Wow! Our very own South African, Candice Swanepoel kicked some serious ~~ass~~ insane underwear at this years Victoria Secret Fashion Show! To think, from a farm down in Mooi River to representing SA globally at Victoria Secret… and doing a mighty fine job at it!

Came across this quirky little website last night while browsing around with Flipboard for ipad called “Cat vs Human” – The image (below) is a great illustration of what I live with daily! Nickbrandt, a native Londoner who first discovered Africa’s wondrous creatures on the untouched terrain in 1995, when he was still making music videos, practicing his formal training in film. Since then, Brandt has documented the extraordinary wildlife of Africa and its unfortunate decimation. It was in 2000 that that he shifted his medium of choice to photography…

Over 60 photos of Brandt’s work is currently on display at Fotografiska Museum in Stockholm, Sweden until January 8, 2012. There’s also a book containing 90 of the photographer’s images from 2001-2008 entitled On This Earth, A Shadow Falls that can be purchased directly from eye-photo Gallery.
