Do you use a lot of plastic packaging for your food or drinks? Be careful.! Plastics are made with specific goals tailored to their usage. Let say packaging for detergents, food, oil, chemicals, water, and so forth. Characteristics of each plastic materials also vary.

Code of plastic materials are usually placed at the bottom of the plastic containers. Basically this code states the level of their recycle rate because each plastic materials have a different recycling rate. This code also states the resin content of plastic materials and in terms of application, we can find the guidance in using plastic materials. Some are suitable for high temperature application and some aren't. Some plastic are allowed for one use only, and some even poisonous. For the food grade plastic, we can use as our food container. That is why you need very careful in using those kind of plastic, especially for your food and drink container. Find the summary:

Healthy BMI Prevents High Blood Pressure

One thing as an indicator of human health is blood pressure. Facts say, heart health is strongly influenced by one's blood pressure.

Based on studies conducted by the Royal Free and University College Medical School London, the blood pressure is closely related to body weight. The study suggests that high BMI throughout life had "a strong effect on high blood pressure between ages 36 to 53. BMI (Body Mass Index) is a statistical measurement which compares a person's weight and height. Though it does not actually measure the percentage of body fat, it is used to estimate a healthy body weight based on how tall a person is. Keeping your weight under control, from childhood through middle age, can offset high blood pressure in later years a new study shows.

The study also showed that in men, the lowest birth weight groups consistently had the highest systolic blood pressures. In women, this association of low birth weight leading to higher systolic blood pressures was not evident until women reached the age of 42.

The systolic blood pressure is the upper numbers of a blood pressure reading and is the force that the heart pumps against when it is beating. Higher systolic blood pressures are associated with more distress to the Functioning heart and therefore heart disease. (Quoted: WebMD.com).

As a summary suggest that weight control throughout life is key to prevention of high blood pressure during middle age.

FAT32 and NTFS are file systems created for keeping track of files in the hard disk. A file system is a set of logical constructs that dictate how the space on a disk volume is to be utilized. NTFS is more robust and effective simply because of its advanced features and functionalities. FAT, in general, comprises of overly simplistic data structures, hence making operations more time consuming. The functionalities of NTFS are far more over-powering since it makes use of advanced data structures to improve reliability, disk space utilization and overall performance

YouTube Launched Video Live Streaming Service

Currently video live streaming service has become a trend and make an access to a real-time information becomes easier. Google Site, Free and Easy Way to Create and Share Webpages

Google site is feature owned by Google, where through this facility Google provides an intranet that allows every single person in a group to access information fast and updated. Within a group, people can work together in the Site to attach files and access information from other Google applications such as Google Doc, Google Calendar, YouTube and Picasa. Another advantage is that we will know who is accessing the site.

The steps to create and organize Google Sites:

In the www.google.com, select a category more in the navigation tabs. In the pull down menu select sites.

Click the Create Sites to create a new account.

At this stage you will be asked to select your template as you wish, enter the sites name, choose a theme and a few other settings.

The final step is to enter a captcha code and click Create Site.

Finish, you have sites account now.

Once you have Site(s), then on the under My sites will be listed the name of your site(s). To enter the sites, you can click the name of the existing site on the list.

In this page we can manage the site content, site settings and site appearance. To get into these settings, click More action, then select Manage site. Many things you can do from here.

USB Flash Drive for RAM Upgrade

Have you ever felt that the RAM or memory on your computer is not sufficient? Most people may not know that USB portable flash drive can be used to upgrade the RAM or computer memory.

To be noted, that the use of USB flash drive as additional memory can only be done on the Windows Vista operating system. Windows XP and any other Windows operating system before it do not support ReadyBoost, the feature That the newer Vista introduced and fully support which allows a user to use any USB-based flash drive as a RAM or memory extender.

Here is a guide to using your portable USB flash drive as a RAM upgrade for your computer that uses Windows Vista operating system:

Plug your flash drive into a USB 2.0 port on the computer. Open “My Computer” from the “Start” menu on your computer or run from the hot key (windows key + E) to open Windows Explorer.

