How to Use Incentives to Get Extra Sales

By <a href="How to Use Incentives to Get Extra Sales By Jimmy D. Brown of iBusiness Owner The vast majority of your prospects aren’t all that passionate about your offer. Truth is, they’re kind of lukewarm. They’re interested, but they’re not taking their credit card out. Instead of making a buying decision, they decide to “think about it.” Of course you know what happens: They forget about your offer. They don’t return to your store or sales page. Some of them may even make the conscious decision to NOT buy your product. So what can you do to get your prospects to get excited and take action NOW? Simple: Offer them an incentive if they order now. Do it right, and you’re virtually guaranteed to make more sales! Generally, an incentive can take two forms: 1. You offer a discount. One idea is the straightforward discount, such as offering a percent-off. Another ideas is to offer a discount on the overall package, such as by offering free shipping. Tip: You can even make it a limited-time discount so that your prospects feel a sense of urgency. 2. You offer one or more bonus products. Again, you can even make the bonus offer limited to increase the sense of urgency. Offering a discount is a pretty straightforward incentive. So let’s talk about how to offer a bonus as a buying incentive. Here then are the seven keys to offering bonuses that generate extra sales: • Make sure the bonus is desirable. Point is, if your prospects don’t care about the bonus product, then it won’t help you generate any sales. So make sure it’s something that your prospects already want. Something that gets them excited! • Create a valuable bonus. Just because you’re giving the product away for free with a purchase doesn’t mean this bonus should be worth little to no money. Quite the contrary – it should have a high perceived value in the prospect’s mind. • Choose bonuses that are easy to deliver. This is particularly true if you’re selling downloadable products online, such as software or information. Point is, you want to be able to deliver the bonus instantly – right alongside the main product – without you having to manually deliver the bonus. • Supply an exclusive bonus, whenever possible. If the prospect can get the bonus somewhere else, he might just do that. So try to offer exclusive bonuses to help make the buying decision easy. • Offer a bonus that compliments the main product. For example, let’s say you’re selling a book about retirement planning. Offering retirement-planning worksheets and software as a bonus would be a great incentive. • Sell the bonus. If you’re selling via a sales page, don’t just list the bonus. Instead, sell it just the way you’re selling the main product, meaning you should list the benefits of this bonus product or service. • Remember that you can offer products OR services. Let’s say you’re selling exterior landscaping supplies and information. As a bonus you can offer a free consultation where you provide specific landscaping ideas for buyers. Or if you’re selling a copywriting product, you can offer a sales letter critique. Conclusion Offering an incentive is a simple, yet highly effective way to generate more sales and grow your business.

There’s this mistake that people who join a company as a rep or consultant make … and this same mistake is made by affiliates who choose one product to sell.

And they all make it pretty consistently.

In their minds they lead themselves to believe that their opportunity = their business.

W-R-O-N-G

How many times have you heard people say “my Avon business this”, “my Talk Fusion business” or my “Mary Kay business that”

“I’m building my Melaleuca, MLSP, Body by Vi, Pre-paid Legal (or whatever they’ve reinvented themselves as … Legalzoom? lol), Amway, Empower Network, Net Divvy,7 Figure Networker, Numis, Usana, Mia Bella, MyVideoTalk, Scentsy, Vitamark, Send Out Cards, Market America, Arbonne, MPBToday, Shaklee, Beachbody, Monavie, insert your company here business.”

OMG the list goes on and on, doesn’t it??

And to be honest – it’s really not our fault.

The companies themselves promote their distributorships and IBO relationships this way. I mean they say it out loud …

“Start your ___________ business today!”

I bet that’s on just about every direct selling, Network Marketing, MLM and Marketing system’s website … encouraging you to hop on board and “join the team”.

But here’s the problem.

Those companies aren’t actually the “business” of anyone except those on the corporate team.

They pay us commissions. As Independent contractors.

But the business itself is not ours.

Let me show you what I mean…

Do you own stock as a major shareholder?

Can you make business decisions for that company?

IF they let you trademark/register a business name with their name in it – THAT business would be yours.

But they’re not about to allow that, right?

And your business would still not be THE business …

…I mean you wouldn’t have bank account access or anything.

