You are not new to this
You have heard the voice. Maybe for years. Maybe for decades. It speaks at the kitchen sink. In the car at the red light. At three in the morning when you wake for no reason and cannot get back to sleep. It is small and persistent and it will not stop.
You have tried to satisfy it. You have taken the classes. You have sat in retreat centers and yoga studios. You have done therapy. You have read the books. You have watched the TED talks and felt seen for ten minutes.
And look, it has helped. You have come this far. But right now, you are just … tired. Jaded in the precise way of someone who has reached for the real thing again and again and not quite found it. And yet, the voice will not stop calling. And you have begun to suspect — though you have not said this out loud — that the call for more is a kind of torture, because it is not more you want. You want less.
Less noise. Less optimization. Less of this world’s trappings. You want quiet. Silence. Rest. Space and time to dream again.
If this is you, I hear you. I wrote this book for you—though, in many ways, I wrote it for myself. I have felt this way for so long, and I have tried all the things, searching for answers and relief. Then one day, I gave up. Strangely, that was when everything changed. I stopped aching and started listening. And that voice—the quiet one beneath all the noise—began to guide me.

Before she was a writer, she was a reader. For fifteen years she was Senior Features Editor at Woman's World, where she read tens of thousands of letters from people who had encountered angels, grace, and the inexplicable. She had risen there from the slush pile, ghost-writing a weekly column about angels for an audience of two million. That immersion changed her. What began as editing became witnessing. What began as witnessing became a vocation.
She is the author of My Guardian Angel (Hay House) and Sea of Miracles, and the creator of the Soul Call Cards — an oracle system she received through direct transmission. She teaches at her School of Sacred Words and Images on Substack where her method of image-reception helps students become aware of the images that we inhabit — and those that inhabit us.
She lives in New York with her husband Matthew, an architect.