Once the flash drive is detected by the computer, right click the flash drive directory and select the “Properties” tab. The Properties window of the drive should pop right up. There should be a tab labeled ReadyBoost on the Properties window, click on it. This is the interface where you will enable and set the flash drive to act as an extended memory in the effort to speed up your PC.

Set ReadyBoost to work. Tab ReadtBoost provides 2 choices in terms of utilization for memory extension.

- Do Not Use this Device: This is the default setting of Windows.

- Use this device: This option provides the freedom for us to determine how large the portions of space from a flash drive that will be used for memory extension.

It should be noted, the use of flash drive space that exceeds the limit can damage both the flash drive itself as well as the computer. That is why Windows provides recommended limits. One more thing, as long functioned as an extended RAM, flash drives can not be used as storage media.

After completing the above settings, click OK. Reboot your computer and feel the change.

Create DOS Boot CD

When we run a computer with an operating system that is working normally, we probably rarely think about the Start-up DOS. But we will begin to feel the importance of the Start-up DOS when there is a problem in our computer's operating system. Nowadays, when disks are not found again, the CD became a practical option to create a DOS start-up media.

MS-DOS Boot CD is a medium used to boot your computer when it begins the startup of the Windows operating system and run some other utility programs such as disk fragment, virus scan, etc.. MS-DOS startup CD contains the programs and DOS commands that are compacted or compressed. It should be noted, that every operation system has unique characteristics. This means that the CD Boot also vary in accordance with the corresponding OS, as this Boot CD will only run on a computer that has a built-in programs that match requirement of the boots CD.

Steps to create MS-DOS Start-up CD:

Step 1

Place a CD into the computer’s CD-ROM drive.

Step 3

In the “My Computer” window, point the mouse at the icon of the computer’s disc drive where your CD is. Right-click on the icon, then select “format”.

Step 4

Once “Format” is clicked, a window box will appear. Options are provided in the Format window wherein users can choose from a variety of actions. Check the box that indicates “Create an MS-DOS startup disk”.

Step 5

Click the “Start” button after checking the “Create an MS-DOS startup disk” box.

Step 6

Users may also copy additional files to their boot CDs. Files added to boot CDs are programs or processes that the user chooses to run upon the system’s startup phase. This is done to support the operating system in launching other applications or utilities such as Anti-virus software and hardware drivers.

Step 7

There are also several types of boot CD that have content specially designed for different operating systems. The required programs in a boot CD include (1) command.com, (2) io.sys/ibmio.sys, and (3) msdos.sys. These processes must be compatible with your version of the operating system.

Google continues it’s innovation to improve the ability and cruising range of it’s fast search package, Google Instant. After the Google Instant developments have enjoyed a wider region, now Google Instant already available to many mobile devices iPhone and Android. This application is still in Beta version and only available in the United States with English only. Google plans to launch a mobile version of Google Instant in the end of this November, including the launch for the region outside the United States.

In the mobile version, activation needs to be done before the application can be used. The activation link located under the search box. In terms of service, no difference between Google Instant desktop version and mobile one, where Google will automatically and instantly displays the query based on what we type, followed by an immediate view search results as well. With this new feature, internet searching will be faster and more effective. Our searching will meet the result just in time. No mouse click or press enter key needed to display the result.

Crankshaft, New Feature from Chrome

More and more, our current discussion is still about Chrome, internet browser from Google that has achieved so many improvements since its released 2 years ago. Compared to other internet browsers, even to browsers that has released many years before, Chrome can be considered as the leader in the term of innovation.

In the end of year 2010, Chrome has become 3rd most popular browser with market share 9.26%, increase from 8% in middle 2010.

Do not need to wait for long enough for us after it's latest feature released i.e. Instant Preview, Google is doing it again. Google introduced Crankshaft, a new compilation infrastructure for V8 on 7 December 2010. V8 is Google Chrome’s JavaScript engine that was already applied by Google on Chrome since the first version.

"By using aggressive optimizations, Crankshaft dramatically improves the performance of compute-intensive JavaScript applications - often by more than a factor of two! This will give users a faster and more responsive experience loading web pages and applications built with complex JavaScript", official said at Chromium Blog.

