They are about 400-500 year old. The paintings depicts scenes from ancient epics Ramayana and Mahabharata. Scenes from the life of Lord Ram (the chief deity of Orcha. See Ram Raja mandir) and scenes from Vrindavan’s Lord Krishna are a vibrant display in the palace interiors.
