First of all, I wish I could understand fantasy football more, but it seems to me this has become an obsession for men all over the world. What a great idea for the NFL because it creates such a hype around teams that normally some viewers would never care about. During the fantasy draft, all of the people playing against each other get together at a lake, beach or mountain house close by and literally pick the players for their fantasy team. The way my boyfriend described the getaway to me was “a man’s perfect weekend”. I guess there are some things us women will never understand!

My mouth is so numb and tingling right now, I feel like a million ants just bit my lips and tongue. I just had my dental appointment, I had filling and deep cleaning. My doctor said I will be feeling like this for like an hour or two. My son and I were supposed to go to Houston tonight but I guess that will not happen. I cannot eat anything for 24 hours, all I can have is soup :-(

Anyway, I am glad this is already over,next time on the list are extraction and braces. Geesh, thank God for insurance!

It's been raining here in Killeen since this morning. I was planning on going to the store but I've decided to do it tomorrow if it will not rain. My son and I went to the drug store just to get his cough and cold medicine. On our way home, I was really having a hard time seeing the road, it was so foggy and it's raining so hard.

Asleep For 12 Hours

I was not really feeling well when I got out from work yesterday. I had my dental appointment after I picked up my son from school. When I was done with my dental appointment, I've decided to just order some food for dinner. My son and I had our early dinner and I went to bed straight. I woke up this morning around 7 o'clock and realized that I just woke up from a 12-hour sleep.

I really hate it when I don't feel good. I am well-rested but I still have a headache and my eyes hurt so bad. I hope I will feel better today or else I will be in bed the whole time again.

Being in a long distance relationship is not really easy. I was browsing in facebook when I bumped into this post. I wanted to share it to you all, I hope you like it.

How to keep a long distance relationship going?

One of the toughest relationships to be is in a long distance relationship. In a sense, it is a kind of painful because the two lovers cannot be there for each other physically when one needs the other. However, it is also fulfilling when the partners finally get to spend some time with each other. It isn't as frequent as the time spent together by those involved in non-long distance relationship, but as they say, "absence make the heart grown fonder". Every moment spent together is special for those involved in a long distance relationship, and that somehow makes up for the difficulty of arrangement.

Indeed, it is difficult to be involved in a long distance relationship. You seem under a cloud of uncertainty, since you don't know what the other is doing and what things he/she is facing. There are also a lot of temptations closer to home when you are in a long distance relationship. I you are involved in one, how can you keep the flame going in a long distance relationship? Here are some things that you might want to keep in mind for they might be useful for you, even if you're not involved in such relationship at the moment.

KEEP THE FAITH
First and foremost, keep the faith in each other. You need to have trust in order for the relationship to be strong, because without trust, you two can easily get into situation where the relationship is threatened and, often times, break under the pressure.

KEEP IN TOUCH
Communication is an essential component of a long distance relationship. Without communication, you wouldn't be able to talk to each other and know what each other thinking at the moment and what problems your partner maybe facing. That way, even if you're not physically there for your partner, at least you can be more understanding of his/her situation if something comes up. That comes close to comforting your partner physically, though we can all agree that the real thing is better.

VALUE EACH OTHER
The third, but definitely not the least, you should learn to value each other. Distance is a very difficult barrier to overcome, and if you don't value each other, your relationship is bound to fail even at the start of your affair. If you don't value each other, you are bound to abuse trust of the other and engage some undesirable behavior while your partner is away from you. So value each other, value your relationship, and you can keep the relationship strong despite the difficulties that are bound to come your way as part of your long distance relationship.

Thanksgiving day is just a day away. Let us all be thankful that we don't already have everything we desire because if we did, what would there be to look forward to? Let us be thankful for our limitations, because they give us opportunities for improvement. Let us be thankful for each new challenge, because it will build our strength and character. Let us be thankful for our mistakes, they will teach us valuable lessons. Let us be thankful when we are tired and weary, it means we've made a difference.

It's easy to be thankful for the good things, A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are also thankful for the setbacks. Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive, all we have to do is to find a way to be thankful for our troubles and they can become our blessings.

I am so thankful for all the Blessings that God has given me and my family. I am very grateful for my family and friends who are always there for me and my family no matter what. Today, we served a thanksgiving lunch at work. We served turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, green beans, cornbread dressing, pumpkin pie, mixed fruits and rolls. Thank God there were soldiers who helped us prepared all the food and also served them to the kids, teachers and some parents.

I am really tired right now but I am happy to be serving those kids, it feels so good seeing their happy and excited faces when they saw the foods we were serving.

Being an army wife is not easy, I think it is the hardest job in the world. It is true that an Army Wife fights the first battle when she kisses her husband goodbye.