Google claimed that overall Crankshaft boosts V8’s performance by 50% on the V8 benchmark suite and improves the page load performance of Chrome by 12% for pages that contain significant amounts of JavaScript code. The idea is to heavily optimize code that is frequently executed and not waste time optimizing code that is not.

Crankshaft has four main components:

If you have ever downloaded file or freeware from internet may you provided with a list of addresses to download the same file. Those are some replicas for the existing site that you can choose to download. Those replica sites are called mirror site. Facebook to Launch Email Service?

Facebook user perhaps soon will be able to enjoy the e-mail via his Facebook account. Reported by several sources that recently Facebook prepared and ready to launch an email that uses @facebook.com address.

Previously, Google has launched Google Instant to your PC and mobile platform that provide faster searching and results. With Instant Preview you can find what you are looking for more quickly because with this feature you will be assisted search visually.

Instant Preview provides a graphic overview of a search result and highlights the most relevant sections, making finding the right page as a quick and easy as flipping through a magazine.

To use this feature, you simply click on the magnifying glass located on the right of each search result and will be displayed a pop-up windows to the right of the screen that displays a preview of the linked website. Life is like a spinning wheel, constantly changing, and sometimes we are faced with two or more choices, and we must choose one of them. Like a puzzle, we need to choose which one must be moved and rearranged, move a piece from one side to the other side, to find the solution and correct construction. And then you need your final decision that determine your all planning.

It was then that required careful consideration, especially when it relates to our “puzzle “ of life and our future. Big decisions to be taken. It may move from where we are today, moving from our present condition or change of habit over the years. That is, we will face new challenges, and of course also new risks. We must realize there is no decision without challenges and risks.

Not wrong if some people think something new means of gambling. Because no one can guarantee what we will decide to produce something better. The only certain thing is, you will get new opportunity and in the same time a new risk as well. Risk meaning opportunity, no risk means no opportunity. Something better come from the opportunity.

That's what we need to consider carefully. When we decide something big, may we need to think once, twice, or may be three times. We must weigh the advantages and the lack, after that the decision must be taken. That is life.

Civilization and Happiness

What is the civilization? And what is the happiness? What is the correlation? Although not the only, people say that the aim of building civilization is to obtain happiness.

Isolated tribal hinterland, a very humble and modest community, often called "low civilized". Conversely the more developed rural community or a large urban population, developed countries and the like often called "high civilized". Is it true?

Sometimes a question raised in my minds, what people actually want bothered to become "highly civilized" or to become "modern"? Whether for achieving the happiness?

Perhaps one reason that it makes sense is that their life will becomes easier. Or so they could be happier with the social order that are considered "advanced" and "better". Is it true?

Let us consider the following description to answer or reflect on my last two questions:

Bedouin communities in the interior of Banten (West Java), or there may be some other tribes that much more isolated in the interior of Papua, for example. Is it true that they are not happy because they are considered as "less civilized"?. They may not know cars, telephone, televisions, can’t read and write, never go to school, not familiar with dinner table manner of Europeans, or other habits that more "civilized" society are usually do. They may not know the food flavor, beer, and sugar or fruit juice to drink, branded clothing and jewelry, and so on. So do they mean not ever find happiness?

Let compare to the lifestyle of the "modern" people or "high civilized" people. They have an access to information quickly and up to date through television, internet, phone, etc.. They can move from one place to another in hours even hundreds of miles away without fatigue. They have regular social institution; can enjoy various facilities in all things compared with "primitive" society. "High civilized" society can utilize its expertise to build the industry, working in companies or in the office, an officer, became an actress, a scientist, a doctor, and various other fields that can generate income or high economic value. His life is easier.

But was it easier? And does that mean they never get the suffering?Now let us compare.

"Primitive" society has never had a vehicle. That is, they do not need hard-earned money to buy a car, or motorcycles. They do not have to pay vehicle taxes, submit driving license, fueling his car, or fear of his vehicle stolen. Because all of them are "outside" of their lives. In contrast to the “high civilized" society.