See what I mean?
These business associations are income centers (or at least that’s the idea – whether you ever get into profit and why so many never do is another topic for another day) but they are NOT our business.

So how can we shift our minds and out brands to a place where we can leverage the good stuff that the company has to offer (typically this is mostly about the product line – and also the pay plan … ideally excellence on both fronts is what you’ve aligned yourself with) …

But yet establish a real business for ourselves. One that we can build up over time without the fear of any outside entity having a say about how we develop our own asset?

Well the answer is pretty simple.

And I’ll reveal that in a minute (if you haven’t already guessed at the punchline – grin) …

But first, I want to share something that I wrote and posted on my very first blog (a blogger blog :-o!) way back in 2005.

You’ll see nothing has changed. Except *maybe* I’m a better writer these days ;-)

On Becoming the ‘GoTo’ Guy

==> (if you want to see the original post it’s here – lol)

Become the ‘GoTo’ Guy [or gal]

For years we’ve been taught to identify ourselves as reps for one XYZ company or another.

We have our fancy business cards printed, some letterhead, maybe an address stamp.

We use the company logo and replicated websites as points of first impression.

We market ourselves as being associated with that company with abandon … heck, we even have the T-shirts to prove it!

Sounds okay on the surface, right?

Not right.

Think Like the CEO That You Are

Dedicating your personal image might be okay (or even required!) when you’re on salary with some company. After all, when you trade your time for money, they do get to call the shots when you’re on the clock, don’t they.

Sometimes a job can even have a say in how you’re dressing or acting in your off hours … all too common.

But what I don’t get is why people, who join Network Marketing companies as independent distributors, feel the need to associate their very being as an XYZ distributor.

Why the rush to be labeled as a part of that company?!
Are we not CEOs and chief bottle washers of our own businesses?

If you think about it, it’s really only to the company’s benefit for you to parade around in company promotional garb and paying for your own ‘official’ business documents to be printed.

Learn to Brand Yourself

Become the ‘GoTo’ guy for your chosen product or service type.

Promote an image of expertise in a field rather than just another distributor among many.

Don’t marry yourself to any one company … leave your options open.

Make every marketing effort that you put forth something that you can benefit from for a lifetime.

By branding yourself, you build that needed ‘know, like and trust’ that makes sales easiest. You become associated in the minds of the people you are working with as THE person to go to when they’re wanting what you’ve got.

To your success!
Andrea

See what I mean? I’ve been preaching this stuff for a mighty long time :)

So of course the answer is – over time – develop your own brand identity.

BE the Independent Business Owner … the free agent … the focused action taker … the problem see-er AND the problem solver … the outside of the box thinker and collaborator.

Continuously train and tone your Entrepreneurial mind and muscles – THIS is what will allow you to build an asset for YOU. One that will afford you every possible luxury and want in your life and lifestyle if you do it right.

Will you be successful? How long will it take?

Hard to say.

It’s really up to you. And the actions you take. Who you listen to and let yourself be influenced by.

But I do know one thing, once you decide to wear that hat and you commit to it – gladly embracing whatever personal development and skill building is required to get there…. and connecting with mentors, coaches and mastermind groups along the way (this is critical)…

You’ll get there.

No worries ;-)

I appreciate you!
Andrea

Create Your Own Products or Promote Someone Else’s?

So … the top of mind decision for each and every marketer to make every morning – regardless of experience – is this.

What will I promote today?

And by promote I mean actively get offers out to people …

… not yack it up on Facebook (though offers *can* be made and closed there quite consistently when done correctly)

… not fiddle fart around with your blog design …

… not agonize over some tech thingy for hours (that can easily be resolved via your Mastermind Partners collective brain)

I mean promote, sell, grace the people whom your offer will help.

-> Selling isn’t a bad thing … when you become a master matchmaker.

-> Spending isn’t a bad thing when it’s got some thoughtful intention behind it … even if you only take one small nugget away from a training…

…so long as you recognize it (it IS easy to overlook or disregard the little things that impact us sometimes)

… AND put the gems into action.

Leverage – the only way to scale (and stay sane)

Even better, the cool part is this:

Once you know what those actions are … and you get consistent with them … it’s very possible to begin to spread the work around.

