From March of 1981: This was — believe it or not — something of a breakthrough for my songwriting, at least as far as lyrics went. I was trying to narrow the focus, if only to prevent my too-often habit of creating The Great Cosmic Statement. What’s it about? Dunno. Beastiality, probably.

Yes, and a clever bit of stage-business she is — designed to deflect the accusations of beastiality that surely would be levelled in my direction.

Mildred’s Temple Kitchen is inviting customers to have sex in its bathrooms.

The Valentine’s weekend promotion takes uncomfortable but electrifying sex from the close confines of an airplane and transfers it to the unisex stalls of the Hanna Ave. restaurant.

The Liberty Village restaurant proposes its modern bathrooms become one of the “101 places to have sex before you die.”

Mildred’s has always elicited a certain response. One customer, who didn’t want to be named, remembers going to a wedding at the eatery’s old location and seeing a copy of the Kama Sutra in the bathroom.

“They invite it,” said the customer.

This time, the invitation is explicit. On its website, Mildred’s asks: “Have you given any thought to moving beyond the bedroom?

“Check out Mildred’s Sexy Bathrooms throughout the weekend of Big Love. You get the picture.”

Actually, the picture is clouded by practicalities. Is the restaurant supplying condoms? What about the health risks of body fluids? And who’s cleaning up?

“We’ve always had little trysts in our bathrooms,” says chef/co-owner Donna Dooher, pointing to lingering weekday lunches as a popular time. “We’re taking it to the next level on Valentine’s weekend.”

Its coming along nicely and I have my galleys. I have approved the internal and external proofs. The next step is that I will be sent a dead-tree version of the book to approve. I am sure it will be available on iUniverse fairly soon and the trickle into the Amazon/BN.com feed for purchase.

I have sent galleys out to selected people for review purposes and I am looking at various publicity campaigns. I shall have And Glory business cards to hand out at CPAC and beyond.

Palin the polisher?

Well maybe a bit harsh, but she does seem to like trying to polish coal like the non-grassroots TPE and Tea Party Nation. What the hell are her advisors smoking? Does she care that she is really annoying the grassroots activists and members?

She, or people behind her, are trying to portray her as tea party leader when the movement has said many times it does not want “a leader”. Keep it up Sarah you are pissing away all the good will you garnered with the grassroots at an alarming rate.

Update: Tom Tamcredo has started the event well, by making a total arse of himself. Considering this guy said we should bomb Mecca & Medina if we are attacked by Islamists again, it should surprise no one. Of course, they are selling tasteful tea-bag jewellery.

Update II: Palin’s chances of being the nominee in 2012 are ebbing as she speaks at the TPN event. Its bloody awful, she is losing her place, whining and is just pathetic. I used to like her but of late I am not impressed. What the hell is this “we” crap? Give me a break she is suddenly part of the tea party movement. She was on the ticket with that RINO McCain… she has backed the guy for re-election.

Bunch Of Phonies Mourn J.D. Salinger

On my candidature

After consulting with my most ardent supporters and speaking with a fellow candidate I have come to a decision. Rather than split the anti-incumbant vote in Harpswell, I shall not be submitting my papers to run for the office of Selectman. Allison Hawkes is a sensible woman with great ideas and ideals for the town of Harpswell. Her concerns are my concerns and her frustrations mine. I shall do all I can to help in any way needed to ensure she succeeds in her run.

I would like to thank all those that supported me, both near and far in this candidacy. I especially appreciate all those who signed my nominating papers.

Harpswell will be in safe hands of Allison Hawkes.

WND upset over “earth circle” on US base

Yet again proving that its far easier to pick on pagans that actually worry about the group that might be spewing hate against the West and the US on base. Wonder if the WND types can point me in the direction of any pagan text that says its followers should wipe out or enslave all “infidels.” I am willing to bet it costs a lot less to build a stone circle in the woods than build other religious constructions.

Needless to say they are bleating on that “witchcraft” is being provided for on US bases. Its so nice they know who the real enemy is and are not making “evil” up where it does not exist.

No One Will Ever Know

A melancholic little piece about . . . melancholy, I guess. It hangs together fairly well, save for the accidental overdub of 15 seconds of drums near the end. That certainly is a mood-breaker.