"Primitive" society never heard or understood what it was school. That is, they do not have a headache thinking about where their children will be school, how to buy school uniforms, how to pay tuition etc.. In contrast to the " high civilized" society.

"Primitive" society never heard or knew about telephone. That is, they will not have to buy credits or pay phone billing, and they will never be harmed by cellular signal. Did they suffer? No, because they' have not knew. In contrast to the " high civilized" society.

"Primitive" society does not know about fast food, flavor or canned carbonated beverages, cosmetics for skin care, Air-conditioned room, or ATM machines. Did they suffer? No, because all of that they never knew. Unlike the "high civilization" did.

"Primitive" society can not become official, working in oil and Gas Company, or build an industry with billions dollar of capital. Nor can buy apartments or luxury housing, even a very modest house they did not have. Did they suffer? No. Because they never know. In contrast to the " high civilized" society.

My question is, why should people work hard to be “modern” or “high civilized”?

Rooney to Stay at United till 2015 [Update]

In this week the future of Rooney continues harassed after his statement that he wanted to leave Manchester United, after feeling the Red Devils are no longer competitive to compete for the championship in the UK and also Europe.

Finally after going through serious talks with Sir Alex Ferguson, the club management and also attended by his agent, Rooney decided to remain at the club that has been strengthening since 2004.

Not only that, Rooney was given a three-year contract extension. As a result Rooney's Red Devils will be in uniform until 2015.

“Yeah, I'm delighted. There has been a bit of controversy over the timing of it all. But I'm delighted it's finally signed. Hopefully I cans move on and get back fit and get back playing again”, he said to MUTV, on Friday local time.

From hero to zero;the words might describe the current Rooney’s way of life. Born in Croxteth, Liverpool on 24 October 1985 Wayne Rooney has now become a big star in world football.

Rooney began his career at age of 10 when joining Everton, and started his professional career in 2002 still in Everton. Two years at Everton, Rooney joined Manchester United in 2004. His debut for United begins when entertaining Fenerbahce 24 September 2004 in the Champions League group stage by scoring a hat trick. His career started to climb and until recently has become United's main striker. Even in last season Rooney has become a major foothold in United's score after the departure of Christiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid. In the national team one place irreplaceable for him. Rooney has become a hero who is always praised by a United’s fan as well as British citizens.

No one had expected, his personal life and career are falling down now. After his sex scandal exposed by mass media, he had no spirit as if he had lost his instinct to make a goal. Hard to believe; in the 2010 World Cup he did not even make a goal. Similarly, in the 2010-2011 early seasons Rooney scored only once.
Now Rooney is falling. His statement that suddenly want to leave leave United has sparked criticism from various parties, includes from his fanatical fans. Now Rooney as if expelled from Manchester United and become the enemy a lot of people. No longer hailed as a hero, but scorned. Rooney almost become zero. Only one word to him: Roo, come on raise you up.

200.000 SMS Sent Every Second [Report]

The more advanced and less costly means of communication, especially mobile phones has encouraged the increased use of SMS (Short Message Service).

International Telecommunications Union (ITU), the United Nations telecommunications agency estimates, the total will be around 6.1 trillion SMS messages sent in cellular networks around the world, until the end of this year. That is, all people around the world are now sending approximately 200 thousand SMS per second.

It is also mentioned, at the end of this year's mobile phone users has reached 5.5 billion people, including nearly 1 billion as 3G users.

The growth of the largest mobile phone users actually occur in developing countries (up to 73% in 2010). In developed countries it is only 1.6 percent.

Regarding the development of internet users, the ITU reported till the end of this year predicted Internet users has reached 2 billion people around the world. The biggest users are in China as many as 420 million people using the internet. Increased by about 300 million users (17.65%) compared to the year 2009. Of that amount 1.6 billion to access the internet from home.

Google Chrome 7 Beta Released

Google has released an update to the Chrome dev channel, the third in the 7.0 line. The differences are minor from the previous release and it seems like Google is focusing on bug-fixing, resolving minor bug fixes or crashes.