In fact you should look to leverage (in a win/win way of course) the efforts of others.

Whether in the form of JV partnerships, affiliates, virtual assistants … so long as everyone is moving forward, the synergy of collaboration and partnership level relationships has the possibility of being far more than each person acting independently.

Can be so for the duration of a project…

Or can morph into a long term relationship that works for all concerned.

It’s all good.

So I say all this to kinda set the stage for the question – “what should I promote today”

Lately there’s a trend towards “develop your own product” … and here are the basic reasons this is a great way to go:

you have total control over your money

you get paid immediately

you have final say about what your customers are exposed to

you brand yourself rather than someone else

But here’s why I think that’s a mistake if you choose that path and only that path.

You don’t have the leverage factor in your favor when it comes time to do the marketing.

Plus if the learning begins and ends with you … and that’s a pretty narrow view of the world and what’s possible, wouldn’t ‘ya say?

Napolean Hill Said it Best …

So how do you get connected with people who could be a good match for helping you to promote your own stuff?

Well, it’s like anything else -

“The quickest way to get what you want is to help other people get what they want”

And this is no different …

THE quickest way to the front of mind for anyone you want better access to is to become an affiliate (for their product) and help them make sales.

There’s no guarantee that they’ll return the favor and promote something that you develop … it’s not typically so direct as that.

But what being a top affiliate does do is give you results-based evidence that you know what you’re doing.

Social proof.

And confidence … posture …

Plus it gives you the audience with people who are doing big things that you need to see things more from the inside than you ever would as a straight customer.

(and YES you also want to own that product so you can talk about it authentically)

Being an effective affiliate puts you on the map.

All sorts of interesting opportunities will begin coming your way.

Including being able to better network to promote your own products and services.

It takes a bit of both.

That’s been my experience anyway ;-)

Here’s What’s Working for Me

I’m an affiliate, I’m a product creator, I even License a product line from an up and coming marketer (new project details to come).

In the end, it’s the relationships that we build that have the most impact.

Both creatively and financially.

Keep your eyes peeled for opportunities to both create products and also promote quality content that you can profit from – they’re all around you.

Wishing you every success,

Andrea

PS. Here’s one of the best examples of products you can leverage (and have the full commissions deposited directly into your paypal or merchant account) that I’ve seen in a very long time.

And you don’t even have to pay the $2388 license fee that I just did for the other product line I just added (kinda makes me wonder why I did that lol)

Affiliate marketing basics … what sort of ‘stuff’ do we really need to know when it comes to affiliate marketing?

One of the things I have people ask me all the time is “does affiliate marketing work?”

(often these are the same people who come back a week later and say “this stuff doesn’t work” … lol … but that’s a different post altogether … about mindset)

Today I’m here to tell you YES affiliate marketing does work… and yes you do need to understand (and implement) the basics in order to have that be true for you too.

As you may already know, I joined Empower Network about a month ago.

I can’t recommend it highly enough IF you want to begin learning the art of content creation and the basics of affiliate marketing.

(oh yeah – the affiliate program is nothing to sneeze at either – [hint: not all affiliate programs are created equal])

David’s got it all right as far as what needs to happen daily in order to develop a sustainable affiliate marketing business.

His 8 Core Commitments see to that.

There’s no better way to get that “toe-hold” going when you’re a newbie.

Here’s how most people think of affiliate marketing – in a nutshell :

you choose a product (that someone else made)

you promote that product (you send traffic to an offer)

the offer converts and you get paid (sales happen)

And years ago, when the Internet was a far less savvy place with far less savvy customers on it – sending traffic directly to an affiliate offer was a viable business model.

Not anymore.

I don’t care if it’s an affiliate product through Amazon or Clickbank that you’re promoting or if it’s a link to a direct selling company’s website that you’re an rep/consultant for.

If you’re sending your visitors (and therefore your best customer referrals) directly to the affiliate sales page or company website .. at best you’re leaving money on the table …

But more likely you’re not making one red cent and there’s a reason for that.

See they left something out.

Somewhere along the way – when we moved online – we forgot (and I mean flat out threw the idea out for some reason).

