Osfoora for Twitter Review

Let's face it: the Twitter for Mac app has been abandoned. It's so outdated it doesn't even support Twitter's own image upload service which was launched back in August. While there are new alternatives popping up every day, Osfoora really caught my eye and based on its success on iOS, I decided to take it for a spin. The good news is that it's a really nice Twitter client that I'll use for a while. The bad news is that it has a few things that need to be fixed before it can truly supplant Twitter for Mac as my go-to app.

I'm hoping to test drive the new version of Basecamp shortly. Love reading blog entries that detail the technical stuff.

The latest version of OS X, announced seemingly out of nowhere, will be available later this summer. Another great example example of How Apple's small things influence their big things.

Shot entirely on Nikon's newly-released D800. The level of detail present is incredible and many people, myself included, thought that such a high megapixel count would be to the detriment of low-light shots but that's clearly not the case here. Sandro has done and amazing job here.

I wish more tech writers thought this way. Everything Shawn writes shows a great attention to detail and passion, two things worth supporting.

Amazing work by the guys over at McFarlane Toys for making a truly cringe-worthy DVD/Blu-ray case. I'd love to get my hands on one, but I'd need a dedicated area to put it on display.

When editing the East Passyunk Car Show I took a couple screenshots from the beginning sequence where I isolated certain colors from each shot and made them into wallpapers that I have on rotation currently. I'm offering them up for free download for any other muscle car fans. Five to choose from at 1920x1200 resolution.

For the past few months I've been toying around with the idea of getting some original designs on a t-shirt and selling them to you wonderful folks. I realized that this would be a more expensive undertaking than I initially planned as I browsed around both local screenprinting shops and online stores alike. Then I came across a site that changed my mind on the prospect.

Every year on February 2nd I end up reading more articles on the movie Groundhog Day and every year I learn a little bit more about this awesome flick. What I didn't know was that Phil Connors was stuck in the time loop for 10,000 years!