The new beta, Chrome 7.0.517.24, matches that of Tuesday's developer-channel release (28 September 2010). That doesn't include too much directly visible to users--the about:labs feature for experimental options is one item--but it paves the way for major changes.

For a preview of those coming attractions, browser users should check the new developer version that's been cooking for weeks, version 7.0.536.2. The new features include the activation by default of the WebGL 3D graphics technology, an option for built-in Google Instant search results, and some hardware acceleration for some CSS transformations, a way of handling dynamic changes using the Cascading Style Sheets formatting standard.

The first feature enabled through about:labs is a new ability to show all tabs through an Expose-like feature on Mac OS X and to show tabs vertically on the left side of the browser on Windows. Those who wanted a three-finger downward swipe on a Mac trackpad to jump to the bottom of a Web page, as Firefox does, will be disappointed to find that gesture activates the tab Expose view.

Also through about:labs, Windows gets an upgrade to the omnibox, the dual-purpose address and search bar, so it shows the search-as-you-type behavior of Google Instant. It's awkward at this stage--the omnibox drop-down covers the top searchresults--but oubtless it'll improve.

A lot more hardware acceleration is on the way, but don't necessarily expect it to arrive for Chrome 7. Mozilla and Microsoft, the top two browser makers, have been racing to build hardware acceleration into their browsers as well.

The about:labs mechanism, which parallels Firefox's about:config option as an easier way to change under-the-hood browser settings, will be getting more exercise in the future. One item coming to about:labs is 2D Graphics acceleration, for example. For now, about:labs changes require a browser restart.

The last time the beta version passed a major milestone was August 11 with Chrome 6. Google is aiming to release new versions every six weeks, roughly double the earlier pace.

Remove Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA)

Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) is an anti-piracy system created by Microsoft that enforces online validation of the licensing of several recent Microsoft Windows operating systems when accessing several services, such as Windows Update, and downloading Windows components from the Microsoft Download Center. This notification checks whether you have a genuine copy of Windows registered to your computer. WGA consists of two components: an installable component called WGA Notifications that hooks into Winlogon and validates the Windows license upon each logon and an ActiveX control that checks the validity of the Windows license when downloading certain updates from the Microsoft Download Center or Windows Update.

WGA Notifications covers Windows XP, Windows Vista and also for latest OS Windows 7. If you don't have a genuine copy of windows, you will be notify pop up in the bottom-right of your screen:

Remove Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA)

1.Restart your computer and boot into safe mode (press F8 while you restart your computer)

2.Open Windows Explorer then browse to C:\Windows\System32\

3.Search for WgaTray.exe and Delete it. If you can’t delete this file, try this method, Ctrl+Alt+Del and

find WgaTray.exe and end task this program and then delete WgaTray.exe immediately

4.Click Start > RUN > Regedit then go to Go

to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify

and delete the WGA LOGON folder.

5.Reboot your computer. Done

WebP will Kill JPEG Image Format

Google officially introduced the new image format called WebP (pronounced "weppy"), in the end of September 2010.

WebP is a method of lossy compression that can be used on photographic images. The degree of compression is adjustable so a user cans choose the trade-offs between the file size and image quality.

A WebP file consists of VP8 image data, and a very lightweight containers based on RIFF. Webmasters, web developers and browser developers WebP cans use the format to create smaller, better-looking images cans that help make the web faster. While this container format contributes a minimal overhead of only 20 bytes per image, it is extensible to allow authors to save the meta-data they would like to store.

Images on the web consist primarily of lossy formats such as JPEG, and to a lesser extent lossless formats such as PNG and GIF. This kind of image format will contribute about 65% of bites from all content accessed through website.They can significantly slow down a user's web experience, especially on the bandwidth-constrained networks such as a mobile network

For these reason, WebP released. The new image format that promised to significantly reduce the byte size of photos on the web, allowing web sites to load faster than before. With this WebP compression format, resulted in an average 39% reduction in file size.

"While WebP images can not be viewed until browsers support the format, we are developing a patch for WebKit to provide native support for WebP in an upcoming release of Google Chrome. We plan to add support for a transparency layer, also known as alpha channel in a future update, "Google Product Manager, Richard Rabbat said.