We forgot the critical importance of developing a customer list.

You know…

… a Rolodex of happy “want to hear from us” type people….

People we can sell things to

People we can ask for referrals

People we can easily tell about special offers (’cause they’re all handily living in the same database)

People we can serve…

People who want to support us If Only We Would Keep in Touch!

Online or offline – the life blood of any business (any real business) is its customer and contacts database.

So how come we forgot this little gem?

Well, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s not our fault.

See most of us came online looking for a way to create income without ANY business experience at all.

And the only people to teach us how to promote the stuff we decided to promote were the product and service producers themselves.

Well, looking to those folks for guidance about how to build our own businesses is never going to happen.

It has never been and never will be in the best interest (or even on the radar) of companies creating the product or services we love and want to share with the world to empower us to take ownership of our customer base.

That has to come from some place else.

Sure they can offer specifics about their products and see that the sales process goes smoothly once we get the (pre-sold) customer to them … but let’s never forget that these buyers are actually OUR customers first.

It’s us they’re buying into first.

Or they should be …

… if you actually want affiliate marketing to work for you.

You have to:

Build

a

List.

Now, while there are a couple of exceptions to this “don’t send traffic straight to your affiliate link” rule.

The beauty of these *exceptional* affiliate programs is this – they allow you to build your list AND send them traffic at the very same time.

And they also train you further in the art of affiliate marketing (which is the product being sold in each case – tools and training)

If you want to build a real business affiliate marketing, direct sales, network marketing, whatever …) – it’s an absolute requirement that you take control of your customer and visitor list.

A contact list is the real asset of any business.

Are you building yours?

Andrea

PS. If you’d like to receive my short list of must have tools and resources for getting started in Affiliate Marketing including affiliate programs that help you to build your list online…

… You’ll want to join my Affiliate Marketing basics list.

PPS. Ironically, if you think you have nothing to sell, this is the very best time to begin building your list…. sounds counter intuitive I know … such is the way of many things marketing – you’ll get used to it ;-)

I don’t know if you’ll feel the same way about this video from Marie Forleo as I did when I first watched it – but I can definitely relate to the concerns of the person who asked the question.

LOVE Marie btw – she’s just doing her thing, having a good time and taking the people who want what she’s got along for the ride.

We should all be so authentically ourselves in our marketing…

How do we know what’s a real opportunity and what isn’t?

What if you figured out your filter question and committed to it fully and completely for

2 weeks

45 days

3 months

… even a year?

… what sort of difference would that make in your results … in your life?

Watch this video from Marie and between now and my next post, I’ll nail down MY filter question and let you know … so I have some jumbo-sized accountability (you’ll hold me accountable won’t you?)

… and get ‘er dun.

Would love to hear yours too and return the favor.

Appreciate you!

After reading a post today by David Wood re. what Empower Network really is …

I thought a post re. what the Mastermind Partner Program is would be a good thing.

So what is the Mastermind Partner Program?

(aka. MPP)

Well in a nutshell, MPP is a response to a need I saw in my own coaching business.

What I saw most of all were people coming online and just flopping around – often for months or even years.

Good people.

With lots to share…

… and HUGE hurdles to leap over …

… mostly related to the technical side of marketing online …

But sometimes (often really) I see mindset and basic marketing understanding that has to be addressed too.

And I saw a distinct barrier to entry.

Two barriers really.

One was time…

(no one seems to have enough time – especially when they’re stuck in the “rat race”)

The other was money…

(the cost to get solid guidance on how to put all the pieces together – especially guidance that takes the wants and needs of the individual into consideration – rare and rarer)

And both were keeping me … and the people I was most effectively able to help … apart.

Many of these people were folks who I really dug too … I was not happy about having to wait till their next “I’m completely overwhelmed and I’m ready to quit” moment to connect again.

Something had to be done.

So I came up with my “coaching wrapped income thingy” … later to become known as the Mastermind Partner Program.

See I knew that I could easily “overdeliver” on a few hundred dollars worth of investment…

…Heck at that point $200 wasn’t even paying for an hour of my private consulting time….

And I was pretty sure I could teach other people how to develop an offer that made joining the MPP through them a no-brainer too … Help them to pinpoint their offer and develop their leadership.

