There was a time when my brain constantly felt overloaded.

Ideas everywhere.

Sticky notes on the kitchen counter.
Random notebooks filled with half-finished plans.
Voice notes at red lights.
Google Docs with titles like “business ideas FINAL final v2.”
Content ideas hitting me at 2 AM when I was trying to sleep.

As a woman entrepreneur, mom, creator, and visionary, I felt like I was mentally carrying my entire business all the time.

I wasn’t just the work that was killing me, but the remembering, the planning, the organizing, the decision-making and the constant pressure of having to figure everything out on my own.

IT WAS FREAKIN’ EXHAUSTING!!!

And eventually, that kind level of mental clutter turns into overwhelm.

Not because you aren’t capable. Not because you aren’t intelligent. But because your brain wasn’t built to function as your full-time business operating system.

That’s one of the reasons planning became so important to me long before AI entered the picture.

Over time, my personal planning sheets evolved into much more than just a planner; they turned into what would eventually become HER Profit Planner, aka my business operating system.

And now that AI has entered the chat, tools like ChatGPT and Claude.ai have completely changed the way I execute those plans.

Now, let me be clear. AI didn’t replace my creativity or suddenly make everything easy, but what it did do was help me implement my goals and vision faster. The planner gives me the direction I needed, and AI helps me organize, simplify, and execute the vision more efficiently.

So together, it really feels like having an executive assistant helping me run my business.

Instead of asking random questions, AI can now understand the bigger picture of my business. It understands what I’m trying to build, where my focus is, and the systems I’m trying to create. That context dramatically improves the quality of the responses and recommendations.

One of my favorite ways to use AI is for simplifying my focus. I think one of the biggest causes of overwhelm for women entrepreneurs is trying to focus on too many things at once. Too many ideas, too many offers, too many unfinished thoughts, and too many directions competing for attention all at the same time.

So instead of trying to mentally organize everything myself, I let AI help me identify the priorities that actually matter most in the current season of business.

For example, I’ll upload my planner and ask AI to help me identify my top three priorities based on my business goals, audience growth plans, income goals, and lifestyle goals.

I also use AI to help me create realistic schedules based on my actual life.

This has been one of the biggest mindset shifts in my business because I stopped trying to build around hustle culture and started building around capacity. Instead of creating unrealistic schedules that leave me exhausted, I now ask AI to help me create workweeks that prioritize income-producing activities while still leaving room for flexibility, family, and rest.

That shift alone has changed how I experience entrepreneurship.

AI has also become an incredibly helpful content creation partner, but probably not in the way most people think. I don’t use AI to randomly generate generic content ideas. I use it strategically. The planner gives AI context about my goals, audience, messaging, and business direction, which makes the content outputs far more thoughtful and aligned.

Instead of staring at blank pages trying to come up with content every day, I can ask AI to generate Threads ideas, email concepts, lead magnets, captions, or blog topics based on the goals already mapped out inside my planner. That combination creates stronger messaging and a much more sustainable content workflow overall.

One of my favorite uses for AI, though, is roadmap creation.

There’s something incredibly powerful about being able to take ideas that once lived only in your head and turn them into actionable plans. AI helps me organize goals into step-by-step implementation strategies, whether that’s a 90-day roadmap, a launch timeline, an audience growth strategy, or a content system.

And honestly, I think this is where a lot of women get stuck. Not because they lack ambition or intelligence, but because they lack structure. They have the vision, but no roadmap to help them execute consistently.

That’s what makes the combination of intentional planning and AI support so powerful.

Planning used to stop at ideas.

Now AI helps bridge the gap between ideas and implementation.

There’s something you do so naturally, you probably don’t even recognize it as valuable.

It could be the way you plan your family vacations with ease, how you help your friends organize their closets, how you meal prep like a pro, or how you’ve mastered Canva without ever taking a design class.

Let me tell you something: That thing you do effortlessly? It’s your magic. And it can be monetized.

There was a moment—one I remember vividly—when I sat on the edge of my bed, laptop open, tears brimming, and exhaustion settling deep in my bones. I had done everything “right.” Got the degree. Got the job. Became the wife. Became the mom. And yet… I was drowning.

