Amisha Patel who did so well in the otherwise disappointing Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic is the dream girl on the front cover of September Verve’s bridal special. Amisha’s name, by the way, is a combination of her father and mother’s, Amit and Asha.

American-educated Amisha appeared in Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. last year and has had a strong career in movies such as Kaho Naa Pyar Hai, for which she won a Best Debut Award, Gadar:Ek Prem Katha, which gained her a Special Performance Award, Humraaz, which won her a Best Actress Award, Elaan, the wonderful Mangel Pandey: The Rising, Ankahee, Heyy Baby and Bhool Bhalaiyaa. She will soon be seen in Run Bhola Run opposite Govinda and Chatur Singh Two Star with Sanjay Dutt.

Amisha recently performed along with Rakhi Sawant at the Airtel Salaam-E-Comedy Awards which were presented by Ranvir Shorey and Suresh Menon. Her slim new look has been attributed to her new interest in spinning, or studio cycling, which she does regularly.

Amisha is friendly at the moment with London-based Kanav Puri and they recently had a holiday together in South Africa where she has been filming Chatur Singh Two Star. They saw Table Top Mountain and the Cape of Good Hope together. Amisha says her life has been filled with happiness since she met Kanav so the signs are good!

Although Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic didn't make a splash at the box office, Amisha Patel's
performance has been very much appreciated. Her hard work has paid off as well, as it has been reported that she has signed a three film deal with Yash Raj Films. When questioned, she did not deny the rumors, saying “I can't speak on that. But this is the best time of my life.” There have been rumors that she’s signed Shaad Ali’s next and her co-star would be Ranbir. However he denies it, “No, I’m not doing Shaad Ali’s next.”

The actress has recently refused Billo Barber due to the advice of Aditya Chopra who offered her two more films under the Yash Raj banner in return. The Chopras have been impressed with her performance in Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic in addition to her dance number, ‘Lazy Lamhe’, which has shaped ‘thoda’ magic among the audience.

Amisha is currently shooting for Ajay Chandok’s Chatur Singh Two Star. The film is a comedy
inspired from The Pink Panther series. “Once again, I’ll be seen in the role of a sexy diva but still, I will try to be as different as possible. The compliments for Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic have been very overwhelming,” she states.

Amisha's first film with Yash Raj may not have worked, but that isn't stopping her. Her offers are increasing by the day, and hopefully she can offer 'thoda pyaar thoda magic' for Yash Raj Films in the future!

After years of silence and a string of flops, Amisha Patel is suddenly making all the right noises, and moves.

Ever since her breakup with filmmaker Vikram Bhatt, with whom she lived in for three years, Amisha seems determined to come into her own.

We don't know if it's the new man, Kannav Puri, who has brought a change in her personality, but what we can say is that Amisha is no longer sickeningly sweet or boring.

First on her agenda was an image revamp. After shedding some clothes and even doing a sizzling number in Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic, Amisha's out mesmerising men, with great success.

Earlier there were reports of her growing closeness to the Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic director, Kunal Kohli. So much so that Kunal increased the length of her role in the film, much to the annoyance of its leading lady, Rani Mukerji.

Now, Rani has some one more development to worry about. Apparently, Amisha's magic has worked on Rani's beau Aditya Chopra as well.

The filmmaker has offered Amisha two more films under his prestigious Yash Raj Films banner after being greatly impressed by her performance in Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic.

Apparently Amisha will star in the film to be directed by Shaad Ali, for which Ranbir Kapoor has already been signed.

Amisha, who has not been seen too much on the screen of late, is obviously on top of the world about these two offers. The only person who is seemingly unhappy is Rani, who is feeling insecure. After all, isn't she the unofficial female face of Yash Raj Films?

Rani is also unhappy that in spite of her being the leading lady, it's Amisha who's hogging all the limelight in the media in the run up to Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic's release on June 27.