10+ months later and we’ve had *some* success.

But I’m not nearly satisfied and I’m looking forward to upping our game in the coming year.

Lots in the hopper…

~ a 6 month Accountability level coaching program

~ a 6 month JV partner program

~ several members with info products to spit shine and get launched

~ increased specialized group activity in our private inner circle community

~ the addition of as many as 3 residual income streams

~ an updated MPP Phase I Roadmap complete with a totally new income Jumpstart system

~ focus on specialized marketing methods and listbuilding goals

~ inter team contests

~ monthly webinars guest hosted by up and coming leaders in our Mastermind program

~ what else?

… we’re only limited by our imagination :)

If you’re already a partner and want to shine in any of these areas – you be sure to raise your hand and let me in on your vision.

If you’re not already a Mastermind partner, why not?

Come see what we’re up to.

We look forward to connecting :)

Onward and upward!

I appreciate you,

Andrea

Maybe you’ve already heard the news.

Despite any resistance I had this time last week over joining the rank and file of the Empower Network movement (and it really has become a sort of movement) …

I’ve been won over.

If you’re on my list you would have already received this email that I sent out this morning explaining my change of heart.

But I’ll tell you the whole story here about how I became an Empower Network member (a pretty darn happy one at that)… and why, though resistance did turn out to be futile (lol) … it’s all good and I don’t feel at all like a Borg.

[brief reference there for my fellow Star Trek lovers ... just skip it if it doesn't ring a bell]

Here’s what was holding me back.

You know how sometimes something looks so cool that you know if you tune in, it could very easily swallow up all your time and send everything that you’ve already been focused on out the window?

That’s Empower Network to me in a nutshell.

Big. Important. All consuming if we let it be.

Enough people now follow me and say “just tell me what to do” that I need to be super sure of the things I recommend.

I knew I needed time to figure out how I wanted to position it (if at all) …

To figure how it could work in harmony with what is already working for me and my Mastermind Partners.

I knew if I did it that I would want to be able to support everyone who I brought to it effectively so that they too could get whatever they hoped for out of it.

And I knew I couldn’t do it alone.

The answer came in an email that I got last weekend from someone I have worked with before.

Someone who I trust, who has huge skills in areas that distinctly complement my own, has been successful in multiple info product launches as an affiliate and who I know is able to deliver training and resources that we can all use far more quickly and easily than I can on my own.

In a single sentence – he’s someone we can all learn from Above and Beyond that which is in Empower Network …

And as with anything I do …

EN (aka. any opportunity) is just the vehicle, it’s how we drive it, how we fold it into our own marketing plans and who we choose to learn further from that makes the road smooth or bumpy.

I think you’re gonna like what you see ;-)

Onward and upward we go!

Appreciate you,

Andrea

There’s a whole lotta hoop-la going on this weekend over David Wood’s new Empower Network project.

But I’m resisting and here’s why.

‘Cause to stop and figure out what it’s all about (for me) is nothin’ but a shiny object at this point.

Yes there are transactions gonna be happening all over creation the next few days, but it’s not a rabbit hole I’m willing to go down today.

I’m just flat out of time and it’s not part of “what’s working now” for me.

Let me explain.

Ironically, the story *sorta* begins this time last year when Mark Hoverson put out a 45-day team challenge to gather up 3k sales and build out our teams in a focused and swift manner.

Not being one to typically be rushed along or inspired by carrot/stick action, I was surprised to find myself really tuned in and wanting to be a part of the excitement.

I didn’t make it – then.

Gonna do my very best to nail it this year.

You can check out this year’s tournament deets by clicking here.

But that was the beginning. I knew I wanted to be a part of this bigger effort that was causing me to want to get up and perform for things I never before imagined I would want.

- Me up on stage?

- Me speaking to large groups?

- Me winning awards?

Just had not been on my radar. And that was what was so fascinating to me. I’d been so effectively and transparently “Direct Responsed” .. and I was giddy … I knew I had been and was still really game to be part of the experience.

And anything that gets Andrea excited has to have some pretty powerful magic in it.

This clearly did.

But I had to figure out how to play. I was completely cash poor and the situation here at home wasn’t gonna be changing anytime soon unless I made some pretty big moves.

