It has been some time since Amika departed and with it a rich nightlife history. Who remembers some of the celebrities that visited the club and either enhanced their profile or got too sucked in to the glamour and blew their wad?

Diddy was one, Jack Wilshere was another.

Still time flies and times change. The best London clubs from the past would probably not have a space in today's market. But why?

Well that is something that is hard to explain but what is certain is that people are still talking about some of the nights hosted at Amika nightclub.

Britain's Prince Harry ran up a £3,000 bar bill at a London club over the weekend. Harry - who had a heated row with girlfriend Chelsy Davy earlier in the evening - decided to drown his sorrows and treated his group of friends to several bottles of Krug champagne and Grey Goose vodka at Kensington's trendy Amika nightclub on Friday.

Harry, 23, and five friends snubbed the nightspot's VIP section, preferring to take at table in the corner near the DJ's booth when they arrived shortly after midnight.