Amisha Patel got the title of “Sexy Avatar” after seducing Saif Ali Khan in Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic. The movie under Yash Raj banner proved quite helpful for Amisha. The song ‘lazy lamhe’, shows Amisha in her best in the entire career (we are talking about some serious skin show only).

When asked whether she is joining the queue of Soha Ali Khan, who posed for a magazine or Kareena Kapoor who managed a skin show in bikini in Tashan, the diva says, “It was the demand of the character, I am not joining any queue”.

She is happy and proud to be in the film which is portraying her new sexy and glamorous avatar.

Well, leaving the flaunted words apart, she’s not sure if she really is looking hot in the movie. “You will have to watch the movie to figure out that I certainly have worn such clothes for the first time,” giggles Amisha.

Amisha has always been giving the media personnel a reason to peep into her personal life. After breaking off with Vikram Bhatt, she has already found her new guy, ‘Kanav Puri’, who’s a Delhi based businessman.

We even heard that Amisha has dropped her surname in her movie Thoda Pyaar Thoda magic. Hopefully, just ‘Amisha’ will bring her luck and bag her some roles in which she gets to act rather than revealing her skin.

Those who have written the pretty actor Amisha Patel off, may have acted a bit too soon. It's true that after a magnanimous beginning in the form of Kaho Na Pyar Hai and Gadar, Amisha today is nowhere in the picture. But she'll be seen in the 'pictures' soon enough.

The glamorous actress, who is paired opposite actor Saif Ali Khan in an scorching item number "Lazy Lamhe" admits it is really a hot number. "Well, whether I am looking sexy or not, you have to watch the film, but yes for the first time I am wearing clothes that I never wore before," says the sultry actress, who made her acting debut with the blockbuster "Kaho Na Pyar Hai" in 2000. Much preparation and hard work went into the shooting of Amisha Patel’s sensuous song in Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic .
Contrary to rumours, Amisha Patel isn’t doing an item number in the film, but has a proper role, though a brief one. Apparently, she plays a girl whose match Rani Mukherjee tries to make with Saif Ali Khan .
What’s grabbing the eyeballs before the film’s release is the sexy song “Lazy Lamhe”
featuring Amisha in a yellow bikini designed by Manish Malhotra . However, shooting the song wasn’t a cakewalk for both Amisha and director Kunal Kohli . The song was shot at a resort in Alibaug. Kohli initially planned to wrap the song within eight days. But it eventually took longer than that. The number was set in and around a swimming pool. Since a part of the song shows Amisha going underwater, the actress had to train before doing the scenes. Also, Kohli got a special underwater camera to shoot those sequences.
However, when Amisha began to shoot, she developed fever because of repeatedly going into cold water in the month of January. Then, Kohli found a way out. He planned to heat up the pool’s water before shooting. This doubled the task of the production team but the result was eventually achieved. Finally, the song that was meant to be shot in 8 days was canned in two week’s time.

Bollywood actress Amisha Patel has for some time been noticeably silent about confirming or denying whether she has split with her log term boyfriend Vikram Bhatt.

However, on BBC Asian Network’s ‘Love Bollywood’ show she told presenters Rajini and Murtz she was definitely single and even advertised what she’s looking for in a man!

Amisha told listeners: "Amisha is very single and ready to mingle.…. He should be a really good human being, love me to death, worship the ground I walk on, be intelligent... (laughs)".

Love Bollywood presenter Murtz asked Amisha, "What do you not like about the industry?"

To which Amisha replied, "The long hours, the make up, the filthy sets- the hot filthy sets, living out of suitcases. The fact that your private life is not private anymore. They make you be a demi god so everything that you do that is good is exaggerated, as is if you do something wrong... and they expect you to be a diva all the time... and they forget that stars like any normal person are normal, we just have a really public profession.'

She added: "We have bad hair days, bad skin days, we cry, we laugh, we feel, exactly like any other person. We are not picture perfect- we are flawed as well and that is something everyone must remember all the thousands of people that idolize us- we are not perfect and we are human beings just like everyone. Expecting you to be perfect all the time is a very hard task".