One of those big moves was drawing a line in the sand with ‘el hubby’ … THIS is what I want and who I want to be connected to. Period.

He still doesn’t always fully support what it’s taking to get where I’m going – but reaping the rewards isn’t appearing too hateful to him either – he’s conflicted, I get that … so I leave him to his own flailing about.

In fact…

He spasm-ed again last night and I’m just taking it as part of the dues that’re being paid for personal growth and moving beyond the ‘status quo’ and comfort zone which have to happen for our lives to be dramatically changed going forward.

I’m for sure on a ‘come along for the ride or get outta the way’ kinda path these days.

And that’s probably one of the biggest shifts for me. Being okay with leaving people out – timing is a huge thing and it’s never fully in synch with the people who you want it to be and when you want it to be.

That’s okay.

There will be other opportunities to collaborate – probably.

And if not, then it’s because other *perfect for them* opportunities and relationships have appeared at better times and places … and that’s cool. I’m happy for them.

The ego of the enabler doesn’t like letting go. And yes I am a recovering enabler.

Letting go … being emotionally not-invested in the outcome has been a turning point for me.

So I’m letting this David Wood thingy pass me by for the moment (hint: assuming it ‘takes’, it’s going to be around for a very long time) – it’s not part of ‘what needs to be done today to live the life that I want tomorrow’.

So I pass for now.

Direct response has delivered me from a life of mediocre and unremarkable service to one of leadership and influence.

Didn’t think I’d be down with that.

But I am.

Andrea

PS. I’ve had two signs recently that the Mastermind Partner Program and now this new clarity on the direction that Phase II should take for the New Year (closer, tighter, more intimate) are exactly the right moves to be making.

=> Visit my “Yeah but I’m not a rockstar” post if you want some of that Phase II action…

Both signs came straight from leaders that I connected with at the Live the Dream II last weekend (have I mentioned today that live events change lives? Well they do.)

First – Mark H. looked me in the eye and said …

=> “You’re more of a team builder, I think.”

L-I-G-H-T-B-U-L-B!

I knew in that moment that he was 100% dead right and that that was the perfect ‘hat’ for me. Plan to hone my other skills too of course – but that’s my heart, team building and empowering others.

(sometimes through collaboration – sometimes not – point being that BOTH work).

And this next reply from Daegan made tears well up (lol twice now ’cause I just read it again):

Talk about leadership and influence.

It’s amazing what just a few choice words or sentences can do.

Simply amazing.

Morning!

I’ve just peeled my eyelids open after participating in
Live the Dream II here in Orlando for the last 3 days.

Given the amount of info swimming through my brain,
3 days is almost too much.

Almost.

And I’ve been thinking about it this morning ….

It’s kind of like this immersion thing – to get the most
out of an event like this you really need to have this
‘to the brink of overload’ situation to get the best
measure of yourself and where your own interests
and weaknesses really lie.

I’m there.

Clarity is always the biggest gift for me.

And I’m coming down off this weekend with a
bucket load of it.

After watching nearly 20 people (? Not exactly
sure – I very lost count lol) deliver their best
stuff (or at least what should have been) ….
12 of whom are well known in the industry …
my biggest personal take-away is this.

Yes there are foundational skills and a certain
posture that we all need to hone and adopt.

Posture is huge. Posture opens doors – of all
kinds. Posture can absolutely be learned.

But in the end the only ‘right’ way to build
a business – YOUR business – is to find a way
that sets you up building the muscles that need
to be built…

Not to impress anyone past your own skin … but
rather to be the “star” of your own life – which may
or may not actually include becoming a “Rockstar”
(on purpose).

More importantly, the perfect path for you will
get you feeling confident in the areas that you feel
you are ‘lacking’.

Truth is you’re not lacking and it’s not your
fault. You just haven’t had the right info presented
in a way that’s custom to you.

You haven’t had someone who was really willing
to dig in deep and work in concert, listening to
and helping you navigate the fire hose flow
of information that is all around and pin point
the tiny (everything that hangs us up is “tiny”
to someone) ‘stuff’ that is preventing you from
moving forward and you maybe don’t even know
exactly what it is.

