noodle making skills. I paid close attention — it didn’t grace the floor even once.

Today marks the start of the six day Lantern Festival where the first two days are dedicated to hanging up and decorating, well, lanterns of course. The last day when the lanterns get taken down will officially mark the end to the Chinese New Year festivities. Take a look outside, and you may even see kids walking the streets with bright colorful lanterns shaped as different fun objects.

A few months back when I saw the Juke-R for the first time I chuckled. I had the slightest clue how you go from a GT-R to this little bugger. Today I know why. Although the Juke-R inherits the same engine specs as the GT-R at 480 horses and a 3.8 liter V6 twin turbo, it has one obvious advantage… size. Here we have the Juke-R up against a Lamborghini Gallardo, Ferrari 458 Italia, and Mercedes-Benz SLS. The Juke-R’s light weight allows it to quickly cut corners and pick up acceleration. Though if this track were just one straight-shot, the outcome probably would have been much different.
