hello my dearests friends :) as promised here is a little tour from my photographic adventure last weekend. we had a springish day (the next day it was rainy and windy, so we were blessed by the weather). I took 187 photos and my mother took 633.. sigh.. I wasn't inspired and the great outdoors don't speak to me like a garden does. but I love the company of everyone in the group, they make me laugh and bearable waking up at 07am to catch the light of the sunrise (although I only shot the sunset). hope to see you soon. xxo

I miss my blog world but I'm not into it right now. sorry. these photos aren't mine, I lended my camera to my niece and cousins at my sister's birthday party this afternoon. these two are some of my favorites. and when I've pretty things to share I think of you. in February we're going on another photographic tour and I hope to return to my hobbie with passion and give you news from it. meanwhile I leave you with these two gorgeous teenagers. my niece on the first shot and sending a kiss on the second.. xxo

I've got one happy news to share with you.. I've been dreaming with an iPhone since ever because I wanted to be a part of the instagram world. the good news is I got an iPad from my father this Xmas and only yesterday I decided to set it up (to you see how excited I've been about the season) and I discover I can have an instagram account with my iPad as well. I was thrilled. I don't need the iPhone! my dream is accomplished! lol :) now I've to spend some time getting used to my new gadget. xxo

I miss speaking with you, dearests! this year I decided to adopt one word: HOPE. I ordered this bracelet on Etsy, comes from China, it will probably arrive by the end of the month. I intend to use it as a reminder, to make me think about my choice. this year I found hard to feel the Christmas spirit. I've been knitting to keep my mind busy and distracted, it's a good thing. forgive my absence, I've also been sleeping a lot. today I woke up at 4:30pm. and I'm lacking inspiration to blog as usual. I feel sad no one buy from my shops. don't know what else to do. I'm spending money on publicity. and I really need to have something to keep me busy and dreaming of a better income each month. I'm open to suggestions how to make my work more visible. love you.. xxo

knitting brought me back the memory of my grandmother and the Christmas spirit woke up in me. finally! I'm lefty and so far my grandma was the only person able to teach me knitting and crochet because I work from left to right and she was a master :) today I knitted a couple of hours in the evening, spent the afternoon shopping. but when I was half way I realized I've to do the opposite of the pattern instructions. but I'm thrilled, instead of a photo, my Christmas gift this year will be something knitted by me. something fun. I promise I'll share it here when it's done. xxo

disenchanted. sleepy. numb. sad. that's me, I can say this time of year because last year was the same. I've been in bed. not necessarily sleeping, just feeling comfy and with the fluffy cats around me. with no heart for anything else. my mother is angry at me but this is not me being lazy I actually feel I'm in a dark cloud. makes it hard to leave my bed. nevertheless today I woke up at 08am and went out. been to the Health Center, the pharmacy and the supermarket. also took the freedom of eating my breakfast out. now I'm broke. but I'm happy I caught the moon so well at sunset. hope you had a blast of a weekend :) xxo

finally a good recipe..

since I don't know much of anything, it's always great when I find a recipe I like. as this one. is a photo from Porto downtown taken last October. there are so many buildings and so many colours that it was noisy! I usually don't like my black and whites but this one I love. I was shooting the seagull with my 50mm and I'm glad I did because we can see all the houses around it. like an ancient postcard! from me to you :) xxo