Just like there’s an ‘ass for every seat’ – I’m coming
To realize that there’s a ‘coach for every student’.

And that being a shiny “Rockstar” is really only one
way to get there – there are so many other Unique to
You ways that you can become a ‘Rockstar’ …

My friend Theresa calls me a ‘Rockstar … in a matte
artsy kinda way’ … and that was probably the
first time I could comfortably see myself as anything
remotely connected to the word Rockstar.

Turns out we are all Rockstars – and we can choose
(really we owe it to ourselves and to the world) to
do it “our way” and no other way. Without letting
fears rule the choices that we make.

Tons of good info danced its way across the
stage – some I really connected with and some
which truly just left me flat…

And what I saw was that at the end, when
each person did their pitch … everyone … without
exception … had buyers who wanted what they
had.

Every single one.

An ass for every seat and a student for every teacher.

Super clear that 20 people and me will find each other
before the end of the year (probably sooner) …

And make beautiful marketing music together.

Am concocting our venue and our plan J

Be sure to enter your name and email below if you think this might be
a good fit for you.

I appreciate you!

I can’t tell you how many times each week I hear these words in one form or another. “I want a step-by-step guide to follow – please just tell me what to do”

And to be honest, it’s something that I’ve had a hard time answering to anyone’s satisfaction – including my own – because it just felt like an overwhelmingly HUGE question to even begin addressing.

That stopped the instant I listened to one of the trainings inside Daegan Smith’s Maximum Leverage Inner Circle.

It’s the one called The Front End Profits “Loophole” System found in the Maximum Leverage course itself (if you have a login).

Inside the first 27 minutes he basically lays out how to get clear on what exactly needs to happen in order for our monthly business goals to be turned into reality.

He calls it the clarity you need to “recruit at will”.

Now we have the first step.

Here’s the basics.

First you have to know what your own business goals are. How much do you want to earn each month? He used the example of making $1000/mo

Next you take the amount that your company pays you for new business and figure out how many sales you need to make to get that amount into your hand.

Example – if you are paid $100 for each sale – then you need 10 sales/mo in order to hit your income goal, right?

And 10 sales/mo equals 3 sales each week give or take (actually 2.5 but let’s give ourselves some breathing room shall we?)

Or you could break that down further into a sale every other day.

Suddenly it’s moving into the “this is a real possibility” zone, eh?

Then next you have to have some idea of how many leads it will take to make that sale every other day.

And maybe you don’t know what the conversions are for your company/product – you don’t have any real data yet. Not uncommon.

So you roll (for now) with an average 5% conversion rate – otherwise known as 1 lead out of every 20 will convert to a sale.

And let’s say we only count weekdays – weekends can be resting/playing time … we gotta live too right?

Meeting your income goals just got reduced to I need 20 leads every other day – aka. 10 new leads each day.

Totally doable – and if not immediately doable … then something tangible and achievable.

10 new leads a day with a product that pays you $100 and converts at 5% = $1000/mo.

Sweet!

And isn’t it interesting to look at different payouts and how those same leads can pay way more or way less depending on what you are offering:

10 new leads a day with a product that pays you $17 and converts at 5% = $170/mo.

10 new leads a day with a product that pays you $50 and converts at 5% = $500/mo.

10 new leads a day with a product that pays you $1000 and converts at 5% = $10k/mo.

What fits your income goal best?

I know what makes the most sense to me (and I’m betting not many people will guess this right … shoot me an email if you want to take a shot :)

The rest of the training is the actual “Front End Profits ‘Loophole’ System”.

He goes into the actual step-by-step “how to” details of making that happen.

It’s pretty ingenious really.

It’s done with a front-end cash creating process that can be used to make money for both you and your team upfront.

Working in a positive cash-flow position makes all the difference not only for your own business growth but also when you can guide others in this direction….

Well, you become pretty darn magnetic.

You can get the rest of the details on that part straight from the horse’s mouth.

Now it’s easy to clearly see the number of leads you need each day/week in order to meet your business goals with the product/service.

How many is that for what you’re currently offering?

That’s the very first step.

And it’s also your homework.

Let me know how the numbers crunch for you :)
