This is a note taking program that will be beneficial when you are at my classes to take type written notes as well as audio notes.

2. Dropbox
Dropbox is a cloud based storage system that you can store files from your laptop to your Dropbox then you can access your files from your Ipad or Iphone.

This is a check in app with lots of great marketing potential!

For Agents that use ZipformsOnline for their Contracts software only!
5. Download the Zipforms Mobile app. Be aware that your state or local association may have a discount code so please check with them to see first before purchasing.

For Agents that use Docusign.com for electronic signature!
6. Download the Docusign app and make sure you can log in using your Docusign password.

I highly recommend setting up a free gmail account as well for different Google Apps tools that you may use as an agent. If you currently have one that you are using for business, you may want to have a separate one for other social Media apps.

STEP 2-
Create free accounts on your laptop or Iphone/Ipad device before coming to the session.

STEP 3-
Play with the apps to get a familiarity with them before coming to the session. It should help you feel more comfortable with the other apps covered in the sessions.

So, I am not a runner, but I have these aspirations to become one like some of my good friends. In the past couple of years, I have tried different running apps to get me motivated. So far, this is my favorite b/c it is simple to work, my music list can play inside the app and it has voice commands telling me when to walk & run!!!

I will keep ypu posted as I progress!!

Great app for real estate agent or a consumer wanting to know what there payments will be. I use this app a lot and have quite a few of my lender friends that use this as well!!!

Do you have the disease I have? It’s called CRS??? Can’t Remember Stuff disease!!! I can’t remember what I wore yesterday much less all the passwords, frequent flyer mileage and kids school ID stuff! Plus the older I get, the worse it is!!!! So Splash ID to the rescue! One password to open it up and then I can store login’s & passwords inside of it. It is also cloud based, so when I input something on my desktop it automatically syncs to the app on my Iphone and Ipad.

I have a lot of people question me on how secure it is. My answer, security comfort is different for everyone. I prefer it here b/c I have lost my journal notebooks with my passwords in it before (not very secure for me)-so basically do what you feel comfortable with in the long run!

Evernote is a cloud based note taking system that I use on a regular basis. So if I take notes on evernote.com on my laptop, then if I want to reference that note later and I just have my Ipad with me- no problem at all. All I have do is open the Evernote App on my Ipad, search for the note & voila’ it is there. It is like magic! Evernote function allows me to type my notes, take a photo or record audio inside ONE note- How awesome is this???

I bet you are sitting there saying, “Hmmmmmm, Amy so how would I use it in Real estate?” or maybe you are saying “So what?”

Here are some ideas I have used to maybe ignite your brain neurons-
1)If you are in a CE class or a real estate technology class, use evernote to take notes on your Ipad. Then if you want to record what the speaker is saying or take a photo of the slide that is on the screen, you can do it all inside that note.
2) Or you can use it when you are out showing to take notes on the property that you are showing. Then at the end of the day, you can copy your text and use it for your feedback.
OR you can give an extra Ipad to your clients to let them take notes on it while they are the viewing the properties, then at the end of the day you can email the notes to them for their review.

There are other uses, like typing your blog on it…But start playing with it because I bet you will love the note taking capabilties of Evernote.

This app is a check in app much like Facebook Places. So if I am at Walgreens, then I check in on Foursquare app. I can choose at that time to push it to my Facebook and Twitter accounts as well or just to my Foursquare friends. Foursquare is open to the public, so whatever I post on there can be seen by anyone on Foursquare. Practice safety!! I use it as a marketing tool on listiings, get coupons on there from participating retailers like Bath and Body Works, Victoria’s Secret, Walgreens, Payless, & Chili’s, plus I use it as a way to see where my friends are when I am at real estate conferences. It is also a prospecting tool! Try it out! But remember, Foursquare limits you to 1000 friends!