For me, that meant creating digital products, building a brand online, automating my sales, and shifting from being constantly “on” to working in flow.

My First Passive Income Stream (The Baby That Changed Everything)

My first passive income stream wasn’t perfect—it was an eBook. A simple guide based on what I already knew. I packaged my expertise, put it on my website, and promoted it on Pinterest and Facebook.

The first sale came in at 3 a.m.
I remember the alert on my phone.
$17.

That $17 felt like a million dollars.
Because it wasn’t about the money—it was about the possibility.

It was proof that I could make income without sacrificing time with my baby (the whole reason I turned to creating passive income from home) or burning the candle at both ends.

As I started building more passive income streams—mini courses, membership content, low-ticket offers—I began reclaiming my time.

I set boundaries:

No more late-night client calls.

No more working every weekend.

No more saying yes when I meant no.

I created systems:

A feel-good social media strategy focuses on authenticity, connection, and sustainability—allowing you to show up online in a way that aligns with your purpose, values, and well-being. In this post, we’ll dive into how to create a strategy that feels good for both you and your audience.

But let’s address the elephant in the room: social media can be toxic. Entrepreneurs, especially women entrepreneurs, often feel immense pressure to keep up with trends, churn out content, and project a perfect image to stand out in a crowded digital space. The constant comparison to others—whether it’s their success, aesthetic, or follower count—can be mentally exhausting and lead to self-doubt. Many women feel like they need to portray themselves as having it all together 24/7 to be seen, heard, and respected in their industries.

This pressure can significantly impact the growth and success of a business. When you’re constantly trying to “perform” instead of showing up authentically, you risk burnout, losing touch with your purpose, and even alienating your audience. That’s why leaning into a feel-good social media strategy is so important. Not only does it help you create content from a place of joy and alignment, but it also builds trust with your audience, paving the way for sustainable, long-term success.

As you focus on what you want to get out of your social media presence, and maybe even more importantly, how you want it to make you feel, it is also imperative that you are conscious of the connections you want to make.

Social media is about people, not perfection. And if you really want social media to work for you it requires you to show up as your authentic self in order to build real connections.

So, how do we do this?

Share your humanity: People are drawn to authenticity. Share behind-the-scenes moments, personal stories, and challenges that show the human side of your business. This vulnerability creates a sense of trust and relatability.

Engage meaningfully: Go beyond posting and start conversations. Prioritize comments, direct messages (DMs), and genuine interactions. Take the time to ask your audience questions, respond thoughtfully to their feedback, and thank them for their support.

Shift your focus from metrics to relationships: Instead of obsessing over likes and follower counts, focus on building strong, loyal relationships. A smaller, engaged audience can be more impactful than a large, disengaged one.

Feel-Good Tip: Create a weekly “connection ritual” to stay consistent in building relationships. Dedicate 30 minutes every week to activities like responding to DMs, leaving meaningful comments on posts, or sharing posts from others in your community.

For example, you could spend Mondays sending three direct messages to followers who consistently engage with your content, thanking them for their support and asking how you can help them. This small but intentional act can strengthen your community and make you feel more connected to your audience.

Your content should reflect your values and make you proud to share it.

Ask yourself: Does this content inspire, educate, or entertain my audience? Does it feel like me? Authentic content doesn’t need to fit into trends—it needs to resonate with you and your audience.

Use the Viral Content Framework: The Viral Content Framework focuses on creating content that your audience feels compelled to share. This doesn’t mean chasing virality for the sake of it; instead, it’s about crafting content that is relatable, valuable, and shareable.

For example, if you’re a coach helping entrepreneurs manage burnout, create a relatable pillar blog post about “5 Signs You’re Overworking (and What to Do About It).” Turn that post into 25 smaller pieces of content you can promote across different platforms (email, social, video, etc). End each piece of content with a call to action like, “Share this with someone who needs this reminder” or “Want to get my Banish Burnout Guide? Click the link in my bio.”

Repurpose content that already works: Review your analytics and identify posts that performed well. Repurpose them into new formats (e.g., turn a high-performing tweet into an Instagram infographic or an email newsletter).

