Ok, dads.  I think they’re gone.

I have a few things to bring to your attention, so I’ll make it short, sweet, and to-the-point (writing in my best “man-style” here)

We recently did some pictures out at the Naperville Riverwalk, which is a totally beautiful place for family portraits.  They brought their wonderful chocolate lab, which made things extra fun!  Have I ever mentioned here on the blog just how much I love it when people bring their pets?  I mean… I LOVE it!!!  Pets are, in my opinion, a total part of the family, and they’re welcome to come along to the studio or any outdoor spot, as long as the site ok’s it. : )  If you ever want to bring your sweet dog along, just shoot us off an e-mail so we can be sure to pick a spot that’s puppy-friendly!

One thing that tickled me pink was that this girl’s feet rarely touched the ground.  She was like a little toddler-fairy… flitting and flying almost everywhere she went.  And she had GREAT feet!

Capturing families is magical to me.  Sometimes when I’m capturing moments like these, I feel like I’m watching one of those movies where everything turns out just as it should, and you walk away feeling like all is right with the world…

This family was that kind of movie. : )
