This blog The Gracious Pantry was recommended by a good friend who also happens to be a talented nutritionist! I fell in love with the philosophy, how the site is categorized, the writer/mom/cook Tiffany and how many simple clean recipes there are to choose from! Tonight I am attempting
Clean Eating Lemon Zucchini Chicken so I will post some images tomorrow!

Celebrating 30 Years Today!

This morning I asked myself the question, what did I do in my 20's??

It went by in a flash for sure but I'm looking forward to the next 10 years Lord willing and all the new adventures it holds!

Celebrating by dressing up to see the ballet tonight with my wonderful hubby in the city and a

fabulous dinner party with friends and family this weekend.

Could you ever pull off a hot pink sofa in your home?

This would make a really sexy bachelorette pad! Not only do I love the bold sofa color but the sheer draperies are awesome how the skinny panels are so light and airy.
It adds a nice softness to the room.

& why not mix your wardrobe with corals, pinks and reds for Valentines day this year.

I love the heart belt- it would make a good DIY project.

I've been so wrapped up with work lately I haven't blogged since the beginning of the month!

I can't wait to get to one of my favorite months of the year February as I turn the big 30!

In honor of February I will devote more time to blogging, spending QT with my hubby, finishing my favorite book "a thousand gifts", praying new prayers, finding new merchandise for etsy and getting my home organized! Happy Thursday...

Happy New Year!

As we reflect over the last year what special moments, events, goals come to your mind?

I am a little lost for resolutions this year so I am choosing to look at the new year in a different way.

Instead of listing out the usual get fit, spend more time with family, practice patience, read more, ect.. I am going to simply make a point to give gratitude for the blessings I have & pray for new things to bring about new experiences. That doesn't mean I don't have any goals set but instead of setting up a long list for failure I hope to just enjoy the moments of 2012 and what it brings!

Yummy & Easy Recipe For Holiday Cookies From Picky Palate...

Two Main Ingredients:
1. Hershey Kisses-Flavor of Choice
2. Pie Crust

I recommend buying a good gourmet pie crust! The cheap Dominicks pie crust was not that easy to use.
Next time I think I might even make my own crust..

Today I woke up at 7:30am sort of restless in thoughts which I am sure happens to most of us. I make coffee, feed my cat, slice a grapefruit and sit down to read this book that I just started called 1000 Gifts, A Dare to Live Right Where You Are. It's finding joy & thankfulness in all things God gives you and taking on the task of writing them down daily until you get to 1000! "Learning to be content with whatever you have whether it is full stomach or empty, with plenty or little."

So my challenge is to blog my thankfulness with a simple photo, quote, or a simple note. What a great month to start being Thanksgiving is just around the corner.
