Another Monday after AnalyticsCamp, and what do you do? It's a long wait until we meet again, so here are some ideas to help make the most of this year's event:

Follow up with the people you met.

Write that blog post that you thought of during a session.

Look up the interesting tools you heard about for the first time.

Check out the blog coverage and presentations from the event (also listed at AnalyticsCamp.org).

Visit our sponsors' web sites: Atlantic BT and TIMA.

Subscribe to AnalyticsCamp updates in your reader or by email to be the first to know about our next event.

Attend some of the analytics-related meetups that happen more frequently than AnalyticsCamp.

Join the AnalyticsCamp groups on Facebook and LinkedIn.

Use the learning resources, including free, web-based classes starting this month.

Add something to the wiki (tools, meetups, learning resources) to make it a better resource.
We need a few more volunteers for next year's event. If you'd like to help, please contact Nathan or I-Kong, or leave a comment here. We'll start working on next year's event in late 2012.

Mark your calendars: AnalyticsCamp 2012 will be held February 25, 2012 at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School in Chapel Hill, NC.

AnalyticsCamp is a free day of networking and learning for folks interested in any kind of analytics—web, email, social media, marketing. enterprise BI, Big Data, you name it. The general idea is to attract a mix of different analytics specialties and stir.

<s>Registration will open in early January</s>. For now, we'd like you to think about what you want to see at this year's camp and start planning session topics. For ideas, you might look at previous years' sessions (2010, 2011) and proposals (2010, 2011). Anyone can invite an expert, if there's somebody you'd particularly like to hear from.

This year, we won't be competing with the ACC Tournament, so you'll need a better excuse if you plan to miss out.

Registration is now open.

A few weeks before this year's event, we're starting another list: resources for learning analytics. In true wiki style, both lists would benefit from your contribution. Won't you share your favorites with us (you'll need a free wikidot account)?

AnalyticsCamp 2011 is March 12 in Chapel Hill. Almost 175 people have registered, but we have plenty of room for more. Take a look at these topics— don't you want to sign up today?

We're close to an announcement for Dallas.

We're working on venues for New York, Boston, and Washington.

We just got a likely organizer for London.

And we're looking for organizers on the West Coast and in Chicago. Want to help?

Announcements to follow as soon as dates and locations are confirmed.