Mix in content that fills your cup: Whether it’s sharing inspirational quotes, your favorite books, or moments of joy from your day-to-day life, make space for content that genuinely excites you. Passion is contagious and will naturally draw your audience closer.

You don’t have to post every day to stay relevant. Instead, find a rhythm that works for you and feels sustainable. This means:

• Using a content batching system to plan ahead.
• Choosing 1–2 platforms to focus on rather than spreading yourself thin across every app.
• Setting realistic posting schedules that align with your life, not someone else’s algorithm-driven advice.

Once you have a realistic posting schedule mapped out, make sure you are incorporating content that feels good to your audience.

Think about what makes your audience feel good. This could mean creating uplifting posts, solving their problems, or sharing relatable stories.

Not sure what you audience wants?

Burnout is real, especially if you’re on every platform all the time. Protecting your peace means creating boundaries that allow you to engage with social media on your terms. Setting boundaries ensures that your social media strategy enhances your life and business rather than controlling it. By prioritizing your mental and emotional well-being, you can show up more authentically and effectively.

Here’s how:

Limit your social media time: Schedule designated blocks of time for posting and engaging with your audience. Use tools like alarms or apps to help you avoid getting sucked into endless scrolling.

Schedule your posts in advance: Tools like Tailwind, Buffer, and Planoly can help you plan and schedule your content so you don’t have to be online daily. This gives you more freedom to focus on other parts of your business.

Establish “no social media” zones: Define periods during your day or week when you completely unplug from social media. For example, commit to no scrolling after 8 PM or designate Sundays as a no-social-media day. These breaks will help you recharge and prevent burnout.

Unfollow and mute strategically: Be intentional about the accounts you follow. Unfollow or mute content that makes you feel inadequate or drained. Curate your feed so that it inspires, motivates, and aligns with your goals.

Communicate boundaries to your audience: If you’re stepping back from constant posting or limiting DMs, let your audience know. Transparency builds trust and sets realistic expectations for interaction.

Engage with purpose: When you log onto social media, have a plan. Decide whether you’re there to reply to comments, post content, or research trends. Stick to your purpose and log off when you’re done.

Feel-good strategies often mean working smarter. Let technology handle the repetitive tasks so you can focus on what matters most: creating meaningful content and engaging with your audience. Below are examples of how automation tools can transform your workflow:

There are so many ways to make money online, that there really shouldn’t be any excuse as to why you can’t figure out a way that works for you. I get it, maybe you don’t know what to do or how to get started (thank God you’re here) but maybe you’ve just been dragging your feet, overcomplicating things or watching everyone else on Beyonce’s internet get after it while you stay stuck in your “well maybe I should try that” mode.

Making money online doesn’t have to be hard. It’s not complex or something that requires luck. But what you can’t do, if you want to make a living selling your knowledge online is NOT TAKE ANY ACTION!

So, the skinny of it all is that you need 5 things to start earning an income online:

• A good offer (aka product or service)
• A community of people (attention and awareness)
• A landing page (to show the solution)
• A way to accept payment (so you can get paid)
• A way to deliver your product or service

So with that understood, let’s tackle the “good offer” part first!

1. Offer Your Skill as a Service

Got a skill? Great. Let’s monetize it. Whether you’re a wordsmith, spreadsheet wizard, or Canva queen, there’s someone out there who needs what you’ve got.

Examples:

• Write ad copy for businesses
• Ghostwrite blogs for a small business
• Manage social media accounts

Pro Tips:

• Optimize your LinkedIn or Instagram bio to make it obvious what you offer.
• Start with friends or local businesses to build your cred.

Airtable

I love, love, love Airtable! I use Airtable to stay organized, create custom databases, and as a framework for many of the digital products I create. For example, I have multiple dashboards that I sell as templates. I also use Airtable bases to organize our testimonials, to prep and brainstorm content, and more. It’s super versatile and I love the user experience.

Deadline Funnel 

We’ve used Deadline Funnel to create authentic countdown timers for our pages, emails and promotions. For example, if we have a live launch cart open happening, we’ll make sure there is a Deadline Funnel countdown timer on the page to let people know when the doors close. This tool can also be used to create authentic timers in evergreen funnels.
